Alright everyone,b4 ya get mad at me,yes I know it has been a long time,but I'm working on alot of stuff right now,so i'm trying to fit it all on my schedule,but plz just be paitent. <3..thanx ^^

Chapter 17: past problems

Kagome woke up to the sun's rays beaming on her face,she grimanced and turned over.

Kagome opened her eyes,she turned back over to see Sango cuddled up,and Ayame facing the wall.

Kagome smiled and looked over her shoulder. Inuyasha was sleeping with the cover over his head,Miroku was on his side,Koga was in a indiscribable (sp?) position,and Shippo was sleeping well,perfect.

Kagome laid back down. Until it hit her. 'Where's Kirara?!'

Kagome bounded up and noticed that she wasn't in the room.

'Now that I think of it,she was'nt in the bed when I came back in the house last night.'

Kagome ran down her stairs and sighed with relief to see her asleep on the couch,who knows how she got there though.

Kagome yawned and was about to go back up the stairs and to bed,until her mom came rushing down the stairs with a suitcase in hand.

"Mom where are you going?"

"Oh sweetie,your aunt called me from Kyoto,she's been sick,I'm gonna go visit her,really sorry,"

"That's okay."

They quikly said good bye and she was off.

'Well,at least she didn't find out about the guys.' Kagome thought.

Kagome decided to wake Kirara up and take her back up sairs to sleep some more.

When they reached the top,Kagome couldn't contain her laugh.
Her dog Chica was licking Inuyasha's face.

The girl's kept laughing until they heard a stiffled moan that sounded like "Kagome"

The girls stop. Kagome's face suddenlt resembled a tomato.

"I'm sleepy now." Kagome said fast,as she ran strait to the bed and snuggled into the sheets of her bed. Kirara chuckled for a second and got in the bed with her.

At around 12 the door opened to the house,but nobody seemed to hear it.

Then 5 minutes later music was blasting from downstairs.

Everyone's heads shot up.

They all got up and slowly walked down stairs,Kagome in lead.

The song "I luv your girl" by The dream was blasting from the sterio underneith the TV.

Kagome looked around to find Sota,his friends yurai,and hinami,and 2 girls..Yura and hitomi.

They were sitting on the coach with beer in there hands!

"Sota Higurashi!" Kagome called.

Sota was taking a sip at the time and nearly chocked on it.

"Kagome,your..um.. here?"

Inuyasha had to laugh,her brother was pretty bad ass himself.

"Yeah!"

But she couldnt say anything else,cause the door opened to reveal a boy that must have been a junior. Rinkotsu.

At the moment the song changed to dem jeans(note that Kagome still had her clothes on from the previous night)

Rinkotsu stopped and looked Kagome over.

"Looking hotter than ever babe."

Kagome made a face. "Dont call me that."

"Oh come on koi,you love me remember."

"What the fuck you talking about,I would never fall for you."

He walked past her and sang while he slid his hand on her waist.."Damn girl,how did you get all that in dem jeans."

He smiled and walked over to the couch,dropping off the beer,and walked off towards Kagome again.

Sota didn't like Rinkotsu,but he always came because he was Yurai's cousin.

When Rinkotsu walked up to Kagome she bitch slapped him before he could touch her.

Rinkotsu grabbed her hand and attempted to smack her back. But Inuyasha was there in a second. He punched him in the face. Miroku jumped on him,and punched him agian,while Koga and Shippo started to kick him. Sango was banging his head against the floor. Ayame was kicking him in the balls. While kirara slapped the shit out of him.

"DONT TOUCH HER!" They yelled usion.

Kagome gasped at how quik they were to help her.

They got off him and made sure that Kagome was okay.

"Yeah dont worry I'm fine."

Kagome looked down at the distraut boy.

"Now get the fuck out of my house before I have to kick your ass myself!"

Rinkotsu quikly got up and nearly jumped out the front door.

"Thanks guys." Kagome said turning to them.

They all nodded in usion.

"Come on girl,aint nobody gonna mess wit my home girl." Kirara said.

They chuckled before a voice dripped in attitude interupted the good moment.

"Why Kagome,do you have to get other people to fight your battles now,that's not the Kagome I know." Kikyo said with a smirk on her face.

Kagome stalked up to the girl. "I have beat Rinkotsu's ass before,I would have beat his ass if my friends,something you don't have,got there before me."

The girl rolled her eyes.

She looked past the girl to Inuyasha.

"Inuyasha,how about you and me go up to my room,and get the nieghbors complainin'."

Before Inuyasha could make his smart remark Kagome had Kikyo pinned against the wall in the similar way she had the previous day.

"Shut your fucking mouth before I ripp it off and shove it up your ass." Kagome said her eyes narrowing.

Kikyo was pissed that she was once again put down by the girl and said something that she knew she would regret.

"Fuck you bitch,don't be mad cause you want him down your pants,but he wont give it to you!" Kikyo nearly screamed. Kikyo gasped as it escaped her mouth.

Kagome backed away from the girl. Her words sinking in.

Inuyasha's mouth nearly dropped to the floor.

Kikyo smirked. She was taking a big risk,but she seemed to take it seriously,maybe just maybe she would back down,and she would win for the first time.

"You hate me Kagome,but your still a girl,you love to tell every girl you know your secrets,even me."

"You think that I would be too scared to tell him,you told me that you wanted him down your pants,but you knew that he wouldn't give it to you."

Kagome's mouth was agape for a second before she let out a chuckle.

"I'm nothing like you Kikyo,your mistaking your fantasies for mine."

"I would never tell you such a secret,I would never think such nasty thoughts,I don't have your disgusting whore mind."

Kagome quikly grabbed her hair and dragged her across to the back door.

She pushed her out the house onto the lawn.

Kikyo hit the ground and hissed in pain. She looked up her eyes wide as she looked at Kagome's dark eyes.

Kagome grabbed Kikyo by her hair and pulled her up to her eye level.

"I'm tired of your bull shit,ever since that day you have been nothing of a bitch,than you became a stupid whore,you should be ashamed of yourself!" Kagome yelled in a stotic voice.

Kikyo crindged and looked to the ground.

Kagome punched Kikyo square in the jaw. Not too hard. Just to get through to her.

She let her fall as Kikyo crindged and cradled her jaw.

"You need to get out of my face,go to your room,anywhere that's not near me."

Kikyo just simply nodded and walked quiky past the group. She knew she had gotten off easy. She had been punched by Kagome before with a full blow. And this didn't even compare to it. When she reached the bottom of the stairs she ran. She ran as tears ran like water falls down her face,not because of the punch. But because Kagome had mangaged to effect her with just a punch and a few words. When she reached her room she crawled into bed and wept. Silently sobbing at what she knew she had became. Something she couldn't change.

Kagome stood there for a second before turning to her friends and offering a fake smile,that didn't go unoticed.

The group looked around nervously. The girls didn't know of Kikyo's past. Even if they where Kagome's best friends.

Sota gave Kagome a sad smile. Knowing all to well what had happened.

Kagome sighed. "I'm gonna go for a walk."

Kagome went around the house and down the long stairs. She didn't want to continue,so she sat at the bottom stair,with her arms wrapped around her,and head burried.

Soon she heard foot steps,she lifted her head and met amber eyes.
He sat down next to her. "I'm hear to talk if you want to."

Kagome sighed. "That..would be nice,but you don't wanna hear it,it's just a boring sob story.

"No,really I wanna hear."

Kagome smiled. "Okay than."

"Well,it's not a day I really like to remember,I was 11 years old,and so was Kikyo,if you didn't already know where the same age except she's a few months older."

Well,my parents had been split up for about 6 months,and where soon to final there divorce,well one day,the day that they where to decide who would have custody of me,my mother sent me and my brother to my aunt Sherai's house (kikyo's mother),Kikyo's parents had been divorced for about 3 years already,and her mom had a boyfriend named kai. Well I was supposed to only stay there for the weekend,but I ended up staying longer. Sherai told me and Kikyo that we would be staying with Kai on Sunday,because she had a bisuness meeting. She would be leaving in the early morning,and would come back on Monday.

"The day went pretty normal until Kai woke up around 12 in the afternoon,and said that he would go out and get us something,sense we where probably hungry." Kagome's eyes darkened.

"At around 9:30 was when he actullly came back. Me and Kikyo where sitting on the couch laughing at some dumb funny movie,sota was asleep"

He suddenly just stormed in,he seemed drunk,or high,he grabbed Kikyo and dragged her up the stairs. I was shocked and ran after them. He had locked the door to her room. I couldn't open it. I stood there for about 3 minutes until I heard her scream. My body went into overload,and...my priestess powers got the better of me. I knocked down the door with my hands,a power had no idea i possesed. Kagome looked down at her hands.

"He was molesting her,she wasn't raped and thank god for that,but she was really scared,I got furious,and...I..to put it in the least, I paralyzed him." Kagome shut her eyes. Images playing through her mind.

Inuyasha put a hand on her shoulder. "He deserved it,don't feel remorse."

Kagome slowly opened her eyes. "It's not that I feel remorse,it's just..that the power I had..that I didn't know was there really scared me,what if one day that happens again,but I end up hurting someone I really love?"

Inuyasha sighed. "Something tells me that's not gonna happen."

Kagome looked up and gave a weak smile.

"Hopefully."

"Is that why you never use your powers,or the fact why I havn't even heard of them?"

"Yeah,and I don't plan on using them ever again."

"You can still use them Kagome,just learn to control it."

"Yeah,I guess."

Inuyasha smiled.

"So Kikyo wasn't always like that?"

"No,not at all,she was just like me,we did everything together."

"And..what happened?"

Well,she was so scared that day,she thought she had been raped. After she learned that she hadn't,she still felt as if her life had no meaning,or so she told me.

"So,she became a whore,convincing her self that it didn't matter."

"So it,like..grew on her?"

"Yeah,it became like an addiction"

"So now your trying to get her back,aren't you?"

"Yeah,and sware that I will get her back,some how."

"Good." Inuyasha said while smiling.

"Come on,lets go back up."

Kagome nodded.

They began to make there way up the long stairs.

There ya go guys...kinda just shows what happened,and the reason Kikyo acts the way she does. I'm trying my best to finish the next chapters,but it's just so hard,I have sooo much to do...,I have to write a script for me and my friend's web show. I have to finish the beat for our opening song. I have to finish the chapters for this one,my other fanfiction (by the way,check that out!). I have to write the chapters for a story that isn't fanfiction. Totall original. I have to make two AMV's for a Anime vidoe contest on YouTube. I have to draw 3 fanarts. One for DeviantArt,two for here,one on this story,and one on the other. Plus I have to earn the money for our video camera,for our show.
