Both were almost exhausted from a long day at work. Outside it was raining cats and dogs, they didn’t bring an umbrella. Tiana sneezed loud and sniffed.
‘Great. This sure is one hell of a day. Overtime for both of us, two escaped criminals, rain...’

‘Yeah, you’re right. Let’s head home, it’s already 7 pm and I didn’t eat something after the lunch today.’

‘And I want to take a shower before I go sleep later, I’d rather not go sleep with all the filth from work.’ Tiana sniffed again.
Both waited at the bus stop,  but unfortunately the bus they took was overcrowded so they didn’t had any seats.

‘Man, this day COULDN’T go any better!’ the blue-haired girl said, while sighing deep and looked outside. The weather wasn’t going to change. Her friend, and secretly her love, was leaning against her shoulder, almost falling asleep. Subaru didn’t dare to tell her that she was in love with her. They used to share one bed, but she thought if she told her, things went wrong and she didn’t want to lose her as a friend. Finally, when they were home, dropped their bags and ate dinner, they went upstairs.

Both of them managed to take a shower before sleeping, so they walked to the bathroom. Subaru walked to the mirror while she had no idea why and yawned, while Tia turned the shower on. She started to undress. Subaru looked from the mirror to her companion’s body.

Tiana unbuttoned her jacket, revealing her white blouse and nice, medium-sized breasts. While untie her necktie with one hand, she pulled out her skirt with the other. She dropped her already unbuttoned blouse, jacket, necktie and skirt on the floor and took of her pantyhose. While removing her underwear, she noticed that Subaru was watching her.

‘You’ll need to take a shower too, so please don’t stare at me. I hate that!’

‘Wait, this time we share it?’

‘W-well...if you want to wait until I’m done, while you’re all soaked by the rain like me?’

‘Then I’ll catch a cold, so no thank you. I’ll share it this time, ‘kay?’

While her partner stripped down, Tia stepped under the water, to jump back immediately when she felt and icy cold. She had been so out from everything that she turned the wrong knob, so she turned it back to hot water. Closing her eyes, she let it come over her as she felt the water warming up her body. Tia even didn’t notice when her partner stepped behind her until she felt the body against hers.

‘S-Subaru? What are you doing?’

‘I told you that we share it this time.’ Subaru’s voice sounded soft in her ears, making her shudder. She grabbed the soap, helped her to was every inch of her body until it was clean. Tiana’s body was hot inside, she just didn’t know what it was.
What is this feeling? It’s like my heart is almost slamming out of my chest. Her fingers feel so soft...It could be, because this is the first time we share the shower, but yet...
She turned around, now standing with her back to the wall, laying her head on Subaru’s chest.
‘Tia, what-‘

‘Please...Don’t....say anything...’

‘But-‘

‘Just...Hold me...’

Subaru didn’t know what was going on. But it didn’t matter her. She always wanted Tia’s body so close to hers. So she wrapped her arms around her waist, pulling her a bit tighter to her. The shower was still rushing, now producing a bit steam due the warmth of the water, two pair of feet were standing in the residues of soap, two warm, wet bodies against each other.

‘...Tia?...’

‘Yes?’
Blood rose to her cheeks as she felt a hand cupping her chin, lifting her head up. Green gazed in blue, Tia didn’t know what to do but staring in confusion. She wanted to open her mouth, speak to her, but her throat was dry, lost the words she tried to speak. Subaru lay a finger on her lips, making her quiet before she said her words.

‘Tia...I...didn’t told this, did I?’

The orange-haired girl was unable to speak, even now the other girl removed her finger from her lips. Her heart pounded like crazy, her whole body tingled.

‘I...’

The girl brought her face close to hers, closing her eyes. Tia hesitated, but slowly closed them, trying not to panic. Their lips were just an inch removed from touching. She could feel her warm breath against her face, her short hair against her cheek.

‘I love you...’ With that, she closed the space between their lips. An flame exploded in her body like burning gasoline, it spread out over her whole surface. In an reflex she grabbed Subaru’s arm, pressing her body tighter to her.

This is love? This burning feeling is love? She loved me all those years...And I...I...I thought she was joking around when she said she’d liked me, that she cared more about me than just a friend or partner...I love her...I love her so much...

The kiss went deeper, became messier, filled with lust. The rushing shower was just an side case. All that matters was that they loved each other. Nothing else.  Subaru slowly forced the girl against the shower wall, making it more intense. Until they finally broke apart. Panting, both looked each other in the eyes. Tiana tried not to cry, but her voice was hoarse and weak.

‘Subaru...I...love you...I love you...’

‘I know. I already knew it from the moment we shared an bed. You always lay against me, holding me tight when you couldn’t sleep.’

‘Sorry about that...’

‘It’s okay. It doesn’t matter anymore. But say. I have a question.’

‘What is it?’

‘Do you mind sleeping together tonight?’
