As Kagome realized that she was in neither of the eras she called home, she fainted.

Later, she woke up with a start, seeing that she was not in a place she recognized.

“Rin?” She called, “Rin, where are you?!” Kagome got up to look for her daughter.

As she did, she got the feeling that she was being watched. As she looked around the

clearing, she heard someone scream and jump at her from behind. “Holy Shit!” Kagome

cried, as she hugged her daughter. “Rin, I thought I had lost you too!” She exclaimed.

“Wow Momma, you look really different!” Was all that came from Rin. “Really, how

so?” Your hair is black with sliver streaks, and you got black claws and pretty white

fangs!” Holy Fucking Shit! Your Right!” Kagome shouted. “Momma, I picked you a

flower.” Rin said, holding up a black rose. “Rin, it's so pretty., just like you, why don't

you hold on to it for me.” Kagome said as she swept her up into her arms. “Momma,

where are we?” Rin asked finally. “I don't know sweetie, but we're just going to have to

walk until we find a village.” Kagome said. “Oh, ok.” Rin said. And so they walked, with

only each other for company, surviving off the land. On the third day, as they settled

down to search for food, Kagome heard a faint whistling sound, like something being

thrown in the wind. “Rin watch out!” She cried as she jumped in front of her daughter,

taking the full blow of the kunai. “Ooh, we got a brave one here.” A voice rang out

pain of the kunai lodged in between her shoulders. “My name is not important, and I just

want to play.” The voice answered. “You bastard, I do not want to play your twisted

games! Now leave my daughter and me alone! (Hint- I said bastard, meaning the voice

was male!) “That's it, I'm tired of your attitude, get her boys!” As he said this a gang of

five men came out and attacked. “Momma!” Rin shouted, as Kagome went to fight them.

They proved to be too much for Kagome, who was protecting not only herself but Rin as

well. They ran her through with swords and stabbed her with kunai many times. Kagome

was swaying from the blood loss, but was still standing in a desperate attempt at

protecting Rin. Suddenly a blow was delivered to the back of her head. As she fell down

to the ground, the last thing he saw was Rin screaming out for her as she was dragged

away by their foes. “Rin.” Was the last thing Kagome was able to whisper before she fell

into the peaceful bliss of unconsciousness.
