Chapter 45 Invasion on the Leaf part 5

Chunin Exam Stadium

 

 

 

The battle has been very intense the leaf ninjas were giving everything they had and their odds of winning were closed, but things turn bad as more sound ninjas appeared making their chances of winning very low. They were now reaching their limit they didn't have much chakra to keep on fighting, Lee and Gai ended up opening three of the eight gates in hopes to win the fight and they were exhausted as side effects from opening the gates.

 

Neji has used all of his techniques from the Great Heavenly spin to the to the great palm strike and like the rest of his teammates he was at the point of exhaustion. Shino was one of the ninjas who was almost ready to collapse since releasing his insects takes a moderate amount of chakra to release and he has summon them for too long right now he didn't know when he was going to collapse from chakra exhaustion. Hinata and Kurenai were in the same position, Hinata use all her techniques from the Hyuga stylt to her own original techniques and she was at the point of exhaustion Kurenai has used all her strongest genjutsus the sound ninjas were still coming in doing those genjutsus it took a lot of her chakra and she was now panting hard she was at the brink of defeat.

 

Shikamaru was mumbling that the whole fight was a real drag and it was troublesome to keep fighting he was almost out of chakra for using his shadows techniques. Asuma was still using his wind blades he was trying not to look exhausted from fighting but in truth he was he didn't know how long he could go on. Genma has been fighting with everything he had since the battle begin and he was one the most who looked very tired still he stubborn and he wasn't the type of person to give up so easily.

 

The sand siblings were in the same boat as the leaf ninjas, Kankuruo has used all the techniques from his three puppets like the leaf ninjas his chakra was running low and he need his chakra in order to control his puppet trough the chakra strings. Temari was panting hard she have used all of her wind jutsus in the fight and she was low on chakra since she needs to channel her chakra trough her fan to perform the wind techniques, right now both siblings were wishing that their other sand sibling was here with them.

 

Kakashi was another ninja who has reach his limit in endurance and chakra level, he has used techniques from Gai like the primary lotus and he has used Sasuke's phoenix flower jutsu he copy and used most of the strong jutsus not to mention he has used chidori over five times. He felt like collapsing on the ground form exhaustion he was low on chakra and it wont be long before the fight would end and by judging how the fight was turning it look like it was going to be at the sound ninjas favor. Anko was upset at the fact that she was almost out of chakra she curse under her breath for not being strong enough she wanted to have the chance to fight the snake sanin and killed him.

 

The leaf ninjas along with the sand siblings were at their final moments and just before things were going to end for them a sound a large group of sound ninjas were send to the other side of the village. They all looked the other way and saw Tsunade along with Jiraiya who lifted his hand in the air and created a huge rasengan the size of a planet he lunge at the whole army of sound ninjas while the leaf ninjas left in a hurry knowing the destructive power of the rasengan.

 

ULTIMATE RASENGAN

 

The giant rasengan destroy every sound ninja in the stadium Jiraiya grin while looking at Tsunade.

 

“I thought you were staying at the hospital” Jiraiya said

 

Tsunade smirk” old habits die hard I guess” she looked to the group of leaf and sand ninjas” is everyone al right?”

 

“Barely” came Kakashi's reply

 

“I see this fight has become very hard our chances of winning are low” Tsunade said

 

At that instant a group of ambu ninjas appeared

 

“Have there been any casualties?” Tsunade said

 

“No Hokagesama they have only been victims of energy drain” an ambu said

 

“There it goes again” Jiraiya said

 

Tsunade sighed before turning to the group of ambus” scatter trough the whole village and check if there are any sign of sound ninjas make sure that there's none of them”

 

“Yes Hokagesama” the ambu said vanishing with the rest of the group

 

Another ambu appeared” Hokagesama its urgent there's a giant snake in the forest”

 

Tsunade and the leaf ninjas gasp

 

“Will this ever end?” Tsunade said irritated” go with other available ambus and stop it from getting to the village”

 

“Yes Hokagesama” the ambu said and vanish

 

“Ill go with the ambu Im not expecting you guys to come with me in your conditions” Jiraiya said looking to the exhausted group of leaf ninjas

 

“Its al right I just hope Naruto and the others catch up to Kabuto” Kakashi said

 

“Ill be checking on that too” Jiraiya said as he vanish

 

“Kakashi everyone go to the hospital I will check on the shelter where the villagers are staying” Tsunade said

 

“We shouldn't they might still be sound ninjas in the village” Asuma said

 

“I hate to say it but Hokagesama is right were out of chakra we can fight like this I think it would be best to go to the hospital” Gai said

 

“Be careful Hokagesama” Anko said

 

Tsunade nodded and left the stadium

 

“Lets go” Kakashi said

 

The ninjas nodded and vanish

 

 

 

Somewhere in a dark place

 

 

 

“Please tell me were not where I think we are?” Sakura said

 

“You mean inside of the snake yeah” Sasuke said checking his surroundings which was completely dark

 

“Yup we got swallowed by the giant snake” Chibi Usa said

 

“Oh not again this is the second time I got eaten by a snake” Naruto whined

 

“What are we going to do now?' Sakura said

 

“Well we have to get out of here before the snake gets his potty break” Sasuke said

 

The three ninjas gulp at the Uchihas comment

 

“Potty break what does that mean?” Naruto said confused

 

“Hello Naruto it means were going to get digested” Sakura said

 

Naruto's eyes widened” oh no I…..I don't want to be turn into poop”

 

“Its okay uncle were not going to be turned into poop” Chibi Usa said

 

Both Sasuke and Sakura heard Chibi Usa's comment about their blond teammate

 

“Lets get out of here Im not staying here” Naruto said

 

“And how are we going to do that its dark in here” Sakura said

 

“Just leave it to me” Sasuke said all of the sudden a tag with a flame appeared in the Uchihas hand

 

Sakura gasp” Sasukekun is that an explosive tag?”

 

“No its only a normal tag it wont explode, come on we have to get out of the snakes stomach before potty time” Sasuke said

 

The ninjas nodded and started walking Sakura got close to Sasuke” did she just called Naruto uncle?” she whisper in his ear

 

“Im as confuse as you are” Sasuke whisper back

 

Sakura took a quick glance at Naruto and Chibi Usa before turning back to the Uchiha as they continue walk out of the snakes stomach.

 

 

 

Konoha Forest

 

 

 

The squad of ambu ninjas arrived at the forest where the giant snake was rampaging.

 

“Surround the snake don't let it get to the village” an ambu said

 

The ambus nodded and surround the snake they throw all their explosive kuanis at it hoping to stop it for good, the explosions cover the snake when the smoke clear the snake was still unharmed.

 

“Impossible” an ambu said shock

 

“It still standing use jutsus on it” another ambu said

 

The ambu squad nodded one ambu use a shuriken shadow clone jutsu while another use a fireball jutsu the rest of the ambu follow by using the same jutsu. The combination of techniques were overwhelming that created a large explosion, the ambus were still in attack formation waiting for the snake to be alive when the smoke clear they gasp the snake was still unharmed without a scratch on.

 

(Its impossible after all those attacks it should be dead its like its skin was made of hard steel) an ambu thought

 

Inside of the snake the four ninjas felt that strong tremors due to the attacks on the snake

 

“Looks like they started fighting the snake” Sasuke said

 

“We don't have much time if they killed the snake well be goners” Sakura said

 

“Then lets keep going I don't want to stay here and become snake poop” Naruto said

 

Chibi Usa gasp” uh oh don't look now but we have company”

 

The four ninjas looked in front of them and saw that they were surrounded by small snakes.

 

“This looks like an imitation of Orochimaru's serpents paradise jutsu” Sasuke said

 

Naruto growl” we don't have time for this lets go trough them” he took out a kunai from his hostler

 

The ninjas nodded and charge at them both Chibi Usa and Naruto slash trough the snakes with their kunais, Sakura did the same and Sasuke slash them with Kusanagi. They were shock when the snakes regenerated.

 

“They can regenerated this is bad” Sasuke said

 

“Great can it get any worse?” Naruto said

 

Naruto got his answer when the hole inside of the snake began to get cover in acid the snakes were unaffected by the acid making the situation more complicated.

 

Sasuke and Sakura glared at Naruto while Chibi Usa sighed

 

“You have to ask don't you” Chibi Usa said

 

Naruto hang his head in shame” great me and my big mouth”

 

“Now what are we going to do?” Sakura said

 

“Like Naruto said were going trough them” Sasuke said as he made a couple of hand seals

 

FIRE STYLE GRAND FIREBALL JUTSU

 

Sasuke shot a giant fireball from his mouth it hit the entire stomach of the snake hitting every snake in the way.

 

“Now's our chance lets get out of here before they regenerate again” Sasuke said

 

The ninjas nodded and left they ran as fast as they could before they could realize they were now being follow by the army of small snakes.

 

“So where are we going?” Naruto said

 

“As far away from those snakes” Sakura said while looking behind at the snakes

 

“We can't keep on running from them forever well have to face them sooner or later” Chibi Usa said

 

“Not quite” Sasuke said getting the attention from the rest” the others are trying to kill the giant snake outside so were going to find a way to kill it from the inside were going to hit it where it hurts”

 

“You mean attack the heart” Sakura interjected since she was a medic ninja she knew well

 

Sasuke smirk” right”

 

“So we attack the heart and kill the snake al right lets do it great plan Sasuke” Naruto said with a smile

 

“Well someone has to be the brains around here unlike you” Sasuke said with a grin

 

Naruto growl” what's that supposed to mean baka?”

 

“Oh I don't know maybe it means Im smart and you're dumb” Sasuke said sarcastic

 

Naruto growl” WHAT SAY THAT AGAIN I DARE YOU”

 

They were going to go in one of their usual argues but Sakura step in

 

“ENOUGH YOU TWO NOW IS NOT THE TIME” Sakura shouted making the two ninjas stop their arguing she sighed” I swear you two are like a bunch of little kids”

 

Chibi Usa giggle(uncle Sasuke's attitude hasn't change a bit)

 

“Well have to reach the heart if we want to defeat it” Naruto said

 

“And that's where were going” Sasauke said

 

“Those snakes are still following us” Chibi Usa said

 

“Keep going no matter what we might lose them on the way” Sasuke said he took a quick glance at the snake army behind them (I hope?)

 

The nodded and continue to run from the massive of snakes that were following them.

 

 

 

Back at the chunin exam stadium

 

 

 

Tsunade was standing alone by now the rest of the ninjas were back at the hospital they were down since they used a lot of chakra from their fight with the sound ninjas. Right now the fifth Hokage was in a bad mood she was at the point of reaching critical level and she felt like beating the crap of someone and to her she would love to beat down a certain snake sanin.

 

An ambu ninja appeared” report” Tsunade sain in a serious tone

 

“We search the entire village and we didn't find any trace of the sound ninjas anywhere” the ambu said

 

“You mean to tell me that they just vanish out of thin air just like that keep searching and report back to me” Tsunade said

 

“Yes Hokagesama” the ambu said as he vanish

 

Tsunade growl she tighten her fist(the sound ninjas attack the village, Shizune still hasn't woken up yet I haven't had a drink of sake for weeks AND I STILL HAVEN'T SEEN NARUTO Orochimaru you better not show your face here because if you do Im gonna beat the living hell out of you)

 

 

Back at the forest

 

 

 

The ambu squad was getting desperate they have already used a lot of their jutsus which included some of the strongest and they still couldn't lay a scratch on the giant snake

 

“How can this be we used every jutsu in our disposal and that thing still alive” an ambu said

 

An ambu gasp” ITS GOING TO ATTACK”

 

The ambu squad saw that the giant snake was going to attack when suddenly Gamabunta the toad boss came and block the attack of the snake Jiraiya was on top of Gamabunta's head.

 

“Its Jiraiyasama” an ambu said

 

“It's a good thing I decided to tag along or you anmbu's would have been in deep trouble” Jiraiya said with a smirk on his face

 

Gamabunta was staring at the giant brown snake” is it just me Jiraiya or is that snake's skin is way too shinny for a regular snake?”

 

Jiraiya gasp” you're right then that snake is……no it can't be, so Orochimaru has summon it Mansashi the steel skin snake”

 

“So that's the snake with the metal skin its invincible since there's no jutsu that can penetrate its skin” Gamabunta said

 

The ambu squad gasp at the revelation

 

“That explains why none of our jutsus didn't harm it” an ambu said

 

“Jiraiyasama is there any way to defeat it?” an ambu said

 

“Unfortunately no, but there's only way to defeat it Mansashi can't be killed from the outside because of it steel skin but an attack from the inside that would do the trick” Jiraiya said

 

“So we have to attack it from the inside huh?” Gamabunta said” and how the hell are we gonna do that?”

 

“Im still working on it” Jiraiya said with a sweat drop

 

“Well think fast then because its not going to give you any time to think” Gamabunta said as he saw that Mansashi was about to attack

 

The steel snake open its large mouth and threw an immense wave of acid Gamabunta jump out of the way the ambu did the same, but the acid took a large part of the forest.

 

(Damn we can't let it threw another wave of acid it will melt the whole forest and the same thing might happen to the village) Jiraiya thought

 

“Looks like this is going to be a complicated fight” Gamabunta said as he prepare his dagger

 

Jiraiya nodded(I don't know what to do attacking it with jutsus will be a waste of chakra since it wont hurt it with its steel skin this is gonna be a troublesome fight)

 

Inside of Masanshi the four ninjas were now walking in the in the inside of the steel snake, by now they have already manage to lose the army of snakes that were following them.

 

“Are we near the heart Sasuke?” Naruto said

 

Sasuke activated his sharingan” we still have a ways to go”

 

“So we still have to walk great” Naruto whined

 

“Well at least we lose the snakes” Sakura said

 

Naruto sighed he continue to walk when he realize that Chibi Usa was missing he looked behind and saw that she stop walking he could tell that she had something on her mind. He went to his future niece side and tried to talk to her.

 

“What's wrong Chibichan?” Naruto said

 

Chibi Usa snap from whateer thing she was thinking” huh oh its nothing uncle Im fine”

 

“Somethings bothering you why don't you tell me you might feel better” Naruto said

 

“Hey what's wrong?” came the voice of Sasuke

 

“Its okay guys wait a little for a while” Naruto said

 

Sasuke sighed while Sakura just shrug her shoulders meaning they were going to wait for them.

 

“Well are you going to tell me Chibichan?” Naruto said

 

Chibi Usa sighed knowing she couldn't hide it from her future uncle” okay its about the moon rasengan?”

 

Naruto blink” moon rasengan Chibichan can you do the moon rasengan?”

 

Chibi Usa shook her head” no Im still working on that what I want to ask you how can you do it what did you have to do to use it?”

 

Naruto gave a thoughtful look before answering” I…..well the first time I used the moon rasengan it was when I remember my past life I felt angry I wanted to help Usaginechan no matter what I felt so useless so I felt like this other power inside of myself rising for a moment and before I realize it I have created the moon rasengan and I used it on Orochimaru which I thought he was dead”

 

“Another present inside you hum I wonder if that's the power of the moon as a descendent of the moon family anyway that's my opinion” Chibi Usa said

 

“I guess but that means you can do moon rasengan too you're Usaginechan's daughter and my niece so you will learn it eventually right” Naruto said giving his fox grin

 

Chibi Usa smile” right Ill learn it thanks for the motivation uncle”

 

“Hey you two we gotta keep moving now” Sasuke said

 

“Yeah yeah were coming lets go Chibichan” Naruto said

 

Chibi Usa nodded and the two ninjas went back to Sasuke and Sakura as the group continue walking the inside of Mansashi.

 

Outside Jiraiya knew that he had to stop the steel skin snake before it reach the village it was now moving at a fast step, he thought for a moment for the best strategy to use against the snake he finally knew what to do.

 

He made a quick hand seal

 

NINJA ART TOAD SWAMP JUTSU

 

Beneath the ground that Mansashi has turn into a black swamp making the steel skin snake fell Mansashi try to move but it was useless it was completely trap in the swamp.

 

“Jiraiyasama you did it” an ambu said

 

“I only found a way to prevent from moving and reaching the village the toad swamp will hold it for a while the problem is I don't know what to do next Mansashi is completely invincible from outside attacks” Jiraiya said

 

“Then the only thing we can do is to let it stay in the swamp” Gamabunta said

 

“That's the problem I don't know how long the toad swamp will remain” Jiraiya said

 

“So that's it if that's the case then Im out of here Im useless in this fight” Gamabunta said as he vanish in a large cloud of smoke

 

(The only thing I can do is to cast the toad swamp jutsu again but it takes chakra to perform it I don't know how many times Ill be able to cast it) Jiraiya thought

 

Back inside of the body of Mansashi the group finally reach a dead end, or so they thought.

 

Naruto sweat dropped” great so much for reaching the heart of the snake”

 

“No wait” Sasuke said as he activated his sharingan he smirk” that's a false wall looks like the snake knows that were still alive and it doesn't want us to reach the heart”

 

“So its using some kind of defense mechanism” Sakura said

 

“That's what I think” Sasuke said

 

“Then what are we waiting lets destroy that stupid wall” Naruto said

 

“I agree” Chibi Usa said

 

“Always jumping to conclusions Naruto but we have no choice but to take your advice” Sasuke said with a smirk

 

The ninjas prepare their kuanis and shurikens while Sasuke sheathed Kusanagi, all of the sudden an army of snakes appeared in front of them.

 

“Not them again” Chibi Usa said

 

“Do we go trough them again?” Sakura said

 

“Lets focus on the wall but if it comes down to it take down the snakes” Sasuke said

 

The four ninjas nodded and charge at the false wall but the snakes were too fast and caught the ninjas by surprise or did they. The four vanish and they were replace by a wooden logs with a an explosive tag carved on the log, the great explosion took the all of the snakes. The four ninjas apperared in front of the wall the remaining snakes charge at them Naruto and Chibi Usa team up using their shadow clones and their kunais, they manage to kill all of them Sasuke and Sakura got into attack position.

 

“Sakura I want you to hit the wall with all of your strength” Sasuke said

 

Sakura gasp a little” all of my strength right” she crack her knuckles before charging chakra on her left fist

 

Sasuke started charging chidori, after a few seconds Sakura and Sasuke charge at the wall at fast speed Sasuke with his chidori in hand and Sakura with her fist charged with chakra they hit the false wall with everything they had.

 

CHIDORI

 

Sakura's fist hit the wall along with Sasuke's chidori the wall was destroy they heard a loud growl of pain by Mansashi, when the wall collapse they saw it the heart of Mansashi beating normally. Sasuke and Sakura were about to attack the heart when an army of snakes wrap their bodies making them unable to move.

 

“NO SASUKE SAKURACHAN” Naruto shouted

 

Sasuke and Sakura try to break free from the snakes grasp” damn forget about us Naruto go destroy the heart I don't think the others outside aren't having better luck in stopping the snake” Sasuke said

 

“That's right Naruto Chibi Usa go destroy the heart” Sakura said

 

Suddenly the snakes tighten their hold on the two ninjas making them scream in pain, Naruto wanted to help his teammates but he remember what Sasuke told him. Naruto looked back at Chibi Usa who seem to be afraid.

 

“Chibichan this is it were going to use moon rasengan” Naruto said

 

Chibi Usa gasp” what but I can't I haven't learn it yet”

 

“Then this is the perfect opportunity for you to learn it remember what I told you concentrate you have to be fully sure you want to help everyone not the other way around” Naruto said

 

Chibi Usa nodded and close her eyes she began to think about the times when she was a burden back when she first arrived at Tokyo when the Sailor Moon senshis have to protect her from the black moon she thought when the wise man turn her evil into dark lady she hated herself for being weak for hurting the people she care about.

 

(Im not weak anymore Im a senshi and a ninja I was trained by my uncle Im strong I want to protect the people who are important to me) Chibi Usa thought as she looked at Sasuke and Sakura who were still screaming from the snakes tightening around their bodies(uncle Sasuke and aunt Sakura I have to protect them or Saki wont be born and she's a good friend of mine)

 

Suddenly she felt a powerful force flowing inside her body and without realizing it her golden crescent moon appeared on her forehead she slowly raise her right hand and a large silver sphere was formed on the palm of her hand.

 

(I did it I learn moon rasengan) Chibi Usa thought happily as she looked at her uncle that by now he has form moon rasengan on his right hand

 

The two ninjas charge at the heart of Mansashi

 

“MOON RASENGAN” they both shouted in unison

 

The two silver spheres crash into the heart of the steel snake making it explode into million pieces, the snakes that were tied around Sasuke and Sakura vanish letting the two ninjas fall to the ground. Naruto and Chibi Usa went to check on them, they heard the growl of pain from Mansashi that suddenly stop.

 

Outside Jiraiya and the ambu squad gaze in shock at the unconscious Mansashi

 

“What just happened?” a shock ambu said

 

“Looks like Mansashi was….killed” Jiraiya said in awe

 

“But how?” another ambu said he looked a the toad sanin” Jiraiyasama did you….”

 

“Hey don't look at me I didn't do nothing” Jiraiya said he then saw that the toad swamp jutsu have disappeared” well looks like the jutsu faded just in time”

 

Suddenly Manasashi exploded some of the forest ended up with the remains of the snake which was considered gross, the ambu squad were shock and surprised to see team Kakashi cover in the same gross substance as the trees. They all went to the group of ninjas Jiraiya was the first to be in front of them he also saw a teen girl with pink hair just like Sakura.

 

“So Naruto it was you the one who kill Mansashi from the inside huh pretty impressive I expected no less from you” Jiraiya said with a smirk

 

Naruto got up along with the rest of the group” oh perverted hermit you're here”

 

Jiraiya sweat dropped” please Naruto stop calling me that”

 

“Ewww” Sakura said as she was cover in Mansanshi's goo

 

“Yeah this is pretty gross” Chibi Usa said

 

“This isn't very pleasant” Sasuke said

 

Naruto smell his uniform” hey you guys this isn't so bad I smell good I guess I don't have to take a bath after all”

 

Sasuke, Sakura and Chibi Usa were glaring at him the three threw more of Mansashi's ggo at his face.

 

“What?” Naruto said

 

“Where's Kabuto?” Jiraiya said changing the subject

 

“He got away” Sasuke said

 

“I see then we better go back to the village then” Jiraiya said

 

An ambu appeared” Jiraiyasama and team Kakashi Hokagesama wants to see all of you in her office”

 

“We better get going then” Naruto said

 

Jiraiya nodded but before he turn to leave he looked back at the group” by the way is she a relative of yours Sakura?” he pointed at Chibi Usa

 

Sakura and Chibi Usa sweat dropped at the toad sanins comment

 

(I knew he was going to say that) Chibi Usa thought

 

“I think we should at least go back to our homes and take a bath before speaking to Tsunadesama first I really don't want to have this gross stuff on me any longer” Sakura said

 

“Yeah I agree” Chibi Usa said and Sasuke nodded

 

“Very well you guys wash yourself before arriving at Tsunade's office Ill see you there then” Jiraiya said as he left with the ambu

 

“Lets go” Sasuke said

 

The ninjas nodded and left the forest

 

(Kabuto where are you?) Sasuke thought

 

Outside of Konoha Kabuto stood on a cliff he took out the small black crystal and gave an evil grin. All of the sudden the crystal turn into dust however Kabuto wasn't so shock at all.

 

“It disintegrated just like Orochimarusama say it would” Kabuto said” it doesn't matter now” he gave one last look at Konoha before vanishing out of sight
