CHAPTER EIGHT DIO'S OBSESSION

 

 

 

 

RECAP:

“Well I think that is enough for one night don't you? I guess I will let you finish bathing but just remember one thing you are my mate, mine, so don't get any ideas.” And with that Dio left Lavi crying there in the corner he quickly waded through the water climbing the stairs and quickly pulled on his clothes turning to flash Lavi a smile and mouthed the words mine like some bratty kid to a new toy and swept out of the bathroom.

 

NOW ON WITH THE STORY

 

Lavi sat there in shock as silent tears flowed down her cheeks again, the word mine ringing in her ears. She shook her head snapping herself out of her daze quickly washing Dio's grim and sweat from her hoping that he was done with her for the night. Her hands trembled as she rinsed her sore body. When she remembered what Dio had said about a child her hands slowly moved to her stomach lightly pressing on it. Lavi didn't know how Dio could already know when she herself didn't. Her eyes grew wide at the thought of Claus and how he would call her a whore no matter what she said or did.

 

Lavi pushed her thoughts aside knowing that she had to hurry and finish otherwise someone might see her and guess her secret. She jerked back when she went to wash her chest forgetting about the wound there and quickly rinsed it feeling a sting from the soap. She couldn't help but wonder what kind of person Dio Ecleare was that he would hurt the person he wanted to bear his child. Lavi got up and waded through the water almost slipping as she saw her reflection in the mirror over the sink. Her face was deathly pale as she looked at the stranger looking back at her and slowly lowered her eyes while reaching for the tube she had left on the counter. She unscrewed the cap and squeezed some onto a finger clinching her teeth as she applied it to her wound. She then turned on the sink rinsing her hand and one again opened the first aid box on the wall replacing the tube and taking out some gauze and tape. Lavi folded the gauze small enough to just barley cover her wound with one hand and with the other pulled out some tape using her teeth to rip is off using two pieces of tape in a crisscross pattern and replaced what was left of the tape in the box closing it.

 

Lavi's mind felt slow as she dressed herself pulling on her robe and wrapping it around herself as far as she could and knotted the belt in place. She slowly opened the door peeking into the hall and was met with a pair of lips. Lavi jumped back as an arm reached out to keep the door open. She shook her head in disbelief slowly taking a few steps back from the person at the door.

 

Dio opened the door wider he was happy she had finally decided to come out and said

"Now Lavi I just wanted to walk you to your room and make sure you are safe." he emphasized the word safe giving her a wide grin.

 

Lavi started to shake her head from side to side in disbelief and shrank back when he tried to grab her arm. Dio's smile faded his eyes narrowing as he said

"come one Lavi don't make me hurt you I only want to walk you to your room, you can come willingly or I will force you to come either way you will come so let's do this the easy way and come here."

 

Lavi's eyes started to tear as she hung her head low knowing that he was right she slowly took a few steps forward earning a smile from Dio as he said

"Now see that wasn't very hard was it?" it was more of a statement than a question as he took her hand in a death grip and lead her out of the bathroom. He seemed to be in another world as he happily swung their hands back and forth leading the way down the hall.

 

Lavi gave a small cry of surprise when he walked right past her room dragging her behind him she asked in a quiet voice almost whining

"Where are we going, we already passed my room, where are you taking me, you lied to me." Dio didn't stop but quickened his pace to and then suddenly stopping making Lavi run into him. Dio quickly pulled her into his arms as he opened the door walking inside shutting the door all in one motion. Lavi was winded from running into him and started coughing trying to regain her air supply as Dio released her. Lavi started to see little spots in her vision when she finally stopped coughing and raised her eyes only to be met with Dio's gaze as he lazily gave her a smile secretly congratulating his idea that Lucioula have his own room. Lavi started to panic as she whispered

"Where am I?" Dio tilted his head to the side saying

"You are in my room I thought it best that you sleep here with me so I know what you are doing." a single tear traveled its way to her chin making him smile even more saying

"Well I am tired don't worry I have had my fun for tonight." and with that he started to disrobe, Lavi quickly turned away as she started to blush. Lavi shuffled her feet and asked the corner

"What if someone finds out? What about al?" she jumped when a pair of arms encircled her pulling her back against a solid chest as Dio replied

"No need to worry I will just tell them that we soon to be married and they will just give a smile." Lavi tensed at the word marriage replying

"I want to marry Claus" Dio's arms tightened almost painfully as he ground out

"Why would Claus marry someone who is already taken?" Lavi bit her lip knowing the truth of his words but they still hurt all the same.

 

Dio slid his hands up to her shoulders pulling at her robe and Lavi let her arms hang limply as he pulled it off. She turned to face him but quickly looked down at her feet when she saw that he only wore a pair of black silk boxers. Dio gave a giggle at Lavi's embarrassment taking her chin forcing her gaze to me his and his smile widened as he saw her blush.

 

Dio lightly grazed his lips across hers and slid one hand around her waist pulling her to him and the other to the back of her neck deepening the kiss. Lavi pushed as hard as she could against his chest feeling his naked skin on her hands she quickly removed them. Dio started to smile at her reaction of touching him and pulled away from the kiss capturing each of her hands in his he walked to the bed placing himself at the edge bringing her to sit on his lap he could tell that she was scared from all the fidgeting she did but didn't care as he wrapped his arms around his mate resting his head on the side of her arm not wanting to agitate his mark.

 

Lavi clenched her jaw waiting for him to start just wanting to end it so she could sleep she was worn out from his games. Her eyes widened as she felt his head against her arm as he lightly held her on his lap. She didn't know what he was doing did he want to play a different game or did he just like to torture her so she choose to stay quiet.

 

Dio held Lavi for a few more minutes and then turned placing her on the bed as he swung his legs up behind her. Lavi tried to suppress the yawn that she knew was coming but to no avail. Dio looked down at her with a seriousness that scared her but she relaxed as he smiled at her yawn saying more than asking

"Is that a hint? Well let's get to sleep then I can't have you exhausted now can I?" he then laid on his side facing her with an arm wrapped around her middle bringing her into his embrace.

 

Lavi was scared to move but once she saw Dio's breathing become even she turned on her side facing him trying to scoot her back to the wall when she heard him, stir tightening his hold pulling her face into his chest she heard him moan in content. Lavi quickly turned her face to the side so she could breath feeling anger at his trick but being to tired to pursue it she closed her eyes and after a few minutes she fell asleep.

 

Dio nuzzled her head and gave a smile at her trying to pull away but then stopping as her breathing grew even so he knew that she had fallen asleep. And as he closed his eyes wrapping both arms around her small form he thought about his freedom, his mate, and his plan and with the last he gave a smile falling into a light sleep.

Hello I hope I didn't miss spell Dio's last name. If so I am sorry (bows repeatedly) I have written this chapter kind of early but I won't post it till I get a review or two, till then. hehe
