Scorpion's Ending:

After Shao Kahn's death, Scorpion was summoned to the Lin Kuei temple and it was there that Sub Zero was waiting for him. Suspecting treachery from the new Lin Kuei grandmaster, Scorpion prepared for combat. Sub Zero assured him that he did not call him for treachery, but to reveal a truth he had learned. Sub Zero had revealed a memory from Sektor's severed head that he had acquired the aid of Quan Chi to eliminate the Shirai Ryu for the Lin Kuei. Enraged, Scorpion vowed that the sorcerer would pay for the deaths of his family and clan and he would not rest until Quan Chi is dead.
