Child Of The Radiant Garden
-Chapter Two-
A month went by and Riku grew more
despondent. Nobody knew about the attack.
Not even Sora. But both Sora and Kairi
could tell that something was wrong with
their friend.
They were having dinner when there was a
knock on the door.
Sora got up and answered it.
"Your majesty!" he cried out, happily
surprised, as the King stood at the front
door. "Come inside."
The King stepped across the threshold and
waved to Kairi and Riku. "Good to see you
all again." he said, cheerfully.
"What's happening at Radiant Garden?" Sora
asked.
"We've finally finished the restoration," the
King replied. "Leon's father showed up by some
miracle shortly after. He's really happy about
that. And Maleficent is pregnant."
Riku fainted.
Sora helped his friend to the sofa and got him
a glass of water.
Riku sipped gratefully, then stared down at the
glass.
"Riku," Kairi said, gently, "perhaps it's time
you told us what's been bothering you for the
past month."
Riku said nothing for a moment, then he looked
up. "Maleficent is carrying my child," he told
them. "She raped me a month ago."
Then he broke down and cried on Sora's shoulder
until his tears subsided. "I couldn't tell anyone.
She threatened to kill my mom if I told. I couldn't
let mom get hurt."
King Mickey nodded. "Are you okay now?" he asked.
"Not really," Riku admitted. "I don't think I'll ever
be all right again."
-Chapter Two-
