The News

Oh, ok everyone just to tell you all, my muse is still MIA (missing in action) but I wanted to give you all something. And just to let you all know I WILL NOT, unless it out of my hands (death, injury, sickness (knock on wood)) leave a story. No matter how long it takes, I will finish my stories. Inu-Yasha made his way down the long staircase, not for the first time in his life wishing there weren't so many steps, only to not see anyone. Dash down the rest of the steps he saw everyone grouped around the television in his living room. Shaking his head, he walked toward them, when they didn't seem to notice he spoke up.

 

“Man guys, am I the only one taking Naraku seriously. I think we have better things to do then watch a group of idiots try to survive on an island, or someone try to win a million dollars.” (Sorry to any fans of said shows)

 

“Shhhh!”

 

“What why are you all shhing me!”

 

Rolling her eyes Kagome reached up, grabbed Inu-Yasha face, and forced him to watch what was on the TV. For the first time Inu-Yasha took note of what was going on. It was a black cloud that was sitting on the ground and across the bottom ran the words. School under attack, that's when realization hit him that school, was Kagome's school. That when the reporters word began to sink in.

 

“We're standing outside the Tokyo high school PS11 (I don't know if that's right I know in big cities they tend to give schools numbers.) Were what appears to be a bark cloud has descended on the school. Polices were called when people in neighboring buildings heard screams from inside then this cloud appeared, then nothing. Police and fire crews have tried several methods to penetrate the cloud and get inside; fearing a chemical accident or gas leak, however, every attempt so far has meet disastrous ends. Including one firefight's protective gear being melted off his body, a police officer's skin was pealing off and even a helicopter's steel ladder and landing gear being melted off. As of now hope for the students has not been lost but we can assume they are not in good shape. Well in other news, Michel Jackson showed up to court today an hour late and in his pajama bottoms, more on this story with you Dave.” (So I mean no offence to you guy in Fire and police I have like three friend on fire crews. But, do tell me did I get the air headed reporter down right?)

 

Everyone was silent to stunned to voice any kind of opinion, when Rin spoke up.

 

“I can't believe Michel Jackson did that!”

 

All eyes turned to Rin as Kagome and Sango smiled, Inu-Yasha was the next to speak.

 

“So what should we do, we can't just go down there the cops would never let us past. And I really don't thing they'll buy the line. We have to go in there to stop a power hungry demon from the warring states era they we kind of let lose here. Oh and by the way my brother that little kid and I are demons too and that girl is a miko, he's a monk, she's a demon exterminator. Yeah they believe us.”

 

“We can't just leave them, the longer those people stay there the more their body will eat away and more their souls will fade.”

 

It was quiet again as everyone tried to think, the next person to speak was Sesshoumaru.

 

“So what we need is a plan and I think I've got one…”
