For seven years he had watched Hyrule plummet into darkness, unable to do a thing for the doomed kingdom. His people, the Sheikah, had protected the rulers of Hyrule for many generations. They had been called the Unseen Guardians of the Royal Family. They had been the elite.
But now, they are nothing but a memory. The Sheikah had been annihilated, completely destroyed by the man called Ganon, who had taken over Hyrule seven years previously. It was to this man that he, the last of the Sheikah had pledged his services.
And he would have his revenge.

His red eyes glittered darkly in the torch light as he entered the chamber the Ganon called his own. An organ sat near the back and that was about all there was in the room. A red carpet hugged the floor in the middle, leading all the way from the door to the organ and beyond. The carpet continued out into the hall from where Sheik had just left and continued throughout the castle, making one feel as if they were going in circles.
But he knew this castle, knew it well. He had grown up here, in service to the Royal Family and student under Impa, Princess Zelda's bodyguard. But that was in the past now. Now he served Ganon...
If only so that he could stick a knife in the man's back.
That same man stood before the organ, his back to Sheik. The sight tempted the young man, who fingered the knife at his side uneasily. For seven years he had sought his opportunity to kill the man. He had tried once, long ago, back when he'd first come into Ganon's services. But he had been caught and discouraged from doing so again. Even though Ganon knew of Sheik's desire to kill him, he still kept the blond haired man around.
Keep your friends close. Keep your enemies closer.
Ganon didn't trust him. Sheik wasn't as stupid as to believe that. The man from the desert only kept him around to keep an eye on him, in case the Sheikah decided to betray him somehow. Even he wasn't foolish enough to challenge Ganon now, though. The thief was too strong, had too many allies. Sheik had none... unless...
"Sheik."
He started at the sound of his name, surprised that the lord of evil had even said it. The surprise must have shown on his face when Ganon turned around, because the desert man laughed. Blushing furiously in embarrassment, Sheik schooled his features into what he hoped looked like a calm mask. Ganon smiled as he watched the Sheikah, impressed by the other man's discipline, but didn't say anything about it. Instead, he let the smile fade and replaced it with a frown.
"Sheik. A rumor has reached my ears that the Sage of Light has become active. I want you to go to the Temple of Time and wait there. If my instinct is right, a young man will appear there."
The king of evil smirked as he took in Sheik's tense posture, then continued, very much aware of how the other man would react. "Befriend him, help him on his quest to reawaken the Sages. And then use him. Use him to wash Zelda out. Bring the Princess to me... and destroy the Hero of Time completely."
Sheik froze as the words washed over him, unable to comprehend the instructions. Betray Zelda? Revulsion filled him at the thought. He would never betray his princess, betray Hyrule itself. And yet Ganon was assigning him this mission, as if he expected that very thing from him. Unless...
Red eyes flickered to the dark man uncertainly, probing the yellowed eyes intently. The Gerudo seriously thought he would give away Zelda's location to him... or he wanted Sheik to show his true colors and attempt to help the princess. Realization flooded his senses. Ganon knew that he would never betray Zelda. The thief just wanted to catch him in the act of helping Zelda, thereby eliminating a possible traitor.
Knowing this clarified a few things for the Sheikah. He smiled underneath the bandages that hung over his mouth, amused that Ganon would so openly challenge him like this. Eyes glittering with determination, Sheik turned on his heel and walked back to the door, his hand reaching out for the handle. He stopped and took a deep breath, before whispering maliciously, "As you wish, my lord. I will bring to you the Princess Zelda... and the Hero's head."
To be continued...
A/N: So, what do you guys think? Before anybody asks, yes, there will be sex scenes. Link and Sheik are the main pairing, but there may be some others as well. I don't know yet. I still have to think about it. Anyway, read and review please. I want to know your opinions. Thanks. Asura Mori out.
