Chapter 2

The early morning sun shone through the bedroom window stirring awake a silver haired male. He slowly sat up and stretched his arms out above his head then looked down at his lover sleeping beside him. A small smile plays across his slightly tanned cheeks as he began to slowly stroke his cheek.

 

“Saïx… Babe come on get up” Xemnas speaks softly as he runs his fingers across Saïx's mouth. Saïx pulls away and pulls the duvet up more to cover his face.

 

“Hn... Why are you so nice to me in the morning and when we are on our own but a complete bastard as soon as anyone else is around?” Saïx asks as he sits up reluctantly. Xemnas raises his eyebrows at him causing a chuckle to erupt from Saïx.

 

“Fine no `Good morning love did you sleep well?' And for your information I have a reputation to uphold thank you very much… Now I have to pick up your nephew today and you promised Sephiroth you would go into the city with him today and it is almost ten o'clock so get that sorry arse of yours out of bed and into that shower and I will make breakfast” Xemnas says as he leans in and kisses Saïx on the cheek.

 

“Oh were getting there… The demanding side has began” Saïx laughed as he watched Xemnas roll his eyes and climb out of bed and pull on a pair of black jeans from the floor.

 

“Just get your arse in the shower love and I will wake the boys up and make breakfast okay” Xemnas says as he runs his hand through his tangled hair and walks out of the room. He walks down the hallway to the furthest room and knocks on the door.

 

“Riku are you up yet?” he says. He waits a minute then after receiving no reply he opens the door and steps into the room only to find it empty.

 

“Ah you bastard stop doing that its cheating… Ah fuck!” shouts a voice from downstairs. Xemnas exits the room and heads down the stairs and into the lounge to find Riku sat on the floor leaning against the couch which Sephiroth was sat on whilst playing a video game.

 

“Riku I would appreciate it if language like that was not used in this house... Now turn that off and you can go and set the table for breakfast. Sephiroth, Saïx is getting ready so please be ready for him when he wishes to leave” Xemnas speaks. Riku throws the control on the floor and storms off into the kitchen. Sephiroth nods towards his father and turns off the television and picks up the controls Riku and himself were using and sets them away. Xemnas walks into the kitchen where he finds Riku setting the table whilst mumbling angrily to himself.

 

“Is there actually anything you don't complain about?” Xemnas says as he collects some eggs from the fridge and places them on the counter as he pulls out a bowl from the cupboard above to make pancakes.

 

“Oh bite me!” Riku replies as he throws the knives and forks onto the floor causing his father to stop what he is doing.

 

“You really need a new come back. That is getting predictable and very tiring” Xemnas says as he continues to make the breakfast. Riku picks up the knives and forks and throws them onto the table and turns back to his father.

 

“Fine I will say fuck me instead okay” Riku replies sarcastically. Xemnas rolls his eyes and turns to face his youngest son again.

 

“That's what you have Sora for plus that would be incest and I very much prefer Saïx thank you so I will have to pass” Xemnas replies bluntly as he continues with breakfast again. Sephiroth walks into the room laughing.

 

“No that's what he had Sora for he doesn't anymore” Sephiroth says as he strolls over to the table and sits down with an evil smirk towards his brother.

 

“Sora dump you then Riku? Get back at him with his older brother, I know if I was younger I would” Xemnas says with a grin on his face. Sephiroth laughs causing Riku to give him an evil glare.

 

“I already have and I tell you he's good… But no Riku dropped Sora, heard him on the phone last night. Riku has a new fuck buddy in mind now” Sephiroth says causing his father to turn around and give him a questioning look.

 

“For fuck sake are you all mucked up…? All this family ever thinks about is sex… I should have gone and lived with mom… I am going to go over to Clouds and have breakfast there… I can't stick this” Riku says as he walks from the kitchen causing both Sephiroth and Xemnas to laugh.

 

“I am guessing that this new interest you were referring to is Cloud by that rather subtle statement” Xemnas says as he places a pancake on Sephiroth's plate.

 

“Yeah… Still think Cloud has nothing on his older brother Zack… Okay he nice and everything but god is he naïve” Sephiroth says. Xemnas laughs.

 

“Then again Riku never has had the best taste in partners has he I mean don't get me wrong Sora is a great kid but he acts too innocent and it's slightly annoying. I have to say Kairi has been Riku's best catch so far she is a lovely young woman not that it lasted long and it was pretty obvious that both Riku and Kairi had a fixation with Sora” Xemnas replies. Saïx walks into the kitchen and sits down at the table as Xemnas places a pancake on the plate in front of him. Saïx strokes his hand down Xemnas's bare chest and kisses him on the lips in thanks.

 

“Your not talking about Riku again are you? You really ought to give that kid a break. You seem to love teasing him and you can't seem to be able to see how much it bothers him, does his happiness mean anything to you two?” Saïx says as he begins to eat. Sephiroth nods and continues to eat his pancake.

 

“That kid brings it upon himself he says something and can't face it when we comment on it… He knows full well that I both love him and that I am extremely proud of him…” Xemnas says as he looks over to the clock.

 

“I have to go pick up Zexion so I will leave or I will be late so I am going to have a shower, get dressed and leave… I shall see you both later… Have fun shopping” Xemnas says as he kisses Saïx on the lips and heads out of the room.

 

“Zexion's coming round?” Sephiroth speaks as he stands up and takes his empty plate to the sink. Saïx nods and Sephiroth rolls his eyes in annoyance.

 

“Great now I have to put up with two miserable teenagers that when together cause me to want to grab a knife and drive it through their skulls” Sephiroth says in annoyance. Saïx laughs as he puts his knife and fork down.

 

“I promised my brother that he could come over so he and his wife could have a holiday… I know how he and Riku get but I am sure it will not be too bad… I was going to leave in an hour if you still want to go into the city. We can either take the car or just walk to the ferry” Saïx says as he takes his plate over and places it on top of Sephiroth's.

 

“Okay thanks Saïx I know it means a lot to my father that we get on. If only Riku could understand that as well… Well I shall go get ready to go okay I shall meet you by the car as I would rather drive to be honest, less to carry” Sephiroth explains as he walks out of the kitchen. Saïx follows him out and sits in the living room and turns on the television.
