Chapter Two: At Long Last

"You're a real charmer you know that?" she said with a soft laugh as they followed Fujiko andout of the club with Goemon in tow. "Yeah, well I'm not much of a people person. If you't allow others to get close, you don't have to worry about any partnerships being broken." hein defense of himself.

'Damnit! How could he possibly make me so angry? You're not supposed to let emotions get inway of the objective. That's rule one. I should not have done anything that might make themnot to help. So what if he acts like an asshole and thinks poorly of me, his friends andare helping me rescue Katharine. I got upset because I like him a little bit, even though Iknow him.'
