Now that Outworld is freed from Shao Kahn's rule, Jade and Kitana had seen to it that Outworld's people were treated fair and just, like her late father King Jerrod had done before Shao Kahn murdered him. Kitana had appointed Jade as her personal advisor and bodyguard. Jade humbly accepted the positions and agreed to continue to serve her.
