Kairi runs down the beach trying to loom for her best friend. She runs up to the dock because she has a hunch he’ll be there. When she reaches the dock, she stops to catch her breath.

“Sora!” she says excitedly. The brunette-hair boy didn’t turn around.

“Hey Kai.” he says, staring at the sunset. Kairi frowned, but sat beside of him.

“What’s wrong Sora?” Kairi asked concerned. Sora just kept staring at the sun.

“It’s nothing. I’m just thinking.” he said. Kairi didn’t buy it. She just sat there, thinking of what could be on his mind.

After awhile Sora took off hi shirt (AHH!! HE’S SO HOT!! -falls over anime style-) and jumped in the water. Kairi was in the splash zone and got soaked to the bone. “Sora!” she shrieked. He just chuckled and pulled the unsuspecting red-head in the water. She surfaced quickly and spit out some water.

“What was that for!!?” she was pissed but she couldn’t hide the blush that covered her cheeks. Sora laughed a little but stopped before his sides started to hurt.

“It’s not funny.” Kairi mumbled as she tried to stay above the water. Sora looked down sadly.

“Sorry Kai.” he apologized before swimming away. Kairi felt a little guilty. She swam after the brunette to apologize but when she reached the shore, he was gone. She got out of the water and looked around the island for about ten minutes. Kairi gave up after not being able to find him. Again.

Frush Frush FRUSH

Kairi turned around to locate the source of the sound. Nothing was there. She sighed and started to turn around until something rushed into the secret cave, her and Sora discovered. She rushed up to the opening of the cave and barely fit through the opening. When she reached the bigger part of the cave, she stood up and dusted off. Kairi was too busy to notice a handsome boy staring at her.

“Kai?” Sora’s voice was all crackly. She turned to look at him.

“Kairi what are you-- Oomph!” he stumbled backwards as a red-haired girl was clung to his waist. He blushed.

“Sora. I’m sorry I made you feel bad!” she apologized through her sobs. He rubbed her back soothingly.

“It’s okay Kai.” Sora tried to reassure her. It didn’t.

“No it’s not!! I made you feel bad and I feel horrible!!” she mumbled into his chest. He rolled his eyes and stroked her hair to calm her down. It helped. After awhile, Kairi finally stopped crying and was only whimpering. Sora stood up and helped the beautiful red-head up. Kairi smiled and wiped the rest of the tears away with the back of her hand. Sora grinned (not his cheesy grin…yet) a small grin. When the two were almost to the exit, Sora felt a pain in his chest.

“AHH!!” he yelled in pain while he gripped his chest.

“Oh no!! Sora!!” Kairi yelled as she knelt beside of the hurt teen. She tried to hold back the tears that threatened to fall but failed. Sora had his eyes closed but had a little slit to keep an eye on Kairi.

“Aww. She’s pretty kiddo.” a voice in Sora’s head said, “ too bad she’s gotta die.” That was it. Sora’s eyes shot open and he started to rip at the black ooze covering him. Kairi stood up and summoned ‘Oathkeeper’ to make sure she defended herself if anything happened.

“S-Sora!!?” Kairi stuttered as her crush was being covered in darkness. Sora looked up at her while he still ripped at the ooze.

“Kairi! Get out of here!!” he yelled. He didn’t want anything to happen to his crush. Kairi stayed put and shook her head violently.

“No!!” she screamed angrily. She was not about to leave Sora’s side. He was proud of her bravery. After a while, he had finished ripping the darkness off of him, but passed out shortly after. Kairi’s legs gave out and she fell on the ground and crawled over to Sora. He was unconscious, so she pulled a mega-potion from her belt pouch. She knew carrying one would come in handy.

“Please work.” she prayed as she poured the bitter tasting liquid into Sora’s mouth. She messaged his throat to get him to swallow. Sora shot up quickly, caughing and trying to catch his breath. Kairi hugged him as soon as he had caught his breath.

“K-Kairi?” the girl in Sora’s arms looked up.

“Yeah?” she asked. He had a scared look on his face.

“We need to tell the king about this.“ he was shaking and so was Kairi. Kairi nodded. Sora got up and helped Kairi up. They got out of the cave and went over to a giant vine wall. Both of the teens pulled the vines off of a metal object underneath. Sora noticed that Kairi looked distant.

“You okay Kai?” he asked. She was still distant.

“Hmm…..” she mumbled.

“You seem off Kairi. Are you okay?” he waved a hand in front of her face. She looked at him.

“Sorry. I was thinking.” she started to pull vines off again. She blushed while Sora kept staring at her.

“Well don’t think too much Kairi. It’ll hurt your brain!” he grinned his awesome cheesy grin. Kairi giggled.

After a couple minutes of pulling, cursing, and falling, they finally got the gummi revealed. They got into the ship and sat down. Sora sat in the pilot’s chair, while Kairi sat in the co-pilot’s chair. Sora started the ship and noticed Kairi was shaking. He chuckled because he knew Kairi was scared of flying. Sora turned on the gummi and took off. Kairi had a death grip on the armrest that was connected to her seat.

“Kairi. You can open your eyes now.” Sora said softly. When Kairi opened her eyes she stared out the window and looked at all of the worlds they passed on their way to the kingdom. They were having a good time until Sora almost hit a meteor.

“Sora!! You almost killed us!!” Kairi was shaking. Sora was just laughing nervously.

“Kairi I would never let anything hurt you.” Sora blushed at his sentence. Kairi averted her gaze to the floor then looked up.

“I know you won’t.” she gave a small smile. Sora stood up and walked over to Kairi. He knelt next to her and started leaning towards her. She leaned towards him and they met in a small kiss. Kairi wrapped her arms around his neck. They separated after awhile and Kairi was blushing extremely hard. Sora sat down in the pilot’s seat and started to drive.

“Hold on Kairi.” Sora said as he was staring out the window.

“What’s wrong?” she asked.

“Meteor fields!” he yelled as he avoided a giant meteor. Kairi didn’t buckle up quickly enough and was thrown against the wall. She screamed out in pain as she hell the wounded arm. When Sora got them out of the field he went to help Kairi.

“I’ll go get a potion!” he rushed into a little storage room. Ten minutes passed and Sora still wasn’t back.

‘Where is he? It doesn’t take ten minutes to get a potion.’ Kairi thought. After another ten minutes, Kairi was worried. She got up and found a clean cloth hanging on the seats for passengers. She ripped the rag into a small strip and tied it around her arm. Kairi walked into the room Sora had entered twenty minutes ago. She stopped dead in her tracks. On the floor in front her was Sora. He was covered in darkness.

“S-Sora!?” Kairi summoned ‘Oathkeeper’ and got into a defense stance. Sora’s head came up and he had a huge evil grin on his face.

“What’s wrong princess?” the dark Sora asked. Tears rimmed Kairi’s eyes but she didn’t let them fall. That would show weakness.

“W-who are-are y-y-you!?” Kairi shouted. Sora gave a small grin, showing off his fangs. Kairi flinched.

“Who am I?” Sora said raising an eyebrow, “I am Sora’s darkness.” Something inside of Kairi was telling her to use a light spell. She didn’t know what it was but she knew it was right. She stood up straight and lifted the oversized key above her head.

“LIGHT!!” Kairi yelled. The light started to rip at the darkness off of Sora. He fell to his knees.

“No!!” Sora’s voice was becoming his own again.

“LIGHT!!” the spells were wearing her out so she fell to her knees also. The voice in her head kept telling her to send another spell. She nodded.

“LIGHT!!” The last light spell took away all of Kairi’s strength. She passed out and someone started to call out her name.

Kairi woke up but didn’t open her eyes. Someone was beside her calling out her name but she couldn’t register who’s it was. After awhile Kairi decided it was a good idea to open her eyes. She was startled at who was beside her.

“Sora?” Sora’s head shot up.

“Kairi!” he hugged the confused and blushing teen, “I thought you’d never wake up!”

Sora had been sitting next to Kairi’s bed for two days to see if she would come to. Two days! He had brought her to Disney Castle after waking up on the gummi.

“S-Sora…..” Kairi tried to talk. Sora let go of Kairi and sat back down.

“You should rest Kairi.” Sora said. Kairi just shook her head.

“I’m not tired.” she looked around, “Where are we?”

“Disney Castle.” he gave a short answer. Kairi gave a small smile and kissed his cheek. Sora looked at Kairi then looked down. He wiped tears that had fallen. Kairi put her hand on Sora’s cheek.

“Can we start where we left off?” Kairi asked innocently. Sora chuckled. They kissed and it ended up becoming a make out session.

Riku sat on the giant clock tower, figuring out how to get out of the World That Never Was. He had been sitting there for a long while thinking about his family, friends, and his crush…….Kairi.

“Why do you like Sora? Asked no one imparticular, “I would always be there for you. Not like Sora.” he sighed. Riku got up and opened a portal. He stepped in and the portal disappeared.

& #8220;Sora…” Kairi sighed shaking him, “Sora wake up!” Sora moaned and moved his head over. Kairi sighed again.

“SORA!!” Kairi screamed out of frustration. Sora had fallen asleep her. Sora’s head shot up and he looked around frantically.

“WHAT!!?? What’s wrong!!” Kairi giggled.

“Sora you fell asleep on me.” Sora blushed.

“Sorry Kai,” Sora started, “I’ve been awake for two days.” he yawned. Kairi looked at Sora shocked.

“You didn’t have to stay up for me,” Kairi moved over, “Come on.” she patted the spot beside her. Sora looked at her confused. Kairi rolled her eyes and sighed.

“Get up here you lazy bum.” Sora hesitated for moment but got in the bed.

“Thanks Kai.” he said sleepily while wrapping his arm around her waist. She blushed but put her head back on the pillow. “You’re welcome.” she didn’t get a reply. She fell asleep shortly after.

K airi was waking up when she realized she wasn’t in her infirmary bed anymore.She sat up quickly when she realized she was moving. She blinked a few times to clear her vision when she saw that she was in the gummi. She looked around frantically.

“Sora!?”

“Yeah Kai?” said Sora as he walked in the room. Kairi sighed and smiled.

“Nothing but why are we in the ship?” Sora frowned. “The cornerstone is broken.” he had a concerned look on his face. Kairi raised a brow in confusion.

“Whadda ya mean broken?” Kairi was so confused. Sora sighed.

“The king said it broke because of a strong dark presence.” he shrugged. Kairi swung her legs around the bed but regretted it the second she had started.She had started falling when she stood up.

“Kairi!” Sora said catching her before she fell. He sat Kairi down on thw bed gently. He gave her a potion to help with any pain.

“Kai?” Sora asked concerned. Kairi was hearing a voice calling her name but she couldn’t open her mouth to answer.

‘Earth to Kairi.’ a voice in her head was calling.

‘Kairi?’ a girl asked, ‘Who‘s that?’

‘That‘s you. You’re Kairi.’ the voice answered.

‘So….my name’s Kairi?’ she asked.

‘Yes,’ the voice giggled, ‘you’re Kairi.’ Kairi looked around and noticed she was falling in darkness. After awhile of falling, she finally felt something under her feet. Kairi looked around and then looked down. She was standing on a pedestal but the stainglass picture was of someone she knew all too well.

‘Who’s he?’ Kairi asked the voice in her head.

‘Him? That’s Sora,’ she smiled wickedly, ‘The boy you’re dating.’ she tried to stiffle a giggle. Kairi
blushed and smiled.

‘Thanks Namine, but you really need to quit trying to chaining my memories.’ Kairi could swear Namine was blushing. Kairi was giggling at the cursing girl…Er…Nobody in her head. She suddenly felt dizzy and started to fall back into darkness. Kairi felt something soft under her body.

“Kairi!?” someone was calling her name. Kairi’s eyes fluttered open and she looked around.

“Where am I?” she asked, holding her head and sitting up. Kairi looked up at the source of the voice. She blinked a few times to adjust her eyes to the light.

“S-Sora?” she asked still trying to adjust to the light.

“Yeah Kai?” Sora asked happily. Kairi smiled and hugged Sora tightly.

“I’m so glad you’re here.” she said crying.

“I’ll always be here…..with you.” he said stroking Kairi’s hair. Kairi smiled and looked into Sora’s eyes. He leaned in towards her face.

“Kai,” he said moving closer, “I love you.” he kissed her. Kairi kissed Sora back and moaned into his mouth. She was in paradise when she felt something tug at her heart. She opened her eyes to meet amber ones. She jumped backwards and landed gracefully on the floor.

“Sorry to startle you, princess, but buddy boy here was starting to turn to light.” antiform smiled a toothy smile. Kairi summoned ‘Oathkeeper’ and attacked Sora’s antiform.

“What the hell do you want!?” she yelled angrily.

“Aww. Princesses shouldn’t use that kind of language.” he said in a mocking tone.

“I don’t care what I should act like right now! I just want Sora back!!”she was pissed.

“ So you just want your loverboy back?” he said evilly. Kairi was still attacking antiform when someone appeared beside her.

“Kairi!! Look out!!” the person shouted. Kairi dodged antiform’s attack and looked at the person helping her. She instantly knew who it was because the person had the same keyblade as her and that person is……..

“Namine!!” Kairi yelled at her Nobody. Namine hit antiform in the side with her key blade. She ran over to Kairi to use a special ’Light’ move (lol!! Death Note..).

“Kairi!!” the Nobody yelled to get her attention. Kairi looked up and her eyes widened. Antiform was catching up to Namine at a very fast pace. Kairi threw ‘Oathkeeper’ at the heartless and it struck his stomach.

“Hurry Namine!” she yelled horrified.

“I’m coming!” the Nobody yelled back. Antiform was struggling with the oversized key.

“That really hurt, princess.” antiform breathed out (if he could breath). Kairi smiled slightly at antiform.

“Sorry but I had to protect my friend.” She said smartly. Namine looked at Kairi confused.

“You think of me as a friend?” Kairi smiled and nodded.

“Yep. Trust me okay?” she looked at Namine holing out her hand.

“I trust you.” she nodded and took Kairi’s hand. As soon as Namine touched it, she disappeared. Kairi started floating until she was a foot off the ground. Kairi started to be engulfed by a giant bubble of light.

‘What is that girl doing?’ antiform asked Sora.

‘She’s saving me.’ he said happily.

‘This ain’t good buddy boy.’ the heartless said shakily.

‘Why? Because you’re going to disappear?’ he said not surprised.

‘That’s it,’ the heartless started, ‘and you’ll feel the power again.’

‘I don’t ca-’ he was cut short by a giant light flashing around him.

“No!! This can’t be happening!!” antiform yelled falling to the ground. He looked up at Kairi.

“It can and it is.” the red headed princess said. She was glowing an unearthly glow. The darkness that was antiform was dripping off of the brunette keyblader. Kair rushed over to Sora and hugged him tightly then
kissed him for a good while.

“Oh Sora!!” she hugged him tightly, “I thought something was going to happen to you!” Sora hugged Kairi back.

“I thought something was going to happen to you Kai.” he said chuckling.

‘She looks like Namine!!’ a voice in Sora’s head yelled. “Huh?” Sora looked at Kairi up and down and smiled.

“Roxas is right. You look like Namine.” Kairi raised a brow and looked at her clothes.

“I guess you’re right.” she smiled.

‘Tell Sora to tell Roxas I said ‘hi’!!’ Namine giggled.

‘Tell him yourself.’ Kairi told Namine. Namine smiled. ‘Okay!’ Namine spread apart from Kairi.

“Hi!!” Namine said happily. Roxas appeared next to Namine and made her jump.

“Hey!” she yelled in surprise.

“Hey yourself.” Roxas said laughing at Namine. Kairi was laughing nervously at the two Nobodies arguing until Sora came over and wrapped his arms around her waist. She blushed and leaned against his chest.

“They act like an old married couple, don’t they Sora.” Kairi said giggling.

“Yep. They act like an old married couple.” he agreed. Roxas was moving closer to Namine. Namine was unaware of his actions and continued to argue.

“OMG!!” Kairi blushed.

“What is it Kai?” Sora asked. Kairi blushed darker and whispered in his ear. Sora blushed and grinned his
cheesy trademark grin.

“Guess we’re complete Kai.” Sora whispered in Kairi’s ear. Kairi blushed and looked back at the Nobody couple. Namine and Roxas were leaning towards each other until they finally met in a kiss.

“I guess we are.” Kairi agreed. Namine and Roxas were walking towards Sora and Kairi, holding hands.

“We should return to you or you’ll lose a lot of energy.” Namine said. “Yeah.” Kairi held out her hand to let Namine grab it. Namine grabbed Kairi’s hand and returned to Kairi ina flash of white lights. Roxas returned to Sora by both of them standing straight up. Roxass returned to Sora in a flash of light blue lights.

“I guess we better get going.” Sora said walking to the cockpit. Kairi sighed and looked around. ‘I guess I’ve got a Drive Form.’ she thought to herself.

Riku walked around his room; white walls, white furniture, white etc.. He was thinking of a way to escape The World That Never Was. He had been pacing back and forth until it hit him. Riku opened a portal and walked in. He didn’t expect to end up in a dark place. He walked around until he found a light switch and jumped at what he saw.

Sora and Kairi finished sharing a long kiss and noticed a figure in black. Kairi squinted her eyes to see if she could recognize the person. She jumped up and ran over to the figure.

“Riku!!” she yelled happily. Sora looked at Kairi confused then back to the figure.

“What did you say?” Sora asked extremely confused.

“Riku…….” she answered looking at Sora. “Come here.” she held out her hand. Sora got up and walked over to Kairi.

“Yeah?” Sora asked. Kairi held out Riku’s hand. Sora looked at Kairi, confused as ever. She sighed and rolled her eyes. “Take his hand. Trust me.” she asked lifting the hand a little.

“Okay Kai.” he said taking the hand.

“Now close your eyes.” she instructed. Sora closed his eyes and he noticed a real Riku standing in front of him.

“Riku?” Sora asked opening his eyes. “Yeah it’s me, Sora.” he said sadly. Kairi hugged Riku and cried softly. Riku patted her back and looked down at Kairi, smiling slightly. Kairi let go of Riku and smiled brightly.

“What are you thinking Kairi?” Riku asked. Stupid question.

“Light!” Kairi yelled. Riku fell on the ground in pain. He was engulfed by a giant pure ball of light. Kairi was still smiling as she could tell that Riku was becoming himself.

“Okay,” Kairi said breathlessly, “I hope it worked.” Sora was laying on the floor unconscious because of how strong the light was. Kairi giggles and threw a potion on him then walked over to Riku. The smile on her face was huge as she looked at the normal boy she’d come to know and love (she loves him like a brother!!).

“Welcome back Riku!!” she kept on smiling. Riku grunted and stood up.

“Good to be back.” he smiled.

“Oh and that’s what I was thinking.” she said walking towards Sora.

“Obviously.” he said rolling his eyes. When Kairi reached Sora, she shook him. “Wake up Sora.” Kairi sighed and cast a few Curaga spells. She waited for the spell to kick in. Riku walked over to Kairi and sat
down next to her. He looked over at Kairi.

“So you two are together?” he asked trying to cover up his sadness.

“Yeah I guess we are.” she said giving him a small smile. Riku looked at Sora and sighed. He was happy Kairi but was jealous towards Sora because he go the girl of his dreams.

“Sora!!” Kairi yelled hugging Sora. Sora blushed and hugged Kairi back.

“Damn Sora. You’ve changed.” Riku said crossing his arms.

“That a good thing?” Sora looked at Riku.

“Yeah that’s a good thing.” Riku said. Sora grinned his famous grin and stood up. He helped Kairi up and pulled her closer, putting an arm around her waist.

“We should get going.” the brunette said.

“Where to?” he asked hopping in the pilot’s seat.

“Radiant Garden!!” the red head said jumping up and down, “ I wanna see my brother! And see if they’re almost done restoring the place!” Sora chuckled. He typed in the coordinates for Radiant Garden.

“Buckle up because the warp-drive is powerful.” he said buckling up his seat belt.

“Trust me.” he mumbled. Kairi and Riku sat on a bench and buckled up.

“Ready!!” they yelled in unison.

“Okay! Hold on!!” Sora pressed the button for warp-drive and off they went.

Aerith ran over to the small group sitting in Merlin’s house. The group consists of; Leon, Yuffie, Cid, Cloud, and Merlin.

“Hey!!” Aerith said happily. Leon looked at Aerith and raised a brow.

“What are you so happy about?” he wondered why she was so cheery.

“I went to see Tron and he told me Sora landed earlier,” she started, “and he brought company.” she looked at Leon.

“Where is he now?” Leon asked.

“Where’s who?” a familiar voice come from the door. Leon looked over and saw Sora holding hand with his sister and a tall silver-haired person. Leon looked back over to Sora and Kairi and frowned even more (if its even possible). He got up and stood in front of the two teens.

“Hi Leon.” Kairi said hugging her older brother.

“Hey kid.” he said looking down at his sister. Kairi let go of Leon and put her hands on her hips with a frown on her face.

“I’m not a kid anymore.” she huffed and grabbed Sora’s hand. Leon had to smile at Kairi.

“That’s what I said when he called me that.” Sora said chuckling. Kairi blushed and looked at Sora.

“You’re joking right?” she had to ask.

“Nope!!” he said cheerfully. Kairi hid her tomato red face in her hands and groaned.

“I can’t believe I’m acting like my boyfriend.” she said to herself. Leon looked at the cherry-faced brunette boy and pulled him outside. Sora pulled his arm away from the grip Leon had on his arm.

“What was that for!?” Sora yelled.

“Keep your hands off my sister.” Leon growled.

“I don’t listen to you!!” Sora snapped (-cries anime style- what is wrong with Sora!?). He walked back inside. Leon gave him a death glare behind his back and followed him inside.

“What were you two talking about?” Kairi asked looking at Sora then Leon.

“Nothing.” Sora said smoothly. Kairi looked at Sora then glared at Leon. She go up and walked over to Leon.

“What did you tell him!?” Kairi whispered.

“Kairi,” Leon started, “I have a bad feeling about you hanging around him.” he said worriedly.

“Leon! I’m eighteen and I can hang around anyone I want to!” she whined. Leon smirked (wow that’s a first) at his sister’s bravery.

“Hey Kai?” Sora asked.

“Yeah Sora?” Kairi said looking at Sora.

“Wanna get some training done? I have the ‘Kingdom Key’ ready.” as he said that he summoned the over sized key.

“Oh ye--” Kairi was interrupted by Leon.

“My sister isn’t going to fight a master key blade weilder unarmed.” Leon grabbed Kairi’s shoulder ready to pull her away.

“I’m not unarmed Leon.” Kairi said rolling her eyes and pulled away.

“Where’s your weapon then?” Leon crossed his arms and raised a brow.

“Right here.” Kairi said happily, summoning ‘Oathkeeper.’ Leon started at Kairi amazed. His mouth was hanging open until Yuffie came over and closed it.

“Quit gawking Squall.” Yuffie crossed her arms.

“Quit calling me that Yuffie…it’s Leon.” Leon said, annoyed at the energizer bunny ( I do not own the energizer bunny) beside him. Kairi sighed.

“Let’s go Sora.” she said walking outside. Sora nodded and followed Kairi outside.

“Squall leave them alone.” Yuffie said looking at the annoyed brunette.

“Quit calling me that!” he yelled giving the hyperactive ninja a death glare.

“But that is your name so quit yelling at poor Yuffie.” Yuffie said crossing her arms in annoyance. (everyones annoyed….0_0;) Leon rolled his eyes and walked to his room.

“What’s eatin’ him?” Riku asked. Everyone glared at the silver-haired teen and glared. Everyone then rolled their eyes and walked to different parts of the little house.

“I’m glad to be outta there.” Kairi sighed in relief.

“Yeah me too.” Sora said lacing his hands behind his head. Kairi looked over at Sora then an idea popped into her head.

“Hey Sora?” Kairi looked at Sora.

“Yeah Kai?” Sora said looking at the red-head beside him.

“I wanna go see Olette, Pence, and Haynor!” she said as a smile tugged at her lips.(I know theyre from Twilight Town but it goes with the story..)

“You know them?” the brunette boy looked confused.

“Yeah. I met them after I escaped from Axel.” she said smiling.

“Cool!” he yelled happily.

“Come on you lazy bum!” Kairi yelled almost 30 feet away. Sora looked at Kairi than ran after her. She had the advantage from being a couple feet away until Sora caught up. He tackled her to the ground and straddled her hips.

“Uh……” Kairi blushed at their position. Sora looked down and blushed.

“Sorry.” he mumbled helping the red-head up.

“Aww. Sora’s got a girlfriend.” a familiar voice mocked.

“Shut it Haynor.” another familiar voice said. Sora had finished helping Kairi up. Kairi dusted some invisible dust off of herself and looked at the group in front of her. She smiled wide.

“Kairi!!” the voice yelled and hugged the red-head. Kairi stumbled backwards from the force of the hug.

“Hi Olette.” Kairi said, hugging Olette back. Sora smiled and pryed Olette off of Kairi.

“You’re going to squeeze the life out of her if you don’t quit with the death hugs.” he chuckled.

“Hey Sora.” Haynor and Pence said in unison.

“Hey guys.” Sora said waving with one hand and wrappping the other around Kairi’s waist.

“Ha!! I was right!!” Haynor started, “You do have a girlfriend!” he laughed. Sora growled lowly so no one could hear him. Kairi heard. She looked up at Sora’s unusually dark blue eyes. She was never scared of him, but right now……she was scared.

“Haynor!!” Olette yelled, punching his arm hard. And I mean hard!

“Dammit Olette! Where did you learn to hit like that?” Haynor said in a flirty voice. Olette blushed. Kairi looked up at Sora again. His eyes had a yellow hue to them but they weren’t completely yellow. She knew something was wrong and she wanted to get back to Merlin’s.

“We gotta go.” Kairi said, “ See ya guys!” she pulled Sora away. Olette, Pence, and Haynor looked confused.

Kairi was stuck in a dead end alley with a crazy heartless blocking her in. She was terrified. Sora had turned heartless again but he didn’t hurt her. No. He protected her.

“Don’t you love me?” the heartles asked sadly.

“I do but--” she was cut off.

“Then why won’t you let me kiss you?” he asked even sadder.

“Because you’re not yourself.’ she said softly.

“Kairi,” he started, “Look at me!!” he demanded more than begged. Kairi looked at the heartless in front of her. Tears threatened to fall as she looked at her lover. She then looked up into his eyes and noticed they were turnin blue. She had a smile play across her face.

“So you do want this.” he smiled a toothy grin. Kairi frowned and took his distraction and ran towards Merlin’s house. She had tears streaming down her face. It started to rain.

“Where are they!?” Leon yelled, ready to explode with anger.

“Calm down.” Yuffie said grabbing his arm tightly. Leon sighed.

“Thanks Yuffie.” he said hugging her.

“That’s what I’m here for.” she said softly, breathing in his scent. Riku rolled his eyes.

“Get a room you two.” he said. There was a scream coming from outside. When they got there, Sora (heartless) was protecting Kairi (unconscious) from a giant Malificent.

“Come on!” Riku yelled, ‘The Way To Dawn’ in his hand. Leon, Yuffie, Aerith, Cloud, and Merlin followed Riku to the battle ground.

Everyone except Sora was on their hands and knees trying to catch their breath. Sora did most of the fighting and he fought a good three hours straight. Now he was next to Kairi; kissing her, hugging her, and holding her.

“Sora?” Kairi asked with fluttery eyes.

“Yeah Kai?” Sora said looking into the red-head’s eyes.

“Come down here.” she said softly. Sora smiled and leaned in towards Kairi. Their lips met in a passionate kiss. The last one they’ll ever have for awhile. They broke apart and Kairi was crying.

“What’s wrong Kairi?” he asked worriedly.

“I’m sorry.” Kairi whispered sadly. Before Sora could ask what she meant by that, a key blade of light was struck at his chest and unlocked his heart. He looked down at a sobbing Kairi. She held the offending key blade in her hand and he smiled.

“I love you Kai.” he whispered before turning into little bubbles of light and floated away. Kairi released the key blade she held and started crying uncontrollably. Riku ran over and hugged her tightly.

“It’s okay Kai,” he started, “He’ll be back.” Kairi nodded.

“I know he will.” she gave him a small smile. The rest of the group walked over to Kairi and said their apologies. After a couple of miutes the group left.

“You okay now?” Riku asked concerned.

“Yeah I’ll be fine.” she gave him a reassuring smile.

“Okay,” he started, “Let’s go home.” Kairi shook her head.

“I am home.” she said smiling. Riku smiled and stood up.

“I’ll be seeing ya!” he said walking away. Kairi smiled and turned around. Tears threatened to fall again. She ran over to the group and hugged Leon tightly. Leon hugged her back sympathetically.

“You gonna be okay?” he asked.

“Yeah.” she answered wiping away her tears.

“Come on.” Aerith said pulling Kairi to Merlin’s. Kairi followed Aerith and kept quiet the whole way there.

That night three months later, Kairi sat on the rooftop of the castle. She looked up at the stars…Er….worlds and wondered about what was on them. Who was on them. Kairi sighed and a lone tear slid down her cheek.

“Come back Sora.” she said softly.

“I’ll always come back.” the voice answered.
