Before I start this chapter thanks for reading my story so far, I hope many more people will enjoy it, and if anyone can, please e-mail me if you have any requests for the story like characters you would like to see or something like that, or if you see any things that can be improved tell me. ok now you probably are bored with my babbling so here is chapter 3 of my story

Zartos flew through the city, using a strange ability to fuse himself with summon or other materia, he landed just outside the city and stood silently for a few seconds, fortunately the guards were all going toward Shrina tower and nobody thought twice about the dragonlike form flying overhead. Zartos transformed back to his human form and ripped off his ninja mask, it revealed a handsome face, obscured by dark spiky hair and a headband with the Konoa leaf embleazoned on it, he smirked and pulled out the same device he had used as a map a few minutes ago, he then pressed a combination of buttons. the device then began to emit a ringing sound. Miles away in a large forest clearing, a pair of ninja were arguing furiously, the first one, a teenage boy with blonde, spiky hair and a orange jumpsuit seemed very peeved and was shouting loudly at the second ninja. The second ninja, a kuronchi (I think that is how it is spelled.) with short dark hair and a more traditional garb on, but with an enormous shuriken at her side, she looked more annooyed than angry though.

" I know you did it Yuffie, fess up!" The boy said with an angry expression on his face.

" Naruto, you moron, why would I want your stupid headband." Yuffie said, frowning and pointing to her own, with the same leaf symbol as his," I have my own, and plus it is in much better condition than yours anyway, maybe Zartos took it or something."

Naruto was already beyond rational thought though, he quickly did his signature ninjitsu technique, the shadow doppleganger, and created at least fifty clones of himself.

"Now, give me the headband or else I will be forced to take drastic measures." Naruto said darkly, using his clones to surround Yuffie, just as Naruto prepared to strike painful and possibly letal blows, a nearby ringing sound changed Narutos center of attention.

" A customer!" Naruto shouted, forgetting he was raging mad just a second ago. Yuffie sighed and began to walk toward the small stump where the ringing device, identical to the one Zartos had, lay. But before Yuffie could pick it up Naruto rushed to the phone(?) and picked it up.

"Uzamaki ninja mercenaries at your service!" Naruto said proudly into the screen, but then looked at the screen and saw it was Zartos looking throughly annoyed. "Oh, sorry sensei." the chunnin said, though holding back a snicker at how silly Zartos looked when he was angry.

Zartos sighed, he wouldnt have even put up with that imbeicle if it wasnt decreed by lord Hokage, two years ago Naruto was a chunnin under the tutorage of the genin Kakashi, but Naruto had wished for a more better master and had asked the Hokage Anko for a better, less perverted master, Anko was skeptic at first, but decided to put him in one of the mercenary groups far away from the village, she reasoned that the farther the demon possessed troublemaker was, the better, so Anko sent Naruto a very far distance away, to area near Midgar where a young ninja stayed as a mercenary. Zartos would have killed the boy within a week if he wasnt his student, but after Naruto got tired of pranking Zartos,( the Ninja Centerfold was the most annoying,) he proved to be a very powerful, if not stubborn and a bit boneheaded, shinobi.

Yuffie was a hassle too, but not as much, after the Metros incident in which Yuffie helped save the world, her group went their seperate ways (to an extent), with nowhere to go, Yuffie went to her own village, Wutai, which was a small extension of Konoa village (being the largest shinobi village, it needed an expansion so Wutai was the only ninja school in the country.) Zartos had heard of her and decided to train her( she still was weak because she was rarely fighting during the Metros incident.)the Shogun of Wutai ( different goverment system) who was Yuffies father, agreed she needed training and sent her with Zartos to train with Naruto.

Zartos then looked at Naruto through the video screen, who was steamed a bit at how long it took his sensei to answer. "Oh, um, the missionn is complete, call the contact and tell him we have the materia, I will be back at home base in a couple hours." Zartos said, holding up the breifcase for emphasis.

Naruto grumbled a bit before saying,"Yes Sensei," Naruto wanted to go on the mission but Zartos had said that it was too dangerous for Naruto and Yuffie.Of course Naruto had protested but Zartos had promised a special trip after since the mission was a personal one and he was going to get a large sum of cash for it. Zartos hung up the phone and started his short trip to the base.
