Betwixt and Between

Things are not always what they seem.
Love and friendship hide in eyes of green.
Not a foe, but a true friend
Revealed in Betwixt and Between.
The birthmarks of a race long dead
Tears unshed, but there all the same
Heartless, yet with loyalty
To one no other heart could tame.
Fiercely loyal to his best friend.
Against the Heartless cold as ice
To help the one he called a friend
With his fiery sacrifice.
Revealed a friend and not a foe
His friendship shone in eyes of green
As fading he at last was lost
To dakrness in Betwixt and Between.
