A/N: Ok, before we get started, the basics you need to know. This story is completely and totally unlike the game, in this the heartless don't exist, the keyblade is never needed, and the worlds do not, I repeat, do not block travel between them.

On to other matters, the raft the three friends built is not the small under sized one good wave and its toast, thing that you see in the game. It's now a big bigger, not just kids project, it's something they put some real work into. It's at least twice the size they had it in the game, and yes, I've added some other extra features.

Now, all that said, please enjoy the read, and by all means review! Reviews keep me in a writing spirit, so the more I hear, the better chance that you'll see this continue soon.

Sora smiled as he sat by Kairi, watching the setting sun. They'd finally finished the raft today, and were setting out tomorrow, bright and early. They'd finally find out what was really out there, finally see what was beyond their island.

“Sora...” Kairi said, somewhat tentatively, turning her eyes from the sunset to the boy next to her.

“Yeah Kairi?” Sora asked softly as he turned to her, wondering why she'd broken the peace of the moment.

“Let's go, right now, just me and you.” She said with a little bit of excitement, and anticipation. “Let's take the raft and go!”

Sora sat there starring at the girl for a moment, trying to make sure he'd really just heard that. “Kairi...” Two parts of him were suddenly at war with each other, one screaming that they should wait for Riku, wait till tomorrow; the other pleading the case for it being just the two of them.

“Sora, Riku will understand, I know he's your best friend, and it feels like a betrayal, but he'll understand, I know it.” Kairi pleaded, her eyes shining with something that Sora didn't quite understand.

Sora remained quiet for another moment before standing, earning a surprised; and scared look from the girl beside him. “Kairi...let's go.”

The girl's face seemed frozen for a moment, before breaking into a smile. “Right!” She said with a nodded as she hopped to her feet. The two turned at once and ran down the dock they'd been on; heading for what would be their ticket to adventure.

Kairi couldn't help a grin of anticipation as she and Sora began pushing the raft out into the water, hopping onto the wooden craft only when they got far enough that the small lulling waves that came toward the island weren't pushing them back toward it.

After taking a moment to settle, Sora stood and opened the raft's sail, feeling a stiff wind blowing away from the island, where it was blowing after that, didn't really matter to either of them, and so, the journey began.

“This is really real, huh Sora?” Kairi asked with a small as the boy sat down and took hold of the small rudder they'd designed for their `vessel'. “I mean, it isn't a dream, right? It's for real, just me and you, and whatever adventure decides to find us.”

Sora nodded to the question with smile. “Yeah, it's really real Kairi, just you, me, and what ever comes our way.” The boy said with a smile, looking at the horizon, and the now almost completely set sun.

“I'm glad, Sora.” The girl said after a while more, watching as the first stars began to twinkling in the sky. “Because now, I get to be with you forever.”

The boy turned his head to look at her, a confused expression on his face. “Kairi...?”

“We were going to move again Sora...” The said in a quiet voice, hugging her legs to her chest. “At the end of the month, we were going to leave, and I'd never have seen you again...I...I didn't want that to happen...” A single tear slipped from the redhead's left eye as she continued. “I didn't want it to happen because...because I love you, Sora!” She said closing both her eyes tightly to afraid to keep them open and see what the reaction of the boy next her would be.

Sora was shocked to the point of paralysis as his mind played those last for words over and over again. `I love you, Sora!' When he finally came to the realization that that had indeed been exactly what he heard, he focused his attention back on the girl beside him, finding her shaking, seemingly near tears. “Kairi...” He stopped to think for a moment, he now knew how she felt, but he wasn't positive about his own feelings, he'd never stopped to think about them really.

Kairi took this pause to wrong way, believing the worst, why'd she say it so soon, she had all the time in the world now, he wasn't going anywhere, she could be completely sure of that. Tears began to slip from her eyes as her fears began to overflow.

Sora was shocked as he saw the lines being cut down the girl's face by the salty liquid that almost shone in the moonlight, and in an instant he's question on his feelings was answered by the gut wrenching feeling he got at the sight of her crying. “Kai, don't cry, please, it hurts me to see you said.” He said as he wrapped his arms around her with out hesitation, pulling her close to him. “I'm sorry I made you cry...I...I just had to think, I wasn't sure, but I am now.” He said with a small smiled. “I love you too, Kairi.”

The girl's heart skipped a beat, and she felt her tears ebbing away, did he really mean that, or was he simply saying it to make her feel better? She needed to know, so she did the one thing she could think to, she asked. “Do...do you really mean that...or...or are you just trying to make me feel better?”

“Kai...I would never lie to you, not in a hundred years...” Sora said as he pulled her closer. “Since you moved to the island, since you started hanging out with Riku and I...I realize, I've been in love with you since then, that's why I think...” He said as he readjusted so the both of them so they could look in each other's eyes. “That's why I didn't really notice it, because it had always been there.”

Kairi's tears were completely gone at this point, and her eyes, though a little red, were shining with happiness in the moonlight. “Sora...?” She said with a small smile, getting an intent look from the boy, show her he was listening. “Let's go to bed.”

Sora nodded to that, pulling away from the girl, and standing. “I'll close the sail.” He said with that goofy smile of his, the one that showed he was truly happy with something.

The girl couldn't help but smile as she turned and crawled into the tent they'd built into the raft, it had been Riku who figured out how to do it, and she was extremely grateful at that that he had.

The floor of the tent was padded, thanks to pillows they'd each managed to sneak from home, and had a lantern hanging from the center of it top. Lighting the lantern with a candle lighter Riku had managed to get for just that, Kairi was surprised to find a few rather specific things missing.

They had all packed for this weeks ago, and brought everything they planned to take with them from home and placed inside the tent then, all three of them, but now, as she looked around the tent, she saw that Riku's things, weren't there. “He...he knew...” She whispered to herself.

“Who knew...?” Sora asked as he crawled into the tent. “Huh...where's Riku's stuff?” the boy asked, thinking that Kairi had removed it before even asking him to leave with her this night.

“Riku knew.” Kairi answered in amazement, turning to Sora. “His stuff isn't here, and I didn't remove it, and since you obviously didn't either...”

“He knew...and he didn't stop us...” Sora said, figuring it out. “But...but why wouldn't he...?”

“Because Sora...” Kairi said as she looked him in the eyes. “He knew it was better this way.”

Sora didn't say anything to that for a moment, letting sink all they way in that, his best friend, Riku, had done something like this. “I hope, he's truly as ok with this, and this makes it seem.”

“I'm sure he is Sora.” Kairi said smiling. “Otherwise, I'm sure he would have stopped us.”

Sora nodded to that and smiled, grabbing his sleeping bag, he rolled it out, and then turned and grabbed Kairi's as well, it having been just behind him. As he turned back with it in hand, he found himself staring at a stripping Kairi. “Ah!!!” The boy yelled falling backward in shock, dropping the girl's sleeping bag in the process. “K...Kairi, what are you doing!?”

The girl finished pulling off her shirt and giggled at the boy in front of her. “I'm getting undressed, what does it look like I'm doing?” She replied with a grin.

“I...but...that is...” Sora was completely lost at this point, they'd only just said they loved each other, and here she was, willing taking her clothes off where he could easily see.

“Sora...” The girl said, now speaking in a different tone, quiet, and nervous, but with an undertone that was new to both of them. “You know...we are out here all alone...” She added, crawling over to the fallen boy, and holding herself over him. “If you want...we could...” And she let her voice trail off, leaving the rest hanging.

“Kairi...” Sora almost whispered. “Are...are you sure about this...?” He questioned, he knew full well what she was referring to, it had been a main subject of focus in school a year prior, and something his parents had sat him down to talk about only a week ago. “I mean...we don't have to rush...”

Kairi shook her head at the question. “I've wanted this for a little while now...” She admitted truthfully. “I...I want to be your and yours alone Sora...I want to be with you now, and always. And I know I love you, so what else matters?”

“Kairi...” Sora said in another near whisper, lifting his right hand to cup her cheek. Pushing himself up from his fallen position, as well as pulling her down, though not with any real force, he soon found their lips brushing lightly together, and then, pressed together in a kiss he hadn't known either of them could be capable of.

Though she was the one to have started thing, Kairi was surprised by Sora being the one to start the kiss, not that she minded. After a moment, she felt his lips part slightly, and his tongue brush against her lips. Parting them with out question, she moaned as his tongue began exploring her mouth, and responded with her own.

As the kiss deepened, Sora allowed his hands to begin roaming Kari's body, first running down her back, then to her sides and up, finding her small but firm breasts at the end of the journey. He smiled he earned a moan from her as he began to knead them. He smiled a bit more into the kiss as he felt her hands roaming his body, trying to remove his clothing.

Sora pulled one of his arms away, so he could pull it out of the sleeve of his vest, and then traded it off with the other one, and the cloth was finally removed, allowing the girl above him to continue one to other pieces. As it went on, and he became less and less clothed, he decided he'd return the favor, and began removing Kairi's clothes as she was his.

Soon the two young lovers found themselves clothed in only the underwear, tangled in each others arms. “Kairi...are you really sure about this?” Sora asked once more, breaking their kiss.

The girl stared down at the boy below her, and then nodded, before grabbing her love's boxers and pulling them down his legs, leaving him completely exposed below her. She blushed as she finally saw his length, hard and erect.

Sora blushed as well, but more due to the fact she was staring than to the fact he was completely nude. Shaking it off though, he grabbed her hand, snapping her out of her trance like stare, and pulled her down, moving so he had her below him.

Setting and hand to either side her waist, the boy hooked his thumbs through the waist of her panties and slowly began to pull then down, earning a new blush from the girl. Tossing the finally piece of clothing aside, Sora stared down at Kairi and took in the image of her laying completely nude before him.

Gulping lightly from nervousness, Sora set himself between Kairi's legs, looking her in the eyes for any signs that she was even the slightest bit unsure of this. He found none.

Pushing his hips forward, he couldn't help but moan as he felt her wet warmth slowly beginning to envelope him, if there was such a thing as paradise, then this had to be it, and the feeling only seemed to be getting better the further in he pushed. But after a moment, he felt the head of his member hit a barrier, and he could feel Kairi flinch beneath him.

Kairi couldn't help the flinch when she felt Sora's member bump against her barrier, she'd been told about this, and she knew it would feel great, but she also knew it had to be done. “Its...its ok Sora.” She said as she looked up at him. “It's ok to keep going, it'll hurt for me, but it does for all girls their first time.” The girl whispered, looking off to the side.

Sora seemed unsure for a moment, but when Kairi turned back to him with almost pleading eyes, he knew he couldn't say no. Pulling back a little, he pushed forward hard, feeling himself break right through the barrier, but he also felt Kairi's reaction to it being broken, and it made his heart sink. She was shaking, and he knew it had to have hurt a lot.

“Sor...Sora...its ok, just keep going...it'll be fine in a bit, I promise.” Kairi managed to get out.

Sora gulped again but did as he had been told, pulling out slowly and pushing back in, repeating the motion after every second, though even though he knew it still felt really good from him, he could tell it was causing Kairi a lot of pain. He was about to stop, when he heard a low, barely audible moan escape his love's throat.

Kairi let another moan escape as Sora kept going, she could still feel the pain, but the building pleasure was starting to drown it out, and after a short time, she could help but begin matching Sora's movements. “Faster...” She moaned out at Sora's slow pace.

Sora didn't need to be told twice, he could tell Kairi was finally feeling pleasure from his actions, and was all to happy to pick up the pace. Leaning in, he brought his mouth down to one of the girl's breasts, slowing starting to suck on it, while he kneaded the other with his left hand.

Kairi gasped at Sora's actions, and her hands quickly found themselves buried in his hair as a wonderful tension began to build inside her body. Before long the tension became nearly unbearable, and in an instant her world seemed to erupt around her in a volcano of pleasure. “Sor...Sora!” Kairi cried out as her back arced, and her first orgasm tore through her body, pulling said boy with her.

Sora buried himself as deeply into his lover as he could and cried out her name as he threw his head back, his whole body shaking from the blinding pleasure pulsing through it.. Finally, as the pleasure waned, the boy nearly collapsed on top of his love, only just holding himself up, he wrapped an arm around the waist of the girl bellow him, being careful to keep them together as he moved them both onto their sides.

“Kai...” He said softly as they lay there.

“Mmm...?” Was all the response the girl could bring herself to give.

“I love you.” Sora answered, holding her close as he began to drift off to sleep.

“I love you too.” Kairi murmured as she too allowed her tiredness to win.
