How it all started

*Dream*

Fifteen years ago, there was an incident similar to the attack Kyuubi no Youko or Kyuubi no Kitsune as some would call her. This one was made by another fox as well, this attacker was know as Kyuubi no Kage a nine-tailed shadow fox who was just as strong if not more powerful the Kyuubi no Youko.It killed many and seemed like it was in a state of grief but manywere indifferent. They believed that demos had no emotions to speak of. Ignoring the feeling, the Nidaime took it upon himself to seal the “beast” in body of the only female heir to the Uchiha's main branch, Kagome Uchiha.

****************************3 months later*******************************

Kagome is in her 3-year old brother Itachi's arms. They were playing in the living room. The only room in the house where you had access to every room as well as the exits so it was quite safe. There was the sudden crash of glass and the distinct sound of their parents arguing.`I wonder what that was.'He set Kagome down on a blanket and he was about to check it out when he heard the back door slam. Followed by their okaa-san running towards her room with tears running down her face. He looked back at Kagome to see that she was not affected at all. He ran outside to check on their Otou-san he never really liked being their okaa-san. Most of the time she was too perky and it really freaked him out.

Kagome on the other had is very sensitive to emotion distress especially. Cause of this for the first time she slowly got up and after a few tries she crawled the best she could towards her okaa-san's room. When she reached there, the door was wide open so she crawled right in and onto her okaa-san's lap who happened to be on the floor. Seeing as her mother was too busy crying Kagome started making any noise she could to get her mother's attention. When her mother noticed, her she was quite surprised. `Sugoi little one you truly have a kind heart even for someone so little.'Kagome started to reach for “…Okaa...”`What did she say?'“…Okaa-san…”Mikoto smiled at her little tenshi.`Her first words are my very name. I'm so proud of her.'The fact that she crawled for the first time and that she had to go through a lot of trouble to get her mother's attention made said tenshi sleepy.

This was the song she always sang to Kagome to get her to go to sleep. Noticing her little tenshi was fast asleep, she got up and put her in her crib. `Thank you little one for making me feel much better.'

*End Dream*

Kagome woke up with a start. `I feel like I should remember something, anything at all. However, every time I wake up my mind goes blank. It feels like I need some sort of trigger. Come to think about it that was the fifth time this week that that had happened.'

When she came to her senses, she smelled the fresh scent of grilled fish cooking.

“*Yawn* Morning minna-san”

“Good morning Kagome-chan”

`It was Sango her nee-san. If you knew Inuyasha well you knew that as soon as the camp was cleaned up you'd expect a…'

“Let's go we don't have all dayya know.”

`Right on cue.'

It was a typical shard-hunting day for the inu-gumi. They hunted for shards ran into a few weak demons here and there. Kagome and Shippo stood on the side, letting Miroku, Sango or Inuyasha take care of it. But lately Kagome has had the itch to join the fight, even though she couldn't fight. Only the last statement felt like she was lying to herself.

“Inuyasha let's stop and rest it's almost past sunset.”

“Feh whatever wench”.

Sango decided to offer to bathe with Kagome before somebody got hurt. `If Inuyasha does not shut up soon he will have Kagome and myself to deal with. I refuse to have anyone talk to my little sister that way.'

“Kagome-chan would you like to go tothe hot spring with me.”

“Huh…sure Sango-chan”

As they walked to the hot spring Kagome had the distinct feeling they someone was watching them.

“Umm…Sango-chan”

“Yes Kagome-chan”

“Lately I have been having these weird dreams like I'm supposed to remember something.”

“You did say you can't remember anything two weeks before your birthday.”

“Yes, but it seems like my memories have been sealed because usually you can only remember your name but I remember a lot more that just that.”

*Dream*

***************************nine years earlier******************************

“Come on Kagome lets play hide-and-seek.”

Over the span of a year, Kagome Uchiha and Kea Uchiha became the best of friends. Kea may have been twice Kagome's age and a shinobi but she still played with her. Kea herself was very beautiful for a twelve-year old, porcelain skin famous to Uchihas, waist-length hair, green eyes and the perfect body. It had surprised many that she even turned out this way because just two years ago she was unattractive. Everywhere she went she grabbed the lusting attention of males and even some straight females. One day Kea was running an errand and she ran into a crying Kagome. Being a caring person asked her what was wrong. It turned out that some boys were teasing her because she was the only Uchiha with stormy-blue eyes. After quickly righting the situation she and Kagome became best friends just as fast. The two of them were closer to each other than they were to their own families.

Yesterday Kea was going to train outside for the upcoming chunin exams. When she passed by her parents room she overheard them arguing.

“Karen our daughter is not safe with that monster!”

“Kai you know damn well that if Kagome wanted her dead she would be!”

“You really want her to turn out like your mother don't you.”

“That was below the belt and you know it! No! I don't want her to end up dead! I would die for her if I had to!”

“I have had enough of your petty argument I will resolve this myself!”

“Kai, please do not tell Kea or you will regret it!”

“I will tell you what I will and will not regret you bitch!”

That was the end of the argument and Kai had won. As soon as he walked out he saw Kea “walking by” and decided to tell her what happened to her grandmother. Unbeknownst to him she already knew everything and was out to get the “bakemono's” head. When she found Kagome she asked her if she wanted to play hide and seek.

“Ok Kagome you be the seeker.”

"Ok nee-san."

“Get ready. 1-2-3-4-5”

Kea used this time to sneak-up on Kagome and waited until she turned around to kill her, so the "bakemono" could see the face of her killer.

“6-7-8-9-10. Ready or not here I come."

“This is for killing my grandmother you bakemono”

`Monster…killing her grandmother…how…why…what's going on? What's gonna happen to me?'As soon as she turned around, she looked at Kea in fear because you could clearly see the killing intent in her eyes. As Kea moved in for the kill, Kagome raised her arms in a feeble attempt to defend herself from the attack. Before she knew what happened she blacked out.

“Wh…Who are you?”

“I am the “bakemono” that killed your grandmother. Why are you scared?”

“Why did you kill her and why did you attack Konoha?!”

“I do not have to answer you traitorous human, but considering you are about to die I'll tell you. For the first question I killed her because she attacked me and for the second I attacked Konoha because one of your shinobi killed all nine of my kits. Now you see where that grief and rage got me. Now you see where it has gotten you as well.

And just like that Mameko ripped out Kea's heart before she could even utter a sound.

Kit are you alright?

W-Who a-a-are you and yes I'm fine.

I'm Mameko but you humans know me as Kage no Kyuubi.

But why can I hear you?

When you were born,the Nidaime sealed my spirit inside your body.

What did you do to deserve that?

Nothing really it'sjust that foolish hebi-sannin killed my kits and I attacked your village to find him and exact my revenge.

I'm sorry I asked.

No do not be it is not your fault you did not know but now you do.

What happened to my best friend?

I killed her as well as giving you the ability you humans call the Mangekyou Sharingon.

Why and what'sthe Mangekyou Sahrigon?

It's Sharingon and she would keep hunting you down until she killed you and for the second part, you'll find out soon enough.

Wha…Why would she want to kill me we were best friends.

When I was in my own body,I killed her grandmother.

Oh…Why does my body feel so funny?

So you finally noticed, I improved your senses to match mine.

Improved?

Um…I guess you could say I made them better.

Oh…Ok thank you.

Someone is coming!

”Kagome are you okay?!”

`Whoever hurt her is so dead.' It was her aniki Itachi.

What am I gonna do?

Don't say anything and keep crying…oh and I'll hide your eyes for now.

“Kagome where are you?!”

I can't take anymore!

“A-aniki I-I'm over *hiccup* h-here”

`My voice is weird, is it because I was just sobbing over my “nee-san's” death?'

“Kagome what on earth happened?!”

I knowthis goes againstyour nature but you must lie.

“I don't know one minute we were playing hide-and-seek the next she was on the grass like this.”

“Well I report this lets take you home to get you cleaned up.”

`Phew'

Once Kagome made it into the house she took a quick shower and went back to the scene of the attempted murder. `Of course no body knows that much yet.'

I'm sorry it's so short but this is again my first fic and I just wanted to test the waters a bit. Ja Ne
