Maric ran toward the village not knowing where he was going just wanting to sink his teeth into that man called Orochimaru. Rachal held onto Maric's fur for dear life hoping that Maric would soon come to his senses. Maric stopped in front of the village gates looking at them in amazement as did Rachal but she saw that the gate looked battered from a previous attack from what she didn't know but she was very curious.

Unknown to them it was chaos in the village all the ninjas were planning to attack the demon under the watch of the Hokage on the top of the village gates. All of the civilians hid and watched in anticipation feeling the excitement and fear crackle in the air. Tusanda watched from the top of the wall when she saw something on the back of the demon. Tusanda's eyes narrowed trying to see what was on the top of the demon's back but she couldn't see anything but a small dark shape.

Hiashi Hyuga stood next to her watching as well. Tusanda asked him,” Hiashi will you take a look at the demon's back with your Byakugan? I think there is something there.” Hiashi simply nodded and activated the Byakugan and looked carefully at the demon's back then said in amazement and confusion,” Hokage there's a girl on the demon's back!”

Tusanda's eyes widen and told a shonobi that was near her to tell everyone to be careful of the girl and to not kill her because she might be possessed by the demon and to capture her instead.

Rachal stiffened and Maric growled,” We're surrounded. We have to fight. There are human though this shouldn't be much of a problem. Rachal nodded and put a spell on her sword Wind Breeze that why it couldn't be seen. Rachal whipped up the winds to keep most of the projectiles from hitting Maric and herself with only a thought.

Just then shonobi from the trees threw shuriken and kuni most being blocked but some hitting even with the windshield up. Maric roared and used his tails to destroy the trees that the shonobi were hiding in. Rachal saw most of the shonobi escape so she used her needles that came from her figures to hit them in the pressure points, which were deadly accurate.

Gai watched as his fellow ninja fall for the base of the wall and turned to Kakashi who was standing next to him. Gai smiled and said,” You ready Kakashi? Lets go!” Kakashi nodded and started to run at the demon that was too busy trying to destroy the other ninjas to see the two run at his front. Kakashi had now created the Chidori and was running at full speed at the demon Gai was working on getting the injured out and working on keeping the demon busy.

Maric was getting more and more frustrated that he couldn't kill the fast moving man in green. Rachal watched as Maric was getting frustrated over that on man. Rachal's eyes widened and she looked around wildly realizing that the man was just a distraction!

Rachal locked her eyes on to a sliver haired man with the hair leaning to one side with a scar over his right that was red and he wore a green vest. What got his attention though was that a lightning like ball of energy was in his hands but it was giving off the sound of birds chirping. Rachal knew that it wasn't lightning but knew it was deadly. Rachal looked up at the sky and saw that it was about to be an all out downpour. Rachal smiled seeing the lightning flash in the sky.

Rachal jumped to the top of Maric's head getting everyone's attention making Gai stop in his tracks Maric seeing his chance hit Gai with one of his tails sending him flying into the wall and being knocked unconscious. Maric still didn't notice Kakashi running at him because he was still taking care of the other ninjas that were still attacking acting as a distraction.

Kakashi saw the girl jump to the demon's head but didn't stop running at the demon but he hoped that the girl would not try anything that would get herself hurt. Rachal glared as the man still started to run at Maric and thought to herself,' Oh well I guess I have to teach this man a lesson about attacking an enemy you underestimate!'

Rachal jumped off Maric's head directly into the path that Kakashi was running on to get to Maric. Rachal lifted her hands to the sky and closed her eyes and smiled tilting her head up to the sky so the man couldn't see her eyes. Kakashi watched the girl's daring move and slowed down but still kept running he then saw to his horror two bolts of lightning hit the girl dead center in the hands she held palm up to the sky. Kakashi thought for sure that the girl would die from the hit from the lightning and collapse.

Rachal smiled happily as she felt the tingle of the lightning hitting her hands and it shaped to her will skillfully with only her thoughts being able to do so because of being the Oracle of the Sky and having lots of practice. Kakashi watched in amazement as the lightning that hit the girl turn into two balls made up of pure lightning that stayed in her hands and sparked.

Rachal opened her eyes and lowered her head to look at the man that was still running but had slowed a lot. Kakashi saw that the girl's eyes had lightning flashing in them as well and they were a light with excitement! Kakashi actually felt afraid of this strange girl but knew he still had to try and get past her to try and save the village determination filled his soul and ran even faster at the girl.

Rachal growled angrily when she realized that the man was going to stop his assault. Kakashi and Rachal were only a few yards from each other now. Kakashi sliced upward at Rachal with his Chidori but Rachal used one of the balls of lightning as a shield from the attack but both the Chidori and the one lightning ball that she used as a shield disappeared. Now Kakashi was defenseless so Rachal acted quickly by thrusting the other ball of lightning into Kakashi sending him flying away and ending up knocked out.

Rachal then jumped back onto Maric's back who had now made quick work of the ninjas either by sending them flying or injuring them so they couldn't fight any more on both were glaring angrily at the gates both were waiting for the next move by their unknown enemy that seem to use the same strange power that the man and those boys used.

Tusanda jumped down from the wall to help the injured as Jiraiya jumped down as well making his hand signs Jiraiya summoned Gamabunta making Rachal and Maric's eyes widen in amazement Maric took a step back from the frog boss as his tails twitched angrily Rachal lowered herself deeper into Maric's fur to try to keep out of the way of the battle that was about to start. Rachal worried that Maric was going to get hurt and that they could just go home.

Just then Naruto and Sasuke had made it back to the village and saw Gamabunta ready to fight the demon. Naruto looked over to Sauce and whispered worriedly,” Hey I don't want that girl to get hurt and it looks like Tusanda and Jiraiya don't want her to be hurt either. Can you get behind her knock her out and then get away from that demon as fast as you can with that girl?”

Sasuke nodded both were afraid of what might happen if the demon realized that Sasuke was on its back before they got the girl away. Naruto ran to the wall of the village going around the toad boss but keeping his eyes on the girl and Sasuke the whole time. It was hard to she the girl because she was trying to hind herself in the demon's fur looking Naruto couldn't see the girl's face but he knew that she was probably afraid out of her mind.

Rachal shook from the thought of what would happen when the two beast clash and looked at the toad in amazement. Sasuke jumped onto the demon's back from behind trying to not let the demon feel his weight, he looked ahead and saw the girl had buried her face into the demon's fur and clutched to the fur for dear life. Sasuke snuck behind her and a delivered a swift hit to the base of her neck.

Rachal felt a sharp pain in her neck underneath the place where the Goron's Ruby was hidden under her hair her vision went black and fell unconscious.

Sasuke moved quickly picking up the girl but stopped surprised that the girl was so light but something caught his eye there was 3 tattoo like mark on the sides of her neck except for the front of her neck, but also having a scar on her left side of her neck under the mark on that side of the neck. Sasuke snapped out of his trance and quickly jumped off the demon's back running for his life toward the village gate knowing the demon would soon realized the girl was gone.

Maric snarled as he felt Rachal's weight disappeared and turned worriedly to look for Rachal hoping that she was okay but because he looked away Gamabunta took his chance and used his sword to hit Maric in the back and leg and smiled hearing a definite crack of bone. Maric jumped away knowing that he couldn't fight in his condition, but he was feeling his anger fill him and used it to make him get out of sight of the village but promised that he would try to get Rachal back tomorrow if he had to die in the process.

Maric ran thinking,' If they hurt Rachal I'll destroy that village even if it kills me.'

Sasuke appeared next to Naruto, Tusanda, and Jiraiya holding the girl in his arms and very exhausted. Tusanda took the girl from Sasuke and took her the hospital with all the rest of the injured but knew the girl would be partly blamed by the village for the demon's attack and would probably try to make her kill the girl or would try to kill her themselves thinking that the demon would probably come back to try and get the girl back.

 

With Rosemary and Quentin

`Sand. Sand. And more sand. Will this sand ever end!' thought Quentin walking with Rosemary asleep on his back frustrated with this whole adventure. Brittany walked beside him keeping lookout as they walked. Quentin sighed and sat down in the sand too tired to keep walking. Laying Rosemary in the sand next to him he looked out across the sand. Brittany stopped as well and sat next to him tiredly.

Quentin panted unhappily it was cold in the desert at night but it would be hot in the morning. “Oh how I will dread the morning! I'm thirsty too! I want Mom and Dad!” Quentin cried out hugging his knees.

Brittany whined as well and walked over to where Rosemary laid and sniffed her pockets grabbing something in her jaws and put it in front of Quentin. Quentin picked up the piece of paper and read it. It was notes for the Ocarina! “This is the song that teleported us here!” Quentin whispered amazed. He dug in the pocket that was in his sleeve and pulled out a dark blue Ocarina. Everyone in the family had an Ocarina and knew how to play like an expert but only Rachal's Ocarina had any magical abilities.

Quentin sighed unhappily but relived that there was a way out of this world,” Well at long as we have the song there's hope that we will get home but I really want to find Mom and Dad as soon as we can but we're stuck in this stupid desert!”

Brittany whined and looked around looking for someone. Suddenly it hit him. “Star! Star has been missing! I hope she is okay!” Quentin gasped. Brittany threw back her head and let out a sad howl.
