It's morning, and Joshua, now truly thinking about his destiny, goes out and walks throughout the town. “Damn…is this really…who I am?” He thought, looking strangely at his hand. He then shakes his head and turns on his Mp3 player and walks down the sidewalk in the quiet neighbourhood…

Meanwhile…within the castle's ruins that lie deep underground, Ganondorf watches the new hero through a glass orb…glaring at him with a look of true, true anger. “Hmph…so, this is what our new hero looks like? Black hair and hazel eyed? He looks truly pathetic…!” he said, then waved his hand across the orb, showing deep underwater, another part of the castle, one that was forgotten long, long ago. “Hm? This…this is the princess? A Zoran inbred? Why the hell is her tail from her head all the way down at her legs? Hmm…so Merpeople still exist? After all this time? AND SHE HAS THE TRIFORCE OF WISDOM?! ARRRGH!” Ganondorf then smashed his fist into the stone throne he sat upon. “My lord…maybe…I should take care of her for you? After all…I am the one “The Queen” sent you those many years ago…” A cloaked figure spoke. “Hmhmhmhm, very well, Serris. Take care of the fish…the boy is MINE.” Ganondorf said with a grin. The cloaked figure nodded and said; “As you command, my lord.” Then disappeared in a black flame…

Deep, deep in the waters…the ruins of the kingdom glimmered from the water's light, as the princess, gathered aquatic plants. She had neon blue hair, had two long antennae protruding from her head, and lad two large fin-like ears. She wore a small armoured bikini top, with a large armoured “skirt” that's draped around her waist. She was human from the head to the arms and lower torso, but she had a long green tail with a light green tailfin. (Yes, it's a mermaid, so frackin' sue me -_-) “Hmm…it seems the plants grow lesser and lesser each year…” she quietly said. She then heads to the surface to see if she can see where else she can find food…

Near the harbours, Serris reforms and moves slowly onto a fisherman's ship… “Eh, seems like nothin's biting today…SHIT!” the fisherman said while throwing his net towards the bow of the ship. Serris slowly morphs into the shadows and moves towards the fisherman… “What the hell is that smell? Dead fish? DAMN!” The fisherman said while shaking his head. “It's not the fish…” Serris said, then lunged at the fisherman. “H-Huh…?!” The fisherman yelped, then turns around, as the large shadow zooms down his throat. A loud gurgling cry of terror rings out throughout the harbour, as Serris possessed the fisherman, whispering out one thing… “Excellent…hehehe…”

The princess swam towards a small island, which was covered in berry bushes, ripe for the picking. She just hummed along as she picked the berries. “Something….dosn't seem right.” Marin thought. She then heard the hum of a boat's motor, as she looked and saw a ship pull alongside the island. “'Ello, my little fishy…you look good enough to eat!” A voice called out. She looked on in terror, then the possessed fisherman lunged at Marin and started to slash at her with his hunting knife! She shrieked out for help, not knowing someone would come…

Joshua walked down and whistled the trademark Gonna Fly Now Rocky theme and said, “Jeez, why did I start walking ANYWAY???” He then heard the shrieks of the terrified princess, and said; “What the…?! I Gotta help!” Then ran down through the forest, but then tripped on a rock and fell down into the small valley, where a large pack of Bobcats were feasting on dead forest animals, now looking angry at Joshua. “Owwwwiiieeee…that's it, no more shortcuts for me!” Joshua said while standing up and rubbing his head, then looked at the Bobcats, which are now growling at him. “Hehehe…nice kitties…” Joshua said while backing away. One Bobcat growled and lunged at him, then Joshua ran away deep into the woods while screaming his head off!

Joshua kept running until he ran down to the beach in which the harbour was near by. He then tripped on something and fell straight on his face in the wet sand. He then spat out the sand and stood up, then heard a voice call out; “Please…help me…” he turns around to find…a merperson??? “AIIIIYAAA!!!” Joshua shrieked out, as he ducked behind a large rock. “Y-you…wanted…my help…???” Joshua nervously said, then the princess answered; “Y-yes…please…I don't want to die…save…me…” Joshua gathered his courage, stood up, and saw the princess severely bleeding around the arms, torso, and tail. Joshua knelt beside her and said; “Don't worry, I'm going to get you outta here…I promise!”

“You'd love that, wouldn't you, HERO OF TIME?!” a voice shrieked out, then a ship crashed onto the shore in an attempt to crush them both. But in the nick of time, Joshua grabbed the princess and dashed straight out of the way! “COME DOWN AND FIGHT ME, YA BASTARD!!!” Joshua screamed out as he landed away from the boat. The fisherman then jumped out and knocks the princess out of his hands, and held up his harpoon and said, in a cold voice; “With pleasure…I will be glad to end your life for my lord here and now!” then slashes Joshua's left arm! “Dammit…!” Joshua grunts out and dodges many of the Fisherman's lethal blows, but Joshua got a few slashes all over in the meantime. “Use your triforce!” a voice rang out in Joshua's head. Joshua shook his head and said; “Triforce…?” Joshua then made a fist, raised his hand and a large beam of light shot out of his hand, as the fisherman flew and landed deep in the water. Joshua rushes to the princess' side once again, and said; “Miss…if we get out of this…I am going to keep you safe in my home…is that ok…?” she nodded and quietly answered; “Y-yes…please…”

Joshua then heard a bubbling in the water…then, the fisherman floated out of the water and split apart, now becoming a large, six-eyed Sea Serpent! “Aw, crap…” Joshua muttered. “NOW YOU WILL ALSO BE DEVOURED AND BECOME A PART OF ME!” Serris said, then knocks Joshua out of the way and swallows the princess whole, and dove into the water! “RGH! Oh no you don't!!!” Joshua shouted, then he dove into the water, swimming frantically after Serris! Serris sped up insanely fast, turned around, and knocked Joshua away hard. Joshua let out one bubble as he was severely hurt in the chest. But he kept his eyes on Serris' movement, and grins as Serris charged at him again. But before Serris could smash into him, Joshua swam to his side and grabbed onto his jaw. “EH???” Serris said as he tried to shake Joshua off, but Joshua noticed Serris open his mouth, so he slid inside and went down his throat.

Joshua looked around through Serris' stomach, and finally found the princess lying on top of a large piece of debris, and finally catches her in his arms. “Uhh…we…don't have enough…time…we've got to…get out…!” the princess said weakly, as she flicked her tail slightly. Joshua felt pain in his legs as Serris' stomach acid was starting to eat away as his shoes and skin. Joshua grinds his teeth and looks around, then takes a small disk-like device, and sticks it onto the ceiling. He then ran out of the other opening…and slid out of Serris' colon! Joshua swam away with the princess as Serris began to turn around…but then…BOOM!!! Serris exploded from the inside, leaving nothing but debris behind!

Joshua then stepped out of the water with the princess in his arms. “What's…your name…hero of time…?” the princess weakly said. “Joshua…the name's Joshua. And yours?” he answered and asked. The princess sat up and said; “Marin…just, Marin…the sea's princess…” she then gave a kiss on Joshua's cheek and asked; “Where are we going…?” Joshua blushed hard and said; “To my house…I can bandage you, feed you, and simply keep you safe there, Marin…” Joshua looked at Marin and smiled as he kept walking up the road…Marin also smiled back, as a sign of gratitude.
