Lynn/Happy: =__= Pretty much, yeah.
Look at the chapter comments/notes up at the top for the short version. Long version is something like this:
I keep losing my betas. They have lives of their own, filled with projects that are important to them, school, jobs, everything. Some of them are sick, some of them have just. . . . vanished on me. . . Right now all of my betas are out of commission.
So I need help, from anyone willing to give it. Understand that I at least need you to proofread and catch my grammar mistakes. At most? I will need you to be more like an editor to bounce ideas off of. In that case I'll need you to call me on logic errors, plot-holes and broken laws of physics/me contradicting myself.
And I like having more than one beta for situations . . . slightly less chaotic than this. Usually three betas from all across America (at the least) don't get sick all at the same time. Usually I have at least one person around to help turn my chapter over. And while I can beta things on my own, I'm never sure of myself, and I tend to lose the forest in all of the trees.
Hope to hear something from the readers (on either site) soon. If not. . . I'll have to go hunting on `beta boards'.
