It's been exactly three years since Sasuke left Konoha…since he left me on that stone-cold bench, to fulfill his goddamn destiny…

 

`Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo' is one of the most famous lines from William Shakespeare's tragedy story, Romeo and Juliet. It's also one of the most misunderstood quotes of all time. `Wherefore' does not mean `where'…it actually means `why'. Juliet is asking why Romeo is a Montague; they cannot be together because of their feuding families…it's sad, really. But, in the end, they overcome the family feud together. How?

In a way, you could put the two star-crossed lover's situations with Sasuke-kun and me. If you think about it hard enough, you would understand where I was coming from…

 

Romeo couldn't stay with his true love, because the family feud prohibited him from that. Plus, he got banished.

 

Sasuke can't stay here with his friends, because of his family. His family is preventing him from happiness…from true love… He practically BANISHED himself…and sometimes, I think, he killed himself.

 

The Sasuke Uchiha that we knew and love (yep, the one with a three-foot-rod stuck in his ass), has disappeared from this earth.

Sometimes I feel like saying, “Why are you an Uchiha?” I know, it is a weird question to ask, but think of the possibilities if he was not born under the Uchiha name!

 

If he wasn't an Uchiha, then he'd still be happy. Sure, he'd have to face rabid fan-girls, but there's Naruto and me to stop them! He wouldn't be in “loner-mode” so much! -SIGH-

 

He'd still have a family that would love and care for him. He could have lived a normal life…Sasuke…could have fallen in love with someone…

 

If he wasn't an Uchiha, then…I don't even know anymore…

 

…do you think that's how it will be between Sasuke-kun and me? Would we meet each other again in heaven, you think? Or has he killed and committed too many crimes to even reach heaven?

Maybe I'm over-thinking things too much; I usually do that when I can't sleep. Yeah, that's it. Get a glass of warm milk, and then hop into bed. After all, Naruto, Sai, and Kakashi-sensei (including myself) are supposed to train in the morning…

 

I guess five hours of sleep will do. -YAWN-
