PART 2: Blast in the past.

Mega Man and Ranma were inside the dining room, sitting down at the

table. Akane next to Ranma, Kasumi was cleaning up the kitchen,

Nabiki was up in her room, counting her yens, and Genma and Soun were

at the dojo, playing Shogi. Rush was outside, guarding in case Bass

came back. Ryoga had left, saying he'll be back to finish the duel.

Mega Man had taken off his helmet, and placed it on the table, so

they could see his black hair.

"Now ... it's obvious that you don't want to hurt us, because you

saved me from that other robot ..."

"Bass."

"Yeah, Bass, whatever. So, mind in telling us who are you?"

Mega Man nodded, he was programmed to be polite to humans. "My 'name'

it's Mega Man, I'm a combat purpose robot, my body it's made of a

light titanium alloy, my right arm turns into a plasma shooter,

and a special learning software of WCS (Weapon Copy System)."

"Combat Robot?" Akane asked, at first she didn't believe Ranma when

he told her what happened, but after seeing Mega Man, she did.

"Yes, I didn't use to be one, I volunteered to be modified."

"Why did you have to volunteer?" Ranma asked.

"It's kind of a long story ... sure you want to hear it?"

Ranma and Akane nodded, Mega Man wasn't sure about telling them all

this events, after all, this was the past, and nobody should know

about the future. Still he didn't see any harm in telling this two

humans.

"In the 21st century, my creator, Dr. Xavier Light, and his

assistant, Dr. Jerome Wily, were working on a special type of robots

that would do special jobs, too dangerous to humans. I was made to be

a handyman, Roll, the only girl-like robot, was made to be a

housekeeper, then there was 6 more, Fire Man, made to work at extreme

heat situations, Ice Man made to work at sub zero temperatures.

Bomb Man, a demolition robot. Guts Man, a excavation robot. Elec Man,

an electrician. And Cut Man, a woodcutter. Everything was going fine,

but one day, an explosion almost destroyed all of the lab."

"What happened?" Akane asked.

"The assistant, Dr. Wily, was doing an illegal experiment, after Dr.

Light discovered him, he fired Dr. Wily, who left, but saying he was

going to get his revenge one way or another."

"And I suppose he did." Said Ranma.

Mega Man nodded, "Yes, the next day, almost all the robots were

stolen from the lab, only Rock, Rock was my old name, and Roll were

left saying that we were useless for combat purposes. A few days

later, the 6 stolen robots were reprogrammed and sent to destroy

the city by Dr. Wily."

"And there you volunteered." Ranma said.

Mega Man nodded again, "Yes, I was modified to be a combat robot,

I stopped Wily's plans many times, but he always manages to get away.

And now I found myself back in the 20th century, who knows why. All

because of him."

"I see, now, who was the other black robot, with the purple lion like

robot?"

"Bass? He's one of Dr. Wily's creations, the best one so far.

Actually I don't like to fight with him, his purpose it's not to take

over the world, he just wants to prove himself that he's a better

combat model."

"Well, you are here now, and he's here now, any ideas why?" Ranma

asked.

Mega Man shook his head, "No, I was just following a trail left by

Bass after a fight in the city, when I reached the Wily castle,

I met him, we fought, then fell down, and all of a sudden I was here,

in Japan, in 1995."

"So you have no idea why you are here." Ranma said.

PART 3: It's there a robot in the house?

Mega Man was in Ranma's room.

"Ranma, do I have to do this?"

"I told you. While you are here you have to look as much human as

possible. Here, try this on."

Ranma picked some of his clothes from a drawer, and tossed them to

Mega Man. Mega Man checked the clothes, it was a long sleeved white

chinese shirt with blue buttons, and a pair of dark blue long cloth

pants. Mega Man tried them on, only his feet and hads were showing.

And he wasn't wearing his helmet, so he looked pretty much human.

"There, now it looks like if you were wearing a pair of blue snickers

and blue gloves." Ranma comented.

"Thank's ... I guess."

Ranma picked up Mega Man's helmet and placed it next to the drawers.

"You helmet will be fine here, now let's go downstairs."

Mega Man nodded, and both exited the room and walked downstairs,

in the dining room Roll and Akane were still talking, Roll showing

Akane the equipement that she was carrying in her briefcase.

"... And this it's a standard laser gun. I wasn't designed for

combat. If the situation calls for it, I can use it to defend

myself."

"I see ... and what about those blue batteries things?"

"Those are energy cells, to be used in emergency only." Mega Man said

from the stairs, Akane and Roll turned to see him.

"Mega Man, you look good in those clothes." Roll said with a playful

smile.

Mega Man rolled his eyes, and walked towards Roll.

"In my fight with Bass I lost almost 50% of my energy. Can you hand

me the emergency charging wire?"

"Sure ... it's in here somewhere ..." Roll searched trough the things

in the briefcase, and produced a strange looking cable. Three

different kind of plugs in one end, and some kind of connector

in the other end. Roll handed it to Mega Man. "Here."

"Thanks" Mega Man placed the connector end in his right palm, and

held the plugs in his left hand. "Were can I find an entry plug?"

Mega Man asked Ranma.

Ranma just pointed at a wall, Mega Man walked towards it, and plugged

himself in.

Meanwhile, at the other side of the city, in the industrial district.

Bass was standing in front of a building with a big sign that read

"Tokyo central computer and electronics Inc."

"Good thing it's Sunday. I won't need to blast anybody into a pile

of trash." Bass said, Treble standing next to him, didn't do any

noise.

Bass walked towards the front gate, a big lock was keeping it closed.

"This stupid security from the 20th century." Bass said to himself

as he used his robotic strength to rip off the lock, and he opened

the door. The building was empty.

"Perfect ... even if its old, in here we can find plenty of electric

equipment. Come on Treble, we need some stuff to accomplish our

mission." Bass and Treble walked towards the many assembly lines that

were in the factory.

Back at the Tendo's Mega Man and Roll were discussing just what was

happening.

"... So, Dr. Wily made a little mistake, and we are a week early."

Roll finished her story.

"So, Dr. Light's teenage version won't come here as an exchange

student for another week. Well, that gives us enough time to track

down Bass and stop him." Mega Man answered.

Akane and Ranma weren't there, so Kasumi was a little surprised

when she saw the two robots kneeled at the table.

"Oh, my. Ranma and Akane didn't tell me that we had guests. Can I

interest you in a cup of tea?"

Roll and Mega Man blinked a few times, then answered, "Hum ... no,

thanks ... you are Kasumi right?" Mega Man asked.

"Why yes. And which are your names?" Kasumi asked, her usual smile

on her face.

"I'm Roll ... and he's Mega Man." Roll said.

"Roll and Mega Man? You have some strange names."

Mega Man and Roll just made a smile, and Kasumi re-entered the

kitchen.

"What's wrong with that girl?" Mega Man asked.

"I know ... it's like she just accepts everything that happens around

her." Roll answered.

In that moment, Rush entered the house.

"Rush. It's OK, if Bass didn't come back until now then he's not

coming back for the day. So take a break." Mega Man said to Rush,

Rush just made an electric bark and wiggled its tail.

At that moment, Akane and Ranma re-entered the dining room.

"So, how did it go?" Mega Man asked.

"My dad said that its okay if you stay. You don't eat and sleep so

there are no problems in you two staying with us." Akane answered.

Bark!

"Oh, sorry Rush, I mean three of you."

"So, what are you planing on doing?" Ranma asked.

"Now, we know that we are a week early, but Bass doesn't." Mega Man

answered. "If I know Bass ... and I do know Bass ... he must be

getting supplies and stuff like that. After that, he's going to check

every high school in Nerima, until he finds Dr. Light."

"What will happen if he doesn't find him?" Akane asked.

"I'm not sure ... but its better if we don't find out."

A minute of silence, then Ranma spoke up. "What are you going to do

then?"

"We have no other choice, we'll have to go to every high school in

Nerima, place a few detectors, and wait until Bass shows up." Mega

Man said, Roll nodded, "Yeah, I brought a few detectors just in case,

I was sure that they were going to come in handy."

"Well, then. You can start tomorrow, today it's Sunday and all

schools are closed. I'm sure that you don't want the police arresting

you for break in, right?" Ranma said.

"He's right. Well Roll, it seems like tomorrow its gonna be a busy

day." Mega Man said to Roll, who just nodded.

"Until then, make yourself at home." Akane said, smiling.

"Thank you." Mega Man said, and stood up.

At that moment, under a bridge, another light sphere was forming,

and when it dissipated, another robot appeared.

"Fight Man ... activate." The robot's eyes lit up, and looked around.

The robot was almost entirely light green, except for the eyes, fists

and legs, that were white. It wasn't very big, but it was strong

looking. In the middle of its chest plate it had what it looked like

a deep blue crystal. It didn't have any weapons that showed, so if it

had any, they were internal.

"Dr. Wily's orders ... find and destroy Mega Man ... find and help

Bass with his mission."

With that, the robot began walking, no direction in particular.

Okay, so things are beginning to get interesting, now we have another

of Wily's robots on the loose, and this one looks mean.

The robot Fight Man that appeared here doesn't show in any of the

eight games (till now) of Mega Man. It's my own creation just for

this FanFict. At first it was just going to be Bass, but then I tough

that it would be even better if another of Wily's robot shows up.
