Kingdom Hearts Fan Fiction ❯ Temporary Deafness ❯ Chapter 1

Taking a nap where no one can see a person is nice, but when a certain melodious nocturne comes tuning his instrument, it's not the nicest place to nap. So, when I woke up, I couldn't hear a blasted thing.

 

Seeing me, Demyx started saying something. I assumed that he was saying something along, “Oh! I didn't know you were here,” sort of thing since he looked surprise. His eyes widened in realization as he saw that I wasn't able to hear him.

 

Now he was saying something repeatedly over and over again. Assuming it to be sorry, I just shrugged before walking out of the room.

 

Demyx stopped me and pointed up then at me. He did the motions again as he saw that I didn't comprehend what he was saying. Frowning, he did a different hand motion, he held up one finger and my eyes widened in understanding. He grinned and his lips formed the words, “The Superior wants to see you.”

 

Well, I guessed that was what he said. My ears were still ringing after all.

 

With a nod to Demyx, I headed for the chamber that I often found the Superior at. He saw me the moment I came in and his lips formed words that I couldn't hear still. Not wanting him to know that I was temporarily deaf, I nodded at various times. I mean, it was just a mission right?

 

After a moment, he dismissed me with a wave of his hand and I left. Phew, now I just had to wait until I got my hearing back before going back in there. No point in going out on a mission that I had no clue what it was after all. Grinning, I walked off to find another place to nap.

 

 

Xemnas sat there watching as his newest subordinate left. It was puzzling how you could be so positive about cleaning the place up. He had told you to wash every inch of the place, but still no reaction. Just a nod now and then. Oh well, he'd send Saix out after you later if you're napping as you usually do during a mission.
