Chapter Two
Rin sighed. She was right; they landed themselves in the big house. Again. Thanks to Kagome's bright ideas. Now they were sitting next to a woman called `big momma' who was singing show tunes under her breath and glaring at them. Once again Kouga had to come get them out. He was not happy to say the least. The girls could hear his furious yelling through the phone, and they were sitting in the cell while Kagome called him.
Rin sighed once again as she remembered what led them up to this.
Flashback
“Oh no…” Sango and Rin muttered at the same time as they saw what their friend was looking at.
`Bachelor Party Here Tonight!' A big sign attached to the huge door read. “Kagome, please tell me you aren't thinking of what I think your thinking of.” Rin asked, afraid of the answer she would receive.
“You know I am.” She smiled slyly. Sango sighed, “Ah well, why not. This could be interesting.” Rin looked at her incredulously, “You can't be serious! You're both nuts!” “Oh come on! Lighten up Rin, this could be fun. After all, what's a bachelor party without strippers?” Kagome asked.
“Hello! It's a bachelor party! Meaning they probably already have strippers. And by the looks of this place, they could afford the best of the best strippers!” Rin tried yet again, but she saw it was to no avail. These two were not going to be swayed. So she just settled for, “We are going to get our asses in so much trouble.” And with that, they got out and walked up the expansive walkway.
This house was a rich one all right; whoever lived here was obviously loaded. 3 stories, brick exterior, many large windows, not to mention the expensive looking cars in the driveway. There were many exquisite flowers lining the walkway as well. There was even a large fountain with a naked woman bending over on one leg holding the other one straight into the air and spitting water out of her mouth. Hm, whoever lives here was obviously a man with…interesting tastes.
“Whoever lives here is obviously a pervert” Sango put in her oh-so delicate way. The other two laughed. “Um, are we even dressed right for something like this?” Rin asked motioning to their outfits.
“Hm, they should be good enough, we wont be wearing them for long anyway” Kagome smirked. She was wearing a frilly short black skirt with a red v-neck halter-top with silver sequins going down the neck to end at the swell of her cleavage that was slightly showing.
Sango was wearing a short jean skirt that showed off her marvelous thighs with a light pink tube-top that slightly showed a bit of her large cleavage.
Rin was wearing a short white sleeveless dress that was tight around her breasts and hugged her hips to perfection.
The girls agreed and went up to the door and Kagome rang the bell. Then they waited for someone to open it. After a few minutes a short old man came and opened the door, giving the girls a start. They were so not stripping for a bunch of old geezers.
“Ah, you must be the strippers the master ordered.” He said in a raspy voice. The girls barely resisted a sigh of relief. “Well follow me.” He told them as they stepped inside and he closed the door.
“I don't believe I agreed to this.” Rin whispered to the other two as they followed the short feeble old butler. The house was certainly an expensive one. Crystal chandeliers on every ceiling, plush carpeting, marble stairs, rich exquisite paintings, man this place was amazing!
Finally as they entered a hallway and headed towards the end, they could hear rich males laughter from inside. The butler knocked on the door and entered. “Master Miroku, you're…ladies have arrived.” Kagome could sense the obvious distaste this man held for them. Well not just them, but strippers in general.
She barely held in her laughter, this was going almost too smoothly. But who was she to question success?
The girls entered the room and spotted the men they would be entertaining that night. There were 7 in total. One had black hair that was tied in a little ponytail in the back of his head with a stunning pair of violet eyes.
The next, sitting on the couch beside him had long silver hair and the most amazing pair of golden eyes ever. The cutest part was a pair of little dog-ears on the top of his head.
Then another guy leaning against the wall had long silver hair, longer than the other ones, with long pointed ears and the same pair of golden eyes, just not quite as expressive. Almost cold if you looked long enough.
Those were the only guys the girls really cared to look at. As soon as they saw them they knew that they were going to be their guys tonight.
As they entered the room every guy's stare was on them. Everyone except the one with the cold amber eyes. He seemed too mature to take part in any of that. “Hello boys. So I hear we have a bachelor in the house.” Kagome smirked using her most seductive tone.
She noticed the one with the dog ears was staring at her intensely and smiled. Oh yes, they were going to have some fun tonight.
“Yeah, I'm right here baby” The one with the black hair in the ponytail smiled, his eyes lingering on Sango. Sango blushed and turned away a bit. Kagome laughed a bit, “Well then, lets get some music” One of the guys in the room turned on the oversized stereo system and an erotic beat pounded through the speakers.
The other two sighed inaudibly before getting into place beside Kagome and swaying their hips to the beat.
As the song played the girls commenced to dancing erotically for the guys shaking their hips and sinking to the ground before popping back up and rolling their stomachs as Sango and Kagome lifted the ends of their shirts just a tad showing off their stomachs before dropping them and sinking to the ground as Rin did a little twist causing her dress to twirl in a flirty way, showing off even more of her legs before stopping with them spread as the other two girls worked their bodies up on either side of her.
Kagome moved to a lamp beside the couch where the man with the dog-ears was sitting and twirled around it like it was one of those stripper poles. She wrapped her leg around it and arched backwards making her shirt ride up and the man with dog-ears was looking at her with hunger filling his eyes. Kagome smirked as she slid up and down the lamp pole before bringing herself back up and swinging her hair around so it briefly swept across him.
Meanwhile Rin was busy entertaining her man. The one with the cold amber eyes immediately drew her to him. And she was determined to draw him in to her. It didn't look like it would be too hard considering how his eyes hadn't left her since she came in. She popped her hips to the music and went over to an empty couch and raised her leg up and doing an erotic stretch. It was a good thing she used to be a ballet dancer. As she did that her dress raised up even more so right in front of him, giving him a perfect view of her well-sculpted thighs. Then she raised her leg up for a brief moment giving him a view of her white thong before bringing it down and twisting it around herself spinning down to the ground before flexing it out again at the ground.
Sango had her eyes on the man with black hair in the ponytail. Sure the party was for him, meaning he was engaged. But she could still have some fun with him couldn't she? Since she was wearing a more restraining skirt than the others she settled for sensually moving towards the bachelor and climbing into his lap where she was straddling him and leaned back over his legs before standing her legs up, giving him an eyeful of up her skirt, and doing an erotic roll up and rubbed her breasts against his chest as his breath quickened considerably. Then he groped her ass and she just barely restrained from slapping him.
As the song ended the girls made their way to their beginning points and Rin ended leaning over forward and Kagome leaning against her with Sango wrapping her leg around Kagome's and leaning her elbow on Kagome's shoulder.
The room was quiet for a few moments before filling with clapping and whistles, along with many catcalls from the men. Even the cold-eyed guy clapped.
Well, for girls who had never done that kind of thing before, they did a pretty damn good job at it.
“Ladies, I have to say…that was wonderful! You make me wish I wasn't getting married.” The bachelor told them. “Well we have been very rude, I'm Miroku, this is Inuyasha, that's Sesshomaru, this is Haku, and over there is Hojo, Kuru, and Masumo.” He told them, pointing to each individual one.
“Nice to meet you all, this is Sango, Rin, and I'm Kagome” Kagome introduced them. “Now, anyone want to offer a lady a drink?” Nearly all of the guys held out their drinks but Kagome only paid attention to the one she wanted. Inuyasha. She proceeded to walk over to him and sit in his lap, taking the offered drink.
Sango and Rin smiled and shook their head, each thinking along the same lines; `She is so going to get her ass in trouble.'
“Hello gorgeous” The man known as Inuyasha smirked at the girl sitting on his lap. “Hello yourself handsome” Kagome purred as she wrapped an arm around his neck and took a swig of his drink. Sango frowned a bit at the scene, `She does realize she's acting like a complete slut…almost anyway…' Her thoughts were soon cut off and she was pulled against a strong muscular chest.
She looked up and saw it was Miroku, “Hey baby, wanna go upstairs?” Sango glared and once again resisted slapping him, “No. I don't sleep with men who are already taken.” She settled for that and grabbed an offered drink from someone. “Oh. So would you want to if I wasn't engaged?” Needless to say he was on the floor after that one.
Rin on the other hand was now leaning against the wall beside Sesshomaru and trying to start a conversation. Sure she was only pretending to be the entertainment but…oh well, she could still try and get to know the guy. Too bad Sesshomaru seemed interested in anything but a conversation. He was so…unemotional and quiet. But that made her even more intrigued.
After about an hour or so Kagome was on the edge of being drunk, Sango was now trying her hardest to avoid the groping hands of Miroku. Whenever he did happen to cop a feel though, she let loose and slapped him to the ground. Luckily that kept him out for a few minutes. And Rin had finally managed to get Sesshomaru to start a polite conversation and she found out he was a successful owner/lawyer of a prestigious law firm.
Inuyasha was enjoying Kagome's company immensely; he couldn't help but notice the innocence and a bit of sadness in her eyes. Not what strippers usually have. She was gorgeous he had to admit, but something didn't feel quite right about her. Not to mention she looked pretty young to be a stripper.
The other men in the room were forgotten and left to their own devices as the others' attentions were focused on the 3 girls. Finally as they were all laughing at Sango slapping Miroku unconscious again the door opened and that weird butler dude stepped in.
“Master Mirok…u….” He started and looked at his master's unconscious form. “Well…here are the other…ladies” He stepped aside and 3 girls stepped in all wearing trench coats with nothing underneath apparently.
Kagome, Sango, and Rin's eyes widened. “And this is our cue to leave, nice meeting you boys but we gotta go!” Kagome quickly said as she kissed Inuyasha's cheek and jumped up and opened a window and jumped out followed by Rin and Sango.
The guys all blinked and looked at the confused strippers that just entered. “What the…” Inuyasha started. “I do believe that we have just been had. And not in the good way either.” Miroku said as he stood up and laughed. “So then…they weren't really strippers?” Haku asked.
“Apparently not. Not the ones Miroku hired anyway.” Sesshomaru said and glanced out the window at the 3 girls jumping into a silver convertible and speeding away; but not before he made a mental note of the license plate though…
Kagome breathed a sigh of relief as they sped away, “Well…we should have seen that coming.” “You got that right” Sango glared. “Oh shut up!” Kagome rolled her eyes.
The drove along laughing and enjoying the memories of the night. Sure it was probably one of the stupidest things they had ever done, well besides the time they dressed up as bananas and entered a polo contest…but that's another story.
They drove along the highway for a few minutes as Kagome tried to concentrate on the road. It was really blurry considering how tipsy she was from all the alcohol. She blinked to try and clear her vision but if anything it only made it blurrier. And for some reason, she didn't care. It made her want to go faster. So she did.
“Hey Kag, why are you speeding up? The speed limits only 55 and your goin 75.” Sango inquired as she peeked over the dashboard at the MPH needle. “I'm in the mood for some speed!” Kagome shouted as she sped up even more. Now they were going 90 and still faster.
“Kagome slow down!” Rin told her as she put her seatbelt on. Kagome just shook her head laughing, “Oh relax! What's going to happen? The cops gonna come out of nowhere and arrest me for drunk driving?” Just as soon as that sentence was out of her mouth the sound of sirens filled the air.
“Damn.” Kagome muttered.
End Flashback
Rin sighed once again as Kouga finally arrived and paid their bail. “Uh, I actually think I'd rather stay in here!” Kagome told the officer who was releasing them. The officer just shook his head and opened the door letting them out…or letting Kouga in anyway.
Kouga entered the cell glaring at each of them individually until his gaze fell on Kagome. “What. In. The. Hell! Were you thinking! Drunk driving! I mean do you have a brain in that pretty little head of yours or not! This is the 4th time I have had to come bail you three out for your stupid stunts! Do you have any idea how dangerous driving drunk is! It's a good thing you were pulled over before anything serious happened to you. And then to top it all off, you just had to go and make the whole fucking thing a high-speed chase!” He yelled at her.
Kagome just looked down trying to block out the sound of his yells. Not only was she feeling guilty but also she was starting to get a hangover and it hurt like hell.
“Kouga…we're sorry…we just let everything get out of hand and…well the next thing we know we're in the car with Kagome driving 100 miles an hour.” Rin told him trying to help Kagome out. “110” Sango coughed into her hand. Rin shot her a look.
“Regardless of that do you have any idea how stupid it was? And you two should have known better than to let her drive drunk since obviously you aren't as plastered as her yet!” Kouga glared at Sango and Rin before sighing, “Just come on. We'll discuss this later.” He said that with a meaningful look at Kagome and she knew she was going to bear the brunt of it all.
They left the police station and it was 1:27 in the morning by the time Kouga parked at the girl's house. Rin and Sango threw remorseful glances at Kagome before exiting the car quietly leaving them alone.
Kouga sighed with his hands on the wheel; he had yet to look at Kagome at all since they got into the car and he was now looking out the windshield at the dark vacant street. Meanwhile Kagome was looking out her window with a poignant look on her face.
“I just don't understand why you always do such stupid and irresponsible things like this Kagome. Could you just clear it up for me please? Just tell me why. Is it because you enjoy having me yell at you every single damn time I have to go bail you out!” Kouga's hands tightened considerably on the steering wheel.
“I mean what happened to the sweet innocent girl I used to know in high school huh? You never used to want to do this stupid shit and now it seems I can't get you to stop. What's really going on Kagome?” He finally looked over at her.
Kagome sighed; He could be insightful when he wanted to be and she hated it. “People change Kouga. I'm sorry I have to keep calling you to bail us out and I'm sorry I drove drunk and endangered Sango and Rin's lives. But I can't make myself be sorry for the rest of it because I'm not.”
Kouga just closed his eyes turning his head forward again. This was obviously not the answer he was expecting. “I love you Kagome” She winced at that. “And I understand you want to go off and be wild but all these stupid little stunts have me worried that one day you're going to over do it and end up killing yourself. I don't know if I could handle that.”
“It's my life Kouga. If I end up killing myself then I end up killing myself. There's nothing you can do to stop me.” He growled and turned, grabbing her shoulder roughly forcing her to look at him.
“I will not let you kill yourself Kagome! It may be you're life, yes. But I am apart of it now, or have you forgotten that little ring you're wearin-“ He looked at her hand where the ring usually was.
“Where's you're ring.” He asked her quietly. Kagome looked away biting her lip, “I…left it on my dresser because I didn't want to lose it tonight.” She lied, hoping he couldn't hear the light tremor in her voice as she struggled to make it sound as convincing as possible.
He just nodded and let her go turning back to look out the windshield. “Alright. Kagome. Please at least tune it down with you're stunts. I don't think Rin, Sango, you're family, or me want to have to go to you're funeral.” His tone told her that the conversation was over and that she should leave now.
Kagome felt she should say something else before she left, but she wasn't sure what. She felt bad about causing him so much pain but she knew that it would cause him greater pain if she broke off the engagement. It would cause everyone pain if she did. Her family loved Kouga like a son, her friends loved him as a brother almost, and she…was supposed to love him as a lover. But she couldn't.
“I'm sorry. I really am.” She murmured before stepping out into the night and walking up the walkway to the house. She heard him crank the car and drive away as she opened the door and stepped through into the warm interior of her house.
Sango and Rin were sitting at the bar in the kitchen munching on some apples when she walked in. They looked up at her expectantly, waiting for her to divulge what had happened after they left, but she just shook her head and muttered about telling them tomorrow before climbing up the stairs to her room and collapsing on her bed, happy that it was Friday and she didn't have class the next morning.
Sighing, Kagome stared up at her ceiling going over the events of the night in her mind. Why did she do such crazy things he had asked? Because it was the only thing that made her feel as if she had some type of control. It was rather stupid what they did tonight. She admitted that, but it was exhilarating at the same time.
Why couldn't she just love Kouga? It would make everything so easy. It felt like her relationship was a puzzle with every single piece but one fitting together. Her family loved Kouga and wanted them together, her friends loved him as well and accepted him into their lives as if he was already married to her. If she did love him then they could get married, mate, have children, and just have the absolute perfect life together. Everything fit but one thing. Her. Her life seemed as if it was meant for someone else. She just didn't fit into the equation. Her piece was made to fit into another puzzle, not this one.
Maybe she should just run away? The idea was tempting as ever. But she couldn't bring herself to abandon everyone with no explanation whatsoever. They deserved better than that. Not to mention she had to finish school. And no other college was likely to accept a 19-year-old runaway.
Kagome shook her head and closed her eyes. She would just have to deal with it. After all, what was her own happiness compared to her loved ones? They were happy with her relationship with Kouga and that's all that mattered right? Well it was enough to satisfy her mind for the night while she lulled herself into a comatose sleep.
