I own the characters I make up in this ficChapter 1: The Twin NavisIn a two story house a young boy is just starting to leave his house wearing a baggy black pullover sweatshirt and black cargo jeans. "I’m going to school mom!" said the boy. "You want me to drive you?" asked his mom. "No mom, it’s just down the street, I can walk!" he said dryly. "Okay, have fun at school!" she said from the kitchen.As he's walking down the street he sees a crowd of other kids going in the same direction as him. He slows down and pulls the hood up over his head. "I hate crowds." he said quietly.When he arrives at Den Tec Academy he goes to the office for his schedule. He reads over the schedule very quickly. He turns and walks out the office and goes to his first class.When he gets to the room he reads the class plate. "This is the room, and good a female teacher, Ms. Mauri." he thought. He knocks on the door and inside he hears the teacher talking to the class. "Settle down everyone, we have a new student joining us today. Come in and introduce yourself, please?" said Ms. Mauri. "My name is Zero Xenos Slasher, I am twelve yrs. old, and I just moved here about two weeks ago from New York City." he said. "So you're from the United States, that’s a big move for someone so young. You can have a seat behind Lan there, Lan stand up please. she said. "Yes ma’am." said Lan as he stands up. "Hey, don't forget us." said two voices from his pockets. "Oh right, sorry guys." he said reaching into his pockets. He pulls out one PET and then a second. "Why do you have two PETs?" asked Ms. Mauri. "It's hard to explain, but basically these two Navis are like twins." he said turning them so the class can see them. Zero looks around the class and then quickly goes and sits down. "This is going to be boring since they don't even know my level of skill." he thought.The mourning passes like normal and it's now time for lunch. The lunchroom is noisy with all the students talking and eating. "I hate crowds." he said quietly looking for an empty table. "Hey Zero, over here!" yelled Lan from a table. "What are you doing?" asked a chunky kid sitting across from him. "What, he looks like he needs some friends?" said Lan. "Thanks." said Zero. "Hey Zero, is it true that only one of those Net Navis is really yours?" asked Lan curiously. "Who told you that?" asked Zero trying to keep his anger in control. "I...I heard gossip from some other students." he said studdering a little. "Both Navis are mine." he said calmly and quickly. "How do you chose which one to use in a battle?" asked the chunky boy. "That's nothing you need to worry about." said Zero as he gives a glare at the chunky boy. "Do they have names?" asked Lan. "Their names are X and Zero." he said as he pulls both PETs out. "What about yours Lan?" asked Zero. "My Navis name is Megaman." he said proudly. "Mine is Gutsman." said the chunky boy acting tough. "Wait a minute, isn’t Megaman the Navi that got deleted at the N1 Grand Prix?" asked Zero. "How did you hear about that?" asked Lan. "I had Satellite." said Zero. "Oh. We'll have a Net Battle later." said Lan. "How about right now, we still have about an hour before the next class?" challenged Zero. "Your on!" said Lan. "Are you crazy? You know what happens if you get caught Net Battling during school!" warned the chunky boy. "I don’t give a damn! Lan lead the way." said Zero. "Alright!" As Lan and Zero empty their trays and leave the lunchroom.In a room with a Net Battle arena in the center. "I think I will use you X." said Zero preparing one of his PETs. "X JACK-IN!" yelled Zero as he pulled the Jack plug from his PET and plugs it into the arena port. "JACK-IN MEGAMAN POWER UP!" yelled Lan as he pulled the Jack plug from his PET plugs it into the arena port as well. "You can lead if you want." said Zero. "New guys first." said Lan. "Alright, I gave you a chance. Cyber Sword, Wide Sword, long Sword, PROGRAM ADVANCE!" yelled Zero as he loads three battle chips into his PET, X's right arm turns into a short sword, his left arm turns into a wide short sword, and he quickly raises both arms into the air, as the energy of the three swords become one he slashes right at Megaman. "Megaman, dodge it!" yelled Lan. But he was too late it hit directly on him. "Megaman, are you alright?" asked Lan. As the smoke starts lifting you see a foot. "Yeah, you can't beat me with the program advance." the smoke lifts off the battlefield showing the foot sitting alone by itself. "Oh no, Megaman!" yelled Lan. "How do you have that much power?" he asked. "The last time I did that I completely deleted the other persons Navi." said Zero scratching the side of his head. "But how?" asked Lan again. "I’m leaving, see ya." said Zero as he walks past Lan. "I placed second in the N1 Grand Prix. So how did I lose that fast?" said Lan looking at his PET in defeat. When Zero leaves the room a girl is standing next to the door. "Hmm, who are you?" asked Zero. "My name is Maylu." she answered. "I saw what you did to Lan." she said looking worried. "So, what about it?" asked Zero in annoyance. "That wasn't very nice." said Maylu. "He lost because I'm a level that he will never reach through kindness." he said walking past her.Down the hall near the next class. "That was boring." said X. "I feel like doing something." said Zero. "Oh no." said the two Navis. "I’ve heard of a group called Grave…" Zero started but is interrupted by the headmistress. "You better just leave that group alone." she said warningly. "Yes ma’am." he said acting polite. With that said the headmistress walks away. "That was close." sighed Zero. "You better get to class." said X. "Fine, but after school is over I will go find them." said Zero. "Okay, just go." said X. "I’m going." said Zero in annoyance. "What’s my next class anyway Z?" asked Zero as he is walking. "Get this, Net Battle 101." said Z. "Let’s just say, boring." said Zero. "Yeah." agreed Z.Zero walks to the class and a middle aged man is waiting outside. "Just call me Mr. I." said the man. "You must be Zero?" he asked in addition. "Yup." said Zero and Z at the same time. "Z he was talking to me." said Zero. "Oh, sorry." apologized Z. "So you and your Navi have the same name." said Mr. I chuckling. "Yeah well, I’m use to it." said Zero. "Let’s go introduce you to the class." said Mr. I opening the door.Inside the extra large classroom with a Net Battle Arena in the center, everyone sits in their seats quickly and quietly. "Most of you might already know the new student, but for those who don’t his name is…" started the teacher. "Zero Xenos Slasher." finished Zero. "Ok, you may take a seat wherever you like." said Mr. I. "Okay." he said looking around the room. His eyes pass a girl smiling at him then winks. "That works." thought Zero. When he sits down the girl smiles happily. "Let’s start todays lesson, Zero since you're new I will have to test your skill." he said. "I haven't had a real challenge since I won the regional championship in America." said Zero. "Well then I better put you against the highest ranking student in the class." he said smiling. "Yay." whispered the girl next to him. "Zero you will be facing off against Jessica." he said. "Oh brother." sighed Zero. "You said it." agreed Z. "I can use either one of my Navis right?" asked Zero. "What do you mean?" he asked. "Oh yeah, you didn't know about me having two Navis." said Zero pulling out both PETs. "I thought Zero was your Navi?" asked Mr. I sounding a little confused. "Well he is but, X is also my Navi." explained Zero. "Well then, you may use either one." answered Mr. I. "Ok, thanks." said Zero with an evil looking smile. "Win or lose no hard feelings, right." said Jessica smiling happily. "I’ll just say this ahead of time, I’m sorry." said Zero looking at Z. "What’s that suppose to mean!" screamed Jessica. "I don’t go easy on anyone, JACK-IN ZERO POWER UP!" yelled Zero.Inside the battle arena the red armored Navi stands there with a face that would send fear down someones spine. "Finally, some exercise." said Z. "Hey Mr. I, how about we have everyone against both my Navis?" asked Zero. "Are you sure you want try that?" asked Mr. I. "I'm sure." said Zero smiling even more evilly than before. "Alright, but I can't assure the safety of your Navis." warned Mr. I as he pushes a button on his desk. "JACK-IN X POWER UP!" yelled Zero. "JACK-IN!" yelled the entire class. The arena is now filled with about forty different Navis. "Together again." said the brother Navis. "Oh yeah, I will not use any Battle Chips." said Zero at the last minute. "That’s suicide." said Mr. I concerned. "My Navis are unstoppable when they’re together. Z, X you know what to do." said Zero proudly. "Well then, begin the battle!" announced Mr. I raising his right arm into the air like a referee. About twenty Navis log out instantly. "Amazing, our master must see this." he thought as he hits another button on his desk.In a dark room a monitor turns on and shows the two Navis logging out every other Navi without using battle chips. Then it shows Zero watching the battle. "This is too easy, come on give me a challenge." he said laughing.Back in the classroom the battle is nearing an end. "I’m still here, Lionman attack with Lions Roar!" commanded Jessica. "Sorry, but that’s not going to be enough to even hurt either of them. X, ZERO NOW, ZX SHEILD!" he ordered. "Right." agreed both of them as they interlock their backs they yell "ZX SHEILD!" A clear white dome appears around them. "Good luck getting past this shield." said Zero laughing. "That’s not fair, you said that you weren’t going to use any chips." said Jessica angrily. "I didn’t use a chip." said Zero calmly. "You just did something I only heard rumors about." said Mr. I shaking nervously. "Yeah, I must’ve forgotten to tell you that X and Zero are twin." said Zero with a sweat drop sliding down the side of his head. "I never heard of twin Navis." said Jessica curiously. "The chance that twin Navis are created is one out of a thousand." he said shaking in fear. "Yeah, AND THIS IS ANOTHER ONE OF THEIR SPECIAL TECHS X, ZERO POWER ARMOR!" commanded Zero. "I thought this was a lie someone made up." said Mr. I. The two Navis separate and hold their arms out to their sides. "EXTREME ARMOR!" yelled X. "ZETA ARMOR!" yelled Z. As they start armoring up the lights in the room start to flicker. "Okay. The battle is over! The winner is Zero and his twin Navis X and Z." announced Mr. I. "X, Zero jack-out. I think we shown them our power." said Zero with a small smirk on his face. "Zero, I’d like to speak to you after class." said Mr. I. The rest of class goes by with no problems except all the students giving Zero evil glares finally the bell rings for school to let out. "You wanted to see me, sir?" asked Zero as he walked to Mr. I's desk. "Yes, I have a question for you." said Mr. I. "Go ahead, shoot." said Zero. "My master is looking for Net Battlers of really high levels, are you interested in joining us?" asked Mr. I. "Sure, I could use some excitement." said Zero smiling a little. "Good, than go to this location." he said sliding him a folded piece of paper. "What time?" asked Zero. "6:30pm, tonight." said Mr. I calmly. "I'll be there." said Zero as he leaves the classroom.Just outside of Den Tec Academy. "X, Z it looks like I won’t be bored after all." said Zero. "Are you sure you want to do this?" asked X. "Oh course I am! If I can get in their base we can get a big reward for bringing down the leader of Grave." explained Zero. "If you say so." said X. "I like this plan." said Z. "Well nothing left to do now but go home and wait." thought Zero.

A/N: Well I finally rewrote the first chapter of ENB it has been put on hold for a long time since I've been so busy. If you like this version better than the last one tell me please. Or if you think I should just stop trying to write a Megaman Fanfic all together. But anyways R&R flames welcome. Peace out fans.
