One problem after another.

This is part 3 of Heart's requiem. I like making this story because most stories I make I come up with every single piece of it before I start writing. But, this story is entirely different because the only parts I really had done was the end and beginning. I'm making this one up as I go. In strength's wake I had it all planned and in Naruto Evil 4 there is a line that I have to stick to. So come walk with me as I fill in the holes. Please enjoy after all that's what I write for.
Ties that bind.
The group ran down the path in front of them seeing the destruction that had been left behind on the city. Sora led the group to the old hangout of the Raidant Garden restoration commitee. Only to find it in shambles he looked around finding no one. Xerha could feel a dark presence floating around the area.
Tidus: How did it get this bad?
Yuna: I don't know. We left before the attack.
Donald: They must've attacked while we were stuck in that car planet.
Sora: Hollow Bastion castle.
Riku: What?
Sora: They have to be there.
He said as he burst out running out down the path in front of them leading to the castle. After reaching the castle they found themselves staring at a very large gate.
????: It's about time you showed up.
The group turned to a brown-haired man with a gunsword and a scar across his face.
Sora: Leon.
Leon: So what took you so long?
Kairi: We kind of caught a snag.
Leon's eyes began to scan the group.
Leon: The group is bigger than I remember.
Goofy: Yeah we made some friends.
Leon: King Mickey isn't with you?
Donald: No he decided it would be best for us to investigate seperately.
Leon: Why?
Leon's eyes rested on a person who seemed to be entirely different from the others. Xerha. He looked into her deep yellow eyes and thrusted his gunblade at her throat. Xerha didn't flinch she just frowned at him. She looked at him with anger in her eyes.
Yuna: Leon what are you doing?
Leon: She's one of them.
Sora: Leon, cut it out man.
Paine: Leon!
Leon turned to Paine and dropped his blade.
Leon: Fine, but you'd better explain everything later.
Leon kept leading everyone down the path but, he never once took his eyes off of Xerha. Yuna flew onto Tidus' shoulder and he looked up at her.
Tidus: What's his problem?
Yuna: He's probably on edge. I mean, look around.
Tidus' eyes returned to Leon who was walking with Paine on his shoulder.
Sora: If only we had gotten here earlier.
Roxas: Don't worry all we have to do now is fix the problem.
Sora: So much for the restoration commitee.
Namine: I really don't think you should talk like that.
Xerha: Are you going to watch me all day? Am I a prisoner?
Everyone in the group turned to Xerha after her outburst.
Leon: So it can talk.
Xerha: It? You don't even know me yet you judge me?
Leon: You're one of those things that attacked us. Why should I trust you?
Sora: Leon hold on a minute.
Leon: Tell me why should I lead a monster to our hideout?
Xerha: I never even did anything to you. You're the one challenging me.
Sora: Leon she's one of us, chill.
Leon: Once again you are too naive.
Xerha: I have no plans on attacking you. You're the one with all the hositlity. My father always told that if someone watches you with such intensity they're challenging you.
Leon: It has a father? I always assumed that you things just crawled out from a puddle somewhere.
Sora: Leon!!
Leon: Is he a monster too?
Xerha: Fuck you!!!
Xerha's eyes started to water and they began to turn full yellow. Leon pulled his gunblade after seeing it. Sora pulled Xerha back and looked into her eyes.
Sora: Xerha, calm down.
Xerha: I didn't do anything to him. I don't have take his insults and I won't!!
Xerha looked at Leon one last time before she turned and ran from the castle. Kairi and Namine followed after her.
Sora: Leon, that was uncalled for, man. Riku take everyone else and keep heading to the castle. I'll go after the girls.
Riku: All right.
Sora and Roxas both took off after the girls. Leon huffed and turned to continue walking. The others grudgingly followed.
Leon: Let's go.
Paine: Leon was that really necessary?
Leon: She's a monster. Monsters don't have feelings.
Xerha had run all the way to the edge of one of Raidant Gardens many cliffs. She sat at the edge and looked down at the bottom. Kairi had finally caught up and was catching her breath as Namine just kept walking.
Kairi: Namine don't you ever run out of breath?
Namine: Nope, I can just teleport.
Kairi stood up and walked along side Namine.
Kairi: Just rub it in, why don't you.
Xerha looked back to the girls and then turned back.
Xerha: You're the last person I thought would have come after me.
Kairi: Why?
Xerha: Because we're rivals.
Kairi: I'm not like that. Are you ok?
Xerha: I guess. I really shouldn't have let him get me that riled up.
Namine: I don't blame you. I probably would have reacted the same way.
Sora: All we have to do is prove him wrong, right.
The girls turned to Sora and Roxas who seemed to just have appeared out of nowhere.
Sora: The worst thing you could do is get mad at what someone says and go around proving them right everyday of your life. The only way to get someone back when they feel that way about you is to prove them wrong. That way no matter how much they feel the way they do at least you will know it's not true. Basically, make him look stupid.
MESSAGE!!!!
Xerha: Thank you guys.
Xerha stood up and wiped the tears from her eyes.
Xerha: I'm ok now. Le......
Xerha stopped and turned to a cave at the side of that she hadn't noticed before.
Kairi: What's wrong?
Xerha: Someone's down there.
Sora: Really? Then let's check out.
Everyone but, Xerha started to walk into the cave.
Xerha: Wait I said there's something down there. We should be walking away from the big scary cave.
Roxas: Hey nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Sora: Yeah, where is your sense of adventure?
Xerha: I'm going on a adventure that spans across mutliple worlds. I believe I brought my sense of adventure. I'm just not so sure about doing insanely reckless things.
Namine: Oh com'n.
Xerha: I know I'm gonna regret this.
Xerha followed the others as they walked into the crystal cave.
[HBC= Hollow bastion castle as if people don't already know.]
Yuffie: Leon you're back.
Leon: Yeah.
Yuffie: Looked around at the group and then began to ask a qeustion but, before she could Aerith burst out.
Aerith: Where is Sora? He isn't here?
Donald: He was here but, Mr. Happy here caused a problem.
Leon: Shut up duck!
Aerith: What kind of problem?
She said taking a man crushing stance that sent shivers down Leon's spine. Cid stood up from the computer and walked up to the group.
Cid: We don't have time for this just tell us what happened.
Leon: I ran off another one of those monster.
Yuffie: Those heartless?
Goofy: Xerha's not a heartless!
Riku: Yes she is.
Tidus: No she isn't. She's the queen of darkness but, not a heartless.
Riku: She explained it all to Me and Sora. She is a heartless just a different kind of them.
Cid: Queen of darkness?
Riku: Xerha is a special kind of heartless that is born with a heart. These heartless are called wholes. Wholes are like humans who are from the dark realm. Xerha is the current queen of these people.
The entire group gave concerned looks at Riku. Leon stood in front of them and stared at Riku.
Leon: Explain it to me from the beginning.
[Crystal cave]
Xerha: Hey guys there are bats down here.
Sora: Are you afraid of bats?
Xerha: No they just freak me out.
Sora: Don't worry I'm here.
Kairi: Sora I'm scared too.
Sora: Then I'll protect you both.
Xerha/Kairi: Thanks Sora.
Roxas/Namine: Oh brother.
The group navigated through the cave until they found themselves in a giant room with pillars everywhere. Xerha felt a presence and quickly pulled her keyblade.
Sora: What's wrong?
Xerha: Cerevune is here.
Cerevune: Sharp as always your highness.
Cerevune stepped from the darkness and removed his mask. He resembled Riku very highly except his hair was longer and he was way more built.
Roxas: What are you doing here?
Cerevune: You should know by now. Everything we do is for the queen.
Roxas stood tall and backed into Sora's body.
Cerevune: Running away?
Sora: No, now I can do this.
Sora took on the Final Drive form [or as I call it the Roxas drive form.] while Xerha materialized another keyblade. Kairi and Namine being the newest in the ways of battle stayed back and waited for the right moment. Sora ran for Cerevune and pointed the two keblades at him causing them to zoom at him. Cerevune dodged both and ran at Sora. He slashed at his head but, Sora rolled under it and zoomed his keyblades into Cerevune's back sending him flipping to the ground. Xerha charged up to Cerevune but, he quickly knocked her back and hurled his keyblade at Sora knocking him to the ground. Cerevune ran at Sora grabing back his keyblade and slashed at Sora sending him skipping across the ground. Sora rolled to his feet and Cerevune grabbed him by his neck then he began whacking Sora with his keyblade in his side. Kairi ran up in behind Cerevune and slashed down at his head knocking him off balance. Xerha punched him in the face and then threw one of her keyblades in the air. She uppercutted Cerevune and while they were both the air she caught her keyblade and did a spinning simultaneous sword slash and Cerevune sliding back along the ground. Sora sent his keyblades forward slashing Cerevune as he got up. He fell back and looked up to see Namine drawing a picture. She drew a warrior nobody and it came to life. The picture came to life and it came with friends.
Namine: Charge!
Cerevune: Crap!
The nobodies attacked furiously knocking back Cerevune until the final hit sent him to the ground hard. Cerevune looked up and began laughing.
Cerevune: This is what I want. A challenge!!!
Cerevune made three other keyblades and two arms shot from his side and grabbed two of the keyblades while he grabbed the thrid. Cerevune steppd to the side and revealed a second version of him.
Cerevunes: Give me a challenge!!!!!
Xerha: Well that's new.
Cerevune and his copy began walking torwards the group and then they burst out running.
[HBC]
Riku had just finished giving his explaination.
Leon: That explains why the king isn't here. If this is true then doesn't that make that girl even more dangerous than the others?
Riku: No. because Xerha is not like them.
Leon: What makes her so different?
Riku: Because she has a good side and a dark side. Each has a different personality. The good side is the one you just insulted.
Leon: Her good side doesn't make things any better.
Riku: Her good side is practically human. She has feelings I'm pretty sure you noticed. Like you said, monsters don't have feelings. But, someone without feelings couldn't cry.
Yuffie: Where is she?
Aerith: Yes can we talk to her?
Donald: That's what I mean by Mr. Happy caused a problem. He made her cry, run off, and Sora followed her. We have no idea where they are right now.
Aerith: Well we should look for them.
Cid: Don't think we have that kind of free time right now.
Tidus: What do you me.....
Before he coulld finsih his question was answered in the form of a blast hitting the castle. Goofy got knocked from his seat and he hit his head, on the wall, outside the room.
Cid: They're back. And there's alot of them.
Yuffie: Is the defence system back up yet?
Cid: No, and it'll take awhile to git it back workin'.
Riku: Then I geuss we'll have to buy you some time. Com'n everybody.
Tidus: Right behind you.
Leon jumped from his seat and Paine jumped onto his shoulder, Rikku jumped onto Riku's, and Yuna on Tidus'. Goofy stood back up and looked at everyone. He looked down at Donald.
Donald: Don't even think about it.
Goofy: Oh com'n.
Donald: No!
Yuffie: We should help too Aerith.
Aerith: Right.
She said with a large smile on her face as she walked outside of the castle.
Cid: Now I only have to git this thing back up. Shouldn't be too hard......I think.
Riku arrived outside and he looked up torwards the hordes of heartless coming torwards them. He looked to the top of the cliff in front of him. Zunark was standing tall looking down on them.
Zunark: Give them hell!!!!
The heartless began their charge at the heroes and they all donned their weapons. They prepared for battle and waited for the collision. Riku stood at the pack and then slashed through the first heartless that came his way. He pointed out his arm and shot his dark cannon at the approaching heartless. He set up his sheild and Goofy ran along side him with his sheild out as well. The two of them rammed their way through the crowd as the others cut through the heartless swarm from in behind them. Riku dropped his sheild and thrusted his keyblade into the chest of one heartless and then he flipped onto the head of a fat heartless. He slapped his keyblade against the heartless' back causing it to fall forward and Tidus ran forward thrusting his sword into it's head. He ripped his sword out and dragged it upwards through the heartless in behind him. Yuna jumped from Tidus' shoulder and blasted with her daul pistols into the crowd of heartless sending them falling back in her wake. She walked forward shooting rapidly then she leaned back shooting the heartless in behind her. Then she moved her body around to face the same way as her arms. Yuna flipped back onto Tidus' shoulder and they smiled at the heartless in front of them but, suddenly a giant shuriken whirled around them sliced through the heartless. Yuffie caught her shuriken and ran in front of the two then she rolled her shuriken along the ground and it cut through the heartless. Yuffie jumped over her shuriken and kicked the heartless that jumped up after her right in the path of the shuriken. After it sliced the heartless Yuffie landed and picked up the shuriken. She turned to the side and saw more heartless pouring in.
Yuffie: Oh boy.
The heartless began to close in on her but, suddenly a red swirl circled around Yuffie. Bullets flew from the swirl and crushed through the body of the heartless coming after her.
Leon: What the hell is that?
Yuffie: Vincent!?
The red swirl emerged from the ground and took the form of a tall man with a long red cape, long black hair, a golden glove, and blood red eyes. He stood in front of Yuffie and pulled a three barreled gun that trumped any gun that any of the warriors had ever seen before. When he pulled the trigger the gun erupted with a cloud of red smoke as the bullets ate away at the body of the heartless. He quickly and stylishly blasted back the heartlless then he turned around with a kick to the face of the heartless that leapt at him from behind. He gave it a going away present that sent it rolling along the ground into a cloud of black smoke. He looked back at a new person that had just arrived on the scene. A brown-haired girl with two blue beam rods in her hands. Her clothes had blue flowing lines running through them. [Yeah I played dirge of cerebus. I hated the way t played but, I loved the story and characters.] She walked forward staring holes into the heartless roaring at her. They waited for the time to strike but, the girl seemed unfazed by the monsters. After she stood in the middle the heartless attacked. The girl flipped above them and came back down with both beam rods aimed at them. She sliced through two at the same time and landed on the ground. Then she span around slashing through the heartless surrounding her. The heartless were blasted back and they disappeared after hitting the ground. A heartless ran at her but, she slashed off it's leg and stabbed through it's stomache after it went in the air. She quickly pulled her rod from it and it rolled to the ground before it vanished.
Vincent: Shelke, over here!
Shelke: Alright.
Shelke ran forward and cut through the heartless heading torwards her then, she jumped into the air and threw her rods into the chest of a heartless. After the heartless vanished she pulled back her rods by the retractable cord attached to them and she rolled in the air until she landed next to Vincent. Heartless continued to advance on them.
Shelke: Vincent Valentine, what is the next course of action?
Vincent: I don't know.
Riku: Hey!
Vincent turned to Riku and he continued.
Riku: We'll take care of things here. Can you go find my friends?
Shelke: Where are they?
Riku: I don't know, one's a brown-haired keyblade weilder and he's with a blue haired girl and a red head. Just ask for Sora and say that Riku sent you.
Vincent: Alright. Just hold them here until we get back.
Vincent's cape covered Shelke and himself then they both took off into the air.
Riku: That is so cool!!!!!!
Yuffie [sigh] Not so much as a "hi".
Aerith: That's just how you is. Cloud's the same way. Right now let's focus on them.
Yuffie turned to the heartless storming at them. Aerith put both of her hands together and began to pray. Suddenly a green light surrounded her and swept the battlefield kiling the heartless around her and everyone else. Zunark smiled and sent another wave after them. Once again the area was filled with heartless. Aerith stood up and held out her staff as she ran into the fight smiling widely. Goofy pointed is sheild to Donald and he casted firaga on it. Goofy turned to the drowd of heartless and bashed his sheild into the face of the biggest one and he watched it vanish in cinders. He turned around into a uppercut to a different heartless then, as they were both in the air he punched through it's chest. As he came back to the ground he smashed another heartless. He stood back to his feet and streched out his arms. He span around and created a flame tornado that incererated every heartless it touched. Donald turned away from Goofy's work and concentrated on the heartless behind him.
Donald: Fantasia!!!
A swarm of mini-missiles appeared above Donald and he launched them into the crowd forming in front of him. Leon slashed downward through the heartless in behind him and turned to Donald who had finished his attack and ran torwards Riku. Leon smiled and stabbed the heartless in front of him then he ripped downward and did a spinning slash that killed two heartless. Leon stood tall and pressed a button on his gunblade that made the blade fall down. Paine retracted the sword she was holding until it went back into it's hilt. Leon's blade fell from his revovler and latched onto Paine's sword hilt. The blade stood 5x times her size but, she held it like it was nothing. The sword began to glow and even seemed to grow larger. Paine swung the sword through three heartless at once. She flipped forward and slashed downward through fives heartless and did a spinning slash before she landed to the ground. Leon held out his revovler and Paine jumped onto it and put her sword into the barrel.
Leon/Paine: Lionheart!!
Leon fired the gun and sent Paine flying into the enemies. The blade sent off a blinding light that destroyed the heartless by just getting near them. Paine turned in mid-air and tossed the sword back to Leon. He caught it back in it's rightful place and caught Paine back on his shoulder.
Riku: Oh, we have to make a team combo like that.
Rikku: Yeah!!
The two looked back at the battlefield and saw more heartless spilling in.
Riku: Damn. Hurry up guys we don't have that much time.
[Crystal Cave]
Cerevune stepped back and took in the sight of the heroes trying to pick themselves up.
Cerevune: Is that all? I should have fought you at the same time as Zunark.
He said right before his cell phone started to ring. He pulled it out and began to talk.
Cerevune: Yes they took the bait. So Zunark is taking care of them. Good it saves me trouble. Alright I'll bring the queen but, what about the other three? Hahaha, With pleasure.
He hung up his phone and walked over to Sora who could barely stand at the moment.
Cerevune: You are no longer needed. Your friends are just as unfortunate as you are. They'll visit you soon. But, you...
He said looking torward Kairi.
Cerevune: You are not that fortunate. I like you, I think I'll keep you alive so that you may perform various "Tasks".
Sora: Don't you dare!!
Xerha: I'll never let you do that.
Cerevune: Sorry to inform you but, you no longer have a choice in the matter.
????: Then why don't I say my piece.
Cerevune turned to see who had spoken but, was only greeted by a bullet to the chest. The blast sent him flying back to the ground and he frowned at the pain he felt. The first thing he saw was a pair of red eyes cutting through the darkness of the cave and it was being followed by flowing blue lines that seemed to lead to two oblongish objects. Three more bullets flew at Cerevune but he dodged them and laid his back against a pillar. Vincent walked over to Sora and looked down at him.
Vincent: Are you Sora?
Sora: Yeah but, how do you know me?
Shelke: The one named Riku asked us to look for you.
Kairi: How did you know we were here.
Shelke: I can attach my mind to any computer in the world. I just used a satelite to check for you location. Vincent Valentine, I will restore those three you handle him.
Vincent: Fine.
Vincent walked to the pillar Cerevune was behind and he jumped at Vincent with his sword pointing in thrusting position. Vincent dodged the blade and tripped Cerevune. Cerevune rolled to his feet and slashed at Vincent's legs only for him to jump onto the keyblade. Vincent stood and pointed his gun at Cerevune's head.
Cerevune: You're good.
Vincent blasted at Cerevune but, he dodged it and pulled his keyblade from under Vincent. Vincent flipped to the ground and shot at Cerevune but, he was too fast to be hit by the attacks. Cerevune flipped back and looked on but, was shocked to see that the entire group was standing back up. Cerevune stepped back and clapped.
Cerevune: I like you. But, I can't stick around. Don't worry.....
The group saw something long slithering through the pillars hidden in the darkness of the cave.
Cerevune: My friend will keep you company. Fight hard and live my queen.
Cerevune stepped back into the darkness and vanished. After he left the shadowy figure moving through the pillars emerged. It was an incredibly long snake heartless. The heartless moved around through the pillars and seperated the others as it's body locked itself into the pillars around it. Xerha had been trapped on it's left side while Kairi and Namine were trapped on the right. Vincent and Shelke were at it's tail around were surrounded by it. Sora, just his luck, was right in it's face and it was staring at him like it wanted to fill it's stomache. It reached out and snapped at Sora but, he jumped over it and made both of his keyblades hit it on it's head knocking it to the ground. It recovered and lashed upward hitting Sora back. He flipped back to his feet and wiped the blood from his mouth. Kairi ran up to it's side and stabbed into it while Xerha did something similar on the other side except with two keyblades. The heartless roared and started to move eratically. Vincent picked up Shelke and jumped in behind it's tail while everyone moved away from it. Their actions were wise, the heartless coiled it's body together and crushed the pillars around it giving it more free room to move around. Everyone gathered back together and looked at the heartless in front of them as it prepared it's next attack. It lashed out at Xerha only to find itself hitting the wall in behind her then it whirled around whipping it's tail at everyone knocking back Xerha and Kairi. Before it could pull it's head back it felt bullets rip through it's back. It rolled around and slithered through the holes in the cave. Vincent looked around and saw that the holes were everywhere and more than likely connected.
Vincent: Shit! Below us!
The group felt rumbling and jumped back as the snake made a new hole as it emerged for them. Sora and Kairi both threw their keyblades at it and made it fall back before it pulled itself back into the hole. They queited themselves to listen to the heartless' movements but, found they couldn't hear anything. Namine drew a picture of ray gun nobodies and all of a sudden the heartless showed itself and went directly for her. She made the nobodies blast the heartless and it swirled off course and slammed into the wall behind them.
Sora: Good shot! [mostly Roxas talking.]
Namine: Thanks.
The heartless turned around and hissed at the group. It slithered at them and prepared for it's attack but, Shelke stepped up. She threw her rods into the neck of the heartless and then pulled the wires to the side causing the heartless' head to whip into the wall. Then she pulled them upward slamming it's head into the ceiling of the cave. The heartless wheeled around and tail whipped the entire group back to the wall at the back of the cave. As they recovered they noticed that the heartless rushing at them with it's mouth open wide. Xerha stepped up and stabbed her keyblades into the top and bottom of the heartless' mouth and then ripped them both out. She jumped back to the group and watched the heartless roll around in pain. Sora, Kairi, and Xerha pointed their keyblades at the heartless. Namine made three ray gun nobodies while Vincent pulled out hs Cerberus and pointed it at the heartless. Shelke drew a weapon that she had been saving for just a time like this, her Cerberus MkII. It looked like Vincent's but it had her signature blue lines flowing through it. At the same time everyone shot at the heartless and to their suprise the blasts fused together and grew bigger. The blast eradicated the heartless and blasted a hole through the ceiling of the cave.
Xerha: Whoa!
Sora: Now, we have to name that.
Vincent: Later, we have somewhere to be.
Kairi: Right.
The group jumped through the hole in the ceiling and Vincent took them all into his cape before flying back to the battlefeild. He noticed that Shelke was acting sluggish. Xerha looked down and saw the heroes on their last leg and Zunark standing on the cliff above a sea of heartless. Vincent landed and the group ran for the battle but, Xerha was acting strange. Before Sora could reach the battle he lost control of his drive form.
Sora: Damn, not now.
He looked up to see Xerha walking torwards the heartless with her eyes full yellow.
Riku: Xerha. What are you.....
Xerha seemed as if she was in a trance she just walked forward to the field of heartless that just stared at her. All of the warriors stopped fighting and turned to her as the heartless seemed to be more interested in her now anyway.

As Xerha walked light particles began falling from her clothes pieces by piece and it actually created a kind of rythmic sound to it. Her clothes turned black under the particles of light that dropped. Xerha swung her head from side to side and her normally short hair grew out and flowed in the breeze. Xerha crossed her arms and grabbed her shoulders as she did. Then she threw her arms apart and the rest of the light particles broke into the air and shattered. Her clothes were now full black. She opened her arms and walked through the crowd of heartless and they began to follow her. She looked around through the crowd as the heartless followed and Zunark smiled from his perch. Xerha stood in the middle of the crowd and the heartless began to float around as the queen she was. Xerha looked up at Zunark and smiled. Leon's eyes narrowed as he looked at her. All the while thinking about how naive everyone was to fall for her tricks. Suddenly Xerha began to spun her hands and two keyblades zoomed to them. She slashed to the side cutting through the heartless and she turned with a cross slash. She flipped back over a slash a heartless took at her then she landed on the ground with a spinning double slash. She threw her keyblade forward and cut through the heartless in a line and then did a jumping sword uppercut with a single keyblade before she caught her second one. She landed on the ground and then she cut off the heads of the heartless in behind her before she continued to walk forward. She looked around at the now irate heartless she walked for as the heartless followed in behind her. She tossed her two keyblades in behind her and they latched onto her back. She made two more keyblades and she did the same with them. When the four keyblades were latched onto her back she made two new keyblades as she walked but, she held those in her hands.
Xerha: This is me alone.
Xerha crossed her keyblades and the heartless charged at her from behind. The keyblades on her back streched out and ripped through the heartless coming at her the she swung around cut through the surrounding heartless before the keyblade retracted and went in front of her stabbing through random heartless like a pair of spider legs. The heartless jumped over her from everywhere. She stood tall as her hair grew and stabbed through the heartless like pikes. She stabbed her two keyblades through a heartless then ripped them in opposite directions before she slashed back with a single blade. She walked back through the crowd and folded her arms as the keyblades on her back stabbed through every heartless around her before she stabbed them in the ground and made them come from the ground. The keyblades ripped through the ground and cut the heartless around her. After the attack they reemerged and came back to her. Xerha started to cartwheeled down the path and her then she tossed all six keyblades in different directions. The keyblades swirled around cutting through random heartless for a while before the returned to her and floated around her. Xerha walked around as the keyblades flew around her wildly. She crossed arms once again and smiled as she did. Heartless poured in around her and attacked from every direction. Xerha closed her eyes and waited for the right moment during the attack. When it came she chuckled ad spun out of the way or a falling heartless. She did a backwards cartwheel out of the way of a different attack then she rolled on the ground before she flipped back to her feet. Her body movements were like dance steps and they were like peotry in motion. Her hair flowed with her movement and shined a brillant blue in the sunlight. The warriors were entralled and the heartless were enraged. She danced away, flowing beautifully in her steps dodging the attacks of the heartless with each step and as she did the keyblades around her cut through them as she dodged. The boys on the feild found her dance almost sensual. Cid watched from inside and wondered if he even should finish getting the defence systems back up. They seemed so unneccessary now. After failing to hit Xerha for so long the heartless backed off. Xerha stood up and held her shoulders once again. The keyblades around her flew into the sky and she quickly thrusted her arms apart. Suddenly an ocean of keyblades was suspended in mid-air. Xerha continued her dance and then thrusted out her hand pointing a keyblade torward a heartless and it loudged itself in it's chest. Xerha spun around and did the same to a heartless behind her. the heartless began to attack but, she kept sent keyblades into them well. Quickly she thrusted the keyblades at the many heartless around. The ones in the air and the ones on the ground all had a keyblade loudged in their chest. Two heartless got close to her and they attacked for her head but, she leaned back under it and sent two keyblade into their back before she pulled her body back up. She continued to seal the heartless with her many keyblades as she danced in the middle of the battlefield. She slowed her tempo after she sealed the last keyblade into a heartless. She opened her palm and then quickly closed it making the keyblades inside of the heartless do a complete 360 spin slicing them all in half simultaenously. She had taken down every heartless. The keyblades fell to the ground and made a rythmic beat as they fell. Xerha aimed her head into the air with her eyes closed and listened to the sound of the falling keyblades. She turned to Sora and slowly opened her eyes revealing that they were back to normal but, her hair was still long and flowing beautifully. Her clothes changed back and she looked at Zunark.
Xerha: Take your leave Zunark. If I see you again I will kill you.
Zunark: Fine I'll leave my queen. But, you will see me again.
Zunark turned to walk away but, stopped.
Zunark: But, I doubt seriously I'll be the one to die when that happens.
Zunark walked into a dark rift and once Xerha felt his presence disappear she turned to all of the awe strucken eyes behind her. She turned to her friends and her two new friends [Vincent and Shelke] and smiled.
Xerha: I did it. Hahahahahaaaaaaaaaa.
She said right before she passed out on the ground. Shelke ran over to her and checked her but, was looking no better than Xerha at the time. The others ran to her and Sora picked her up. Vincent looked down at Shelke and saw how she was holding her head. He figured she had stressed her self a little too much after the SND. [Synaptic net dive] He pulled her close to him and figured she could use a rest as well. The entire group walked into the castle except for Leon who was standing in the same spot looking at the ground.
Yuffie: That's the girl you treated like that? Shame on you.
Leon: You sure know how to make someone feel worse don't you?
Yuffie: Well, you had it coming.
They both said to each other before they walked into the castle after the others. They laid Xerha and Shelke down in the same bed so that they could sleep. The group looked down at them and smiled.
Aerith: They look so peaceful while they sleep.
Tidus: Yeah almost makes you forget that they fight the way they do.
Shelke spoke in her sleep.
Shelke: Vincent Valentine.
She said in a tone of adoration.
Sora: Seems like she's quite taken to you man..
Xerha: Sora.
Everyone turned to Xerha but, she was still sleep.
Vincent: And she to you.
Riku: Why does he have all the luck?
Rikku: It's not like you don't have.
Riku: Yeah right. Where's my girl then? He has two.
Rikku just frowned at him and turned away.
Riku: What'd I do?
Tidus: You're blind, man.
Riku: What do you mean by that?
Before the conversation could continue the group turned to sounds of movement on the bed. Xerha reached out and grabbed Shelke then she pulled her all the way up to her. Shelke just went with it and welcome the new form of heat against her back. The guys in the group chuckled and quickly left the room to pull their thoughts out of the gutter. It didn't help, not in the least. [Shelke's body had started to age she now looked like she was 16] The girls followed after the boys and they all made their way to the control room. Leon kept looking at Xerha as she slept and he thought about what he said to her.
Leon: I'm such a fool.
Was all he could say before he left for the control room.
Yuffie: Cid did you ever get the systems back up?
Cid: Yep, but by the time I did we didn't need it. So that's that Xerha girl you were talkin' about.
Goofy: Yep. She's the queen of darkness.
Cid: I don't git it. She seems a little too sweet to be the queen of the heartless.
Riku: That's the good side I told you about. She isn't evil.
Leon: How did she do all that?
Kairi: I've actually been wondering that too.
Namine: It seems like she can use the power that was long dorment.
????: I don't think it's that.
Everyone turned around to see that Shelke and Xerha were now up and they found their way to the control room.
Xerha: I didn't call on that power. It just kind of happened.
Aerith: So you're up now. Did you sleep well?
Xerha: Yes, thank you.
The group noticed that the girls had changed clothes before they came back. Shelke was wearing a pink sleeve-less shirt with a white collar and a tan short skirt. Xerha was wearing a red jacket with a black undershirt with a red and blue skirt. For the first time Xerha showed off her legs. The men were lost in how well shaped they were. [Even Leon.]
Xerha: It felt like something inside of me wanted to fight. Then suddenly I was able to do that.
Riku: You changed back to normal afterwards. Maybe that part took the power back.
Sora: It couldn't have.
Sora walked up to Xerha and sent his fingers through her hair.
Sora: Your hair is still long. maybe there's something more to this.
Xerha: You like it?
Sora: Uh.
Sora stepped back and thought on how he had just done something very forward without trying to. He looked at her and thought about the question she just asked and he noticed something. He liked girls with long hair. He liked Kairi before but, when she grew her hair out he couldn't stop looking at her. He looked back to Xerha and thought. She was ten times hotter and that was saying something. Instead of answering he changed the subject.
Sora: So guys is everything ok here?
Yuffie: Yeah since you ran them off I can't see anything else happening. Besides we have the defence system now.
Xerha: Hey guys I still feel a presense here.
Kairi: Is it one of them?
Xerha: No, it seems different. It's at the top of this castle. It's weaker than the others though.
Leon: Maleficent.
Yuna: She's here?
Xerha: The one who cursed you?
Rikku: Yeah.
Tidus: Good now we can get you guys back to normal.
Donald: What are we waiting for?
The group quickly ran out of the door.
Leon: Xerha!
Xerha stopped and turned to Leon as if she was ready for him to say something rude.
Leon: I'm sorry I acted the way I did. I was wrong. There was no excuse for the way I acted. Can you forgive me?
Xerha smiled at how Sora was right.
Xerha: Thank you. I'm sure you had your reasons for being suspicious. And you want to know something?
Leon looked up at Xerha and awaited her to continue.
Xerha: You're actually handsome when you're nice.
She said right before she ran after the rest of the group. Leon stood back blushing where he stood but, still trying to look cool while doing it.
Yuffie: Are you blushing?
Leon: Shut up!
He said as he turned around and walked out of the room. She quickly caught back up with the others. She saw the group but, realized that Vincent and Shelke were not with them.
Goofy: What took ya?
Xerha: Oh nothing. Where is Vincent and Shelke?
Namine: They said they had to take care of something.
Xerha: Really? I wanted to thank them for helping us.
Kairi: We never did? We'll have to find them before we leave. But, right now we have to make good on a promise.
The group walked up the stairs of the castle. Sora, Kairi, and Riku saw many familiar things on their way up. As they walked through the corridor they even saw the place where they fought. Then they approached the Maleficent's room. They could hear her inside talking to what sounded like Pete. They sounded like they were talking about something important. Sora walked up to the door and pulled his keyblade. Before he could knock the door open it opened slightly. Maleficent peeked her head out and looked down at Sora.
Maleficent: Oh it's you. Look I'll kill you later I'm busy.
Sora: You cursed my friends. I want you to break that curse. Or else!
Everyone outside the door pulled their weapons and Maleficent dropped her head as if she was annoyed.
Maleficent: Can't we do this some other time? I'm really stressed out right now.
Sora: No, we're not leaving until you uncurse my friends.
Maleficent: FINE!!
Maleficent stepped out the door and sw the gullwings. She quickly casted a spell and broke the curse. The girls grew back to their normal size and everyone looked so confused.
Maleficent: Now leave me alone!!!!!
She said as she walked back into the room and slammed the door. The group was completely lost. They were confused and weirded out. Donald was the first one to speak.
Donald: Well that was anti-climatic.
Riku: Tell me about it.
Finally for the first time the group turned back to the full sized Gullwings. Tidus looked Yuna up and down then he burst out.
Tidus: Whoa, Yuna you've got a badunkadunk.
Yuna: Really?
Yuna twisted her body to look back.
Yuna: Nice.
Tidus: I agree. Drop it like it's hot.
Yuna dipped down and pulled herself back up slowly.
Yuna: Oh.
Tidus: I like dat.
The girls just laughed but, then they turned back to the boys who had their minds elsewhere. Riku turned to Rikku and checked her full body and did so quite boldly. She blushed at him and he became aware of himself. He stopped and blushed then scratched the back of his neck.
Riku: Y-Y-You look nice.
Rikku: T-Thank you.
The group turned to Paine and were put in awe. She had a tough girl look but, she was very beautiful. Especially in that leather.
Rikku: Wow Paine. Wait til' Leon sees you.
Paine: Shut up!
Xerha: You guys'll make a good couple. You look pretty.
Paine: You think so?
Xerha: Yeah.
Sora: Well anyway let's get out of here.
The group walked down the stairs and all the while kept wondering what Maleficent was doing that was so important.
[In Maleficent's room]
Pete: You kept me waiting for a while.
Maleficent: Sorry. So are you ready?
Pete: Yeah. Get over here and get some chocolate.
Maleficent: Oh, yeah.
Maleficent walked up to the bed that Pete was sitting on and turned off the lights. All that was heard was smacking sounds.
Maleficent: Whoa this is really good chocolate. Where did you say you got it from again?
Pete: Got it imported from Sweden.
Maleficent: Well we'll have to get some more this is awesome.
Pete: I told you.
...........Anyway let's get back to the other. They had finally gotten to the first floor of the castle and were heading to the control room but, suddenly Paine stopped them.
Goofy: What's wrong?
Paine: Let's just go ok.
Sora: You really don't seem like the shy type.
Paine: Please.
The group looked concerned at her then just nodded. They left the castle and headed back to the Gummi ship. Right as soon as they got to it they remembered.
Roxas: We forgot to find Vincent.
Sora: Yeah we have to thank him.
Vincent: So you were looking for me.
Everyone turned to Vincent who was leaning his back against the Gummi ship with Shelke standing next to him.
Sora: Where did you go?
Shelke: We went to prepare for the journey.
Kairi: Huh?
Vincent: We're coming with you. I've taken an interest in your little group. I want to see how this turns out.
Shelke: So hurry up and get on board.
The others didn't even try to argue after what they saw from them. Sora fired up the Gummi ship and the entire group with two new editions left for their next destination. [You really didn't think that I would add someone as cool as Vincent just to make him leave did you?] The group flew through the cosmos and Shelke seemed to be fasicinated by the sights. Which was very much out of character for her. Sora found the next world and landed on it. They were in a town, in front of a school.
Goofy: Where are we?
Xerha: I don't know. Some place called Middleton high school.
Sora: Donald, Goofy I want you guys to lay low. You might creep out the people here.
Sora looked back.
Sora: You too Vincent.
Vincent: Fine, I'll take a look around to see if anything's strange.
Riku: All right we'll meet up later.
Donald and Goofy left with Vincent to investigate the area while others walked into the school.
Xerha: This is gonna be fun.
Tidus: Oh yeah.
Xerha could feel a looming darkness floating around the area but, it was faint meaning that whatever it was wasn't close. At least they could enjoy themselves first. Shelke even looked excited for what would happen next. But, you. You'll have to wait.

Ah that was fun. I liked righting this chapter and I even put my own feelings into some of the events that happened. I like this story and will update as soon as I finish updating the others. Strength's wake will end on the ninth chapter so I want to finsh A.S.A.P. I'll see you soon. Outty.
Ties that bind.
The group ran down the path in front of them seeing the destruction that had been left behind on the city. Sora led the group to the old hangout of the Raidant Garden restoration commitee. Only to find it in shambles he looked around finding no one. Xerha could feel a dark presence floating around the area.
Tidus: How did it get this bad?
Yuna: I don't know. We left before the attack.
Donald: They must've attacked while we were stuck in that car planet.
Sora: Hollow Bastion castle.
Riku: What?
Sora: They have to be there.
He said as he burst out running out down the path in front of them leading to the castle. After reaching the castle they found themselves staring at a very large gate.
????: It's about time you showed up.
The group turned to a brown-haired man with a gunsword and a scar across his face.
Sora: Leon.
Leon: So what took you so long?
Kairi: We kind of caught a snag.
Leon's eyes began to scan the group.
Leon: The group is bigger than I remember.
Goofy: Yeah we made some friends.
Leon: King Mickey isn't with you?
Donald: No he decided it would be best for us to investigate seperately.
Leon: Why?
Leon's eyes rested on a person who seemed to be entirely different from the others. Xerha. He looked into her deep yellow eyes and thrusted his gunblade at her throat. Xerha didn't flinch she just frowned at him. She looked at him with anger in her eyes.
Yuna: Leon what are you doing?
Leon: She's one of them.
Sora: Leon, cut it out man.
Paine: Leon!
Leon turned to Paine and dropped his blade.
Leon: Fine, but you'd better explain everything later.
Leon kept leading everyone down the path but, he never once took his eyes off of Xerha. Yuna flew onto Tidus' shoulder and he looked up at her.
Tidus: What's his problem?
Yuna: He's probably on edge. I mean, look around.
Tidus' eyes returned to Leon who was walking with Paine on his shoulder.
Sora: If only we had gotten here earlier.
Roxas: Don't worry all we have to do now is fix the problem.
Sora: So much for the restoration commitee.
Namine: I really don't think you should talk like that.
Xerha: Are you going to watch me all day? Am I a prisoner?
Everyone in the group turned to Xerha after her outburst.
Leon: So it can talk.
Xerha: It? You don't even know me yet you judge me?
Leon: You're one of those things that attacked us. Why should I trust you?
Sora: Leon hold on a minute.
Leon: Tell me why should I lead a monster to our hideout?
Xerha: I never even did anything to you. You're the one challenging me.
Sora: Leon she's one of us, chill.
Leon: Once again you are too naive.
Xerha: I have no plans on attacking you. You're the one with all the hositlity. My father always told that if someone watches you with such intensity they're challenging you.
Leon: It has a father? I always assumed that you things just crawled out from a puddle somewhere.
Sora: Leon!!
Leon: Is he a monster too?
Xerha: Fuck you!!!
Xerha's eyes started to water and they began to turn full yellow. Leon pulled his gunblade after seeing it. Sora pulled Xerha back and looked into her eyes.
Sora: Xerha, calm down.
Xerha: I didn't do anything to him. I don't have take his insults and I won't!!
Xerha looked at Leon one last time before she turned and ran from the castle. Kairi and Namine followed after her.
Sora: Leon, that was uncalled for, man. Riku take everyone else and keep heading to the castle. I'll go after the girls.
Riku: All right.
Sora and Roxas both took off after the girls. Leon huffed and turned to continue walking. The others grudgingly followed.
Leon: Let's go.
Paine: Leon was that really necessary?
Leon: She's a monster. Monsters don't have feelings.
Xerha had run all the way to the edge of one of Raidant Gardens many cliffs. She sat at the edge and looked down at the bottom. Kairi had finally caught up and was catching her breath as Namine just kept walking.
Kairi: Namine don't you ever run out of breath?
Namine: Nope, I can just teleport.
Kairi stood up and walked along side Namine.
Kairi: Just rub it in, why don't you.
Xerha looked back to the girls and then turned back.
Xerha: You're the last person I thought would have come after me.
Kairi: Why?
Xerha: Because we're rivals.
Kairi: I'm not like that. Are you ok?
Xerha: I guess. I really shouldn't have let him get me that riled up.
Namine: I don't blame you. I probably would have reacted the same way.
Sora: All we have to do is prove him wrong, right.
The girls turned to Sora and Roxas who seemed to just have appeared out of nowhere.
Sora: The worst thing you could do is get mad at what someone says and go around proving them right everyday of your life. The only way to get someone back when they feel that way about you is to prove them wrong. That way no matter how much they feel the way they do at least you will know it's not true. Basically, make him look stupid.
MESSAGE!!!!
Xerha: Thank you guys.
Xerha stood up and wiped the tears from her eyes.
Xerha: I'm ok now. Le......
Xerha stopped and turned to a cave at the side of that she hadn't noticed before.
Kairi: What's wrong?
Xerha: Someone's down there.
Sora: Really? Then let's check out.
Everyone but, Xerha started to walk into the cave.
Xerha: Wait I said there's something down there. We should be walking away from the big scary cave.
Roxas: Hey nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Sora: Yeah, where is your sense of adventure?
Xerha: I'm going on a adventure that spans across mutliple worlds. I believe I brought my sense of adventure. I'm just not so sure about doing insanely reckless things.
Namine: Oh com'n.
Xerha: I know I'm gonna regret this.
Xerha followed the others as they walked into the crystal cave.
[HBC= Hollow bastion castle as if people don't already know.]
Yuffie: Leon you're back.
Leon: Yeah.
Yuffie: Looked around at the group and then began to ask a qeustion but, before she could Aerith burst out.
Aerith: Where is Sora? He isn't here?
Donald: He was here but, Mr. Happy here caused a problem.
Leon: Shut up duck!
Aerith: What kind of problem?
She said taking a man crushing stance that sent shivers down Leon's spine. Cid stood up from the computer and walked up to the group.
Cid: We don't have time for this just tell us what happened.
Leon: I ran off another one of those monster.
Yuffie: Those heartless?
Goofy: Xerha's not a heartless!
Riku: Yes she is.
Tidus: No she isn't. She's the queen of darkness but, not a heartless.
Riku: She explained it all to Me and Sora. She is a heartless just a different kind of them.
Cid: Queen of darkness?
Riku: Xerha is a special kind of heartless that is born with a heart. These heartless are called wholes. Wholes are like humans who are from the dark realm. Xerha is the current queen of these people.
The entire group gave concerned looks at Riku. Leon stood in front of them and stared at Riku.
Leon: Explain it to me from the beginning.
[Crystal cave]
Xerha: Hey guys there are bats down here.
Sora: Are you afraid of bats?
Xerha: No they just freak me out.
Sora: Don't worry I'm here.
Kairi: Sora I'm scared too.
Sora: Then I'll protect you both.
Xerha/Kairi: Thanks Sora.
Roxas/Namine: Oh brother.
The group navigated through the cave until they found themselves in a giant room with pillars everywhere. Xerha felt a presence and quickly pulled her keyblade.
Sora: What's wrong?
Xerha: Cerevune is here.
Cerevune: Sharp as always your highness.
Cerevune stepped from the darkness and removed his mask. He resembled Riku very highly except his hair was longer and he was way more built.
Roxas: What are you doing here?
Cerevune: You should know by now. Everything we do is for the queen.
Roxas stood tall and backed into Sora's body.
Cerevune: Running away?
Sora: No, now I can do this.
Sora took on the Final Drive form [or as I call it the Roxas drive form.] while Xerha materialized another keyblade. Kairi and Namine being the newest in the ways of battle stayed back and waited for the right moment. Sora ran for Cerevune and pointed the two keblades at him causing them to zoom at him. Cerevune dodged both and ran at Sora. He slashed at his head but, Sora rolled under it and zoomed his keyblades into Cerevune's back sending him flipping to the ground. Xerha charged up to Cerevune but, he quickly knocked her back and hurled his keyblade at Sora knocking him to the ground. Cerevune ran at Sora grabing back his keyblade and slashed at Sora sending him skipping across the ground. Sora rolled to his feet and Cerevune grabbed him by his neck then he began whacking Sora with his keyblade in his side. Kairi ran up in behind Cerevune and slashed down at his head knocking him off balance. Xerha punched him in the face and then threw one of her keyblades in the air. She uppercutted Cerevune and while they were both the air she caught her keyblade and did a spinning simultaneous sword slash and Cerevune sliding back along the ground. Sora sent his keyblades forward slashing Cerevune as he got up. He fell back and looked up to see Namine drawing a picture. She drew a warrior nobody and it came to life. The picture came to life and it came with friends.
Namine: Charge!
Cerevune: Crap!
The nobodies attacked furiously knocking back Cerevune until the final hit sent him to the ground hard. Cerevune looked up and began laughing.
Cerevune: This is what I want. A challenge!!!
Cerevune made three other keyblades and two arms shot from his side and grabbed two of the keyblades while he grabbed the thrid. Cerevune steppd to the side and revealed a second version of him.
Cerevunes: Give me a challenge!!!!!
Xerha: Well that's new.
Cerevune and his copy began walking torwards the group and then they burst out running.
[HBC]
Riku had just finished giving his explaination.
Leon: That explains why the king isn't here. If this is true then doesn't that make that girl even more dangerous than the others?
Riku: No. because Xerha is not like them.
Leon: What makes her so different?
Riku: Because she has a good side and a dark side. Each has a different personality. The good side is the one you just insulted.
Leon: Her good side doesn't make things any better.
Riku: Her good side is practically human. She has feelings I'm pretty sure you noticed. Like you said, monsters don't have feelings. But, someone without feelings couldn't cry.
Yuffie: Where is she?
Aerith: Yes can we talk to her?
Donald: That's what I mean by Mr. Happy caused a problem. He made her cry, run off, and Sora followed her. We have no idea where they are right now.
Aerith: Well we should look for them.
Cid: Don't think we have that kind of free time right now.
Tidus: What do you me.....
Before he coulld finsih his question was answered in the form of a blast hitting the castle. Goofy got knocked from his seat and he hit his head, on the wall, outside the room.
Cid: They're back. And there's alot of them.
Yuffie: Is the defence system back up yet?
Cid: No, and it'll take awhile to git it back workin'.
Riku: Then I geuss we'll have to buy you some time. Com'n everybody.
Tidus: Right behind you.
Leon jumped from his seat and Paine jumped onto his shoulder, Rikku jumped onto Riku's, and Yuna on Tidus'. Goofy stood back up and looked at everyone. He looked down at Donald.
Donald: Don't even think about it.
Goofy: Oh com'n.
Donald: No!
Yuffie: We should help too Aerith.
Aerith: Right.
She said with a large smile on her face as she walked outside of the castle.
Cid: Now I only have to git this thing back up. Shouldn't be too hard......I think.
Riku arrived outside and he looked up torwards the hordes of heartless coming torwards them. He looked to the top of the cliff in front of him. Zunark was standing tall looking down on them.
Zunark: Give them hell!!!!
The heartless began their charge at the heroes and they all donned their weapons. They prepared for battle and waited for the collision. Riku stood at the pack and then slashed through the first heartless that came his way. He pointed out his arm and shot his dark cannon at the approaching heartless. He set up his sheild and Goofy ran along side him with his sheild out as well. The two of them rammed their way through the crowd as the others cut through the heartless swarm from in behind them. Riku dropped his sheild and thrusted his keyblade into the chest of one heartless and then he flipped onto the head of a fat heartless. He slapped his keyblade against the heartless' back causing it to fall forward and Tidus ran forward thrusting his sword into it's head. He ripped his sword out and dragged it upwards through the heartless in behind him. Yuna jumped from Tidus' shoulder and blasted with her daul pistols into the crowd of heartless sending them falling back in her wake. She walked forward shooting rapidly then she leaned back shooting the heartless in behind her. Then she moved her body around to face the same way as her arms. Yuna flipped back onto Tidus' shoulder and they smiled at the heartless in front of them but, suddenly a giant shuriken whirled around them sliced through the heartless. Yuffie caught her shuriken and ran in front of the two then she rolled her shuriken along the ground and it cut through the heartless. Yuffie jumped over her shuriken and kicked the heartless that jumped up after her right in the path of the shuriken. After it sliced the heartless Yuffie landed and picked up the shuriken. She turned to the side and saw more heartless pouring in.
Yuffie: Oh boy.
The heartless began to close in on her but, suddenly a red swirl circled around Yuffie. Bullets flew from the swirl and crushed through the body of the heartless coming after her.
Leon: What the hell is that?
Yuffie: Vincent!?
The red swirl emerged from the ground and took the form of a tall man with a long red cape, long black hair, a golden glove, and blood red eyes. He stood in front of Yuffie and pulled a three barreled gun that trumped any gun that any of the warriors had ever seen before. When he pulled the trigger the gun erupted with a cloud of red smoke as the bullets ate away at the body of the heartless. He quickly and stylishly blasted back the heartlless then he turned around with a kick to the face of the heartless that leapt at him from behind. He gave it a going away present that sent it rolling along the ground into a cloud of black smoke. He looked back at a new person that had just arrived on the scene. A brown-haired girl with two blue beam rods in her hands. Her clothes had blue flowing lines running through them. [Yeah I played dirge of cerebus. I hated the way t played but, I loved the story and characters.] She walked forward staring holes into the heartless roaring at her. They waited for the time to strike but, the girl seemed unfazed by the monsters. After she stood in the middle the heartless attacked. The girl flipped above them and came back down with both beam rods aimed at them. She sliced through two at the same time and landed on the ground. Then she span around slashing through the heartless surrounding her. The heartless were blasted back and they disappeared after hitting the ground. A heartless ran at her but, she slashed off it's leg and stabbed through it's stomache after it went in the air. She quickly pulled her rod from it and it rolled to the ground before it vanished.
Vincent: Shelke, over here!
Shelke: Alright.
Shelke ran forward and cut through the heartless heading torwards her then, she jumped into the air and threw her rods into the chest of a heartless. After the heartless vanished she pulled back her rods by the retractable cord attached to them and she rolled in the air until she landed next to Vincent. Heartless continued to advance on them.
Shelke: Vincent Valentine, what is the next course of action?
Vincent: I don't know.
Riku: Hey!
Vincent turned to Riku and he continued.
Riku: We'll take care of things here. Can you go find my friends?
Shelke: Where are they?
Riku: I don't know, one's a brown-haired keyblade weilder and he's with a blue haired girl and a red head. Just ask for Sora and say that Riku sent you.
Vincent: Alright. Just hold them here until we get back.
Vincent's cape covered Shelke and himself then they both took off into the air.
Riku: That is so cool!!!!!!
Yuffie [sigh] Not so much as a "hi".
Aerith: That's just how you is. Cloud's the same way. Right now let's focus on them.
Yuffie turned to the heartless storming at them. Aerith put both of her hands together and began to pray. Suddenly a green light surrounded her and swept the battlefield kiling the heartless around her and everyone else. Zunark smiled and sent another wave after them. Once again the area was filled with heartless. Aerith stood up and held out her staff as she ran into the fight smiling widely. Goofy pointed is sheild to Donald and he casted firaga on it. Goofy turned to the drowd of heartless and bashed his sheild into the face of the biggest one and he watched it vanish in cinders. He turned around into a uppercut to a different heartless then, as they were both in the air he punched through it's chest. As he came back to the ground he smashed another heartless. He stood back to his feet and streched out his arms. He span around and created a flame tornado that incererated every heartless it touched. Donald turned away from Goofy's work and concentrated on the heartless behind him.
Donald: Fantasia!!!
A swarm of mini-missiles appeared above Donald and he launched them into the crowd forming in front of him. Leon slashed downward through the heartless in behind him and turned to Donald who had finished his attack and ran torwards Riku. Leon smiled and stabbed the heartless in front of him then he ripped downward and did a spinning slash that killed two heartless. Leon stood tall and pressed a button on his gunblade that made the blade fall down. Paine retracted the sword she was holding until it went back into it's hilt. Leon's blade fell from his revovler and latched onto Paine's sword hilt. The blade stood 5x times her size but, she held it like it was nothing. The sword began to glow and even seemed to grow larger. Paine swung the sword through three heartless at once. She flipped forward and slashed downward through fives heartless and did a spinning slash before she landed to the ground. Leon held out his revovler and Paine jumped onto it and put her sword into the barrel.
Leon/Paine: Lionheart!!
Leon fired the gun and sent Paine flying into the enemies. The blade sent off a blinding light that destroyed the heartless by just getting near them. Paine turned in mid-air and tossed the sword back to Leon. He caught it back in it's rightful place and caught Paine back on his shoulder.
Riku: Oh, we have to make a team combo like that.
Rikku: Yeah!!
The two looked back at the battlefield and saw more heartless spilling in.
Riku: Damn. Hurry up guys we don't have that much time.
[Crystal Cave]
Cerevune stepped back and took in the sight of the heroes trying to pick themselves up.
Cerevune: Is that all? I should have fought you at the same time as Zunark.
He said right before his cell phone started to ring. He pulled it out and began to talk.
Cerevune: Yes they took the bait. So Zunark is taking care of them. Good it saves me trouble. Alright I'll bring the queen but, what about the other three? Hahaha, With pleasure.
He hung up his phone and walked over to Sora who could barely stand at the moment.
Cerevune: You are no longer needed. Your friends are just as unfortunate as you are. They'll visit you soon. But, you...
He said looking torward Kairi.
Cerevune: You are not that fortunate. I like you, I think I'll keep you alive so that you may perform various "Tasks".
Sora: Don't you dare!!
Xerha: I'll never let you do that.
Cerevune: Sorry to inform you but, you no longer have a choice in the matter.
????: Then why don't I say my piece.
Cerevune turned to see who had spoken but, was only greeted by a bullet to the chest. The blast sent him flying back to the ground and he frowned at the pain he felt. The first thing he saw was a pair of red eyes cutting through the darkness of the cave and it was being followed by flowing blue lines that seemed to lead to two oblongish objects. Three more bullets flew at Cerevune but he dodged them and laid his back against a pillar. Vincent walked over to Sora and looked down at him.
Vincent: Are you Sora?
Sora: Yeah but, how do you know me?
Shelke: The one named Riku asked us to look for you.
Kairi: How did you know we were here.
Shelke: I can attach my mind to any computer in the world. I just used a satelite to check for you location. Vincent Valentine, I will restore those three you handle him.
Vincent: Fine.
Vincent walked to the pillar Cerevune was behind and he jumped at Vincent with his sword pointing in thrusting position. Vincent dodged the blade and tripped Cerevune. Cerevune rolled to his feet and slashed at Vincent's legs only for him to jump onto the keyblade. Vincent stood and pointed his gun at Cerevune's head.
Cerevune: You're good.
Vincent blasted at Cerevune but, he dodged it and pulled his keyblade from under Vincent. Vincent flipped to the ground and shot at Cerevune but, he was too fast to be hit by the attacks. Cerevune flipped back and looked on but, was shocked to see that the entire group was standing back up. Cerevune stepped back and clapped.
Cerevune: I like you. But, I can't stick around. Don't worry.....
The group saw something long slithering through the pillars hidden in the darkness of the cave.
Cerevune: My friend will keep you company. Fight hard and live my queen.
Cerevune stepped back into the darkness and vanished. After he left the shadowy figure moving through the pillars emerged. It was an incredibly long snake heartless. The heartless moved around through the pillars and seperated the others as it's body locked itself into the pillars around it. Xerha had been trapped on it's left side while Kairi and Namine were trapped on the right. Vincent and Shelke were at it's tail around were surrounded by it. Sora, just his luck, was right in it's face and it was staring at him like it wanted to fill it's stomache. It reached out and snapped at Sora but, he jumped over it and made both of his keyblades hit it on it's head knocking it to the ground. It recovered and lashed upward hitting Sora back. He flipped back to his feet and wiped the blood from his mouth. Kairi ran up to it's side and stabbed into it while Xerha did something similar on the other side except with two keyblades. The heartless roared and started to move eratically. Vincent picked up Shelke and jumped in behind it's tail while everyone moved away from it. Their actions were wise, the heartless coiled it's body together and crushed the pillars around it giving it more free room to move around. Everyone gathered back together and looked at the heartless in front of them as it prepared it's next attack. It lashed out at Xerha only to find itself hitting the wall in behind her then it whirled around whipping it's tail at everyone knocking back Xerha and Kairi. Before it could pull it's head back it felt bullets rip through it's back. It rolled around and slithered through the holes in the cave. Vincent looked around and saw that the holes were everywhere and more than likely connected.
Vincent: Shit! Below us!
The group felt rumbling and jumped back as the snake made a new hole as it emerged for them. Sora and Kairi both threw their keyblades at it and made it fall back before it pulled itself back into the hole. They queited themselves to listen to the heartless' movements but, found they couldn't hear anything. Namine drew a picture of ray gun nobodies and all of a sudden the heartless showed itself and went directly for her. She made the nobodies blast the heartless and it swirled off course and slammed into the wall behind them.
Sora: Good shot! [mostly Roxas talking.]
Namine: Thanks.
The heartless turned around and hissed at the group. It slithered at them and prepared for it's attack but, Shelke stepped up. She threw her rods into the neck of the heartless and then pulled the wires to the side causing the heartless' head to whip into the wall. Then she pulled them upward slamming it's head into the ceiling of the cave. The heartless wheeled around and tail whipped the entire group back to the wall at the back of the cave. As they recovered they noticed that the heartless rushing at them with it's mouth open wide. Xerha stepped up and stabbed her keyblades into the top and bottom of the heartless' mouth and then ripped them both out. She jumped back to the group and watched the heartless roll around in pain. Sora, Kairi, and Xerha pointed their keyblades at the heartless. Namine made three ray gun nobodies while Vincent pulled out hs Cerberus and pointed it at the heartless. Shelke drew a weapon that she had been saving for just a time like this, her Cerberus MkII. It looked like Vincent's but it had her signature blue lines flowing through it. At the same time everyone shot at the heartless and to their suprise the blasts fused together and grew bigger. The blast eradicated the heartless and blasted a hole through the ceiling of the cave.
Xerha: Whoa!
Sora: Now, we have to name that.
Vincent: Later, we have somewhere to be.
Kairi: Right.
The group jumped through the hole in the ceiling and Vincent took them all into his cape before flying back to the battlefeild. He noticed that Shelke was acting sluggish. Xerha looked down and saw the heroes on their last leg and Zunark standing on the cliff above a sea of heartless. Vincent landed and the group ran for the battle but, Xerha was acting strange. Before Sora could reach the battle he lost control of his drive form.
Sora: Damn, not now.
He looked up to see Xerha walking torwards the heartless with her eyes full yellow.
Riku: Xerha. What are you.....
Xerha seemed as if she was in a trance she just walked forward to the field of heartless that just stared at her. All of the warriors stopped fighting and turned to her as the heartless seemed to be more interested in her now anyway.

As Xerha walked light particles began falling from her clothes pieces by piece and it actually created a kind of rythmic sound to it. Her clothes turned black under the particles of light that dropped. Xerha swung her head from side to side and her normally short hair grew out and flowed in the breeze. Xerha crossed her arms and grabbed her shoulders as she did. Then she threw her arms apart and the rest of the light particles broke into the air and shattered. Her clothes were now full black. She opened her arms and walked through the crowd of heartless and they began to follow her. She looked around through the crowd as the heartless followed and Zunark smiled from his perch. Xerha stood in the middle of the crowd and the heartless began to float around as the queen she was. Xerha looked up at Zunark and smiled. Leon's eyes narrowed as he looked at her. All the while thinking about how naive everyone was to fall for her tricks. Suddenly Xerha began to spun her hands and two keyblades zoomed to them. She slashed to the side cutting through the heartless and she turned with a cross slash. She flipped back over a slash a heartless took at her then she landed on the ground with a spinning double slash. She threw her keyblade forward and cut through the heartless in a line and then did a jumping sword uppercut with a single keyblade before she caught her second one. She landed on the ground and then she cut off the heads of the heartless in behind her before she continued to walk forward. She looked around at the now irate heartless she walked for as the heartless followed in behind her. She tossed her two keyblades in behind her and they latched onto her back. She made two more keyblades and she did the same with them. When the four keyblades were latched onto her back she made two new keyblades as she walked but, she held those in her hands.
Xerha: This is me alone.
Xerha crossed her keyblades and the heartless charged at her from behind. The keyblades on her back streched out and ripped through the heartless coming at her the she swung around cut through the surrounding heartless before the keyblade retracted and went in front of her stabbing through random heartless like a pair of spider legs. The heartless jumped over her from everywhere. She stood tall as her hair grew and stabbed through the heartless like pikes. She stabbed her two keyblades through a heartless then ripped them in opposite directions before she slashed back with a single blade. She walked back through the crowd and folded her arms as the keyblades on her back stabbed through every heartless around her before she stabbed them in the ground and made them come from the ground. The keyblades ripped through the ground and cut the heartless around her. After the attack they reemerged and came back to her. Xerha started to cartwheeled down the path and her then she tossed all six keyblades in different directions. The keyblades swirled around cutting through random heartless for a while before the returned to her and floated around her. Xerha walked around as the keyblades flew around her wildly. She crossed arms once again and smiled as she did. Heartless poured in around her and attacked from every direction. Xerha closed her eyes and waited for the right moment during the attack. When it came she chuckled ad spun out of the way or a falling heartless. She did a backwards cartwheel out of the way of a different attack then she rolled on the ground before she flipped back to her feet. Her body movements were like dance steps and they were like peotry in motion. Her hair flowed with her movement and shined a brillant blue in the sunlight. The warriors were entralled and the heartless were enraged. She danced away, flowing beautifully in her steps dodging the attacks of the heartless with each step and as she did the keyblades around her cut through them as she dodged. The boys on the feild found her dance almost sensual. Cid watched from inside and wondered if he even should finish getting the defence systems back up. They seemed so unneccessary now. After failing to hit Xerha for so long the heartless backed off. Xerha stood up and held her shoulders once again. The keyblades around her flew into the sky and she quickly thrusted her arms apart. Suddenly an ocean of keyblades was suspended in mid-air. Xerha continued her dance and then thrusted out her hand pointing a keyblade torward a heartless and it loudged itself in it's chest. Xerha spun around and did the same to a heartless behind her. the heartless began to attack but, she kept sent keyblades into them well. Quickly she thrusted the keyblades at the many heartless around. The ones in the air and the ones on the ground all had a keyblade loudged in their chest. Two heartless got close to her and they attacked for her head but, she leaned back under it and sent two keyblade into their back before she pulled her body back up. She continued to seal the heartless with her many keyblades as she danced in the middle of the battlefield. She slowed her tempo after she sealed the last keyblade into a heartless. She opened her palm and then quickly closed it making the keyblades inside of the heartless do a complete 360 spin slicing them all in half simultaenously. She had taken down every heartless. The keyblades fell to the ground and made a rythmic beat as they fell. Xerha aimed her head into the air with her eyes closed and listened to the sound of the falling keyblades. She turned to Sora and slowly opened her eyes revealing that they were back to normal but, her hair was still long and flowing beautifully. Her clothes changed back and she looked at Zunark.
Xerha: Take your leave Zunark. If I see you again I will kill you.
Zunark: Fine I'll leave my queen. But, you will see me again.
Zunark turned to walk away but, stopped.
Zunark: But, I doubt seriously I'll be the one to die when that happens.
Zunark walked into a dark rift and once Xerha felt his presence disappear she turned to all of the awe strucken eyes behind her. She turned to her friends and her two new friends [Vincent and Shelke] and smiled.
Xerha: I did it. Hahahahahaaaaaaaaaa.
She said right before she passed out on the ground. Shelke ran over to her and checked her but, was looking no better than Xerha at the time. The others ran to her and Sora picked her up. Vincent looked down at Shelke and saw how she was holding her head. He figured she had stressed her self a little too much after the SND. [Synaptic net dive] He pulled her close to him and figured she could use a rest as well. The entire group walked into the castle except for Leon who was standing in the same spot looking at the ground.
Yuffie: That's the girl you treated like that? Shame on you.
Leon: You sure know how to make someone feel worse don't you?
Yuffie: Well, you had it coming.
They both said to each other before they walked into the castle after the others. They laid Xerha and Shelke down in the same bed so that they could sleep. The group looked down at them and smiled.
Aerith: They look so peaceful while they sleep.
Tidus: Yeah almost makes you forget that they fight the way they do.
Shelke spoke in her sleep.
Shelke: Vincent Valentine.
She said in a tone of adoration.
Sora: Seems like she's quite taken to you man..
Xerha: Sora.
Everyone turned to Xerha but, she was still sleep.
Vincent: And she to you.
Riku: Why does he have all the luck?
Rikku: It's not like you don't have.
Riku: Yeah right. Where's my girl then? He has two.
Rikku just frowned at him and turned away.
Riku: What'd I do?
Tidus: You're blind, man.
Riku: What do you mean by that?
Before the conversation could continue the group turned to sounds of movement on the bed. Xerha reached out and grabbed Shelke then she pulled her all the way up to her. Shelke just went with it and welcome the new form of heat against her back. The guys in the group chuckled and quickly left the room to pull their thoughts out of the gutter. It didn't help, not in the least. [Shelke's body had started to age she now looked like she was 16] The girls followed after the boys and they all made their way to the control room. Leon kept looking at Xerha as she slept and he thought about what he said to her.
Leon: I'm such a fool.
Was all he could say before he left for the control room.
Yuffie: Cid did you ever get the systems back up?
Cid: Yep, but by the time I did we didn't need it. So that's that Xerha girl you were talkin' about.
Goofy: Yep. She's the queen of darkness.
Cid: I don't git it. She seems a little too sweet to be the queen of the heartless.
Riku: That's the good side I told you about. She isn't evil.
Leon: How did she do all that?
Kairi: I've actually been wondering that too.
Namine: It seems like she can use the power that was long dorment.
????: I don't think it's that.
Everyone turned around to see that Shelke and Xerha were now up and they found their way to the control room.
Xerha: I didn't call on that power. It just kind of happened.
Aerith: So you're up now. Did you sleep well?
Xerha: Yes, thank you.
The group noticed that the girls had changed clothes before they came back. Shelke was wearing a pink sleeve-less shirt with a white collar and a tan short skirt. Xerha was wearing a red jacket with a black undershirt with a red and blue skirt. For the first time Xerha showed off her legs. The men were lost in how well shaped they were. [Even Leon.]
Xerha: It felt like something inside of me wanted to fight. Then suddenly I was able to do that.
Riku: You changed back to normal afterwards. Maybe that part took the power back.
Sora: It couldn't have.
Sora walked up to Xerha and sent his fingers through her hair.
Sora: Your hair is still long. maybe there's something more to this.
Xerha: You like it?
Sora: Uh.
Sora stepped back and thought on how he had just done something very forward without trying to. He looked at her and thought about the question she just asked and he noticed something. He liked girls with long hair. He liked Kairi before but, when she grew her hair out he couldn't stop looking at her. He looked back to Xerha and thought. She was ten times hotter and that was saying something. Instead of answering he changed the subject.
Sora: So guys is everything ok here?
Yuffie: Yeah since you ran them off I can't see anything else happening. Besides we have the defence system now.
Xerha: Hey guys I still feel a presense here.
Kairi: Is it one of them?
Xerha: No, it seems different. It's at the top of this castle. It's weaker than the others though.
Leon: Maleficent.
Yuna: She's here?
Xerha: The one who cursed you?
Rikku: Yeah.
Tidus: Good now we can get you guys back to normal.
Donald: What are we waiting for?
The group quickly ran out of the door.
Leon: Xerha!
Xerha stopped and turned to Leon as if she was ready for him to say something rude.
Leon: I'm sorry I acted the way I did. I was wrong. There was no excuse for the way I acted. Can you forgive me?
Xerha smiled at how Sora was right.
Xerha: Thank you. I'm sure you had your reasons for being suspicious. And you want to know something?
Leon looked up at Xerha and awaited her to continue.
Xerha: You're actually handsome when you're nice.
She said right before she ran after the rest of the group. Leon stood back blushing where he stood but, still trying to look cool while doing it.
Yuffie: Are you blushing?
Leon: Shut up!
He said as he turned around and walked out of the room. She quickly caught back up with the others. She saw the group but, realized that Vincent and Shelke were not with them.
Goofy: What took ya?
Xerha: Oh nothing. Where is Vincent and Shelke?
Namine: They said they had to take care of something.
Xerha: Really? I wanted to thank them for helping us.
Kairi: We never did? We'll have to find them before we leave. But, right now we have to make good on a promise.
The group walked up the stairs of the castle. Sora, Kairi, and Riku saw many familiar things on their way up. As they walked through the corridor they even saw the place where they fought. Then they approached the Maleficent's room. They could hear her inside talking to what sounded like Pete. They sounded like they were talking about something important. Sora walked up to the door and pulled his keyblade. Before he could knock the door open it opened slightly. Maleficent peeked her head out and looked down at Sora.
Maleficent: Oh it's you. Look I'll kill you later I'm busy.
Sora: You cursed my friends. I want you to break that curse. Or else!
Everyone outside the door pulled their weapons and Maleficent dropped her head as if she was annoyed.
Maleficent: Can't we do this some other time? I'm really stressed out right now.
Sora: No, we're not leaving until you uncurse my friends.
Maleficent: FINE!!
Maleficent stepped out the door and sw the gullwings. She quickly casted a spell and broke the curse. The girls grew back to their normal size and everyone looked so confused.
Maleficent: Now leave me alone!!!!!
She said as she walked back into the room and slammed the door. The group was completely lost. They were confused and weirded out. Donald was the first one to speak.
Donald: Well that was anti-climatic.
Riku: Tell me about it.
Finally for the first time the group turned back to the full sized Gullwings. Tidus looked Yuna up and down then he burst out.
Tidus: Whoa, Yuna you've got a badunkadunk.
Yuna: Really?
Yuna twisted her body to look back.
Yuna: Nice.
Tidus: I agree. Drop it like it's hot.
Yuna dipped down and pulled herself back up slowly.
Yuna: Oh.
Tidus: I like dat.
The girls just laughed but, then they turned back to the boys who had their minds elsewhere. Riku turned to Rikku and checked her full body and did so quite boldly. She blushed at him and he became aware of himself. He stopped and blushed then scratched the back of his neck.
Riku: Y-Y-You look nice.
Rikku: T-Thank you.
The group turned to Paine and were put in awe. She had a tough girl look but, she was very beautiful. Especially in that leather.
Rikku: Wow Paine. Wait til' Leon sees you.
Paine: Shut up!
Xerha: You guys'll make a good couple. You look pretty.
Paine: You think so?
Xerha: Yeah.
Sora: Well anyway let's get out of here.
The group walked down the stairs and all the while kept wondering what Maleficent was doing that was so important.
[In Maleficent's room]
Pete: You kept me waiting for a while.
Maleficent: Sorry. So are you ready?
Pete: Yeah. Get over here and get some chocolate.
Maleficent: Oh, yeah.
Maleficent walked up to the bed that Pete was sitting on and turned off the lights. All that was heard was smacking sounds.
Maleficent: Whoa this is really good chocolate. Where did you say you got it from again?
Pete: Got it imported from Sweden.
Maleficent: Well we'll have to get some more this is awesome.
Pete: I told you.
...........Anyway let's get back to the other. They had finally gotten to the first floor of the castle and were heading to the control room but, suddenly Paine stopped them.
Goofy: What's wrong?
Paine: Let's just go ok.
Sora: You really don't seem like the shy type.
Paine: Please.
The group looked concerned at her then just nodded. They left the castle and headed back to the Gummi ship. Right as soon as they got to it they remembered.
Roxas: We forgot to find Vincent.
Sora: Yeah we have to thank him.
Vincent: So you were looking for me.
Everyone turned to Vincent who was leaning his back against the Gummi ship with Shelke standing next to him.
Sora: Where did you go?
Shelke: We went to prepare for the journey.
Kairi: Huh?
Vincent: We're coming with you. I've taken an interest in your little group. I want to see how this turns out.
Shelke: So hurry up and get on board.
The others didn't even try to argue after what they saw from them. Sora fired up the Gummi ship and the entire group with two new editions left for their next destination. [You really didn't think that I would add someone as cool as Vincent just to make him leave did you?] The group flew through the cosmos and Shelke seemed to be fasicinated by the sights. Sora looked back.
Sora: You too Vincent.
Vincent: Fine, I'll take a look around to see if anything's strange.
Riku: All right we'll meet up later.
Donald and Goofy left with Vincent to investigate the area while others walked into the school.
Xerha: This is gonna be fun.
Tidus: Oh yeah.
Xerha could feel a looming darkness floating around the area but, it was faint meaning that whatever it was wasn't close. At least they could enjoy themselves first. Shelke even looked excited for what would happen next. But, you. You'll have to wait.
