Sorry about the long update. First I got grounded form my computer for two weeks because I got a D on my progress report. than I got sick with the flu and cold at the same time and was out for a week. Than I had to make up work and its just been hectic. I try'd to make this chapter longer. Well, anywho thanks to the people who reviewed. I appreciate the criticism and the motivation. Now on with the story.

Chapter 3
"Hey Sango can you pick me up to go to Inuyasha's house? I don't know the way." Kagome said speaking into the phone.
"Ofcourse, I'll be over in 15 minutes. That okay? I have to pick up Rin, her car is in the shop." Sango replied
"Yeah I'm all ready I'll wait for you out front." Kagome said while walking around her room to get her clothes to change into.
"Okay by Kags"
"Bye San"
After they hung up Kagome put on her swim suit. Then she put on a Green baby-T that stopped right below the belly button exposing her slightly tanned skin that said "Body Surf" across the chest with some Hawaiian flowers on it. She slid on a faded Jean mini skirt over her bathing suit bottom and slipped on some flip flops. She grabbed her bag with her pajamas and change of clothes and walked out of her room.
"Have fun Kagome, no hanky panky with the boys" her mom said sternly.
Kagome giggled at what her mom said but nodded. She didn't feel she had to lie to her mom to let her go. Her mom trusted her to make good decisions.
"Okay mom, Sango is going to pic me up soon so I am going to wait for her out front." She said walking to the door.
"All right, Bye" her mother said watching her leave.
Kagome closed the door behind her. She walked past the God Tree and went and sat on the shrine steps.
Its such a nice day. The sky was blue and it was really warm. somewhere in the high 80's or low 90's. I'm glad I have this time to think. I am so confused with Inuyasha. mean if I get together with him he will probably just play me. But there is something about him, I never met anyone like him before. He is just so sexy and he makes me feel sexy when I'm with him. And those eyes, I could get lost in those eyes. I love that silver hair I got to remember to ask him if his eyes and hair are natural.
Well it must be because Sess had the gold eyes and silver hair too. Sess is definitely cute but I like Inuyashas boyish look better, Sess looks to cold.
Kagomes thoughts were interrupted by someone honking their horn. She looked over to see Sango in the drivers seat and Rin in the passenger seat of a yellow jeep. They waved and yelled for her to get in. She stood up with her bag ran over to them. She through her bag in the back and hoped over the door into the back seat not bothering to open the door. It was a habit she had.
"Hey guys"

Inuyasha was a little nervous to see Kagome but he had no idea why. He was never nervous to see a girl. Never. It was driving him crazy. But he convinced himself it was nothing and that she was no different from any other girl. Yeah right.

When the girls pulled up to Inuyashas house Kagome was in Awe. Then again you wouldn't really call it a house, more like a palace. It was a huge White house, three stories at least, probably not counting the basement. A huge yard surrounding the house.
Wow, how rich are these people? Kagome thought as they made their way along the drive way.
When they reached the door Sango rung the door bell and Sess swung the door open.
"Hey guys come in" he said
Rin jumped on him as soon as she got in the door and they walked of somewhere.
Kagome and Sango walked over to a small group of people and Sango introduced her. "Everyone this is Kagome. Kagome this is Naraku" she said pointing to a guy with long black hair. 'He kind of creeps me out' Kagome thought. Sango continued talking "this is Bankotsu" she said pointing to a cute guy with a long black braid. "This is Ayame and Kagura" Sango said motioning to two girls, one with red hair and green eyes, and another girl with black hair and purple eyes. "And Last but not least Shippo, he is the youngest person at this little get together, the only freshman ever excepted in are group." Shippo had short orange hair and big green eyes.
Everyone said hi and they all talked. Everyone really liked Kagome, some in other ways than others. Shippo thought she was a cool and only liked her in a friendly way. But Naraku kept on looking her up and down and it was creeping her out, she could only imagine what he was thinking. Everyone else was really cool though, but Kagura seemed like a real bitch, maybe she was just imagining things.' I wonder where Inuyasha is?'

"ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME!" his father screamed
"We both know I'm not. why ask a stupid question we both know the answer to." Inuyasha said smugly while looking down playing with his nails.
"THAT IS IT I HAVE HAD IT!!
"Clam down dear" Inuyashas mother said "remember your blood pressure"
"Oh yeah, sorry. Okay Inuyasha if you get into another fight I am going to take your license away for a month."
"WHAT!" Inuyasha yelled "That's way to long."
"I can make it two months depending on how I feel "
"Fine can I go know?"

Everyone had decided to go out to the pool. Kagome had just noticed that she was still carrying her bag over one shoulder so she set it down by a chair. Sango and Rin had taken of their outer layers of clothes to reveal their bathing suits. Sango had a pink two-piece bikini with shorts and white stripes on the sides. Rin had a Blue string bikini with palm trees and Sess had swimming trunks matching Rins Bathing suit, palm trees and all. But it didn't matter cause Sess's toned hairless chest made up for it.
"Hey Sango I knew Sess and Rin were going to match so I asked Rin what bathing suit you were warring and TA-DA" Miroku said removing his towel from his waist to reveal pink swimming trunks with white stripes down the sides.
"Miroku you are an Idiot." Sango stated.
Kagome giggled and stared to take of her outer layer of clothes while a pair of golden eyes watched her.

Inuyasha was warring red swimming trunks with Hawaiian flowers as he stood there and watched Kagome undress. I think will I surprise her.
Inuyashas eyes traveled over her flawless body. She was warring a green string bikini with some Hawaiian flowers to match the shirt she was warring a second ago. She had perfect hips and the longest legs he has ever seen. Her skin was slightly tanned, he liked it better than completely pale. And those full breasts that seemed to be the perfect size. Not to big and not to small. Man green is so her color.
Kagome was laying down next to Rin and Sango tanning, her eyes were closed. He walked over to her and picked her up bridal style. Her eyes shot open and his gold eyes meet her blue ones. Before she could say a word he ran over to the pool and jumped in with her still in his arms.
Inuyasha still held her as they surfaced. Kagomes hair was slicked back with strands of hair stuck to face. Inuyashas bangs hung down farther, almost half way past his eyes.
Kagome could feel the heat radiating of his body, keeping her warm in the cold water.
Everybody looked over at the two and laughed.
Kagome laughed and playfully hit his arm. "What did you do that for?"
"I wanted to see what you looked like wet. Not disappointing" He said matter-of-factly.
Kagome blushed at his statement, she broke out of his embrace and swam over to the stair rail and made her way up. Inuyasha watched her the whole way smiling and looking her up and down. He frowned when he saw an oh to familiar person in front of Kagome.
Kagome had just reached the top of the stairs. She was looking down at the steps so that she wouldn't trip when she bumped into a hard body that almost sent her back into the water. She let out a little sound before an arm reached out and grabbed her around her waist pulling her back to the hard body. For some reason she didn't like the feel of being in this persons arms like she did in Inuyashas. with Inuyasha It just felt right.
She looked up and saw Kouga holding her. She tried to push away but he was stronger than her and held fast. "Hello beautiful, sorry I was late and couldn't keep the mutt off you." He said.
"Let go of me" Kagome said struggling.
Inuyasha had swam over to the side of the pool by the latter Kagome crawled up and climbed over the edge of the pool. "Let go of her right now asshole. Or I'll make you let go!" Inuyasha said fuming.
Everyone started to look towards Inuyasha, Kouga and Kagome now. Ayame seemed to be fuming while the others were starting to get worried another fight would break out. Kouga and Inuyasha had a history of being rivals, and it always would end in a fist fight. The fights got close sometimes but Inuyasha always won.
"You wanna go punk!" Kouga said letting go of Kagome.
Kagome ran over to Sango and Rin who kept asking her if she was okay. "I'm fine, are they really going to fight over this."
Her question was answered when Kouga through the first punch, making Inuyashas head turn. Everyone gasped, Miroku and Sess started to make their way over to Inuyasha and Kouga to try and stop the fight.
Must they start a fight every time they see each other? Sess thought.
Inuyasha slowly turned his face back. He slammed his fist into Kogua's face knocking him into the pool. Inuyasha jumped in after him.
"STOP!" Kagome screamed While Rin and Sango held her back."let me go its my fault they are fighting!" she then dropped to her knees and started to cry while Sango and Rin try'd to comfort her.
"Its not your fault Kagome you didn't do anything." Rin said.
Miroku and Sess jumped into the water. Sess swam to Inuyasha and held back his arms and Miroku did the same to Kouga.
"Inuyasha, stop acting like a fool, look at Kagome. Is this what you wanted to do when you were so called protecting her?" Sess spoke to Inuyasha while he struggled.
When Inuyasha heard his brother he stopped struggling and looked over, past Sango and Rin to Kagome. She was on the ground her Blue eyes filled with tears. 'I fucked up, she must think this is her fault.' He thought.
"Its okay Sess I'm calm, let me go."
Sess let go and looked over to see how Miroku was doing. Kouga was still fighting to get free from Mirokus lock he had on him so Sess swam over to help.
Inuyasha got out of the pool and made his way to Kagome. "Kagome I'm sorry I..." Kagome cut him off before he could finish by jumping into his arms crying. He didn't know what to do so he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her back. She felt so good in his arms.
Its so weird how I feel safe in his strong arms. This feels better than Kogua. "I didn't want you to get hurt. Its all my fault you were fighting." She said still crying but starting to calm down.
"No Kagome none of this was your fault it was all mine. I was being childish, me and Kouga don't get along very well." Inuyasha said into her ear trying to clam her down. But he was touched at how concerned she was for him.
Kagome leaned back and looked at him. She cupped his face in her hands and lightly traced her thumb over his cheek. "Inuyasha your cheek is kinda swollen and there is a cut. I would feel better if I could put some ice and a Band-Aid on it. Please." She asked hopefully.
"Its fine, but if it will make you feel better, okay." He couldn't deny her anything, all she had to do is ask and he wouldn't resist.
They started to stand up when Kouga came over and Inuyasha stepped infront of Kagome. "Relax mutt I am just going to tell Kagome good-bye."
He pushed Inuysaha out of the way and held Kagome hands in front of her. His cheek was already really swollen much worse than Inuyashas. "I'm going to go now, but I'll see you at school Monday." And with that he turned around and walked away.
"Okay, well lets go get some ice." Kagome said
"Keh"

"Ouch! That hurts Bitch"
"Oh shut up you sissy! You got yourself in a fight and you hardly flinched and some Ice makes you wine like a little baby. And never call me a Bitch again. I'm not your Bitch"
Inuyasha grabbed her by the shoulders and swung her around so that she was in his lap and he could look down at her."Never speak to me like that." He said with a playful smile daring her to speak.
Kagome was never one to back down from a challenge why start now? "I think you are mistaken, it is you who cannot speak to me that way maybe you should get down on your knees and apologize" She said smiling now.
Inuyasha was so taken with her. She is so much fun. "Okay, if I get down on my knees will you go with me to this ball they are holding for my father and mothers anniversary."
"Huh" she said shocked
"Yeah, I know its going to be boring and my parents want me to bring someone. Sess is going with Rin and Sango and Miroku are going together. I always get board at these things and I enjoy your company, you would make it fun. So we could go as friends like Sango and Miroku." He explained.
"I think it would help if you got on your knees" She said smugly.
"Your not going to make this easy are you?" He asked.
"Nope"
Inuyasha got down his nee and said "I'm sorry, will you please go with me."
"Ofcourse I would love to Inu." she answered than giggled. "here" she said leaning over and placed a Band-Aid ware his cut was on is left cheek."now you look like Nelly" Kagome laughed.
Inuyasha laughed with her."come on lets go back out side Kags."

Kagome went back over to Sango and Rin and told them about Inuyasha inviting her to go to the anniversary ball. They all talked about going to the mall to see what they were going to ware. Inuyasha told Sess, who just smirked.

"Oh no my bag is soaked!" Kagome said. "Sango, Rin do ether of you have something extra I can wear" All she had on was her bathing suit and all her other clothes were wet now, her bathing suit had dry'd but it was starting to get cold.
"No, sorry Kags" Sango and Rin said sympathetically.
Inuyasha had over heard. "Hey Kags you can wear a shirt of mine over your suit and I'll put your clothes in the dryer."
"Great, thanks Yash"
"Give me your bag and I'll put your stuff in the dryer and grab a shirt and meet you guys in the basement for the movies."
"K, thanks again Yash"

Kagome, Sango and Rin were sitting on the long couch talking and waiting for Inuyasha to come down to start the movie. "Wow Kagome Inuyasha sure acts different with you than another girl I've seen him with." Rin commented.
"Really?" Kagome asked.
"Actually Kagome I might have been a little harsh the other day maybe he is considering dating you seriously. But don't jump into anything." Sango said.
"Hey guys I'm going to sit with Sess." Rin said getting up. She walked over to Sess and sat in his lap in a big chair. Miroku pulled Sango off somewhere and left Kagome. So She talked to Ayame who was sitting on the floor and found out that she had a crush on Kouga.
That could would be great if I could get Kouga and Ayame together.
"Kagome, Here." Inuyasha said handing her a big white button up shirt.
"Thank you" She said slipping it over her head.
'Wow she looks really good in my clothes.' He thought when he could get a full view of her. The shirt went a little above mid thigh, the first few buttons were undone.
He sat down next to her in the empty seat on the couch.
Then a woman who looked about thirty or older walked in. She was carrying a couple big blankets and handed them to people. "Don't mind me, I just wanted to make sure you guys were comfertable."she said.
Thanks mom Inu said and kissed her on the cheek. He always felt that him and his mother had a strong bond.
Than she seemed to just notice Kagome. "Oh, I haven't seen you before, I'm Mrs. Tama. But please call me Amy"
"Nice to meet you my name is Kagome I'm new here I just moved into the shrine not to far from here" Kagome said extending her hand.
"Oh of course" she said shaking her hand. Than she whispered to Inu "I like her. She is much nicer than other girls you have brought home."
"Well, I have to go now bye bye." Mrs. Tama said, turned around and left.
"Lets watch a Horror movie" Sess said Putting in a Tape and then turned the lights out.
Inuyasha glanced over at Kagome "You look nervous"
"I am, I hate scary movies" she admitted.
"Don't worry it will be fine I'm right here" he said putting a big blanket over them.
"Thanks Yasha"

"Eeek" Kagome squealed and jumped into Inuyashas arms. Burying her head in his chest, accidentally smelling him. He smells really good I love AXE.
Inuyasha wrapped his arms around her and stroked her hair trying to comfort her. She is so cute and innocent.
Kagome yawned. "Inu I'm suddenly really tired, you woulent mind if I.."yawn"..use you as a pillow would you?"
"No, go to sleep." He said wrapping the blanket around them. He leaned back against the couch and she laid across his chest, their legs intertwined.
'I can feel his heart beat.. its claming'
Inuyasha soon heard her breathing even out indicating she was asleep. He soon fell asleep, Kagomes bright contagious smile invading and taking over his dreams.

Inuyasha got out of the pool and made his way to Kagome. "Kagome I'm sorry I..." Kagome cut him off before he could finish by jumping into his arms crying. He didn't know what to do so he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her back. She felt so good in his arms.
Its so weird how I feel safe in his strong arms. This feels better than Kogua. "I didn't want you to get hurt. Its all my fault you were fighting." She said still crying but starting to calm down.
"No Kagome none of this was your fault it was all mine. I was being childish, me and Kouga don't get along very well." Inuyasha said into her ear trying to clam her down. But he was touched at how concerned she was for him.
Kagome leaned back and looked at him. She cupped his face in her hands and lightly traced her thumb over his cheek. "Inuyasha your cheek is kinda swollen and there is a cut. I would feel better if I could put some ice and a Band-Aid on it. Please." She asked hopefully.
"Its fine, but if it will make you feel better, okay." He couldn't deny her anything, all she had to do is ask and he wouldn't resist.
They started to stand up when Kouga came over and Inuyasha stepped infront of Kagome. "Relax mutt I am just going to tell Kagome good-bye."
He pushed Inuysaha out of the way and held Kagome hands in front of her. His cheek was already really swollen much worse than Inuyashas. "I'm going to go now, but I'll see you at school Monday." And with that he turned around and walked away.
"Okay, well lets go get some ice." Kagome said
"Keh"

"Ouch! That hurts Bitch"
"Oh shut up you sissy! You got yourself in a fight and you hardly flinched and some Ice makes you wine like a little baby. And never call me a Bitch again. I'm not your Bitch"
Inuyasha grabbed her by the shoulders and swung her around so that she was in his lap and he could look down at her."Never speak to me like that." He said with a playful smile daring her to speak.
Kagome was never one to back down from a challenge why start now? "I think you are mistaken, it is you who cannot speak to me that way maybe you should get down on your knees and apologize" She said smiling now.
Inuyasha was so taken with her. She is so much fun. "Okay, if I get down on my knees will you go with me to this ball they are holding for my father and mothers anniversary."
"Huh" she said shocked
"Yeah, I know its going to be boring and my parents want me to bring someone. Sess is going with Rin and Sango and Miroku are going together. I always get board at these things and I enjoy your company, you would make it fun. So we could go as friends like Sango and Miroku." He explained.
"I think it would help if you got on your knees" She said smugly.
"Your not going to make this easy are you?" He asked.
"Nope"
Inuyasha got down his nee and said "I'm sorry, will you please go with me."
"Ofcourse I would love to Inu." she answered than giggled. "here" she said leaning over and placed a Band-Aid ware his cut was on is left cheek."now you look like Nelly" Kagome laughed.
Inuyasha laughed with her."come on lets go back out side Kags."

Kagome went back over to Sango and Rin and told them about Inuyasha inviting her to go to the anniversary ball. They all talked about going to the mall to see what they were going to ware. Inuyasha told Sess, who just smirked.

3 hours later
"Oh no my bag is soaked!" Kagome said. "Sango, Rin do ether of you have something extra I can wear" All she had on was her bathing suit and all her other clothes were wet now, her bathing suit had dry'd but it was starting to get cold.
"No, sorry Kags" Sango and Rin said sympathetically.
Inuyasha had over heard. "Hey Kags you can wear a shirt of mine over your suit and I'll put your clothes in the dryer."
"Great, thanks Yash"
"Give me your bag and I'll put your stuff in the dryer and grab a shirt and meet you guys in the basement for the movies."
"K, thanks again Yash"

Kagome, Sango and Rin were sitting on the long couch talking and waiting for Inuyasha to come down to start the movie. "Wow Kagome Inuyasha sure acts different with you than another girl I've seen him with." Rin commented.
"Really?" Kagome asked.
"Actually Kagome I might have been a little harsh the other day maybe he is considering dating you seriously. But don't jump into anything." Sango said.
"Hey guys I'm going to sit with Sess." Rin said getting up. She walked over to Sess and sat in his lap in a big chair. Miroku pulled Sango off somewhere and left Kagome. So She talked to Ayame who was sitting on the floor and found out that she had a crush on Kouga.
That could would be great if I could get Kouga and Ayame together.
"Kagome, Here." Inuyasha said handing her a big white button up shirt.
"Thank you" She said slipping it over her head.
'Wow she looks really good in my clothes.' He thought when he could get a full view of her. The shirt went a little above mid thigh, the first few buttons were undone.
He sat down next to her in the empty seat on the couch.
Then a woman who looked about thirty or older walked in. She was carrying a couple big blankets and handed them to people. "Don't mind me, I just wanted to make sure you guys were comfertable."she said.
Thanks mom Inu said and kissed her on the cheek. He always felt that him and his mother had a strong bond.
Than she seemed to just notice Kagome. "Oh, I haven't seen you before, I'm Mrs. Tama. But please call me Amy"
"Nice to meet you my name is Kagome I'm new here I just moved into the shrine not to far from here" Kagome said extending her hand.
"Oh of course" she said shaking her hand. Than she whispered to Inu "I like her. She is much nicer than other girls you have brought home."
"Well, I have to go now bye bye." Mrs. Tama said, turned around and left.
"Lets watch a Horror movie" Sess said Putting in a Tape and then turned the lights out.
Inuyasha glanced over at Kagome "You look nervous"
"I am, I hate scary movies" she admitted.
"Don't worry it will be fine I'm right here" he said putting a big blanket over them.
"Thanks Yasha"

"Eeek" Kagome squealed and jumped into Inuyashas arms. Burying her head in his chest, accidentally smelling him. He smells really good I love AXE.
Inuyasha wrapped his arms around her and stroked her hair trying to comfort her. She is so cute and innocent.
Kagome yawned. "Inu I'm suddenly really tired, you woulent mind if I.."yawn"..use you as a pillow would you?"
"No, go to sleep." He said wrapping the blanket around them. He leaned back against the couch and she laid across his chest, their legs intertwined.
'I can feel his heart beat.. its claming'
Inuyasha soon heard her breathing even out indicating she was asleep. He soon fell asleep, Kagomes bright contagious smile invading and taking over his dreams.
