Prologue
It was the end of the Song Dynasty when the Mongolians soldiers led by Kublai Khan successfully conquered Xiang Yang city, the main capital of Zhong Yuan (China). A new alien dynasty in China was formed by the Mongolian Emperor, Kublai Khan known in history as Yuan Dynasty. The Han heroes and heroines who fought valiantly to defend their country and people were either dead, left the martial arts world to live reclusive lives or they would continue to rebel against the Mongolian regime.
During the short eighty-nine years rule of the Mongolians, the Han people were placed at the bottom of the status pyramid and were living miserable lives because they were bullied and tortured mercilessly by the Mongolians. A century later, the Mongolians were overthrown by the Han people led by a former monk, Zhu Yuan Zhang. He successfully established a new dynasty and became the first emperor of Ming Dynasty.
At the beginning of Ming Dynasty, there was a man called Shang Guan Ying. He was well known throughout China for being a great warrior but also for being an eccentric man. He had only received and taught six disciples and all of them were famous and contributed greatly to their country during the revolution, except one, his last disciple.
Shang Guan Ying's youngest and last disciple was a young woman of an unfortunate background. She was the surviving daughter of his sworn brother and, third cousin of the Mongolian emperor, Duke Nan Gong Qing Ke, a noble of both Han and Mongolian descent in Hang Zhou. Duke Qing Ke's family and servants were massacred by the Mongolians who labeled him a traitor during the rebellion period for he had loyally supported Zhu Yuan Zhang when the latter led the rebellion against the alien people who had occupied the land of the Han.
Shang Guan Ying had learnt about the massacre from a drunken Mongolian before killing him. He had raced on his horse urgently to Duke Qing Ke's mansion but he was too late. The sad sight of bloody and mutilated corpses greeted him. In the living room, his sworn brother's head was separated from his body and his wife had been brutally raped in the bedroom before the murderers slashed her across the throat. Their two toddler sons were stabbed repeatedly to death in their own rooms. Shang Guan Ying then remembered that there was an older daughter about eight years old; Nan Gong Xue Hua, his goddaughter. There was no sign of her anywhere when he tried to search for her. He was about to give up hope when he heard a faint cry coming from the well. Xue Hua had hid herself by jumping into the well and was exhausted from keeping herself afloat and she was nearly frozen to death from the icy cold water for it was the middle of winter.
Shang Guan Ying rescued the little princess from the well and took her back to his home in Tai Shan (Mountain Tai). There he slowly nursed the traumatized child who was not able to utter a single word and had nightmares constantly for almost two years. Later, she began to recover slowly and Shang Guan Ying proceeded to teach her literature and wushu. He made her his last disciple and discovered that Xue Hua was a bright but reluctant student. She did not want anything to do with fighting but Shang Guan Ying forced her to learn in order to take vengeance on the people responsible for her family's death. By the time she turned twenty-five, she was almost as good as her mentor, except she did not posses strong inner powers unlike her mentor and seniors.
As soon as Shang Guan Ying was satisfied with her prowess, he sent her out of Tai Shan so that she could take vengeance on those who were responsible for her family's death. Shang Guan Ying had discovered that it was a man called Huang Xie who was the mastermind behind Duke Qing Ke and family's deaths. He was a one time friend of Duke Qing Ke before he betrayed his part in the revolution to the Mongolians in hope of gaining power and wealth.
Aimed with the knowledge of the person responsible for her family's death, Xue Hua tracked and searched for Huang Xie for two years before she finally found and confronted him about the horrendous deed he had done nineteen years ago. A fierce battle resulted between both of them and lasted for two days and two nights without much rest. On the third day, Xue Hua was determined to kill Huang Xie without further delay.
“Huang Xie you filthy and cowardly dog, your end is near and soon you'll find yourself in the halls of Yuan Luo Wang (God of Hell) before the sun sets today.” Xue Hua said softly but grimly, her dark eyes cold and hard as steel.
“Come and kill me if you can, wench! It's a pity that I'll have to kill you though. You are as beautiful as your mother before she married that bastard father of yours! I bet that you will be as good as her in bed!” Huang Xie snarled.
That was the last straw for Xue Hua when she heard that. It brought back the horrible memories of her hearing her mother's screams down there in the dark cold well. Hot fury that had been kindling in her since she found Huang Xie turned into a blazing inferno that begs to be unleashed. Xue Hua focused on killing the lecherous old man by using her inner powers to support each thrust of her twin swords. Xue Hua had learnt to fight with two swords after she had started learning how to use a blade. She was a natural and it was delightful for Shang Guan Ying and her seniors to watch her practice for it seemed that she was dancing instead of fighting. That had earned her the nickname `Snow dancer'.
Xue Hua had her enemy near the edge of a cliff and had cornered him. Huang Xie had no choice but to think carefully on how to kill the advancing young woman. `Too bad for her,' he thought, `She truly had inherited her mother's beauty. Perhaps I could use that on her and have my way with her first before killing her.' He chuckled evilly.
Xue Hua had a sudden feeling that Huang Xie was up to something bad. Her gut instinct was accurate for the old man suddenly hit out at her breasts. She turned to avoid him and was hit on the back instead. She coughed blood and staggered backwards. She gasped when she noticed her fingernails turning black but there was a strange heat pooling in her stomach and caused her to develop a strong sexual desire for her enemy. She immediately recognized the symptoms.
“Black Aphrodisiac Palm! You bastard!” Xue Hua growled angrily. She quickly blocked her main pressure points to stop the poison from traveling to her heart and lessened the effects of it. Her cheeks were flushed and she was panting slightly. Beads of sweat formed on her forehead and brows. She clenched her teeth as wave after wave of desire raged throughout her body.
“Clever girl and you should know that only a man is able to cure you of that poison or you'll die after suffering its effects for at least three days.” Huang Xie chuckled evilly and slowly walked towards her. “Why don't you take off your clothes and spread your legs so that I can help you? Or would you prefer me undressing you instead? I promised that you'll be begging for more after you've first tasted the pleasure of what happens between a man and a woman.” He leered at her and started to unfasten the cloth belt that held his pants in place.
Xue Hua's eyes narrowed dangerously and she secretly shook out a dagger that was hidden within her right sleeve. Once Huang Xie was standing right in front of her in an unguarded posture, she flicked the dagger and watched it embedded itself into the man's heart. Huang Xie's eyes widened in horror once he realized what had happened. But it was too late for him to do anything about it for he fell backwards and was dead in an instant.
Xue Hua slowly walked towards the edge of the cliff and glanced down at the endless pit before her. She felt another wave of desire coursed through her body. She needed a man, very badly. However, she would rather preserve her virtue and honor by committing suicide rather than letting a man touch her in order to save her life. She closed her eyes and slowly breathed in and out, willing her body to relax.
“Goodbye teacher and all my beloved seniors. Xue Hua is going to join my family down there. I hope I can repay your kindness in the next life.” Xue Hua whispered and finally leapt into the darkness.
“Awaken, blood daughter of the mighty ancient power of the First, the Heavenly Dark Dragon.” A soft voice whispered in a strange language countless times in her head until she could no longer hear it anymore for the darkness consumed her never noticing the bright light that enveloped her falling form before disappearing into thin air.
