This what you all have been waiting for. As always I do not own digimon I just make stories for it because it's a cool show. I just enjoy writing and having people read it. Please enjoy that's what I made it for.
The Final battle.
The chosen stood watching the sky on the day of destiny. The fight was about to begin as they watched they were all prepared for battle. They watched the sky with faces full of anger. All but, Ken who couldn't seem to stop smiling.
Tai: Ken how can you be happy at time like this?
[TK: He got laid yesterday.]
Tai: Oooooohhhhhhh.
Kari: We've been standing here forever. Why hasn't it started?
Sora: You pick really bad times to be impatient.
Kari: No I'm just anxious.
Matt: This might be a really bad day in history but, I feel like everything will be alright.
Izzy: I don't feel the same way.
Cody: The digimon are waiting for us in the digital world I wonder if they've seen anything.
Joe: I hope it doesn't happen, it could be really bad if we fail.
Davis: Then it's easy we just don't fail.
Mimi: What is it about Davis that makes things feel so simple?
Sora: I know we can beat her if we fight her together.
Glen said not a word he just stared up at the sky. Meanwhile in the digital world Gennai had just gotten a lock on Cheris' location and just like Izzy planned he activated the sky Monitor.
Gennai: This is all I can do for you children.
The monitor displayed all over the real world. The people of the world looked up at the sight of a young girl walking torwards a dark area with cliffs surrounded by digimon. The people were confused but, they kept watching.
Tai: There it is.
Kari: Where is that Izzy?
Izzy: I don't know.
Davis: What do you mean you don't know?
Izzy: I can't see enough.
Glen looked up at the sky and burst out running into the apartment.
TK: Glen?
Ken: Where are you going?
Ken had lost his smile after Glen took off. Everyone chased after Glen but, when they got to the room he was already in the digital world and they quickly followed.
Talonmon: Boss you're here.
Glen: Com'n.
Talonmon took off after Glen who didn't slow down one bit when he came. After a while of running Glen slowed down when realized the others weren't going to catch up with him. Shortly after they were running at his side.
Tai: Why did you run off like that?
Glen: I know where that was.
Cody: Really? where?
Glen: That was spiral mountain.
Kari: Yeah, it was but, how could you know that.
Talonmon: Me and the Boss used to train on that mountain.
Glen: And we also had one of our most feirce battles there we had to learn the terrain in order to fight.
Tai: So how do we do this?
Glen: We cut through the small fry and I'll handle Cheris.
Glen pointed his D-3 at Talonmon.
Talonmon warp digivolve to ShiningDosamon.
Agumon, Gabumon DNA digivolve to Omnimon.
Biyomon warp digivolve to Phoenixmon.
Patamon Warp digivolve to Seraphimon.
Veemon, Wormon DNA digivolve to ImperialDramon.
Gatomon warp digivolve to Ophanimon.
Armadillomon armor digivolve to Digmon.
Hawkmon digivolve to Aquillomon.
Palmon digivolve to Lilymon
Gomamon digivolve to Zudamon. [I hate doing this]
With all of their Digimon ready they sped off to the fight waiting for them. Cheris stood at the base of the mountain waiting for the time to pass.
Cheris: Still an hour and a half left.
Vasarimon: Looks like we have an audience coming.
Cheris: Fine then keep them occupied buy as much time as you can.
Vasrimon: How?
Cheris: Well you have an army of digimon figure it out .
Vasarimon: Yes mi'lady.
Vasarimon swung around and walked in the direction that the chosen were coming. He snapped his fingers causing the digimon to follow him as he looked at his fast approaching opponents.
Glen: Vasarimon.
Glen jumped from the back of Seraphimon and Kari jumped behind him and quickly followed him.
Vasarimon: Fetch.
With that word literally hundreds of Digimon decended the mountain torwards them.
Glen: Kari formation 12.
Kari: Got it.
Before the other chosen could catch up all they saw Kari's whole body light up.
Tai: What the?
Yolie: Wait up.
Yolie jumped down and ran after Glen and Kari. As Kari ran she grabbed Glen's hand and he launched her into the air over the digimon.
Matt: Oh my god.
TK: What did you do?
Glen: Watch.
Everyone looked up torward Kari and she was covered in light.
Kari: Light Missiles.
The light around Kari formed scicles and pulmeted down at the digimon impaling most of them taking out more than twenty. After the attack Kari flipped back to the ground and landed on her feet.
[Real world]
Talia: Glen? Oh my god! He's ok
[Japan]
Mr. Kamiya: Hell yeah Kari. That's my girl.
[Digiworld]
Tai: How? Kari I thought you could only use that on your body.
Kari: Glen thought me.
Suddenly a Digimon came at her from behind. Kari was going to take it out but, a sheild appeared around the digimon and the sheild dragged it back and launched it into the crowd.
Kari: Wha?
Yolie: Glen thought me how to perfect mine, too.
Yolie noticed out of the corner of her eye that the crowd was rushing at them. Yolie turned to Glen and he gave her a smile. She turned back to the crowd and set up a giant sheild around the digimon and after a short sprint to the sheild she placed her hand on it and it shattered inward like a glass room as the shards of the sheild came down splitting the digimon into pieces. while Vasarimon dodged the pieces and fell back to get reinforcments.
Yolie: Yes.
Glen: Good job girls.
Kari/Yolie: Thanks.
Ken: Have you ever felt so useless in your life?
Matt: No.
Tai: Nah ah.
TK: Not a chance.
Cody: How did you guys do that?
Glen: Well the crests have 3 stages. stage 1: allows your digimon to digvolve into the ultimate level. Stage2: Allows you to control a little of it's power.And stage 3: allows you to unlock the full power of your crest.
Davis: What then why did you only train the girls are you trying to make Glen's Angels or, something?
The girls blushed at the accusation.
Glen: No, I was already training Kari. And Yolie did something none of you guys did.
Everyone[even the digimon]: What?
Glen: She asked.
everybody scratched the back of their heads thinking "oh right" as Glen turned pulling his sword from his back and pointed it at the approaching digimon.
Glen: Thunder.
After he shouted that the sword emitted a sonic boom blasting back the enemies coming at him.
Glen: let's go.
He said as he led the charge into the heart of the crowd. The digimon ran torward the Chosen only to be knocked back like baseballs by Zudamon who was swinging wildly into the crowd. The people of earth recognized the Digimon but, were stumped by the armored wolf and sword weilding boy but, for some reason they felt that he was stronger than the others. They were right, Glen slashed the leg of a digimon right onto the horn of Aquillomon. Then Aquillomon jumped straight through Scorpiomon and flew into the air then he looked down at Glen and ShiningDosamon running through the crowd ripping everyone in their way. Vasarimon jumped into the crowd and slashed at Glen but, he leaned back and dodged then he flip kicked at Vasarimon but, Vasarimon spun out of the way and landed on the back a Cerubimon. ShiningDosamon jumped at him.
SDM: Tempest. [Done like Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia]
As he spun with both sword out to each side he ripped through the head of Cerubimon and chased after the fleeing Vasarimon.
Omnimon: Trancendant sword.
Omnimon slashed through a Mammothmon and sent a wave of energy at the digimon crowd and then backed out of the way for the blast ImperialDramon sent at the enemies clearing a line through the digimon Phoenixmon entered the opening and Spread it's wings unleashing an inferno killing the digimon on each side. Then she turned to the other side to see that more were coming.
Phoenixmon: There's no end to it.
Ophanimon: We'll handle it.
Opahnimon/Seraphimon: Angel's Halo!
A golden halo stretched over the digimon and split them in half by closing. At that monent Digmon came from the ground and stabbed through a muramon and spun back launching his drills into a Drimogimon.
Liliymon: Flower necklace.
She said as she dropped flowers around the necks of the digimon that were coming at her and they left the battlefield.
Lilymon: Good boys.
She turned to see Glen standing at the edge of a cliff looking down.
Lilymon: Are you ok?
Glen didn't answer he just looked at her and then turned back to the thing he was staring at Lilymon went to his side and looked down. Cheris was looking up at Spiral mountain waiting for the hour of twilight to come only an hour remained.
Lilymon: There she is. I'll go get the others.
Before she could turn Glen grabbed her arm and pulled her back and stared in her eyes. After a while Lilymon blushed at him.
Lilymon: Glen?
Glen: I want you to keep everyone here for me ok.
Lilymon: What!?
Her blush disappeared after hearing that.
Glen: I want to do this alone. Please.
Lilymon looked at him for a moment thinking before she finally nodded after a hug and a thank you he left Lilymon there blushing at him as he ran away.
Glen: CHERIS!!!!
She turned to him after he shouted the other chosen turned to his voice they had defeated the digimon. Three digimon still protected Cheris. Glen dodged a punch from a Giantmon attack and he jumped up it's arm and ran to it's shoulder he slashed it's shoulder blade and slashed back lopping off it's head and as he jumped from it. As he came down he cut a DarkTyrannomon in half and when he hit the ground he punched off the head of a puppetmon as he continued running at Cheris. The other chosen ran to the cliff but, Lilymon cut them off.
Omnimon: What are you doing?
Lilymon: He asked me not to let you pass and I won't.
Tai: Lilymon we have to...
Kari pushed to the side and looked down at Glen who was fast approaching Cheris.
Kari: He wants us out of the way. He's been planning this from the beginning.
TK: What? So he's gonna fight her?
Kari: Yeah. If he has to. He doesn't want us to get hurt in the battle. Besides it's not like she can beat Sensei. Just cheer him on we're spectators now.
Glen finally caught up to Cheris and she turned to face him.
Cheris: So you came huh?
Glen: Cheris this has to stop now. What will you gain out of destroying the worlds?
Cheris: Fulfillment.
Glen: What?
Cheris: I think you know. It's nothing worse than having a goal you can never reach, you know.
Glen: If you do that everyone will die.
The people of earth began to watch closer at the sky.
Cheris: What do you care? Do you remember how you were treated when you were younger?
Glen: Yeah I do.
Cheris: The loneliness, the anger, the fear, the pain.
Glen: Yeah I do.
Everyone on the cliff were taken back by what they heard. It showed them how little they really knew about Glen.
Cheris: Haven't you ever wish they would just die?
Glen: Yeah I have but, problems that small can't be considered problems. I'll never bitch about my problems when there are people out there that have it worse than me. I'm not that selfish.
Cheris: Glen you are too simple.
Glen: Cheris you don't have to do this.
Cheris: Yes I do.
Glen: Cheris this is insane. I won't let you do this.
Cheris: WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?
Glen: The person who's trying to save you.
Cheris: I don't FUCKING need to be saved.
Cheris started storming at Glen until they stood face-to-face.
Cheris: So are you going to stop me? Then fight me.
Glen: No.
Cheris: Fight or I'll kill you.
Glen: No.
Cheris: Fine.
Cheris leaned in and kissed Glen, he accepted the kiss and looked at her as she backed off and pulled her dagger. She thrusted it at Glen. Everyone on the cliff and on earth jumped as the dagger neared but, suddenly it stopped. Glen grabbed Cheris' arm.
Glen: Did you think I would fall for same trick twice?
He threw her hand to the side and caused her to drop the dagger. She looked down at the dagger and without turning her head she looked at him out of the corner of her eye.
Cheris: No, I wanted you to fall for this.
[Music que: Points of Authority [Extended for fight]-linkin park]
She swung her right hand around at Glen and in mid swing her arm accellerated at incredible speeds and punched Glen. Glen leaned to the side and blood spewed from his mouth, then she turned and swung her left the same way and punched Glen again he leaned to the other side when he did she kicked him in the chest and when he stumbled back she jumped into a scythe kick to his stomache. Glen went rolling back across the ground until she popped up the ground in behind him when he hit it he stood up with his back against it and his eyes shot open as Cheris ran at him. She opened her palm and thrusted it into Glen's stomache sending him flying through the wall she had made for him and he slid along the ground until he came to a stop on the ground.
Ken: Cheris can take Glen!?
TK: How can she be so strong.
Kari: She's not.
Tai: What do you mean?
Kari: She's using the crest of life to make the air accelerate her body so that her hits have more punch. A trick she never used on me. She almost killed me and she was toying around.
Kari clenched her fist as she looked on at the fight.
Cheris: Glen you think I need to be protected? Do you think need you?
As Glen laid on the ground she jumped with both knees out and she landed on his stomache and Glen coughed up blood and as soon as he did she latched her hand around his neck and began to squeeze
Cheris: Fight back or I'll kill you. Then I'll kill them.
Glen's eyes shot open and he grabbed her arm pulled it off and held her arm tightly.
Glen: You want me to fight back. FINE MUSCLE EXPANSION.
Glen's right arm buffed up to the size of a couch and everyone looked on in shock even Kari didn't know about that.
Glen: Scared? this is my third stage. Maybe I can beat some sense into you.
Cheris tried hard to free her arm but, Glen's grip was too tight he pulled his arm back and punched her in the stomache so hard her body split in two. Glen threw her upper half to the ground and stared back at her. The people in the real world were shocked at his bloodlust but, the chosen knew better.
Glen: How long are you going to stay down there?
Cheris' eyes looked down at Glen and then her body reattached. Once again the people of earth were shocked. Even after she restored herself she could still feel the pain. When she looked up Glen he had spun around and punched her in the face so hard she flew back through a mountain and when she tried to stop herself she flew into another one and rolled to the ground when she looked up again Glen was standing at the side of her.
Cheris: How did you?
Glen: Yeah, fast wasn't it?
He reached down and grabbed her by the neck, spun around and launched her into the tip of a cliff. Her body broke through the cliff and kept going.
Glen: Muscle expansion.
this time his legs buffed up and he jumped all the way up to where Cheris was flying and grabbed her leg.
Cheris: Wha?
Glen: Windmill.
Glen started to spin while holding Cheris' leg and when they reached the ground he slammed her face first into the ground but, didn't stop he spun her face into the ground rapidly. Until finally he threw her into the wall of a cliff. Cheris laid in the mark her back made for a minute before she finally came out and stood staring at Glen.
Cheris: Let's do this then.
Glen: As you wish.
Cheris and Glen both did hands signs at each other.
Cheris: Clone Jutsu.
Cheris: Clone Jutsu.
They both made two clones and charged at each other.
[Real world]
Kakashi: So that is the same Glen.
Jiraya: He's grown alot.
Kakashi: This should be an interesting fight.
Tsunade: Yes it should but, Kurenai sheild it from the rest of the village. It might cause a panic and we don't want that.
Kurenai: Yes Hokage sama.
Kurenai did hand signs and put a powerful Genjutsu over the village to hide the image in the sky but, those in that room could see clearly through the illusion. Similar acts were done in all of the hidden villages but, one person kept a close eye on the fight..
[Digital world]
One of Glen's clones flipped back at him and and landed both of his feet in Glen's hand. After and short sprint he launched the clone at Cheris. The clone turned and spun sideways knocking out Cheris' two clones but, the real one crushed Glen's clone with a rock and then she hopped on it and flew at Glen. Cheris hovered over Glen and smashed him with the rock and then she did smoke came from under it.
Cheris: What?
Glen: Muscle expansion.
Cheris looked up to see Glen coming down at her with both arms locked looking about the size of car. When he came down he sent an axe handle smash down to her head. When it hit she fell through the rock she was on and sent her plummeting through the ground. Glen stood a good distance away from the hole not giving her the chance to hit him suddenly he was hit by a blast of wind and he was sent flying and when he was in the air the wind changed direction and slammed on the cliff where the others were. They rushed over to him.
Cody: Glen are you ok?
Lilymon: Can you stand?
Glen sat up to one knee and gave Cody a look. Cody recognized it from their training it meant to move as quick as he could. Cody teleported back to the others and Glen cradled Lilymon and jumped into the air and the second he did Cheris turned the floor to spikes and emerged from the ground. Kari stayed her distance she knew Glen would get mad if she interfered. She looked at Cheris who was doing hand signs.
Cheris: Phoenix Jutsu.
Cheris' body caught fire and she launched herself into the air at Glen. Glen let go of Lilymon and took the full force of the hit. She flew up and hit Glen in the face and then she spun around and came back hitting him again and repeated over and over again until finally she rose over him and flew down at full speed and slammed him into the ground and sent her fire straight to him burning him.
Glen: AAAGGARAHAHARAHH.
Cheris held him down by his arms then Glen headbutted her off of him and then he punched her as he got up. When she stumbled back he did a sideways spin kick to her face sending her flying back through the group of chosen. As she flew she looked at Kari then looked over to Glen as he ran at her. She flipped to her feet and landed on the ground and started hopping back away from him until finally she jumped back from the cliff without turning from Glen. He axe kicked her in the shoulder and broke it. Then he moved in behind her and punched her in the back and dragged her on his fist until he reached the ground then he flipped back to gain distance. When she finally stood up she turned to him and wiped the blood from her mouth. Glen began to do hand signs and then he placed his hand on the ground.
Glen: Earth staff Jutsu.
he pulled a staff from the ground and held it up. Cheris smiled at Glen and stomped the ground creating her own staff and it came up to her hand after she stepped on it. Then she lifted it spun it around and placed it her shoulders and held it with both arms after that she pushed her hips to the side and turned her head smiling halfway at Glen. Making a very sexy pose even the chosen boys had to admit she was crazy but, she was HOT!.
Boys: DAMN!
[Earth]
Boys: DAMN!
5[Digital world]
The boys quickly shook their minds out of the gutter and got their attention back on the fight.
Cheris: Hehe, Remember this pose used to drive you crazy.
Glen: Truthfully it still does.
Cheris: You're still as sweet as always, Heartstopper.
Glen: I don't want to fight Cheris.
Cheris: Sorry, but we have goals that collide with each other. I want to kill everything, you wanna live so we don't have a choice. Prepare yourself.
Glen: Fine.
Glen swung his staff sideways and Cheris ducked under it and swung her body to the side and spun her staff around torwards Glen as she came up he spun out of the way and swung his staff at her feet she hopped over it. Cheris trusted her staff at his head in the same motion and spun in mid-air spining the staff down at Glen and hit him with both attacks. Glen rolled back after the hit and caught himself with the staff and began doing hand seals.
Glen: Staff break Jutsu.
Cheris: Huh?
Glen spun around and swung his staff at Cheris and she back out of the way but, when she did the top of the staff broke off and flew into her face knocking her back. Cheris spun off her feet after the hit but, when she looked back the part of the staff was coming back. It came back and hit her in the face and she swung around to Glen seeing a fuzzy view of him swinging the other half at her when it hit her she span around just to be hit by the other piece. The Staff pieces continued to hit her rapidly until they both stopped on opposite sides of her spinning at her and after a short wait they closed in and spun on her like propellers on each side until they vanished. When they did Glen ran to Cheris and punched but, she moved out of the way punched him twice in the stomache, elbowed him in the chest, and uppercutted him. After he popped in the air she flip kicked him in chin sending him flipping backwards. While he was in the air she brought the ground to life and a pillar rose and hit Glen higher into the air. Then she did it again and he popped up higher when he did she sent another pillar at him but, he spun around and dodged it looking down at the 40 foot drop waiting on him but, on his descent Cheris sent another pillar at him. Glen looked at the surroundings he had to think fast. He noticed that the previous pillar was close to a cliff he was between two walls. So as the new pillar was coming at him he jumped back between the previous pillar and the cliff quickly to get back up to top before he got hit. He was successful. He jumped up higher and spun down at the pillar and punched down his fist went through it until he finally reached the bottom. When he did he buffed up his leg and kicked the pillar in front of him sending a chunk of it flying at Cheris. When it got close enough she leaned back under it and grabbed the bottom of it as it flew then she flipped herself onto it.
Cheris: GLEN!!!
He answered her call as he jumped on the rock and punched her in the face. She flipped off the rock as it flew back and she grabbed in the bottom once again and swung herself back up kicking Glen in the back. He fell off and turned around punching the rock crushing it sending Cheris flying forward as he dropped to the ground they had a lot of distance between them. Glen started doing hand signs. After he took out a Kunai and threw it into the air but, suddenly it started to come down and it was over 500 kunai coming at Cheris.
Glen: Kunai rain jutsu.
Cheris dodged the kunai as if she was dancing out of the way when they all landed she had dodged every one but, the kunai had paper attached to them.
Cheris: Exploding tags!?
Xheris quickly flipped out of the way as they exploded and looked on at Glen who was doing more seals.
Glen: Flying earth dragons.
The ground began to shake underneath their feet and on each side of Glen two serpent shaped rock dragons about fifty feet tall and forty feet wide started to snake through the ground on it's way torwards Cheris.
Cheris: Oh no.
She kneeled down and copied Glen's seals calling forth her own set of Dragons and as they moved along the ground they collided with each other. Cheris smiled as the dragons disappeared but, was shocked that the ground under her shook once again.
Cheris: He used it twice!?
One of the pair caught Cheris and dragged her into the air scattering on impact. The dragon fell apart after it took her 75 feet into the air and the second dragon came for her she used the wind to split it down the middle as she came down she saw that Glen was once again doing hand signs.
Glen: Time for my specaility. Nores style ninja art: Aura clone Jutsu!
Glen made three blue replicas of himself. The Nores family speciality was the control over auras but, only Glen had mastered every aura jutsu. No one outside the bloodline could use it. [So you can kind of say it was his bloodline limit]. The clones flew torward Cheris who was using the wind to keep herself airborne. Cheris didn't know what to do she didn't even know what he had done. When the first Clone attacked she moved out of the way but, the clone spun around and kicked her in the stomache exploding on impact she flipped back only to be caught by another clone and blown up when she began to roll on her descent a clone uppercutted her blowing her up again. Cheris flew higher and higher but, when she opened her eyes Glen was jumping up to her she thrusted both arms at him and the wind blasted Glen back to the ground he flipped as the wind blew him and he landed on his feet. the impact caused the ground to cave in and she continued to push the wind on him making the crater deeper. From the pressure his arm got dislocated and soon the pressure would crush him.
Glen: DAMMIT.
Glen placed both hands on the ground and he pushed them both back into place and stood doing hand signs.
Glen: Nores style ninja art: Aura control jutsu.
Glen's aura went wild and suddenly it focused into his fist. Glen looked up and punched three times and his aura went up in the form of a giant fist. The first punched her hard causing her to flip the second punched her and dragged her upward until it vanished and the third fist opened and grabbed her and after Glen thrusted his arm to the side gesturing for the aura to move he threw her into the wall of a cliff. She sat there until she noticed that Glen had jumped into the air he punched twice and did a spin kick that form a slash. The fist punched her all the way through the cliff and she came out of the other side the second punch hit her in the face making her spin and the slash cut her in half. She pulled her self together right before she hit the ground now too tired to fight. Glen walked up to her as she struggled to her feet. Glen was doing hand sign as he walked and she could barely move even with the ability to heal herself. Glen burst out running at Cheris and he grabbed her neck not squeezing just holding.
Glen: God's seal jutsu.
Suddenly Cheris' eyes shot open and she screamed loudly.
Tai: What is that move?
Kari: I don't know.
Cheris: AAAARAAGGGGHHHHHH
Glen: Just a little longer.
Mean while ShiningDosamon and Vasarimon were fighting. the sound of digizoid metal could be heard miles away. Vasarimon was trying to catch SDM but, he was to strong he swung down his two blades and knocked Vasarimon to the ground and while he looked down at him he began to spin.
ShiningDosamon: Shining sword twister.
SDM spun around ripping through Vasarimon and after the final hit he knocked Vasarimon off the cliff he fell into a pit.
Vasarimon: AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH.
ShiningDosamon: good ridance.
SDM looked over torwards the battle with Cheris and saw what was happening.
ShiningDosamon: Boss!!!
He burst out running past the chosen who started following.
Cody: What is that move?
ShiningDosamon: It's a move used to seal the power of the enemy. But, only for short time. He's trying to seal her crest until the hour of twilght is over.
Sora: So you say that he's trying to save her.
ShinungDosamon: Yeah, but it'll drain all of his energy.
He said as he quickly made his way over to them. Glen removed his hand and looked on at Cheris who was breathing heavily.
Cheris: Too soft.
Glen: What?
Cheris: YOU'RE TOO SOFT!!!!!
She screamed as she hit him back with the wind and popped up the ground to raise her up on top of spiral mountain. The hour of twilight had began. As she landed on her perch she unleashed the full power of her crest. The ground began to shake feircly the wind blew uncontrollably and the affects were also reaching the real world.
ShiningDosamon: Boss we have to get up there only you can stop her.
Glen: ShiningDosamon I can't.
ShiningDosamon: Well if you don't everyone and everything will die here. You can do this.
Glen looked up at ShiningDosamon and nodded he started to climb the mountain. As SDM approached the mountain he felt something and when he turned Vasarimon stabbed into his chest and twisted the dagger. SDM thrusted both of his swords into Vasarimon and held him there as Glen and all of the others just looked on.
Glen: ShiningDosamon!!!
ShiningDosamon: This is it for me, you go on don't worry I'll be back soon but only if you can do what you have to do..
Vasarimon: Let me go!!
ShiningDosamon: Not a chance I don't think Cheris can heal you if she's up there. So I guess the party's over for you too. Hey Boss I know it's hard but, there is no return for her all you can do now is save her from herself, so do it before it's too late. good bye for now, Glen.
Glen: You called me....
ShiningDosamon: Shining explosion.
After that he blew himself and Vasarimon into pieces Glen looked at the sight and tried his best to fight back tears as he climbed up the mountain. The other chosen were mourning over the loss of their comrade but, kept watch over Glen the world could end if he didn't do some thing. Glen was out of energy but, now he had a new determination. He climbed to the top and looked at Cheris who had lost control of her self. He fought against the wind that was blowing him back. He walked all the way to Cheris while thoughts of the time they spent together flashed through his mind. He pulled his sword and stood in front of her and thrusted his sword into her chest with his strength he pushed it all the way through her chest and before the hole could heal he stuck his hand inside and grabbed her heart. The quakes stopped and she looked at Glen as he squoze. she gasped and cried from the pain. Glen had to use all of his strength the crest of life had a barrier around her heart and it was like a normal person trying to crush a rock. She coughed up blood and screamed out causing him to momentalily weaken his grip many times. It took 4 minutes for him to break the barrier and with a final squeeze it was done she fell out and Glen caught her. The other chosen had caught up and looked down on Glen who was holding Cheris who was still alive at the moment until the crest of life offically lost it's power. Glen looked at her as the crest of life came off of her and went to his right hand. It burned when it first came on him but, soon subsided.
Cheris: I guess it's yours now, Heartstopper you win.
Glen: Quit the act!
Cheris: Huh, what do you?
Glen: I'm not stupid Cheris.
Cheris closed her eyes and smiled.
Cheris: How long have you known?
Chosen: What?
Glen: You're not a good actor you never wanted to win.
All of the chosen were confused at this point.
Cheris: What gave it away?
Glen: My first clue was when you stabbed me. I thought why would you stab me in the stomache if you wanted me dead especailly if I was the only one who could stop you.
All of the chosen were shocked how they never thought about that.
Glen: The second was when you fought Kari. You smiled at me, a real smile I kept thinking what would make you smile like that so I replayed that night over and over and it hit me. You smiled after I cut off your hand. You were happy that would actually fight back, it was what you were hoping for. The third was that when you possessed people no matter what we did to them they got back up. You were healing them you didn't want them to actually get hurt. I wondered why would you heal pawns. But, the biggest clue was after I went to the hospital I healed faster then I normally did I was perplexed until Kari told me that the window was open the day I woke up and she didn't know who did it. It was you wasn't it?
Everyone's eyes shot wide open as they waited for the answer.
Cheris: Yeah. it was. I only healed you enough that you wouldn't hurt. When I fought Kari I didn't expect for you to heal her.
Glen: You didn't kill my grandfather either did you?
Cheris: No, but I was there when it happened I felt so bad that I couldn't stop him. I knew that you wouldn't kill me if I was innocent so I said it so you wouldn't hold back when the time came. I had no choice my destiny was to do this and your destiny was to stop me. So I came up with the plan to cause a disturbance that those chosen would find and lure them together with you. That way you would not be alone. You see the only way for me to be saved from my destiny was for ou to fulfill yours.
Glen: Cheris no one is tied down by destiny.
Vheris: Was it your will to become a chosen we all have destinys that we must obey and that is the way of the world.
Glen: You're wrong.
Cheris: Huh?
Glen: It's true that I didn't have a choice in whether I was chosen or not but it was my choice to stay one. After we came back I could thrown my D-3 away and left but, I stayed a chosen because my heart said it was the right thing to do. It's also true that everyone is born with a path laid out for them. But, it is solely up to that person whether they walk that path or pave one for themself.
Cheris' eyes teared up at his words.
Cheris: I just wish I could have talked to you before. I'm sorry. I didn't want to hurt any of your friends, wait, I'm lying.
Cheris turned her head to Kari.
Cheris: Kari, I hate you, not because you did anything to me but, because I was a fool. I let myself be tricked into thinking the way I did and I had to be away from him. Then suddenly there you were laughing, talking, sharing stories. You were where I wanted to be, I felt replaced. Jealousy truly is a weak emotion. I'm sorry.
Cheris turned back to Glen and put her hand on his face.
Cheris: I lo...ve..you..Gl...en.
She said right before her hands fell and he eyes closed. Cheris was dead. Glen looked down tears filling his eyes but, he wouldn't let them fall. He looked at his left hand where the crest of life was and he tried hiis best to use it he even pounded his hand. Until finally he faced reality, it was over he sat there looking at nothing for quite a while.
[Gennai: I'm so sorry.]
He thought as he cut off the monitor to the real world. While people were confused on how exactly to take what just happened.
Tsunade: Such a shame.
Kakashi: I hate that it had to end like this.
Tsunade: Remove the genjutsu.
When the monitor vanished the genjutsu on all the hidden villages disappeared, they would have to think of a way to explain the earthquakes later.
[Digital world]
As Glen sat there the chosen were wondering what to do. Tai being the only one with the courage to do anythng walked over to Glen and placed his hand on his shoulder. Glen looked at him and smiled a very empty smile. Some of the group members even started to cry when saw him like that. The smile was so shallow in fact that he couldn't hold it long he looked down at Cheris and picked her up walked to a good patch of ground sat her down then he punched ground creating a hole. He picked Cheris back up jumped in the hole and laid her down and crossed her arms. He jumped out of the hole and bent over scooped a hand full of dirt and tossed it into the hole. This proved to be too much for him to handle tears erupted from his eyes and he looked up to the sky as the tears flowed. It hurt, it hurt alot. Finally he felt hands on his shoulders he looked over to see Kari with tears falling down her face and on the other was TK . TK leaned over and picked up some dirt and threw it in the hole then looked at Glen with a look that said " this is ok right?" Glen just smiled and continued to fill the hole Kari started helping as well. The other chosen walked over and helped. After the hole was full he looked over to Palmon and Gatomon who held a cross that they stuck at the head of the grave. Everyone stood in front of and bowed their heads.
Glen: Can someone say something?
Davis stepped up [more like pushed up] and he cleared his throat
Davis: Uh, Here lies Cheris. I guess she wasn't so crazy after all.
TK: Dammit Davis.
Kari: You are such an asshole.
Glen: Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
Everyone smiled at Glen it was refreshing to hear him laugh. Finally Davis continued.
Davis: I believe that if things didn't go the way they did you and Glen would be one of us. I thank you for giving us one of the best friends we ever made. Rest in Peace.
After a moment of silence they left for home.
Kari: What do you mean?
Izzy: You've gotta be kidding.
Yolie: You you can't.
Glen: Yeah after Talonmon comes back I'm going back home. I mean I haven't seen my mother in two whole years. I have to go back.
Mr. Kamiya: It'll be boring here without you.
Glen: I'll come back you guys. Stop acting like I'm leaving for good.
Cody: It's just that after the time you've been here it kind of feels like you've always been here. it's just hard to see you go.
Glen: Yeah I feel the same way.
Tai: Then why don't we make the best of the time have.
The chosen had enjoyed the time they had days of basketball, car races, football games, soccer games, concerts, and nights of romance. But, Kari woke up every night to find Glen on the banister outside staring up torwards the moon. He hadn't slept at all since the battle. Kari walked up to him but, turned back because she didn't know what to say but before she could go Glen pulled her to him and held her close. She didn't move not even a little she just melted into his arms and relaxed on his shoulder. It had been a week since the battle and as everyone was deep in conversation Glen's D-3 began to beep he looked at it and smiled as well as the others even though they knew that this would mean he has to leave now.
[A few minutes later in the digital world]
In primary village.
Clawmon: Com'n Duresmon keep up.
Duresmon: Oh yeah, I'll catch you in a minute just hold on.
The baby digimon ran around playing tag and as Duresmon caught up to Clawmon he jumped and landed on something.
????: Having fun?
Clawmon: Boss!!!
Glen: So you went back to calling me boss huh?
TK: Electmon how are you?
Electmon: Just fine. I saw everything that happened, I'm just sorry that I wasn't there to help you guys.
TK: We were ok Electmon besides if something happened to you who would watch the babies?
Electmon: Good point. Hey Patamon you reconsider taking over the village for me?
Patamon: Maybe someday old man.
Duresmon: See ya Clawmon.
Clawmon: Yeah see you later Duresmon.
Glen: Who is that?
Clawmon: Vasarimon's baby form.
Glen had a shocked expression as he looked down at the smiling digimon thinking about how Vasarimon was. It couldn't be him could it? Glen turned and walked away with all of the other chosen following in behind him not knowing what to say. They definitely wanted to say some thing they just didn't know how to word it before they knew it they were standing in front of the american digiport with Glen facing it holding Clawmon. without turning he spoke.
Glen: This has been one wild ride, eh guys?
Tai: It sure has.
Glen: This is just what it means to have in adventure some day it has to end.
Davis: Yeah but, we'll have to make sure to go on more Glen.
Glen: Yeah, I'll be back and we'll do alot of fun things maybe you can even meet my mom.
Sora: We'd like that.
Glen: Maybe even hang out in my house.
Cody: Yeah then we can train in your Dojo and I can jack up your house.
Glen: Yeah right. I think that's impossible.
Matt: You've shown us that nothing is impossible man I mean jumping on cars making rock dragons. Man that was cool.
Glen: Not as ...
Mimi: Cool as it felt I know but I wish I could do that.
Glen: Maybe I can teach you.

Kari had looked around trying not to think about the fact that Glen was leaving. He had only been there two months and half and he had already become a crucial part of their life especially hers. She didn't want him to go but, she didn't want to say that she didn't want to be that selfish.
Kari: Glen.
Glen: Yes Kari?
Kari: Take care yourself and please come back to us. You still have plenty of things to tell me about.
Glen: I promise.
Glen turned back to the digiport and waited as the others began to walk off.
Clawmon: Are you ok?
Glen: Yeah [As you go through Life there will be hardships many times when you may give and feel alone. The way it feels to be in this Darkness I know all too well. I have traveled through it for a while. But I know now that as long as you have Courage you will make it through and find people who will offer Friendship and Kindness to help you. Protect yourself and those around with the Intelligence and Reliability. Fight with the Strength to crush everything in your way but, also to protect everything behind you. Always be sincere to the ones you Love. With all of this even if you feel alone always keep Hope in your heart, keep walking and you will surely find the Light at the end of the tunnel.] Digiport open!
Meanwhile the other chosen were walking through the feild of grass.
Yolie: That was beautiful.
Mimi: Yes it was.
Matt: What are you guys talking about?
Yolie: What Glen just thought, it was beautiful.
Tai: Really, what did he say?
Mimi: It wouldn't be the same if we said.
TK noticed that Kari was really quiet when he looked closer at her he realized she had tears flowing down her face. TK reached out and wiped the tears from her face and pulled her closer to him. She welcomed his touch and laid comfortably into her boyfriend's chest.
TK: Don't worry Kari he'll probably come back soon.
They chosen quickly turned to the sound of fast footsteps. It was Glen he had come back he was breathing heavily and Clawmon was also.
TK: See. What's wrong miss us already?
Glen: The american server it's still closed.
Matt: What? But, you beat Cheris it should've opened.
Izzy: Then that could only mean....
The focus switches to the grave site of Cheris where a boy had just kicked over her cross.
????: So Cheris failed, huh.
????: It was to be expected she was trying to lose. She makes us women look bad.
????: Would you be able to fight me if that happened?
????: If I had to.
????: That's my girl. So Herron what's the plan now, guess it's over.
Herron: No it just means that the goal has changed Mugen.
Mugen: well what's the plan now?
????: Yeah tell us.
Herron: Well Ailia, instead of destroying the worlds we'll just rule them.
Ailia: I like that plan.
????: But, what about them?
Herron: Well I leave that to you Geese.
Geese: Fine. Just tell me who to kill.
Ailia: My heart is aching to kill that Kari girl.
Ailia's crest lit up and it was the crest of Darkness. [ Opposite of Kari's]
Geese: I want that Ken guy for some reason I want him to die.
Geese's crest lit up showing the crest of Hatred. [opposite of Ken's]
Mugen: I will kill TK. Me and Ailia will take out Hope and Light.
Mugen's crest lit up showing the crest of Dispair. [opposite of TK's]
Herron: Well relax first we will have to eliminate their strongest link. After that the chain will fall apart. Hahahahahahahahahahahaha.
Herron's crest lit up and showed that it was the crest of Mind. [opposite to all]
The battle was not over it was just beginning.

The Final battle.
The chosen stood watching the sky on the day of destiny. The fight was about to begin as they watched they were all prepared for battle. They watched the sky with faces full of anger. All but, Ken who couldn't seem to stop smiling.
Tai: Ken how can you be happy at time like this?
[TK: He got laid yesterday.]
Tai: Oooooohhhhhhh.
Kari: We've been standing here forever. Why hasn't it started?
Sora: You pick really bad times to be impatient.
Kari: No I'm just anxious.
Matt: This might be a really bad day in history but, I feel like everything will be alright.
Izzy: I don't feel the same way.
Cody: The digimon are waiting for us in the digital world I wonder if they've seen anything.
Joe: I hope it doesn't happen, it could be really bad if we fail.
Davis: Then it's easy we just don't fail.
Mimi: What is it about Davis that makes things feel so simple?
Sora: I know we can beat her if we fight her together.
Glen said not a word he just stared up at the sky. Meanwhile in the digital world Gennai had just gotten a lock on Cheris' location and just like Izzy planned he activated the sky Monitor.
Gennai: This is all I can do for you children.
The monitor displayed all over the real world. The people of the world looked up at the sight of a young girl walking torwards a dark area with cliffs surrounded by digimon. The people were confused but, they kept watching.
Tai: There it is.
Kari: Where is that Izzy?
Izzy: I don't know.
Davis: What do you mean you don't know?
Izzy: I can't see enough.
Glen looked up at the sky and burst out running into the apartment.
TK: Glen?
Ken: Where are you going?
Ken had lost his smile after Glen took off. Everyone chased after Glen but, when they got to the room he was already in the digital world and they quickly followed.
Talonmon: Boss you're here.
Glen: Com'n.
Talonmon took off after Glen who didn't slow down one bit when he came. After a while of running Glen slowed down when realized the others weren't going to catch up with him. Shortly after they were running at his side.
Tai: Why did you run off like that?
Glen: I know where that was.
Cody: Really? where?
Glen: That was spiral mountain.
Kari: Yeah, it was but, how could you know that.
Talonmon: Me and the Boss used to train on that mountain.
Glen: And we also had one of our most feirce battles there we had to learn the terrain in order to fight.
Tai: So how do we do this?
Glen: We cut through the small fry and I'll handle Cheris.
Glen pointed his D-3 at Talonmon.
Talonmon warp digivolve to ShiningDosamon.
Agumon, Gabumon DNA digivolve to Omnimon.
Biyomon warp digivolve to Phoenixmon.
Patamon Warp digivolve to Seraphimon.
Veemon, Wormon DNA digivolve to ImperialDramon.
Gatomon warp digivolve to Ophanimon.
Armadillomon armor digivolve to Digmon.

With all of their Digimon ready they sped off to the fight waiting for them. Cheris stood at the base of the mountain waiting for the time to pass.
Cheris: Still an hour and a half left.
Vasarimon: Looks like we have an audience coming.
Cheris: Fine then keep them occupied buy as much time as you can.
Vasrimon: How?
Cheris: Well you have an army of digimon figure it out .
Vasarimon: Yes mi'lady.
Vasarimon swung around and walked in the direction that the chosen were coming. He snapped his fingers causing the digimon to follow him as he looked at his fast approaching opponents.
Glen: Vasarimon.
Glen jumped from the back of Seraphimon and Kari jumped behind him and quickly followed him.
Vasarimon: Fetch.
With that word literally hundreds of Digimon decended the mountain torwards them.
Glen: Kari formation 12.
Kari: Got it.
Before the other chosen could catch up all they saw Kari's whole body light up.
Tai: What the?
Yolie: Wait up.
Yolie jumped down and ran after Glen and Kari. As Kari ran she grabbed Glen's hand and he launched her into the air over the digimon.
Matt: Oh my god.
TK: What did you do?
Glen: Watch.
Everyone looked up torward Kari and she was covered in light.
Kari: Light Missiles.
The light around Kari formed scicles and pulmeted down at the digimon impaling most of them taking out more than twenty. After the attack Kari flipped back to the ground and landed on her feet.
[Real world]
Talia: Glen? Oh my god! He's ok
[Japan]
Mr. Kamiya: Hell yeah Kari. That's my girl.
[Digiworld]
Tai: How? Kari I thought you could only use that on your body.
Kari: Glen thought me.
Suddenly a Digimon came at her from behind. Kari was going to take it out but, a sheild appeared around the digimon and the sheild dragged it back and launched it into the crowd.
Kari: Wha?
Yolie: Glen thought me how to perfect mine, too.
Yolie noticed out of the corner of her eye that the crowd was rushing at them. Yolie turned to Glen and he gave her a smile. She turned back to the crowd and set up a giant sheild around the digimon and after a short sprint to the sheild she placed her hand on it and it shattered inward like a glass room as the shards of the sheild came down splitting the digimon into pieces. while Vasarimon dodged the pieces and fell back to get reinforcments.
Yolie: Yes.
Glen: Good job girls.
Kari/Yolie: Thanks.
Ken: Have you ever felt so useless in your life?
Matt: No.
Tai: Nah ah.
TK: Not a chance.
Cody: How did you guys do that?
Glen: Well the crests have 3 stages. stage 1: allows your digimon to digvolve into the ultimate level. Stage2: Allows you to control a little of it's power.And stage 3: allows you to unlock the full power of your crest.
Davis: What then why did you only train the girls are you trying to make Glen's Angels or, something?
The girls blushed at the accusation.
Glen: No, I was already training Kari. And Yolie did something none of you guys did.
Everyone[even the digimon]: What?
Glen: She asked.
everybody scratched the back of their heads thinking "oh right" as Glen turned pulling his sword from his back and pointed it at the approaching digimon.
Glen: Thunder.
After he shouted that the sword emitted a sonic boom blasting back the enemies coming at him.
Glen: let's go.
He said as he led the charge into the heart of the crowd. The digimon ran torward the Chosen only to be knocked back like baseballs by Zudamon who was swinging wildly into the crowd. The people of earth recognized the Digimon but, were stumped by the armored wolf and sword weilding boy but, for some reason they felt that he was stronger than the others. They were right, Glen slashed the leg of a digimon right onto the horn of Aquillomon. Then Aquillomon jumped straight through Scorpiomon and flew into the air then he looked down at Glen and ShiningDosamon running through the crowd ripping everyone in their way. Vasarimon jumped into the crowd and slashed at Glen but, he leaned back and dodged then he flip kicked at Vasarimon but, Vasarimon spun out of the way and landed on the back a Cerubimon. ShiningDosamon jumped at him.
SDM: Tempest. [Done like Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia]
As he spun with both sword out to each side he ripped through the head of Cerubimon and chased after the fleeing Vasarimon.
Omnimon: Trancendant sword.
Omnimon slashed through a Mammothmon and sent a wave of energy at the digimon crowd and then backed out of the way for the blast ImperialDramon sent at the enemies clearing a line through the digimon Phoenixmon entered the opening and Spread it's wings unleashing an inferno killing the digimon on each side. Then she turned to the other side to see that more were coming.
Phoenixmon: There's no end to it.
Ophanimon: We'll handle it.
Opahnimon/Seraphimon: Angel's Halo!
A golden halo stretched over the digimon and split them in half by closing. At that monent Digmon came from the ground and stabbed through a muramon and spun back launching his drills into a Drimogimon.
Liliymon: Flower necklace.
She said as she dropped flowers around the necks of the digimon that were coming at her and they left the battlefield.
Lilymon: Good boys.
She turned to see Glen standing at the edge of a cliff looking down.
Lilymon: Are you ok?
Glen didn't answer he just looked at her and then turned back to the thing he was staring at Lilymon went to his side and looked down. Cheris was looking up at Spiral mountain waiting for the hour of twilight to come only an hour remained.
Lilymon: There she is. I'll go get the others.
Before she could turn Glen grabbed her arm and pulled her back and stared in her eyes. After a while Lilymon blushed at him.
Lilymon: Glen?
Glen: I want you to keep everyone here for me ok.
Lilymon: What!?
Her blush disappeared after hearing that.
Glen: I want to do this alone. Please.
Lilymon looked at him for a moment thinking before she finally nodded after a hug and a thank you he left Lilymon there blushing at him as he ran away.
Glen: CHERIS!!!!
She turned to him after he shouted the other chosen turned to his voice they had defeated the digimon. Three digimon still protected Cheris. Glen dodged a punch from a Giantmon attack and he jumped up it's arm and ran to it's shoulder he slashed it's shoulder blade and slashed back lopping off it's head and as he jumped from it. As he came down he cut a DarkTyrannomon in half and when he hit the ground he punched off the head of a puppetmon as he continued running at Cheris. The other chosen ran to the cliff but, Lilymon cut them off.
Omnimon: What are you doing?
Lilymon: He asked me not to let you pass and I won't.
Tai: Lilymon we have to...
Kari pushed to the side and looked down at Glen who was fast approaching Cheris.
Kari: He wants us out of the way. He's been planning this from the beginning.
TK: What? So he's gonna fight her?
Kari: Yeah. If he has to. He doesn't want us to get hurt in the battle. Besides it's not like she can beat Sensei. Just cheer him on we're spectators now.
Glen finally caught up to Cheris and she turned to face him.
Cheris: So you came huh?
Glen: Cheris this has to stop now. What will you gain out of destroying the worlds?
Cheris: Fulfillment.
Glen: What?
Cheris: I think you know. It's nothing worse than having a goal you can never reach, you know.
Glen: If you do that everyone will die.
The people of earth began to watch closer at the sky.
Cheris: What do you care? Do you remember how you were treated when you were younger?
Glen: Yeah I do.
Cheris: The loneliness, the anger, the fear, the pain.
Glen: Yeah I do.
Everyone on the cliff were taken back by what they heard. It showed them how little they really knew about Glen.
Cheris: Haven't you ever wish they would just die?
Glen: Yeah I have but, problems that small can't be considered problems. I'll never bitch about my problems when there are people out there that have it worse than me. I'm not that selfish.
Cheris: Glen you are too simple.
Glen: Cheris you don't have to do this.
Cheris: Yes I do.
Glen: Cheris this is insane. I won't let you do this.
Cheris: WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?
Glen: The person who's trying to save you.
Cheris: I don't FUCKING need to be saved.
Cheris started storming at Glen until they stood face-to-face.
Cheris: So are you going to stop me? Then fight me.
Glen: No.
Cheris: Fight or I'll kill you.
Glen: No.
Cheris: Fine.
Cheris leaned in and kissed Glen, he accepted the kiss and looked at her as she backed off and pulled her dagger. She thrusted it at Glen. Everyone on the cliff and on earth jumped as the dagger neared but, suddenly it stopped. Glen grabbed Cheris' arm.
Glen: Did you think I would fall for same trick twice?
He threw her hand to the side and caused her to drop the dagger. She looked down at the dagger and without turning her head she looked at him out of the corner of her eye.
Cheris: No, I wanted you to fall for this.

She swung her right hand around at Glen and in mid swing her arm accellerated at incredible speeds and punched Glen. Glen leaned to the side and blood spewed from his mouth, then she turned and swung her left the same way and punched Glen again he leaned to the other side when he did she kicked him in the chest and when he stumbled back she jumped into a scythe kick to his stomache. Glen went rolling back across the ground until she popped up the ground in behind him when he hit it he stood up with his back against it and his eyes shot open as Cheris ran at him. She opened her palm and thrusted it into Glen's stomache sending him flying through the wall she had made for him and he slid along the ground until he came to a stop on the ground.
Ken: Cheris can take Glen!?
TK: How can she be so strong.
Kari: She's not.
Tai: What do you mean?
Kari: She's using the crest of life to make the air accelerate her body so that her hits have more punch. A trick she never used on me. She almost killed me and she was toying around.
Kari clenched her fist as she looked on at the fight.
Cheris: Glen you think I need to be protected? Do you think need you?
As Glen laid on the ground she jumped with both knees out and she landed on his stomache and Glen coughed up blood and as soon as he did she latched her hand around his neck and began to squeeze
Cheris: Fight back or I'll kill you. Then I'll kill them.
Glen's eyes shot open and he grabbed her arm pulled it off and held her arm tightly.
Glen: You want me to fight back. FINE MUSCLE EXPANSION.
Glen's right arm buffed up to the size of a couch and everyone looked on in shock even Kari didn't know about that.
Glen: Scared? this is my third stage. Maybe I can beat some sense into you.
Cheris tried hard to free her arm but, Glen's grip was too tight he pulled his arm back and punched her in the stomache so hard her body split in two. Glen threw her upper half to the ground and stared back at her. The people in the real world were shocked at his bloodlust but, the chosen knew better.
Glen: How long are you going to stay down there?
Cheris' eyes looked down at Glen and then her body reattached. Once again the people of earth were shocked. Even after she restored herself she could still feel the pain. When she looked up Glen he had spun around and punched her in the face so hard she flew back through a mountain and when she tried to stop herself she flew into another one and rolled to the ground when she looked up again Glen was standing at the side of her.
Cheris: How did you?
Glen: Yeah, fast wasn't it?
He reached down and grabbed her by the neck, spun around and launched her into the tip of a cliff. Her body broke through the cliff and kept going.
Glen: Muscle expansion.
this time his legs buffed up and he jumped all the way up to where Cheris was flying and grabbed her leg.
Cheris: Wha?
Glen: Windmill.
Glen started to spin while holding Cheris' leg and when they reached the ground he slammed her face first into the ground but, didn't stop he spun her face into the ground rapidly. Until finally he threw her into the wall of a cliff. Cheris laid in the mark her back made for a minute before she finally came out and stood staring at Glen.
Cheris: Let's do this then.
Glen: As you wish.
Cheris and Glen both did hands signs at each other.
Cheris: Clone Jutsu.
Cheris: Clone Jutsu.
They both made two clones and charged at each other.
[Real world]
Kakashi: So that is the same Glen.
Jiraya: He's grown alot.
Kakashi: This should be an interesting fight.
Tsunade: Yes it should but, Kurenai sheild it from the rest of the village. It might cause a panic and we don't want that.
Kurenai: Yes Hokage sama.
Kurenai did hand signs and put a powerful Genjutsu over the village to hide the image in the sky but, those in that room could see clearly through the illusion. Similar acts were done in all of the hidden villages but, one person kept a close eye on the fight..
[Digital world]
One of Glen's clones flipped back at him and and landed both of his feet in Glen's hand. After and short sprint he launched the clone at Cheris. The clone turned and spun sideways knocking out Cheris' two clones but, the real one crushed Glen's clone with a rock and then she hopped on it and flew at Glen. Cheris hovered over Glen and smashed him with the rock and then she did smoke came from under it.
Cheris: What?
Glen: Muscle expansion.
Cheris looked up to see Glen coming down at her with both arms locked looking about the size of car. When he came down he sent an axe handle smash down to her head. When it hit she fell through the rock she was on and sent her plummeting through the ground. Glen stood a good distance away from the hole not giving her the chance to hit him suddenly he was hit by a blast of wind and he was sent flying and when he was in the air the wind changed direction and slammed on the cliff where the others were. They rushed over to him.
Cody: Glen are you ok?
Lilymon: Can you stand?
Glen sat up to one knee and gave Cody a look. Cody recognized it from their training it meant to move as quick as he could. Cody teleported back to the others and Glen cradled Lilymon and jumped into the air and the second he did Cheris turned the floor to spikes and emerged from the ground. Kari stayed her distance she knew Glen would get mad if she interfered. She looked at Cheris who was doing hand signs.
Cheris: Phoenix Jutsu.
Cheris' body caught fire and she launched herself into the air at Glen. Glen let go of Lilymon and took the full force of the hit. She flew up and hit Glen in the face and then she spun around and came back hitting him again and repeated over and over again until finally she rose over him and flew down at full speed and slammed him into the ground and sent her fire straight to him burning him.
Glen: AAAGGARAHAHARAHH.
Cheris held him down by his arms then Glen headbutted her off of him and then he punched her as he got up. When she stumbled back he did a sideways spin kick to her face sending her flying back through the group of chosen. As she flew she looked at Kari then looked over to Glen as he ran at her. She flipped to her feet and landed on the ground and started hopping back away from him until finally she jumped back from the cliff without turning from Glen. He axe kicked her in the shoulder and broke it. Then he moved in behind her and punched her in the back and dragged her on his fist until he reached the ground then he flipped back to gain distance. When she finally stood up she turned to him and wiped the blood from her mouth. Glen began to do hand signs and then he placed his hand on the ground.
Glen: Earth staff Jutsu.
he pulled a staff from the ground and held it up. Cheris smiled at Glen and stomped the ground creating her own staff and it came up to her hand after she stepped on it. Then she lifted it spun it around and placed it her shoulders and held it with both arms after that she pushed her hips to the side and turned her head smiling halfway at Glen. Making a very sexy pose even the chosen boys had to admit she was crazy but, she was HOT!.
Boys: DAMN!

5[Digital world]
The boys quickly shook their minds out of the gutter and got their attention back on the fight.
Cheris: Hehe, Remember this pose used to drive you crazy.
Glen: Truthfully it still does.
Cheris: You're still as sweet as always, Heartstopper.
Glen: I don't want to fight Cheris.
Cheris: Sorry, but we have goals that collide with each other. I want to kill everything, you wanna live so we don't have a choice. Prepare yourself.
Glen: Fine.
Glen swung his staff sideways and Cheris ducked under it and swung her body to the side and spun her staff around torwards Glen as she came up he spun out of the way and swung his staff at her feet she hopped over it. Cheris trusted her staff at his head in the same motion and spun in mid-air spining the staff down at Glen and hit him with both attacks. Glen rolled back after the hit and caught himself with the staff and began doing hand seals.
Glen: Staff break Jutsu.
Cheris: Huh?
Glen spun around and swung his staff at Cheris and she back out of the way but, when she did the top of the staff broke off and flew into her face knocking her back. Cheris spun off her feet after the hit but, when she looked back the part of the staff was coming back. It came back and hit her in the face and she swung around to Glen seeing a fuzzy view of him swinging the other half at her when it hit her she span around just to be hit by the other piece. The Staff pieces continued to hit her rapidly until they both stopped on opposite sides of her spinning at her and after a short wait they closed in and spun on her like propellers on each side until they vanished. When they did Glen ran to Cheris and punched but, she moved out of the way punched him twice in the stomache, elbowed him in the chest, and uppercutted him. After he popped in the air she flip kicked him in chin sending him flipping backwards. While he was in the air she brought the ground to life and a pillar rose and hit Glen higher into the air. Then she did it again and he popped up higher when he did she sent another pillar at him but, he spun around and dodged it looking down at the 40 foot drop waiting on him but, on his descent Cheris sent another pillar at him. Glen looked at the surroundings he had to think fast. He noticed that the previous pillar was close to a cliff he was between two walls. So as the new pillar was coming at him he jumped back between the previous pillar and the cliff quickly to get back up to top before he got hit. He was successful. He jumped up higher and spun down at the pillar and punched down his fist went through it until he finally reached the bottom. When he did he buffed up his leg and kicked the pillar in front of him sending a chunk of it flying at Cheris. When it got close enough she leaned back under it and grabbed the bottom of it as it flew then she flipped herself onto it.
Cheris: GLEN!!!
He answered her call as he jumped on the rock and punched her in the face. She flipped off the rock as it flew back and she grabbed in the bottom once again and swung herself back up kicking Glen in the back. He fell off and turned around punching the rock crushing it sending Cheris flying forward as he dropped to the ground they had a lot of distance between them. Glen started doing hand signs. After he took out a Kunai and threw it into the air but, suddenly it started to come down and it was over 500 kunai coming at Cheris.
Glen: Kunai rain jutsu.
Cheris dodged the kunai as if she was dancing out of the way when they all landed she had dodged every one but, the kunai had paper attached to them.
Cheris: Exploding tags!?
Xheris quickly flipped out of the way as they exploded and looked on at Glen who was doing more seals.
Glen: Flying earth dragons.
The ground began to shake underneath their feet and on each side of Glen two serpent shaped rock dragons about fifty feet tall and forty feet wide started to snake through the ground on it's way torwards Cheris.
Cheris: Oh no.
She kneeled down and copied Glen's seals calling forth her own set of Dragons and as they moved along the ground they collided with each other. Cheris smiled as the dragons disappeared but, was shocked that the ground under her shook once again.
Cheris: He used it twice!?
One of the pair caught Cheris and dragged her into the air scattering on impact. The dragon fell apart after it took her 75 feet into the air and the second dragon came for her she used the wind to split it down the middle as she came down she saw that Glen was once again doing hand signs.
Glen: Time for my specaility. Nores style ninja art: Aura clone Jutsu!
Glen made three blue replicas of himself. The Nores family speciality was the control over auras but, only Glen had mastered every aura jutsu. No one outside the bloodline could use it. [So you can kind of say it was his bloodline limit]. The clones flew torward Cheris who was using the wind to keep herself airborne. Cheris didn't know what to do she didn't even know what he had done. When the first Clone attacked she moved out of the way but, the clone spun around and kicked her in the stomache exploding on impact she flipped back only to be caught by another clone and blown up when she began to roll on her descent a clone uppercutted her blowing her up again. Cheris flew higher and higher but, when she opened her eyes Glen was jumping up to her she thrusted both arms at him and the wind blasted Glen back to the ground he flipped as the wind blew him and he landed on his feet. the impact caused the ground to cave in and she continued to push the wind on him making the crater deeper. From the pressure his arm got dislocated and soon the pressure would crush him.
Glen: DAMMIT.
Glen placed both hands on the ground and he pushed them both back into place and stood doing hand signs.
Glen: Nores style ninja art: Aura control jutsu.
Glen's aura went wild and suddenly it focused into his fist. Glen looked up and punched three times and his aura went up in the form of a giant fist. The first punched her hard causing her to flip the second punched her and dragged her upward until it vanished and the third fist opened and grabbed her and after Glen thrusted his arm to the side gesturing for the aura to move he threw her into the wall of a cliff. She sat there until she noticed that Glen had jumped into the air he punched twice and did a spin kick that form a slash. The fist punched her all the way through the cliff and she came out of the other side the second punch hit her in the face making her spin and the slash cut her in half. She pulled her self together right before she hit the ground now too tired to fight. Glen walked up to her as she struggled to her feet. Glen was doing hand sign as he walked and she could barely move even with the ability to heal herself. Glen burst out running at Cheris and he grabbed her neck not squeezing just holding.
Glen: God's seal jutsu.
Suddenly Cheris' eyes shot open and she screamed loudly.
Tai: What is that move?
Kari: I don't know.
Cheris: AAAARAAGGGGHHHHHH
Glen: Just a little longer.
Mean while ShiningDosamon and Vasarimon were fighting. the sound of digizoid metal could be heard miles away. Vasarimon was trying to catch SDM but, he was to strong he swung down his two blades and knocked Vasarimon to the ground and while he looked down at him he began to spin.
ShiningDosamon: Shining sword twister.
SDM spun around ripping through Vasarimon and after the final hit he knocked Vasarimon off the cliff he fell into a pit.
Vasarimon: AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH.
ShiningDosamon: good ridance.
SDM looked over torwards the battle with Cheris and saw what was happening.
ShiningDosamon: Boss!!!
He burst out running past the chosen who started following.
Cody: What is that move?
ShiningDosamon: It's a move used to seal the power of the enemy. But, only for short time. He's trying to seal her crest until the hour of twilght is over.
Sora: So you say that he's trying to save her.
ShinungDosamon: Yeah, but it'll drain all of his energy.
He said as he quickly made his way over to them. Glen removed his hand and looked on at Cheris who was breathing heavily.
Cheris: Too soft.
Glen: What?
Cheris: YOU'RE TOO SOFT!!!!!
She screamed as she hit him back with the wind and popped up the ground to raise her up on top of spiral mountain. The hour of twilight had began. As she landed on her perch she unleashed the full power of her crest. The ground began to shake feircly the wind blew uncontrollably and the affects were also reaching the real world.
ShiningDosamon: Boss we have to get up there only you can stop her.
Glen: ShiningDosamon I can't.
ShiningDosamon: Well if you don't everyone and everything will die here. You can do this.
Glen looked up at ShiningDosamon and nodded he started to climb the mountain. As SDM approached the mountain he felt something and when he turned Vasarimon stabbed into his chest and twisted the dagger. SDM thrusted both of his swords into Vasarimon and held him there as Glen and all of the others just looked on.
Glen: ShiningDosamon!!!
ShiningDosamon: This is it for me, you go on don't worry I'll be back soon but only if you can do what you have to do..
Vasarimon: Let me go!!
ShiningDosamon: Not a chance I don't think Cheris can heal you if she's up there. So I guess the party's over for you too. Hey Boss I know it's hard but, there is no return for her all you can do now is save her from herself, so do it before it's too late. good bye for now, Glen.
Glen: You called me....
ShiningDosamon: Shining explosion.
After that he blew himself and Vasarimon into pieces Glen looked at the sight and tried his best to fight back tears as he climbed up the mountain. The other chosen were mourning over the loss of their comrade but, kept watch over Glen the world could end if he didn't do some thing. Glen was out of energy but, now he had a new determination. He climbed to the top and looked at Cheris who had lost control of her self. He fought against the wind that was blowing him back. He walked all the way to Cheris while thoughts of the time they spent together flashed through his mind. He pulled his sword and stood in front of her and thrusted his sword into her chest with his strength he pushed it all the way through her chest and before the hole could heal he stuck his hand inside and grabbed her heart. The quakes stopped and she looked at Glen as he squoze. she gasped and cried from the pain. Glen had to use all of his strength the crest of life had a barrier around her heart and it was like a normal person trying to crush a rock. She coughed up blood and screamed out causing him to momentalily weaken his grip many times. It took 4 minutes for him to break the barrier and with a final squeeze it was done she fell out and Glen caught her. The other chosen had caught up and looked down on Glen who was holding Cheris who was still alive at the moment until the crest of life offically lost it's power. Glen looked at her as the crest of life came off of her and went to his right hand. It burned when it first came on him but, soon subsided.
Cheris: I guess it's yours now, Heartstopper you win.
Glen: Quit the act!
Cheris: Huh, what do you?
Glen: I'm not stupid Cheris.
Cheris closed her eyes and smiled.
Cheris: How long have you known?
Chosen: What?
Glen: You're not a good actor you never wanted to win.
All of the chosen were confused at this point.
Cheris: What gave it away?
Glen: My first clue was when you stabbed me. I thought why would you stab me in the stomache if you wanted me dead especailly if I was the only one who could stop you.
All of the chosen were shocked how they never thought about that.
Glen: The second was when you fought Kari. You smiled at me, a real smile I kept thinking what would make you smile like that so I replayed that night over and over and it hit me. You smiled after I cut off your hand. You were happy that would actually fight back, it was what you were hoping for. The third was that when you possessed people no matter what we did to them they got back up. You were healing them you didn't want them to actually get hurt. I wondered why would you heal pawns. But, the biggest clue was after I went to the hospital I healed faster then I normally did I was perplexed until Kari told me that the window was open the day I woke up and she didn't know who did it. It was you wasn't it?
Everyone's eyes shot wide open as they waited for the answer.
Cheris: Yeah. it was. I only healed you enough that you wouldn't hurt. When I fought Kari I didn't expect for you to heal her.
Glen: You didn't kill my grandfather either did you?
Cheris: No, but I was there when it happened I felt so bad that I couldn't stop him. I knew that you wouldn't kill me if I was innocent so I said it so you wouldn't hold back when the time came. I had no choice my destiny was to do this and your destiny was to stop me. So I came up with the plan to cause a disturbance that those chosen would find and lure them together with you. That way you would not be alone. You see the only way for me to be saved from my destiny was for ou to fulfill yours.
Glen: Cheris no one is tied down by destiny.
Vheris: Was it your will to become a chosen we all have destinys that we must obey and that is the way of the world.
Glen: You're wrong.
Cheris: Huh?
Glen: It's true that I didn't have a choice in whether I was chosen or not but it was my choice to stay one. After we came back I could thrown my D-3 away and left but, I stayed a chosen because my heart said it was the right thing to do. It's also true that everyone is born with a path laid out for them. But, it is solely up to that person whether they walk that path or pave one for themself.
Cheris' eyes teared up at his words.
Cheris: I just wish I could have talked to you before. I'm sorry. I didn't want to hurt any of your friends, wait, I'm lying.
Cheris turned her head to Kari.
Cheris: Kari, I hate you, not because you did anything to me but, because I was a fool. I let myself be tricked into thinking the way I did and I had to be away from him. Then suddenly there you were laughing, talking, sharing stories. You were where I wanted to be, I felt replaced. Jealousy truly is a weak emotion. I'm sorry.
Cheris turned back to Glen and put her hand on his face.
Cheris: I lo...ve..you..Gl...en.
She said right before her hands fell and he eyes closed. Cheris was dead. Glen looked down tears filling his eyes but, he wouldn't let them fall. He looked at his left hand where the crest of life was and he tried hiis best to use it he even pounded his hand. Until finally he faced reality, it was over he sat there looking at nothing for quite a while.
[Gennai: I'm so sorry.]
He thought as he cut off the monitor to the real world. While people were confused on how exactly to take what just happened.
Tsunade: Such a shame.
Kakashi: I hate that it had to end like this.
Tsunade: Remove the genjutsu.
When the monitor vanished the genjutsu on all the hidden villages disappeared, they would have to think of a way to explain the earthquakes later.
[Digital world]
As Glen sat there the chosen were wondering what to do. Tai being the only one with the courage to do anythng walked over to Glen and placed his hand on his shoulder. Glen looked at him and smiled a very empty smile. Some of the group members even started to cry when saw him like that. The smile was so shallow in fact that he couldn't hold it long he looked down at Cheris and picked her up walked to a good patch of ground sat her down then he punched ground creating a hole. He picked Cheris back up jumped in the hole and laid her down and crossed her arms. He jumped out of the hole and bent over scooped a hand full of dirt and tossed it into the hole. This proved to be too much for him to handle tears erupted from his eyes and he looked up to the sky as the tears flowed. It hurt, it hurt alot. Finally he felt hands on his shoulders he looked over to see Kari with tears falling down her face and on the other was TK . TK leaned over and picked up some dirt and threw it in the hole then looked at Glen with a look that said " this is ok right?" Glen just smiled and continued to fill the hole Kari started helping as well. The other chosen walked over and helped. After the hole was full he looked over to Palmon and Gatomon who held a cross that they stuck at the head of the grave. Everyone stood in front of and bowed their heads.
Glen: Can someone say something?
Davis stepped up [more like pushed up] and he cleared his throat
Davis: Uh, Here lies Cheris. I guess she wasn't so crazy after all.
TK: Dammit Davis.
Kari: You are such an asshole.
Glen: Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
Everyone smiled at Glen it was refreshing to hear him laugh. Finally Davis continued.
Davis: I believe that if things didn't go the way they did you and Glen would be one of us. I thank you for giving us one of the best friends we ever made. Rest in Peace.
After a moment of silence they left for home.
Kari: What do you mean?
Izzy: You've gotta be kidding.
Yolie: You you can't.
Glen: Yeah after Talonmon comes back I'm going back home. I mean I haven't seen my mother in two whole years. I have to go back.
Mr. Kamiya: It'll be boring here without you.
Glen: I'll come back you guys. Stop acting like I'm leaving for good.
Cody: It's just that after the time you've been here it kind of feels like you've always been here. it's just hard to see you go.
Glen: Yeah I feel the same way.
Tai: Then why don't we make the best of the time have.
The chosen had enjoyed the time they had days of basketball, car races, football games, soccer games, concerts, and nights of romance. But, Kari woke up every night to find Glen on the banister outside staring up torwards the moon. He hadn't slept at all since the battle. Kari walked up to him but, turned back because she didn't know what to say but before she could go Glen pulled her to him and held her close. She didn't move not even a little she just melted into his arms and relaxed on his shoulder. It had been a week since the battle and as everyone was deep in conversation Glen's D-3 began to beep he looked at it and smiled as well as the others even though they knew that this would mean he has to leave now.
[A few minutes later in the digital world]
In primary village.
Clawmon: Com'n Duresmon keep up.
Duresmon: Oh yeah, I'll catch you in a minute just hold on.
The baby digimon ran around playing tag and as Duresmon caught up to Clawmon he jumped and landed on something.

Clawmon: Boss!!!
Glen: So you went back to calling me boss huh?
TK: Electmon how are you?
Electmon: Just fine. I saw everything that happened, I'm just sorry that I wasn't there to help you guys.
TK: We were ok Electmon besides if something happened to you who would watch the babies?
Electmon: Good point. Hey Patamon you reconsider taking over the village for me?
Patamon: Maybe someday old man.
Duresmon: See ya Clawmon.
Clawmon: Yeah see you later Duresmon.
Glen: Who is that?
Clawmon: Vasarimon's baby form.
Glen had a shocked expression as he looked down at the smiling digimon thinking about how Vasarimon was. It couldn't be him could it? Glen turned and walked away with all of the other chosen following in behind him not knowing what to say. They definitely wanted to say some thing they just didn't know how to word it before they knew it they were standing in front of the american digiport with Glen facing it holding Clawmon. without turning he spoke.
Glen: This has been one wild ride, eh guys?
Tai: It sure has.
Glen: This is just what it means to have in adventure some day it has to end.
Davis: Yeah but, we'll have to make sure to go on more Glen.
Glen: Yeah, I'll be back and we'll do alot of fun things maybe you can even meet my mom.
Sora: We'd like that.
Glen: Maybe even hang out in my house.
Cody: Yeah then we can train in your Dojo and I can jack up your house.
Glen: Yeah right. I think that's impossible.
Matt: You've shown us that nothing is impossible man I mean jumping on cars making rock dragons. Man that was cool.

Kari had looked around trying not to think about the fact that Glen was leaving. He had only been there two months and half and he had already become a crucial part of their life especially hers. She didn't want him to go but, she didn't want to say that she didn't want to be that selfish.

Kari: Take care yourself and please come back to us. You still have plenty of things to tell me about.

Glen turned back to the digiport and waited as the others began to walk off.

I have traveled through it for a while. But I know now that as long as you have Courage you will make it through and find people who will offer Friendship and Kindness to help you.
