Chapter 2- Destinyor Mere Coincidence?
The sound of hooves on cobblestone surrounded the sleepy friends as they lay upon the ground. Slowly Emma opened her eyes to find five soldiers surrounding them.
“Leon?!?”
“You there. Girl. How did you breach our guard? What purpose do you have here?”
“Uh, Ummm.... I-I don't know... I can't remember anything....”
“Tsch... Yeah, right... Take them to the dungeon!”
Two soldiers grabbed each of her arms while two others did the same to sleeping Leon.
“Wait! Wha- You can't, what have I done? No!” she cried as they dragged her towards a huge stone building. “Leon! Get up!”
Leon quickly awoke and proceeded to struggle against the soldiers who were trying to restrain him.
“Leon! HELP!”
Leon pulled his arms forward as hard as he could and the two soldiers stumbled forward. He kicked them back and they lost their grip. He quickly turned around to see that Emma was gone.
“Where is she? What did you do with her?” he shouted as he grabbed and began to strangle one soldier by gripping his throat tightly. The soldier choked and gagged as his lungs tried in vain to receive oxygen His face slowly turned red, then purple.
“Th-the dungeon.... They took her to the dungeon... Here, ta-take the key; but don't kill him....” replied the other soldier fearfully as he held out an old rusted key.
Leon loosened his grip and the soldier dropped to the ground gasping for air.
“Where's the Dungeon?!? Tell me!”
“*gasp* through the gate, and down the hall; it's the Iron door at the end. *cough* Tsch...Good Luck... Its swarming with other soldiers and maybe even a few Sheikah.” The soldier replied with a grin after finally feeling the oxygen returning.
“Sheikah? What's a Sheikah? Hmph, no matter, I'll just take you along for the ride.” With that said he unsheathed the soldier's sword and put it to his bare neck. “You coming or do I have to choke you again?” he threatened. “You!” he shouted as the other tried to sneak away. “Give me your uniform!”

Click, click, click went the lock as the soldier locked the gate, leaving Emma to sit alone on the cold stone floor. She sat with her legs bent, holding her legs close to her and laying her head on her knees. Her back was against the wall and sat facing the gate that had just been locked. Where are you Leon? I hope you're okay. The sound of a door scraping against the floor as it opens is heard and she lifts her head to see a figure approaching through the shadows.
“Who are you?” she asked.
“I am as you wish me to be. Friend or foe...”
“I choose friend.”
“Wise choice. Unfortunately, I can not assist you at the moment. The king wishes to see you and your friend.”
“L-Leon? Where is he?”
“Come now. He has escaped and is searching for you.” He replied as he took out a ring of keys and opened the door. “Don't worry, you shall not be harmed. As long as you don't resist or try to escape, that is.
Emma hesitantly stood and tried to recognize the person, but to no avail. The person wore a black cloak, with a hood that covered his face.
“What if I try to run?” as she finished asking she felt a stab of pain behind her neck and was forced to the ground by an unknown force. Just as fast as it had come, the pain disappeared, letting her stand. “Wh-what was that?”
“You'll find out in due time. Now follow me young lady.”

Went Leon's heart loudly as he hid behind a corner. He had searched the dungeon and found that Emma was not there. He knew she had been there because he had found her necklace upon the ground. The necklace he had given her years ago, he didn't recognize it at first, but then he remembered it. To think, she had kept it for so long and still wore it.
Time to test if their defenses are as strong as they say, but first... Leon grabbed the soldier behind him and threw him into one of the dungeons. He tied him up tight and locked the door.
“Thank you for showing me the way. Now I have no use for you. Don't worry, before I go I'll tell one of your friends that you're in here. Good bye.” he whispered to the gagged soldier. Leon left the dungeon and proceeded down the hall looking through each room.
“Hey you!” Leon turned to see a soldier calling him over. “You seem a bit lost, looking for anything in particular?” Leon walked towards the soldier. “Wait a minute, I haven't seen you before.”
Shit, now what genius?
“Ah, you must be the new guy. My name's Jeremiah.” He said as he stretched out his hand.
Leon remained tense and didn't shake his hand or make any try to show kindness. “I'm Leonard, I was told to assist in watching the prisoners, but they have been moved from the dungeons.”
Jeremiah frowned and lowered his hand.
“Oh, yes. The king wished to see them. They must be in the throne room. You're really serious for a rookie. I respect that; you'll make a fine guard for the king if it was ever necessary.”
Leon smiled. “Thanks.”
“Gotcha.” The soldier grabbed Leon and held him tightly. “You really think I'm that easy to trick? I'm the only soldier here with a sense of humor and the only one that has the guts to smile. No rookie is supposed to be here, so you must be the escaped prisoner. He, he, he.” He forced Leon to walk down the remainder of the hall and pushed him through a slightly open door.

“Leon! You're okay!” cried Emma happily when she saw Leon stumble into the throne room clumsily. “I thought I'd never see you again!” she shouted as she ran to him and hugged him tightly with watery eyes.
“Ummm.... Emma, this is a bit inappropriate. Considering that the king is staring at us...” whispered Leon as he pushed Emma away carefully. Emma let go to stare at him and laugh.
“Don't worry so much. He's going to help us... Don't you recognize him?” she asked sarcastically.
Leon looked closely at the short stocky figure sitting in the throne before him. The figure stood so that the light would show his face and began to twirl his mustache around his right index finger.
“No, it can't be.... Pr-proctor?”
“Guards, leave us. Jeremiah, you and the advisor should stay. Do not comment or speak unless I address either of you, is that clear?”
The soldier and the hooded figure nodded their agreement and sat in chairs opposite each other beside the throne.
“*clears throat* Yes, I was informally introduced to you as... Well you knew me as proctor. Here I am known to all as the King of Hyrule. I rule this vast kingdom in solitude with only my advisor to assist me, but that is not why you are here. Time has been relapsed and I sense there is something wrong with the world. It is unbalanced. The legends of old have disappeared from existence and our protectors and guardians, the sages ceased to exist. They only remain in many dreams, visions and memories that have come to me while in meditation. Enough about me, you have been able to come to this world, but I am unsure if you are worthy...”
“Wait..... What? Brought to this world? You mean this is another world???” asked Leon.
“Well if he says it, then I believe him.... Leon, are you okay???” Emma stared at Leon who had groaned and was kneeling on the ground clutching his forehead. “L-Leon?”
“AaAaAaAaAaAahhhhh!!!” screamed Leon in agony collapsing onto the floor in a fetal position.
“Oh no! What's wrong...? Leon, please speak to me!!!” cried Emma as she sat on the ground and pulled Leon's squirming body onto her lap. She tried to console him by rubbing his back softly, but this made him flinch and shout harder. Leon coughed harshly and uncontrollably, drops of a red substance fell upon the white marble floors. He continued to cough and squirm uncontrollably; a puddle of blood covered the floor. Emma sat sobbing softly and holding on to Leon tightly, hoping, no wishing it was just a nightmare and that she would soon wake up to see him smiling down at her.

Leon could not think straight, an indescribable pain tortured both his body and mind. It was such a horrible experience; he thought he was going to die. He could hear Emma crying out to him and felt her clutching him tightly. He began to cough, his throat becoming sore and he began to choke on the blood. He coughed, and coughed, unable to stop it.... Emma if I survive this, I swear... I'm going to do everything that has ever crossed my mind ever since I saw you again... Just then he stopped coughing, he breathed in ragged breaths of air, only to puke the rest of the blood. Slowly his vision blurred as three figures approached him cautiously.
The worst was over... Or was it?
