Chapter 2: The Meeting

Kagome was jumping for joy, she was going to have a boyfriend in the 12th grade, and he was hot too, oh, she had to call all of her friends, and tell them the great news. She called Yuka, who called Sango, who called Kagura, who told Kanna who told,… let’s just say, almost all the girls in the 11th grade knew, about Kagome’s new, and hopeful long lasting boyfriend, before the end of the night.


The next day came so...quickly, and the classes passed quickly also. Well, It was here, Lunch, kagome forgot about her lunch, and went right over to the 12th graders table with, a few of her buddies: Sango, and Kagura. When they got there, a boy just stood up and took Kagome’s hand, and sat her beside him... but she couldn’t catch a glimpse of his face. He introduced her to the other guys. so she was convinced it was Inuyasha. He had a very deep handsome voice. Kagura and Sango were seated beside a guy with cool spiky hair, and were blushing half to death. Kagome gathered up her courage and asked the guy, who know had his arm around her, which was actually not that bad. She asked him “Um, do you know were Inuyasha is” he then looked at her with dark blue eyes, a look she would never forget.
“Yes I'm Him you got a problem with that? Am I as ugly as you thought I was going to be?” Kagome was starting to turn bright red of blushing.


She was so close to Inuyasha, almost on his chest and lap, she just looked at him as if she wanted to kiss him... desperately, all the guys and girls including Sango, and Kagura were thinking the same things 'Boy she’s got it bad' one of the boys went ahead and said
“If you want to kiss him so badly, you could go right on ahead, Inu will let you” with that, he pushed Kagome toward Inuyasha. Inuyasha just put out his hand to stop her, Kagome pulled away just in time to resist Inuyasha’s hand. Kagome fell on the floor. She slowly got up and looked at Inuyasha madly. Tears were streaming down her face and ran of yelling behind her
“INUYASHA YOU JERK!!!…” all the guys started to laugh, as Sango and Kagura ran after Kagome. The guys turned around to congratulate Inuyasha on chasing away that puny 11th grader, but were was he? Had he gone to that hot chick to try to cheer her up ?, no, he wasn’t there, were was he? Inuyasha had already left to his next class so he wouldn’t have to confront Kagome face to face. He didn’t talk the rest of the day either. He saw Kagome a few times, and she saw him, but they never made eye... or body contact. When they got home, they checked there mail, but... nothing, so they just shut the computer.


The weekend passed very slowly. Inuyasha couldn’t take it any more, he wrote to Kagome.


· Hey I know your probably furious at me and I’ll understand if you can never talk to me again but I just wanted to let you know that you’ll always hold a place in my heart and If you can find it in the goodness of your heart to forgive me I’ll be there to comfort you Kagome. (inuyasha)
· Inuyasha sent it, Kagome got it because she was watching Inuyasha typing it out on his mailing list to her
·Kagome then wrote back
· Hey (kagome)

·Huh? I didn’t know you were on the internet (inuyasha)
·well ya I am (kagome)
·well I’ll just go know cause obviously you don’t wanna talk (inuyasha)
·oh I do (kagome)
·about what? (inuyasha)
·what happened on Friday at the table you know how that weird guy pushed me towards you. (kagome)
·Ya. (inuyasha)
·well, why were you going to stop me from kissing you? (kagome)
·I didn’t know if you wanted to cause ya I did but you’re a women and women can be very awkward sometimes on who they want and don’t want to kiss they can change there minds quickly like you just did I’ll bet you any money that you were having second thoughts about kissing me then you decided yes but by then it was too late so I’m sorry pink kitty but I’ve already made up with Kikyo and you wouldn’t kiss me anyway right? (inuyasha)
·Um ya right No what am I saying I do I mean I will oh I’d kiss you as long as you were kind to me, and loved me like you love Kikyo. (kagome)
· Wo, wo, wo, hold on a minute Kagome... me and kikyo are not! a couple anymore, and also... that’s a big step, were not going to be a couple, so don’t get to excited. If I wanted to, I could dump you because you’re a pretty faced girl who knows nothing about love or life, but unlike other men, I see more to you than just makeup and clothes that are quite hot on you... I see a beautiful young woman that is desiring a man to hold and love her, which I’m Ok by but are you? (inuyasha)
·Ya I’m Ok Why (kagome)
·because I don’t know if your ready or not for a long term relationship with a man you’ve just met at school. (inuyasha)
·oh I am I’m dyeing for you and mourning for your touch (kagome)
·you are, are you? (inuyasha)
· “Oh my god what was I thinking I told him I want him but why?”

· Kagome you still there? (inuyasha)

·Oh ya why (kagome)
·I asked you a question, are you dying for me? (inuyasha)
·Uhh… Ya, I am, actually, I want you, I need you, but… your already taken buy Kikyo. So I’ll leave you two alone, forever. (inuyasha)
·Hey I already told you we're not a couple!!! (inuyasha)
·wait don’t go don’t leave me (inuyasha)
·Why do you sound so sad Inuyasha? (kagome)
· I don’t want to lose you Kagome, I don’t know what I’d do with out you. (inuyasha)
·Oh really (kagome)
·Yup. (inuyasha)
·But why? (kagome)
·because It's boring around here with out you. Now about that Kiss... (inuyasha)
·so you’re using me? (kagome)
·No I already told you I'm sorry, and I don't want to use you, why do you say that? (inuyasha)
·I don’t know but I know there’s a way for every guy to use a women just because you’re kind and sweet doesn’t mean you’ll stay like that for ever (kagome)
·If you know me well enough you’d know I’d never leave you (inuyasha)

·And with that Inuyasha logged off. He thought over what he had told her, and decided he’d ask her tomorrow, if she loved him back, and if she was still mad at him... also apologize to her about the other day.
·It was Tuesday afternoon, and he hadn’t seen Kagome any where. He asked her friends, but they all just blushed and walked away, you could tell they liked Inuyasha too. Just as bad... well not as bad, but just as bad as Kagome did. All the girls knew Kagome was hiding in the detention room for talking out at class, but they didn’t tell Inuyasha that. After school Inuyasha caught kagome just before she turned the corner before her house. He came up behind her, and just grabbed her waist, but she kept on trying to get away. Finally Inuyasha let go, and she fell at his feet, he then told her to get up... but she didn’t. Inuyasha cautiously bent down to lift her up he got his hands around her neck and legs he slowly lifted her up and set her right on her feet. He then picked up her things and walked over to her side and asked her "Are you Ok?"
·"yaa I’m fine."
·"Are you still mad at me?"
·"No."
·"so did you love me in return?"
·"I don’t know Inuyasha"... she was looking at him again with those 'wanting to kiss him eyes' again. He looked right back at her, Kagome then thought he was going to kiss her.

· He then asked her if she wanted him to walk her to her house. She then looked at him puzzled, "Sure."
·"Good let’s go." When they got to Kagome’s house, she offered him to come inside, but he refused to meet her parents. "Come on Inuyasha."
·"No…" he handed her, her books and started to walk away, when he felt a hand on his shoulder, it was Kagome?
·"What do you want?"
·"To ask you, if you’d say good buy properly."
·"And how is that, proper way?"
·"Oh maybe a hug or even..." Kagome trailed off, and was suddenly shocked, at the feeling of Inuyasha’s lips against hers. Her only reaction was to kiss him back. Kagome’s mom saw this, and wasn’t to pleased with Kagome... and her new found 'boy friend' , did they really love each other that much, for Kagome to let this boy... her parents didn’t even know about... till know, kiss her? Well let’s see... Kagome and Inuyasha’s kiss was interrupted by Kagome’s mom yelling at her to get to her room, they were going to have a talk about Kagome’s new found 'boy friend' Kagome went red and grabbed her books, and went inside. Inuyasha then walked home to his apartment room. And went to his computer, and wrote to kagome.


· I promise I’ll make it up to you... tomorrow night, at the club down the street. I'll personally take you, even if it means... asking your parents face to face, if they’d approve of me being your boyfriend, and taking you to a club...that late. (inuyasha)

·Kagome had a talk with her mom about Inuyasha, and was afraid to ask if she’d approve of him. "Well see you mom..."
·"Where you going dear?"
·"I’m going out for a walk and might go to Sango’s for a while."
·"Ok be home for supper... if you’re going to be late please call, Buy!!! Kagome went running off to Sango’s and asked her if she knew were Inuyasha lived, she said,
·"Ya... why?"
·"Cause I want to visit him."
·"Ohh what you going to do?"
·"That’s none of your business."
·"Will you tell me."
·"Fine! just tell me how to get there".
·"He lives on Centennial Pkwy. Apt. # 1983, floor 5, room # 501."
·"Good, buy."
·"Hey, don’t forget to tell me everything that happens… buy!!!"

· Kagome arrived in five minutes. She went in, and went to the elevator up to floor five, and went to the door that had the number... 501 on it. She knocked... all of a sudden she heard footsteps coming What if it wasn’t him, what if it was some one else, what would she say, Sorry wrong door? What would she say if it was him? Hi. Could she just lounge at him and kiss him and get with him?... No. She couldn’t not yet, the door opened, Inuyasha was there quite surprised to see Kagome there, how’d she find out where he lived? "Hi."
·"Hi" she said in a high nervous voice.
·"What are you doing here?"
·"Um I just came to see you, and ask you if you can come over for supper tonight."
·"Sure, why if it’s that important to you, than ya I’ll do it." Kagome couldn’t help it she wanted him, and he wanted to get with her more than anything. She went on her tip toes and tried to kiss him but he backed away.
·"What are you doing?"
·"I thought that guy said you’d let me kiss you."
·"Well that guy proved you wrong girl."
·"Girl?"
·"Ya, is that Ok that you’re my girl?"
·"Um, as long as you’re my guy I’m fine with it."
·'phew she almost got mad at me for calling her my girl I thought she would be furious at me.'
·"Great, so... see you at 7:00 p.m."
·"see ya."

· 7:00 came fast, and Kagome was getting worried that something happened to Inuyasha. Kagome had got his phone number from the phone book, she started dialing the number, when she heard a knock at her door. No one she knew in her house ever knocked, maybe it was Inuyasha. “Kagome you in there? Are you descent? Can I come in?"
·"Yes, yes, and yes."
·"K….." he entered her room, it smelled just like Kagome did. Sweet like a rose. The best feature was the beautiful young woman sitting on the bed in the corner. She wore a pink little spaghetti strapped shirt, and a black mini skirt, which displayed her sexii thin legs which were very feminine looking. She had black leather high heals on and dark make-up she looked like she was Gothic or something, that was the best way to describe her outfit. Inuyasha had a white T on, which you could see his awesome muscles and ab’s, he had a black leather jacket on... zipped up half way, and he had baggy blue jeans on. His black hair looked just cleaned, and he had tanned skin Kagome thought he looked very, sexii! Inuyasha and Kagome headed down stairs for supper. Even her mom thought he looked very handsome (I guess it runs in her family...lol...). Though she didn’t approve of Kagome’s outfit.
