The next few days had been uneventful for Sora. Went to all his classes and got to see Riku in the morning for a short while. He was a really nice guy. He had learned a lot about him like, he was home schooled for middle school and high school. It explained why Sora had never met him or heard of him before. He was never there when Sora got out of class which was always a little depressing, but there was always Kairi. She was great fun.

He now had a good load of homework. He was adding a class to day to top it off. Physical Geography, though not normally his thing he found that Rana's Mother was teaching it. That was enough to get him to join. She was an awesome teacher no matter what she was teaching and she's a wonderful sweet person. He didn't know where Rana came from. She was a fierce head red with hair that just reached her shoulders, pale skin, and green eyes. She stood at 5'6'' and is 20 years of age. She is a great gal to be around if not a little like handling fire. `Never knew what you would get out of her…' Sora had known her from childhood, but they didn't get to really know each other until high school.

Picking up an Add/Drop form and a school cataloged, he flipped though it until he found her class. Writing down the information and taking it to the lady at the administrations desk. After she had typed it in she sent him over to the cashier's desk to pay for his class. At $20 per unit it could get really expensive and this was a three unit class.

Looking up at the clock he notice that Geography would start soon and it was across campus so he decided to get moving. The campus wasn't really that big but between buildings it was open. There was a lot of grass that a lot of the students where lounging on or hacking. Hacky sack was well liked as a way to waste time between classes. You could always find a large group of people playing it. There where a few trees here and there. Over all the campus was pleasant and the day today was beautiful.

Walking into the classroom there where a lot of people all over the place. Looking for anyone he knew he spotted Marluxia sitting in the front. There was a spot right next to Marluxia.

“Hey Sora, I didn't know you where in this class,” Marluxia said looking at Sora questioning.

“Well I wasn't until today. Just added it after finding out Rana's mom is teaching it,” Sora scratched the back of his head smiling foolishly at him.

“Yeah I've never had her before, but I must say it's a great class so far.”

Sora smiled at him and took a seat next to him that he had been eyeing. Marluxia turn way from him and went on to talk to the man next to him. He had long straight dim blonde hair, forest green eyes, and he looked to be around 22 years old. He seemed like the quiet type, but with him and Marluxia talking it appeared he was wrong. Also he felt kind of left out. That soon subsided when Rinda waked into the classroom, “Good afternoon class, hope you had a good weekend.”

Many just shook their heads yes. While other's muttered something or other. She spotted Sora in the front and smiled at him.

“Ok, the first thing we are doing to day is taking pictures of everyone in the class. I'll be posting them on the class web site so if you only know faces you can connect them with names.” Her voice was warm and cheerful. “Sora, I know you're good with cameras so walk around and get everyone's name and a picture of them for me.” She smiled kindly at him.

Sora knew that she was talking to him and there was not way out of it. Walking over to her, he took her camera got a few instruction on how to use it and set off about his new job. He started at the back and worked his way forward. He was almost done just two more to do. That guy and Marluxia.

“Please write your name on the piece of paper and smile for the camera,” Sora said to the guy.

“If you say so,” he wrote his name down and passed it to Marluxia. Looking up at the camera he didn't smile. He kept on a stoic face that he had worn as he had approached. Even so Sora took the picture. Moving on to Marluxia, “Now smile for me Sexy.” He said teasingly to him. Marluxia flashed a grin at Sora and he was done.

Now finished he walked up to Rinda and gave her the camera and paper with the names on it back. Taking his seat, the class carried on.

When class had finished Sora found he was glad that he had signed up for the class. It was a lot of fun and fascinating. That guy had caught Sora's eye and now he was curious about him, but to Sora's luck he didn't give anything up. Marluxia and he walked back to the student center together. At first it was silent.

Sora wonder who that guy was, he wasn't going to tell Marluxia know that. He would just have to wait and find out. `He's kinda cute...' he thought to himself as a small blushed spread across his face.

“So have any plans tonight?” his train of thought now broken he shook off his thoughts and answered his friend.

“No got work. Just going to getting my stuff I'm heading home before I have to be off to work.” He said with a small frown.

“You work too much,” Marluxia smiled at Sora.

“Yeah may be, but got to pay the bills, right?”

They made it to the Student Center and Sora spotted Kairi as she looked up at him.

“Hey Sora! What you doing tonight?”

“Just working,” he told her.

“Oh come on!!! Call in!” she tried to get him to skip out on work normally, but he knew he couldn't do that. It wouldn't have been fair to his co-workers or his fridge.

“You know I can't. I have to get in so many hours a week to pay my bills. Also if I skip out on work as much as you wanted me to they would cut my hours. I would starve!!!”

“You could come live with us….” She smiled up at him.

He knew that was an option, though not one he would ever be happy with. He had lived by himself for a half a year now and he was lucky to even get the apartment considering he had never rented before. He was now accustom to living by himself and not having to hear anyone else nag him for how he ran his house and if he moved in with Kairi it would be hell. He would be doing all the cleaning he figured and may be even the cooking. That didn't sit well with him though he would not tell her what he felt about her house.

“I know, but work is calling and I wouldn't want to be a burden.”

“Then come over to night and spend some time with me!”

“Ok, but only if I get a shower when I get there.”

“Deal.”

With that he was on his way home to pick up his uniform and some extra clothes from home. Nothing could beat a shower after a few hours at work. Well when it came to time after work.

Work had been good, some cute girls had flirted with him. Too bad they looked to be underage or he might have thought about asking one of them out on a date. Some older guys had hit on him as well, which left him disappointed. He did not disapprove of others that dated younger or older than themselves, it was just not his cut of tea.

When he arrived at Kairi's house he headed straight for the shower ignoring Kairi's screams that she had to go pee. She had promised him his shower and if she wasn't looking at the time she would just have to hold it or go outside. He debated taking his good sweet time, but Kairi's pleas from the other side of the door were too much for him to take so he rushed out of his shower and got dressed.

Opening the door, “Finally you're out you water hog! I have to go! Out of the way!”

“What do you say,” He smirked down at her now making sure to block her path.

“But!!!... I have to pee!!!” She whined at him.

“And I should care why?”

“Because…. FINE!!!! Please!!!!!”

At that he let her into the bathroom and walked into the livingroom and lounged on the couch. Jazz came up to great him as she normally did. She was a beautiful black cat with pumpkin orange eyes. Mal Kairi's other cat jumped up on the back of the couch then fell off. She was a calico with the same color eyes as Jazz. All of her fur was smooth except her tail that was fluffy and to long for her body. That tail of hers was the most amusing thing about Mal. It always throw her off balance. Sora remembered a time when she had crashed in to a wall when she had missed the table by an inch. He had laughed so hard he thought that he might die.

Kairi joined him within a few moments and sat in the chair next to him. She turned on the TV though neither of them where watching it. They talked about what they had been up to over the past week and Sora brought up that guy he had seen in his class. She teased him some and they had a good laugh about it. After an hour he said good-bye her and was on his way home.
