Kingdom Hearts: Supreme Adventure

(Author’s Notes: Hey everyone. Sorry for the delay, but I have been a bit lazy since I got out of college with a degree. I have only work now, but I have been enjoying the fact that there are no more tests or exams for me to do anymore.
Darien: Right now, let’s focus on the situation here. Riku and company are landing in Cinderella’s world, Sora and his two new girl friends… hehehehe… are in the world of the Jungle Book, and Pete is gathering an army of Heartless for Maleficent.
DJ: The Gullwings are going to help Sora out, but only when they need to.
Now, on with the fanfic!)
Return Mowgli to the Man-Village
Sora and his two companions, the princesses Ariel and Jasmine, were bounding off in their new forms after Bagheera the panther. The two girls were simply enjoying their new animal bodies to the fullest, Ariel making spectacular turns and dives in her avian form. “This is truly fantastic! I could do this all day!” she exclaimed in pure joy as she zigged and zagged through the thick foliage as they followed Bagheera. The male Keybearer could not help but smile as he saw the former mermaid have fun as she “swam” through the air.
Jasmine was enjoying her new form as well, becoming the sleek and agile feline that she naturally was in spirit. The princess of the sand leaped and ran through the jungle, keeping up with Bagheera easily and surprising the wise panther with her twisting and turning of her body in the air and landing perfectly on all four paws. “Sora, this is amazing! I never felt so flexible and agile in all my life, even when I was human!” she exclaimed as well before he leapt high into a tree and came back down with grace and pose on all four feet.
Bagheera turned curiously to them and inquired, “Was human? Are you saying that you three used to be human?” Sora thought quickly and replied no, fabricating an explanation saying that they often dreamed they were human and the dreams were realistic to them. The old panther was a bit puzzled by the explanation, but took it at face value and continued onward. The orangutan Sora breathed out a sigh of relief, thankful that he thought on something quickly.
The four made their way through the jungle and soon came to a clearing. Bagheera stood on top of a large branch, joined by Sora and the girls. “Now listen, this scene might be strange to the three of you. But, rest assured it is real and also safe.” the black male panther told them. This puzzled the trio greatly, until they saw someone come out to the clearing. It was a human boy! He was a dark brown skin color, with black unruly hair and bright black eyes. He was short and lanky, but possessed strength in terms of agility. He only wore a red loincloth of sort around his waist area, similar to what Tarzan wore according to Sora.
“Is that a human boy?” Jasmine whispered in a bewildered state. Bagheera nodded his head, but he told them that most animals including him call him a man-cub since he is still just a young boy. He also explained that his name was Mowgli, adopted by the wolf pack and being one with the jungle. Just then, Mowgli howled strangely and in a few minutes was pounced on by wolves! Sora was about to jump in and defend, until he saw that the wolves were licking and pawing at the man-cub. They were playing with him!
“Wow… that’s incredible! A man welcomed by animals, it’s just too unreal to believe!” Jasmine stated. The scene captivated Ariel, for she had never seen wolves before. Bagheera chuckled and remarked that nature was indeed mysterious, both in good and bad ways. However, the panther sighed and a look of worry crossed his face. Sora caught on to it and inquired on what was wrong.
“I believe that soon… it will be time for Mowgli to return to his own kind. I have a feeling that when the time is right, he will be sent away to go to a man-village and live the rest of his life there rather then here in the jungle.” Bagheera answered. Ariel and Jasmine were puzzled and asked on why Mowgli had to return since it was obvious that he was welcomed in the jungle. The panther answered that while some welcomed the man-cub, many did not and there was one other that would do anything in his power to see Mowgli vanish from the jungle permanently. Sora was now curious, but now cautious.
‘From what Bagheera said, this one animal could prove to be a big pain for us. If he found out what we really are.’ he thought. The man-cub and the wolves soon went back to the protection of the jungle, leaving the clearing. Bagheera jumped down and was about to go in another direction when he saw an old ocelot barreling in on the scene. He was old, according to Jasmine who noticed how pale its coat was and also from its sluggish movements. When it fell flat on its side, it was revealed to be a female. Bagheera ran to her and gasped slightly at seeing the wounds on her body.
“Hey, are you okay? Tell us, who did this to you?!” Bagheera inquired firmly. Although shaken, he was quick to be firm and show it. The ocelot lady gasped in some breathes, and Sora knew they would be her last. Jasmine and Ariel joined him as the three approached Bagheera and inspected the ocelot’s wounds to see if they could be healed in time. Sad to say, their inspection confirmed that she did not have much time left.
“Shere Khan… he has… returned to… this part.. of the jungle…” the elder cat spoke out softly before her head slumped to the ground, eyes now devoid of life. Ariel and Jasmine moved closer to Sora, who was not frightened but saddened on these events. Bagheera was now worried more then ever. To him, Shere Khan was a danger to nearly everything he came into contact with. In nearly every jungle he was in, be it the one they were currently in right now or not, the beast brought chaos and fear. But if the tiger was indeed back, it would be certain that Mowgli’s days in the jungles were now numbered severely.
“I have to go and inform this to the Wolf pack at once. With Shere Khan returning, Mowgli’s life is now in grave danger!” Bagheera quickly stated before making a streak towards the west. Sora and the girls were surprised by his haste and tried their best to catch up with him. As the trio caught up with Bagheera, they were unaware that they were followed as well by Rikku, Paine, and Yuna. The tiny Gullwings were hiding amidst the tall grass, keeping up but just barely.
“Awww, why did they have to run just now?! I was just catching my breath trying to keep up with them!” Rikku whined. Paine said nothing but Yuna was more concerned about being caught by animals that ate others their size. The small but feisty girls were startled at the sight of the now-deceased ocelot, but even more so when she told them about Shere Khan. Apparently to them, this Khan character was major bad news. “Come on Gullwings! We need to keep an eye on Sora, he may need our help more then he realizes.” Yuna said.
~At Kingdom Hearts~
Syndrome was paying attention to the monitor he installed at the lower portion of the castle. He was not alone, for Demona and Sykes were with him. The trio were paying attention to Sora’s situation in the jungle world, and all three of them were amused that their leader Adel considered the brat and his two companions to be a threat. “The boy is a clumsy fool, especially since that form he took suits him greatly.” Demona put in. Sykes and his Dobermans seemed to agree with the demonic-looking gargoyle but Syndrome had a different opinion.
“The kid is good, that’s all I know. Looking back at those old data files, its safe to assume that Sora can be a big enough threat if we allow him to continue on like this.” the dressed super-villain stated. The two powerful, in their worlds at least, villains had, reluctantly, agree with Syndrome’s assessment. Looking at the young teen, the two had to admit the he had some skill. Still, the prospect of facing this wielder of the Keyblade and his companions was something of a rush for them. For Demona, it would be a first to fight a human that could keep up with her. For Sykes, a chance to see if his muscle power was still as formidable as it were back in his homeworld of New York City.
Their train of thought was interrupted by Negaduck. The hot-headed, evil-loving duck from St. Canard just burst in and shouted out “Come on, you losers! The boss wants us to secure a new pet for her. It’s in the world where that brat Sora is. Now get the lead out and move it!” Negaduck then brushed past them without as much as glancing, leaving through the opposite door. Demona and Sykes bristled visibly on the nerve of being ordered around like lackeys, but they had no other choice. It was with Adel’s way… or Death’s way.
“I’ll see what the kid’s other friends are doing. You all do what Adel ordered, otherwise this is gonna get messy quick.” Syndrome said. Demona grumbled before spreading her wings and flying off, while Sykes went out the doors with his faithful pets at his side. Once they were gone, Syndrome turned his attention back to the screen and switched the visual from the jungle to the late 1800’s French world. The flame-haired youth was wondering if the kids and the King’s goofballs were sufficient enough to be labeled as potential threats, such as when Adel labeled Sora and his girl friends as threats to her plan.
~In Cinderella’s World~
Riku and Kairi were exploring the world of Cinderella, getting a lot of odd stares from the locals. Not only due to their clothes and styles, but also for being in the company of a talking dog and duck in clothing. “Riku, do you have an idea on why the locator pointed out to this world?” Kairi whispered to her boyfriend. The silver-haired teen sighed and replied in a low voice that he had an assumption that there was either a small Gummi Ship in this world or at least fragments of one.
Donald quickly jumped up and a look of realization hit him. “Guys, I know where we are! We’re in Cinderella’s world!” he exclaimed. Goofy then added in that Cinderella was one of the Princesses of Heart, like Kairi having both a pure and very strong heart. Riku recalled him kidnapping the young lady during his search for Kairi, but he didn’t let that fact slip out for obvious reasons. His girlfriend asked a nearby person for directions to where Cinderella lived, and the elder gentleman pointed towards the massive white castle in the distance.
“Gwarsh! That Cinderella really knows how to live!” Goofy exclaimed in surprise. Riku paid no heed to the splendor of the castle and motioned for everyone to follow him. As they left the town square and went to a local inn, the group gathered together in the back of the lobby to talk away from eavesdroppers. Riku then stated in a low whisper that all of them would head out to the castle under the cover of darkness and try to see Cinderella. Kairi and the others were surprised and asked on why they could not go now and see the princess.
“For one thing, no commoners would be able to see the princess or any other members of the royal family unless an appointment was made. I know that for a fact. Also, it will also give us a chance to also snoop around and find out what exactly attracted us here in the first place. The locator picked up a Gummi signature, and it could mean that someone else is or was here that has the ability to also use a Gummi Ship to enter into space and travel to other worlds.” he explained to them. That did make a lot of sense to the group, finding out the exact nature of a Gummi ship or item being in this world while also checking up on Cinderella.
“The ship may need a couple of days to cool down. After we check up on Cinderella and the Gummi mystery, we’ll head back out to look for Sora!” Kairi suggested. The three males agreed with her, put together what money they had and rented rooms for two days. It was tight, but they managed to get two rooms; one for Kairi and Riku, and one for Donald and Goofy. The four went upstairs to enter their rooms, to get some sleep and also to talk about some random events until the time was right to execute their plan.
~Back in the Jungle Book~
It was now nighttime, and many animals were gathered in a place called Council Rock. A number of wolves, two panthers, an exotic bird, and an orangutan had come together to discuss the future of one individual. Bagheera had given the news of Shere Khan’s return to the jungle to the Elder of the pack, and he in turn started to gather everyone to their place of meeting. Of course, Bagheera introduced him to his new acquaintances and the old wolf studied each of them for a moment. In a few moments, he deemed them fit to stay and watch the meeting. This was to determine the future of one of their own, the adoptive man-cub Mowgli.
“Shere Khan will surely kill the boy! And all who try to protect him. Now, are we all in agreement on what must be done?” the elder inquired to all of the wolf pack. Each wolf nodded their heads, their faces firm and grim. However, one wolf stood away from the pack. It was Raith, the male wolf who had took Mowgli has his own when he was a baby along with his mate. The elder soon called for him, and the saddened father approached the rock on where his leader sat upon.
“The decision has been made. The man-cub can no longer stay with the Wolf Pack. He must leave at once.” was the declaration. When the father exclaimed his dismay at the decision, the old wolf sadly shook his head and explained that there was no other way. “But, but the man-cub is like my own son. Surely he’s entitled to the protection of the pack.” Raith suggested. The elder looked up in slight surprise and stated in truth that not even the strength of the entire pack was no match for the tiger. However, Raith pleaded that Mowgli could not survive in the jungle by himself.
“Perhaps I can be of service.” Bagheera offered as he dropped down from the tree limb he was on. Jasmine stood beside Sora on the ground, while Ariel was perched on his head. When the Elder asked on how Bagheera could help, the wise panther informed them that he knew of a Man-Village where Mowgli could be safe. “Mowgli and I have taken many trips into the jungle before, and I know he’ll come with me.” Bagheera added in. That was when Sora and his companions made their presence more well known.
“We’ll come with you, Bagheera. I got a feeling that you’ll need our help.” Sora said. Bagheera accepted their help, somewhere in his instincts telling him that these three would be of useful help to him down the road. The Elder wolf declared it so, and wished the four good luck. Sora and his friends followed Bagheera down a stony path, heading into the jungle and going to pick up Mowgli. As they left, they were once again trailed by the tiny Gullwings.
“Man, this Shere Khan dude must be pretty strong if he can strike fear into the hearts of these cute doggies!” Rikku squealed as she took a last glance at the wolves. Paine did not completely agree with her, but had to admit that wolves were strong and for a single tiger to cause them to bend their tails in fear… that was a force to be reckoned with. Yuna was about to say something when she saw a speck of black and white in the tall green grass. The leader of the Gullwings knew that animals who lived in an environment had markings and such on their bodies to blend in and be less seen. The speck caused her suspicion and curiosity to be aroused.
“Yunie? What’s wrong?” Rikku asked upon seeing her friend’s serious face. Yuna shook her head a little and glanced back at Rikku, but when she turned to see the place where she saw the speck again, it was gone. “Nothing… I just thought I saw something strange, that’s all.” she answered back. The girls were a bit puzzled by Yuna’s actions, but shrugged it off and all three got back on track on keeping an eye on Sora.
~In Kingdom Hearts~
Adel was overseeing the production & transformation of the Heartless and Nobodies into her latest creation, the Melders. However, she at first started to fuse the Shadow and Dusk to create more formidable minions. Now, she was now trying to fuse the advanced versions of the Heartless and Nobodies together and seemed to be having trouble. Several attempts to try to fuse the Soldier with the Creeper, but all failed and it was starting to annoy the powerful sorceress.
“My patience is wearing thin. I must create more advanced minions for me soon! The Melders are formidable, but more is needed in order to combat Sora and my potential soon-to-be successors!” Adel exclaimed in a tone that did not bode well for any soul that was near her vicinity. After seeing another attempt fail, in a brief show of frustration, she let loose her power and that set off something terrible! A Soldier Heartless was thrown back by the shockwave and landed into an Assassin Nobody. Pure, raw power from Adel’s lighting bolt hit both minions and they started to fuse together successfully!
Adel was surprised, and also pleased with the results. “So… it seems that the Heartless and Nobodies have to be compatible in order to fuse successfully. Interesting…” she said to herself as the light died down and the new fused being came into view. It was about 6’11, lithe muscles all in his arms and legs. It wore black/silver metal armor, and its face was hidden from view by a helmet that resembled that of a hawk. On its arms were gauntlets that had sharp spines protruding from the sides, and its hands had sharp claws like that of a dragon. It had a stance that would show it was wide-open for attack, but a keen eye would detect that it was waiting for the opponent to make the first move which it could then counter attack quickly.
Adel was smiling viciously, very glad to see that something was coming into fruition. “This new minion shall be called Arrow Knight, for his armor and looks give off the quality of a sharp arrow.” she declared in total satisfaction. She was even more satisfied when the newly fused being lifted its arm in a stance similar to holding a shield, and the spikes on his gauntlets shot out of it like arrows! It embedded deep in the wall, and a new set of spikes rose to replace the ones that were just shot. It seemed that things are going to be grim for the heroes/heroines now.
