He was sad. Albireo Imma was depressed, but at the same time also happy. Happy for his friend Nagi. You see, Nagi Springfield had just gotten married. Yet, Albireo was also sad; Al loved Nagi more than anything. But, he had lost him. It was too late to do anything now. He sighed, walking in the moonlight, trying to forget all about Nagi and his new love, how they would be, and what they were doing now. He looked at the Moon. The moon had always reminded him of Nagi. There were water puddles on the street, the moon shone on them. It was beautiful; sort of reminding him of one of those Peter Pan books small children would read. He looked down, and saw a half-dead flower. It reminded him of someone else he loved deeply……
“Where is she? Where had she gone? My little flower. My little, tiny flower….”
Al heard something behind him. A rush of wind, a rustle of leaves, and a slowly reddening moon.
“Ha-ha. It’s been some time, Albireo. How have you been, you pathetic excuse for a man?” Evangeline McDowell, the dreaded Vampire Scourge. She was short, and dainty, like a little doll.
Albireo smiled.
“Evangeline! H-hello. I was just thinking about you, and-!” Before he could finish, Eva cut him off.
“You seem sad. Is it Nagi Springfield perhaps?”
“Are you reading my mind?”
Eva glared at him.
“Do you still love him? Do you?” She asked sharply.
Albireo sighed, walking in a circle around Eva. The wind had ceased blowing, and everything seemed very calm now. Eva looked up at him, waiting for a answer.
“Evangeline. I-it’s hard for someone to let go of someone. I should have confessed my feelings earlier than I did. I’m stupid. I knew you loved him, too. I should have let you have him, Evangeline.” Al was just fooling himself with these words, anyway.
“I pity you, Imma. You’re truly foolish. I do love Nagi. I mean I did. I admired him, I wanted to thank him for saving me, I never got around to it, now it’s too late to do anything.”
They stared at each other for a few seconds, lost in each others thoughts. Al heard something click in his mind. He walked another circle around Eva, then stopping behind her. He smiled weakly, letting his arms slink around her waist. The Dark Evangel twinged slightly at this, out of guilt. She would possibly kill him if she truly wanted too, but she was still in her child form. What could she do now besides just stand there motionless? Albireo leaned his head down toward her ear.
“I empathize with you….I know your feelings about all this….”
Eva shuddered from feeling his breath in her ear. Al went down her face a little bit, before gently placing a kiss on her cheek.
“My little Lilac.”

A few years passed, and a lot of stuff had happened. The Breakup of the Crimson Wing, the birth of Nagi’s son, ect….
And Evangeline also being placed under the Infernus Scholasticus curse. She’d been at Mahora for almost a year now, and she absolutely hated it. What only made it enjoyable was her puppet and robot companions, Chachazero and Chachamaru. Hakase had built Chachamaru for Eva, ‘cause Hakase knew of Magic. And, Eva also enjoyed spending after school at Library Island, with Albireo; they would enjoy a cup of Tea and chat for a bit, like old BFF’s reunited.
But then, the news came.
Horrible, dreadful news.
Nagi Springfield, the “Thousand Master” was dead.
Eva was extremely depressed, and Albireo kept on blaming himself for his death. He felt half-dead. He felt life was pointless, too. Evangeline felt the same way. She needed comfort, like Albireo did years ago. So, at midnight, she crept out of her bed, and straight to Library Island, to try and calm both of ther souls.
