Maric walked in to the campsite and saw that Rachal was deeply asleep. Maric sighed and took one of the small brown bags that were on Rachal's belt and walked back to where Naruto and Sasuke were waiting for him. Rachal he knew could take care of herself and would wake up if she sensed danger. Rachal was tired and need to rest but by tomorrow she would feel back to her normal self. (If you can call anything normal!)

Maric walked up to Sasuke and Naruto and smiled while digging into the small bag for something. “What are you looking for Maric?” asked Naruto looking over Maric's shoulder looking at the small bag that he recognized to be one of the three that Rachal had tied to her belt. “Here it is.” Said Maric bringing out a small blue leaf that had a green streak across it.

“A leaf? What's that supposed to do?” asked Sasuke. “Well when you see Kakashi crumble this into his water. It'll make him feel as good as new when he drinks it.” Maric replied. “Cool.” Said Naruto happily. Sasuke nodded in agreement. “Well I'll see you tomorrow night then.” Said Maric walking back toward the camp away from the village that Naruto and Sasuke continued to walk back to.

Shikamaru walked slowly and lazily back toward his house when he heard a shout from behind him. `Heh it's Naruto and Sasuke wondered when they'd get back. Wonder what they want. It's probably something troublesome.' Shikamaru thought to himself. Naruto and Sasuke had sunken back into the village and saw that Shikamaru had made little progress in getting back to his house and didn't seem to be in any great hurry.

Naruto and Sasuke had caught up with Shikamaru panting. “What took you guys so long huh?” asked Shikamaru. Naruto and Sasuke grabbed Shikamaru and pulled him into a nearby ally. “What's your deal?” asked Shikamaru. After Sasuke made sure that no one was around to over hear them he said,” Listen to me Shikamaru we took so long to get because we talked to Rachal and Maric a little longer because they asked for our help.” Shikamaru was surprised and wanted to know why the two strange kids would need help from Sasuke and Naruto. Shikamaru then said,” Well? What of it?”

Naruto and Sasuke then told Shikamaru all of what Rachal and Maric had told them. Naruto then asked,” Shikamaru are you going to help or not?” Shikamaru thought to himself,' Why must they be so persistent why can't I just have a normal life? Well I guess I should help. This will still be such a drag!' Shikamaru finally nodded and said,” Yeah I guess I'll help I'll go pack and meet you where?” Naruto thought for a while then said,” Why don't we meet at my house? One hour till midnight that will give us time to meet up with Rachal and Maric and get organized, right?” Sasuke then said,” Good idea and we should sleep during the day so we will be able to run the whole night.” “Yeah I'll meet you then and you might not want to be around the Hokage when she figures out that Rachal has disappeared and that you and Sasuke weren't exactly doing your jobs. Well let's say I don't want to be you.” Sasuke then said,” So we know who is all coming lets meet back he in half an hour okay?” Sasuke, Shikamaru, and Naruto nodded as they left the ally like nothing happened.

Sasuke looked over to Naruto and whispered,” I'm going to go tell Sakura why don't you go tell Hinata?” Naruto nodded and Sasuke left quickly to find Sakura. Naruto took a few steps toward to where he knew the Hyuga complex was when he stopped. Naruto felt a powerful jerk on his heart when he thought,' What if Hinata dies…Dies!' Naruto froze and looked down and thought,' Dang it! You have to tell her that you're leaving she has to know.' He then heard the fox laughing loudly but he couldn't get the fox to tell him a thing, but the fox had said before that he liked the idea of Naruto helping the half demon and elf.

Naruto then thought,' Why do I feel like this? Sure I got mad at the thought of my friends getting hurt but thinking about Hinata getting hurts like a thousand kuni piercing my heart.' Naruto finally sighed and walked toward the Hyuga complex but his feet felt like lead. Naruto and almost made it to the Hyuga complex when he saw the guards and knew he would have to sneak inside and try to find Hinata. Naruto scaled the wall making sure no one saw him and saw that he was above the garden and below him in the middle of the garden sat Hinata on a bench.

Hinata looked at the moon that was not in its full form and had a pure glow. `I wonder what Naruto is doing?' Hinata thought with a blush rising to her face. `I-I don't think he knows this but I would follow him from this world to the next but… I'm afraid what if he doesn't want me? He likes Sakura not me… If I could get myself to tell how I feel would he push me away?' Hinata thoughts were interrupted when she heard someone whisper,” Hey Hinata.”

Hinata turned to see Naruto standing next to her. Hinata stuttered having a blush on her face spread,” N-Naruto what are you doing here? What's going on?” Naruto sighed and sat down next to Hinata making her blush even deeper but he didn't see it because it was dark which Hinata was very grateful for and said,” Hinata, Sasuke and I didn't leave right away when you guys left. We talked to Maric and Rachal for awhile and they asked for our help.” Hinata listened as Naruto and told her all of what Rachal and Maric had told him and Sasuke. Naruto finished,” The people that are coming so far is Sasuke, Shikamaru, and me. Sasuke is asking Sakura to come right now and well if you want to come you can.”

Naruto was battling inside one part him wanted her to come and the other part didn't want her to come because she didn't want her to get hurt. Hinata looked at Naruto's worried eyes and thought,' He's asking me to go. He could die! I could die! I have to go and maybe if I do this Father will realize that I'm not worthless and maybe Naruto will realize that too. The feelings I have for him maybe I could learn to tell him if I go with him.'

Hinata nodded still with a deep red blush on her face and said,” I'll c-come Naruto. I w-want to come with you.” Naruto nodded but he felt his heart jump and also had a bad feeling his gut. Naruto then said,” A-all right you better be careful in what you pack and sleep during the day come to my house an hour before midnight alright? We have to go meet with Sasuke in a little while too.” Naruto then stood up and stretched when Hinata said,” D-do you think we should b-bring Neji too?”

Naruto looked over at Hinata from the corner of his eye and asked,” Do you think and want him to come?” Hinata sighed and said,” W-Well he would be a great help wouldn't he? I mean he's a lot friendlier now and I-I think we can trust him.” Naruto nodded and said,” Then lets go give Neji and visit!”

Naruto and Hinata snuck to where Neji's rooms were and knocked quietly on the door hoping to wake Neji.

Neji was not asleep even though it was near the middle of the night and was studying a few scrolls. Neji looked up at the sound of the knock and rose not bothering to use his Byakugan to see whom it was and opened the door. Neji opened the door to be surprised to see that Naruto and Hinata were outside his door he was about to ask what they were doing there when Naruto put a finger to his own lips telling Neji to be quiet. Neji moved aside so Naruto and Hinata could enter and asked,” What are you two doing here. What is going on?”

Naruto explained the whole situation and Neji asked,” So you want me to come along with you guys? You, Hinata, Sasuke, Sakura, and Shikamaru and these two strange kids?” Naruto grinned and said,” Yup! So do you think you'll come?” Neji frowned and said,” I would but because of myself being part of the branch family. The curse seal will kill me if they think I went to be a missing ninja.”

Naruto, Neji, and Hinata went deep in to thought to try and find away around the curse seal. Naruto groaned and feel to the floor saying,” I can't think of anything! I'm getting a headache!” “N-neither can I.” Said Hinata. Both turned to Neji but he shook his head negatively. Neji sighed and said,” We need to tell the Hokage.” Naruto almost yelled but stopped himself saying,” What! Why?”

“Think about it if we leave for as long as you say and no one knows where we went we would be branded as missing ninjas.” Neji said keeping calm. “Alright then lets all go and find Sasuke and Sakura and Shikamaru and tell them.” Naruto said quietly. With that the three silently left the Hyuga complex being careful not to be seen.

Sasuke was walking toward Sakura's house and looked up to see the light in Sakura's room was still on. Sasuke jumped on to the windowsill and knock quietly. Sakura was brushing her hair about to go to the shower when she heard a knock on her window. Sakura moved her curtains to see Sasuke crouching on her windowsill. Sasuke motioned for Sakura to open the window, which she did quickly her heart pumping thinking that Sasuke was going to tell her he loved her or something.

Sasuke sighed and sat down on Sakura's bed saying,” Sakura… Naruto and I didn't come right way after you left to go back to the village. We talked to Rachal and Maric for a while and they asked for our help.” Sakura looked at him surprised as he continued to tell her all what Maric and Rachal told him. Sasuke then finished saying,” So far Naruto, Shikamaru, and I are coming for sure. Naruto went to ask Hinata if she would come. Do you think you want to come?” Sakura thought to herself,' this is bad how could I help? But Sasuke is asking me I love him and I won't let him die!' Sakura nodded and said,” I'll come Sasuke.” Sasuke smiled and said,” Good. We should go find Naruto. When we're do talking with him you should start to pack and be careful that no one sees you pack. Now lets go.”

With that they snuck out of the house to go to the alley where Sasuke and Naruto talked to Shikamaru. Shikamaru was there asleep next to the wall. Sakura sighed and poked him when she saw Shikamaru's eyes twitch. “Shikamaru you faker!” mumbled Sakura. Shikamaru sat up and yawned and said tiredly,” So you're coming Sakura. Well on all we have to do is wait for Naruto to get back.”

As if on cue Naruto, Hinata, and Neji came in to the alley. “Alright so the people that are for sure coming are Sakura, Neji, Hinata, Shikamaru, Naruto and I.” Said Sasuke. “Sasuke we need to tell the Hokage.” Said Naruto looking over at Sasuke. Sasuke looking surprised and said,” Why?”

“I know. If we leave with out telling the Hokage we could be branded missing ninjas.” Said Shikamaru with a frown. “I don't think the Hokage will believe us though.” Said Sakura sadly. “Unless we get Rachal and Maric to talk to the Hokage face to face.” Said Sasuke. “Let's go tell them then.” Said Naruto.

The gang stopped at the wall on the inside of the wall. Naruto then said,” I'll go alone and get them there's no reason that we should all go.” Really Naruto wanted to talk to Maric some more because he seemed a lot like himself. Neji wanted to see the kids himself but let Naruto go alone knowing he would meet them eventually. “Alright but hurry up.” Said Sasuke. With that Naruto jumped up the wall and disappeared over it.
