Would you have suspected?

The young priestess tilted her head up towards the bleeding sky. The rain washed the dirt and gore away form her face and body soaking her form more with water. She looked around now. The prone forms of her family like friends that she had grown so close to were in parts all round her. Pieces of red, black, and white hair, that she adored so much, were attached to decapitated heads. Hollow, unseeing eyes stared at her in shock, pain and disbelief. Did they all really think that she could not do something like this, that she was too weak, too worthless, innocent, maybe? Maybe she was. Maybe that is why she took them all by surprise, and why they all went down so quickly. It could have been her past that changed her so much, how she lost her father, mother and brother in such a horrible way. Who knows?

There was no regret, no remorse for what she had done. She had done it in the name of love and compassion. In the end they would all have died anyway, either by her hands now or by someone else's another day. `It was better this way', the woman-child thought, they would have the privilege of knowing who killed them instead of some common criminal. Then again they would never know why, such a kind and sweet creature turned on them.

She walked over to the torso covered in red, and picked up the sword in its' sheath. She could feel his eyes on her now, trying to figure out how and why she could have done what she did. She turned around and smiled at him, surprising him slightly, she knew, but he just didn't show it. She skipped happily around the wet, messy forest dodging bits and pieces of flesh and bone, and made her way towards him, stopping when she was three feet away. His eyes were still on her calculating and questioning her with his cool gaze.

She wordlessly took his right hand and cut his palm with his own claw, and dripped some if his blood in her palm. She than pricked her finger on the some claw and dropped some of her own blood in the same blood that contained his, and as soon and his and her blood touched you could hear the hiss. She mixed the blood together, and unsheathed the sword. She than smeared her palm with the mixed blood down the rusted sword, and he watched as the sword went from a gold glowing color to a light green color.

She smiled in satisfaction slipped onto her face. Again she took his hand and she placed the sword in it. He waited for the annoying pain and hissing sound of his flesh being burned, but none come. “Thank you Rin,” the man said, and placed his hand on top of her head after slipping the sword in his belt. “You are welcome Sesshoumaru-sama,” Rin said, and went bounding after him in his long strides.

A/N: ok I know that I have not updated my other stories that I have written, but I just haven't been really inspired as of late. I don't know what is wrong with me. It might be with all the school my muse decided that he would rather have me studying than writing stories. So blame him not me. Any way, what did yall think, was it good, bad, really, really bad, insanely good, maybe all of them. I would be greatly honored if you did review and gave me your opinions so that I could improve on my weak points.

Thanks for readin'
