After saving Earthrealm from Shao Kahn's invasion, Johnny Cage felt enlightened and humbled. He remembered his fight with Shao Kahn that his body felt faster and stronger. Raiden revealed the truth of his origins; he learned the truth that he is descended from a Mediterranean cult that bred warriors for the gods: warriors with special abilities.
