Mobile Suit Gundam Fan Fiction ❯ A new Dawning ❯ Life on Earth...ready...go! ( Chapter 1 )

[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]
Now, this is going to be my first attempt at a G Gundam fanfiction. It's been a while since I've been able to be writing anything, because I moved out of my old place and I'm staying with family. Anyway, this story, I haven't decided what it's going to be about just yet...or have I? We'll see. Oh, and go read my Twin's G Gundam fic."Metal Symphony" by Chibi SonGokou. It's a great fic.

A new dawning..

Chapter one:Life on Earth....ready....GO!

The evil Dark Gundam had been destroyed, and, our heroes, the Shuffle Alliance had headed to the Earth to live. The image of the Burning Gundam atop the noble steed Fuunsaiki while Dragon Gundam, Gundam Maxter, Bolt Gundam, and Gundam Rose all flew beside it. Domon had admitted his love to his childhood friend, Rain Mikamura, and with the love between the two, the Dark Gundam was defeated. And with the evil colony Mobile Fighter defeated, everyone was free to return to the Earth. Each fighter returned to their respective homes, Domon and Rain to Japan, George and Marie-Louis to France, Chibodee and his crew to America, Argo and Natasha to Russia, and Sai Sici to China to revive the Shaolin Temple. Everything seemed fine at first, but what of the other fighters? Mainly one...Allenby Beardsly...and the Shuffle Alliance.

Allenby noblely gave up the man she loved, Domon Kasshu to her friend and rival, Rain. She said it was the only way she could move on, but that isn't the case. She continues to love Domon, and, because of how akward she thinks it would be to see Domon and Rain together, hasn't made contact with them in over a year. She stayed in Neo Sweden, alone, honing her skills for the three years she still had before Gundam fight fourteen. It was really all that kept her going, though she knew she'd see Domon and Rain there when she did attend the fight. But, she wasn't going to let that stop her. She wanted to be a fighter still, even if she couldn't have the person that meant the most to her....Domon.

Chibodee Crocket, Neo America's fighter. He resides in New York, still living with his crew, while training as a boxer in his spare time to help him become a fighter strong enough to fight and finally defeat his best friend and rival, Domon Kasshu. He hadn't changed much, save aging a year older. He was as happy and fun to be around as ever. He was always fighting against others from New York, while his support crew worked a lot on trying to make adjustments to his already powerful Gundam Maxter. Chibodee had also managed to make a few new techniques to use in his Gundam, while trying to focus on the business that he and his friends had begun. They had opened a mechanic shop, surprisingly enough, and were making plenty of money doing so.

Sai Sici, the reviver of the Shaolin temple. Now eighteen the boy hadn't changed too much. He was still a kid, after all, but his fighting skills were improving daily. His Dragon Gundam was also being well kept, ready to take on any challenger, as was Sai. He had kept in contact with the others, mostly Domon, seeing as it was harder to get in contact with the others. He often visited his "bro" and "sis" at their home in Japan, always cooking them dinner even though he was the guest. His cooking skills had also improved greatly, and Domon and Rain always loved having their friend come over, even though they felt bad that he would always cook for them. Sai had decided to once more join the Gundam Fight with his Dragon Gundam, and trains day and night honing new skills, planning, just as Chibodee, to show up Domon this year at the fight.

Argo Gulskii, Space Pirate and former prisoner. He and Natasha had both left to once more be space pirates, but are often spotted on Earth. Argo has permantly "borrowed" the Bolt Gundam. Neo Russia's officials seem to not care, blowing the whole incident off, just hoping Argo is still planning to represent them. He has planned to do that as well, becoming a part time wrestler and fighter to train himself, winning numerous titles as a wrestler, though not caring, just caring that he keeps up his undefeated streak. Natasha has become Argo's support crew, and both have taken quite a liking to one another, though haven't officially said anything to the other. Those two were always stubborn, after all.

Georde de Sand, noble knight of France. He returned home, becoming more of a bodyguard than anything to Marie-Louise, who was still madly in love with him. He never left her side, save to let her change clothing and to rest. However, he wasn't just a normal bodyguard to her, they talked and spent time together, acting more like friends who just weren't able to be seperated. As for the Gundam Rose, it remains intact, as beautiful as ever, and being readied for the next Gundam Fight, which George plans on attending, to win the honor for Neo-France, as well as honor Ms. Marie-Louise.

*~*Japan, Kasshu household*~*

"Son, Rain, could you two come help me here?" Doctor Kasshu called out from his lab loudly, seemingly working on something. Domon's father was as much a scientist as ever, always working on some kind of gadget of gizmo. He currently lived with Domon and Rain, since neither wanted him yo go anywhere else. He had an amazing lab set up in their household, one where he would have anything he liked to tinker with.

"Coming Dad!" Domon yelled, leaping away from his training room and heading for the lab. Domon ran in, sweaty, shirtless, apparently having been training. "What is it you need help with Dad?" the twenty-one year old man asked, taking the towel that was around his neck and drying himself off slightly. Domon was the same as ever, training every day, and quite sure of himself. He and his Burning Gundam were both in tip top shape, as was Domon's steed, and friend, Fuunsaiki. "Sorry I didn't get here faster, I was in the training room again." Domon explained, waiting on his Father to tell him what he needed help with.

"It's fine son, I was just wondering if you could help me get this part off the table, it's quite heavy." the Doctor explained, pointing to a piece of machinery that seemed to be a huge gear, like one you'd find in a huge clock or something. "I tried to lift it, but I'm just not strong enough. Maybe with your help.." he said, but his son then single handedly picked the huge gear up, making the Doctor almost want to fall over. "Can you...just put it over there..?" he asked, pointing to a corner of the lab. Domon nodded and did as he was told. "That'll be all, son."

"Okay Dad, call me if you need more help." he said before heading out to the kitchen to go and get himself a snack. And there was Rain, making a sandwich for Domon already. "Hey Rain, you always manage to read my thoughts huh?" he questioned grinning before going to hug the brunnette woman, who smiled and hugged him back. "What kind of sandwich?" he asked, blinking a little. Domon was like a little kid when it came to food, and lately he had taken a liking to American food, after going to stay at Chibodee's for a weekend and having nothing else to really eat.

"Domon, you're acting childish, you know what it is, the same thing you ALWAYS ask for. Turkey and cheese." Rain answered before passing the sandwich to him. She smiled a little, but sighed, having a bit of bad news that she had to talk to Domon about. "Domon, could you come sit down with me for a moment..?" she asked sternly, letting Domon immediately know something was horribly wrong. The King of Hearts immediately put his sandwich down on the kitchen counter and sat in one of the chairs, while Rain sat in the opposite facing him. "Well, it's just that...I was offered a job at a Hospital the other day."

Domon's face suddenly brightened. "That's great, Rain! Is it the one in Tokyo that you applied for? I can't wait to tell Dad, he'll be so happy for you!" but Rain's face just remained sullen, and Domon suddenly silenced himself. This must be bad. But...how could her getting a job be bad news? 'She's been applying to hospital after hospital, seeing which ones needed Doctors and now she's found one....but something's wrong...what could it be...' he wondered to himself. Domon felt rather worried now and was just hoping this wasn't something Rain was going to be very upset about. But, he knew, that this was going to be a heartwrenching ordeal for the both of them, his instincts told him this...

"Domon...it's a hospital in Korea..." she said softly, closing his blue eyes, lowering her head sadly. Those words struck Domon right through the heart. Another nation. "I...I'm not going to take the job, I know you and your Father can't leave here..." she said, trying to smile, but Domon could tell how much Rain wanted to go. But, it would destroy their relationship, and that, Domon didn't want at all. Nor did Rain want that, but...if being a Doctor at that hospital was going to make Rain happy...then, Domon knew what he had to do, and, it would be for Rain's own good. Sighing to himself, Domon knew if he prevented Rain from going, he'd be hurting their relationship anyway...so, it had to be done.

"Rain, take the job." he said, his brown eyes closing and his lips faking a smile that wouldn't ever appear real. "It's what you've been waiting for, and...I'm not worth holding your dreams back for." he says, still trying to keep that smile there, while trying to hold back the true emotions that tried to show themselves. Domon wanted to cry, knowing he was letting not only a friend go, but the woman he had loved. "I mean, we're always going to be friends... no matter what. So...take the job...and, who knows, maybe one day down the road we can get back together..as friends." he says. He didn't want to think of them getting back together as a couple. It wouldn't happen. He wouldn't put that kind of worthless hope into his heart.

Rain smiled a little. Selfless Domon....the same as always. "Domon...t..thank you..." she said shakenly. "I...I'm sorry for this...maybe it wasn't meant to be." she muttered softly. They had been so in love, but personality wise they were more the friend type. One Domon could have come to if his relationship was in trouble, and Rain could do the same. "Domon, I'll always love you, you know." she said softly, trying to smile though tears freely flowed down her pale cheeks. "I'll always be your friend, your family..." she said. She would be like Domon's sister now...a best friend who Domon knew he couldn't lose in that sense at least. But the strain of a long distance relationship wasn't going to work for them, and they both knew this.

Domon stood and walked to Rain, hugging her. "I'll always love you too, Rain. I'll keep in touch with you, all right?" he questioned, smiling. Rain nodded as she continued crying in Domon's arms, as Domon felt the tears break from his eyes and let themselves loose. All this while, Domon's Father watched the two sadly, closing his eyes before backing back into his lab, wanting to leave the two alone, in perhaps the last time they might be together. At least..as lovers.

*~*Two and a half years later, China:Shaolin Temple*~*

Sai Sici sat praying silently within the walls of the temple, being the only one there at this time. He often would come here alone to pray, and sometimes ask his departed Father for guidence. "Father, please wish me luck, the Gundam Fight isn't too close, but..I just want you to watch over me. I shall win this year, for you." he explains, before opening his eyes and standing upward. Suddenly he noticed that there was a piece of paper...no, a letter, lying by the door. Going over to it he picked it up and opened the letter. It read, 'Club Ace, you have been challenged. Meet me in the battlefield I have set up in New York. Come alone, with your Gundam. Do not inform anyone of this letter at any costs. You have been warned.' Sai blinked. "What the heck?" the boy questioned. "New York...Chibodee?" he questioned. "Yeah..probably Chibodee messing with my head. Well, fine Chibodee, you want a match? You got one, hehe." Sai said, running from the temple and heading for where he left Dragon Gundam.

Chibodee laid on his back, working on a car while he whistled the national anthem. Suddenly one of his crew members came up to him and tapped his leg, making him jump and hit his head on the bottom of the car. "Damnit! Owwwww! Okay, who did that!?!" he yelled, coming out from under the car. There was Shirley. She smiled sheepishly. "Well, is there a reason you nearly made me kill myself on that damned car?" he asked, and she simply passed Chibodee a letter, then went off before he yelled at her more. "She made me hit my head for a letter...? Damnit..." he muttered, opening the letter, which read 'Queen the Spade. You have been challenged. My battlefield is your home, tell no one of this, come alone, with your Gundam Maxter, and be prepared.' was all this letter said. Blinking a bit Chibodee absent-mindedly brushed some of his blue hair with his hand. "Well, whoever this is, I'll be waiting for you pal." he says, standing and grabbing his jacket before heading toward Gundam Maxter, causing Bunny, Cath, Shirley, and Janet all watched him leave. They weren't surprised, he did this alot.

"Argo, there's a letter here for you!" Natasha simply said before handing it to him and heading back to the repairs she was doing to their ship. They were slightly stranded, having had a bit of an encounter with other pirates.

Argo blinked as he looked at this letter, no idea of who sent it or why they'd want to, or even how they found him. Opening it, the letter read, 'Black Joker, you have been challenged to a match. Tell none of this battle, and make your way to New York with your Bolt Gundam. Come alone, or you will pay for your disobeying.' Argo simply blinked. "Chibodee would do something this foolish, and it is set in New York..." Argo said, before heading to Bolt Gundam and just leaving toward the Earth with it, leaving a bewildered Natasha alone to repair this ship they shared.

"George! There's a letter here for you!" Marie-Louise told her knight, handing it to him, as well as giving him a kiss on the cheek before skipping off to go about her business back at the castle.

George blushed greatly, sighing a little. He was so timid when it came to her, and, though she was a bit younger, he had begun to wonder if he had fallen for her. Trying to shake the thoughts off he opened this letter he was given. It read, 'Jack in Diamonds, you, noble knight, are challeneged. Come to New York, I shall await you and your Gundam Rose. Tell no one of this, good sir knight, and come alone.' the letter was short and sweet. At first, hearing New York George immediately went to say 'Chibodee.' but he thought. The letter was written with grace. Chibodee wasnt capable of writing anything with grace. Deciding it best to see who this was rather than forget it, George entered his Gundam Rose and took off for the city of New York and his apparent battle ground.

*~*Sweden:Beardsly home*~*

Allenby sat in her small apartment home, sighing to herself. Her new crew was working on ideas to improve the Nobel Gundam, while she was resting after a long day of training. A knock came to her door and she jumped up, startled. No one ever came to see her. Standing up, brushing her blue bangs away from her green eyes, while adjusting her pink jacket, she walked to the door and opened it. A mailman stood there. "Ms. Beardsly?" the man questioned. "I have a letter for you." he says, passing it to her, then, tipping his hat to her walked off.

Allenby blinked slightly, looking over the letter for a moment. No address at all, except for her's. Reluctantly opening it she took the letter from the envelope and began reading it. 'Allenby Beardsly, fighter of Sweden, you have been challenged. Bring your Nobel Gundam to New York. Do not ignore this letter, and tell none of this letter.' the letter read. That writing seemed familiar to her, but since it was from New York she assumed that it was Chibodee Crocket. He of all people was challenging her? Shrugging, she picked up her keys, heading away from her apartment, locking the door behind her, she headed for her Gundam, planning on taking up Chibodee's apparent challenge. But...she was wrong, for Queen the Spade, as well as Club Ace, Black Joker, and Jack in Diamonds were all challenged. And what of the King of Hearts? Was he challenged too, and if so, why not?

Well, this is my first chapter, and, this will probably be a bit of an epic fic, with an ultimate evil rearing it's head to fight our beloved Shuffle Alliance. Maybe some old faces will even return. We'll see. Read and review.
