Gaara, Rosemary, Quentin, Star, and Brittany walked through the desert toward Sunagakure. Gaara was silent as they walked Star and Brittany ahead of them keeping a look out. Rosemary was talking about something called the Ocarina of Time and Quentin was ignoring her completely as he seemed deep in thought. Gaara was deep in his own thoughts as well. Both Gaara and Quentin igroned Rosemary's constant talking. Rosemary was walking on one side of Gaara and Quentin was walking on the other side.

“I wish we had the Ocarina of Time that way we could find mom and dad without a sweat.” Rosemary complained for the 5th time. Quentin twitched in annoyance and growled,” Rosemary be quite you're worst than dad when he got pushed into the hotspring in his clothes by Star.” Rosemary burst out laughing remembering the incident that had happened right before she had met her new dad. Gaara didn't think much about it so he didn't say anything but he could of swore he saw the dog Star smirk.

Rosemary because of her laughing was causing her to stumble. “Whoops!” Rosemary exclaimed as she started to fall. Out of instinct Rosemary grabbed Gaara's hand to keep herself from falling. Gaara was stunned when the girl grabbed his hand but the thing was was that the sand didn't do anything and the girl grabbed right threw his sand armor and gripped his actual skin on his hand like the sand wanted Gaara to feel the girl's touch.

Gaara stared at the girl as she stared at at his hand and the sand that had moved at her touch. Quentin was watching and finally said,” That was intresting. The sand is like a second skin. And I thought Mr. Barren had a sandy coat.” Gaara looked at him in confusion then looked back at his hand. Rosemary asked nervously,” Did I do something wrong Gaara?”

Gaara whispered,” You didn't do anythimg wrong it's just that not many people have been able to touch me.” Quentin asked in pure confusion,” Why is that?” Gaara told them all about the way of his sand and even a little bit about his past but not enough to scare the half demon kids. Gaara and rest kept walking Gaara commented once that the village was a few hours away.

Gaara was deep in thought about the kids and realized that the kids did not have one thought about hurting him that's why the sand let Rosemary touch him Gaara smiled at that. Rosemary was currently running around the group chasing Star and Brittany who yipped and barked playfully at her eventualy Quentin joined the game.

Gaara looked ahead and saw that Sunagakure was only about ten minutes head and was coming in to sight. Gaara called out to the kids and said,” Alright I'm going to move us into the village without anyone seeing us you need to hold onto me.” The kids nodded and Quentin untied his sash that was around his waist. (Remember it is a long as Maric sash only blue so it is really long!)

Quentin cut the sash in three pieces Quentin tied on piece back around his waist making him look like he did before. Quentin tied the other pieces around Star and Brittany's necks as a temerary callor. Quentin grabbed Brittany's callor and Rosemary grabbed Star's callor each child then grabbed one of Gaara's hands. Gaara was surprised when Quentin could touch him as well but when he was about to ask Gaara just nodded his head telling him not to worry. Gaara nodded sure that he could transport all five of them to his house. With a swirl of sand he moved them all into Sunagakure with out anyone seeing them.

Gaara appeared in the doorway of the house and took off his shoes not wanting to get yelled at by Temari he was about to tell the childern to take off their shoes only to see they didn't wear any. Both kids looked a little dizzy because of the transportation. Gaara then lead the kids and dogs in to the living room which was large and had a TV, and two couches with a large coffee table on the coffee table was Karasu or Crow next to some polish that Kankuro used on his puppets joints.

Rosemary and Quentin looked at the puppet but the look Gaara gave them told them to not touch it. Rosemary and Quentin walked over to one of the couches and sat on it as Star and Brittany layed at their feet. Rosemary was bouncing with excitement as Quentin looked around the room with curiousity.

Gaara feeling a little annoyed walked to the beginning of another hallway leading to his siblings rooms. “Temari! Kankuro! Come out here I'm back.” Gaara called down. Loud noises that sounded like someone falling was heard and muttered curses. Gaara called down again wanting to get his siblings to hurry up called, “I brought some guests.” All noise stoped and then the a door slamed open.

Temari shot her head out of the door and Kankuro shot his head out of his room Temari looked like she was about to tear something apart and Kankuro looked like he was getting out some of his puppets. Gaara sighed turning back he saw that Quentin and Rosemary were gone. Gaara realized the kids had jumped behind the couch and left the dogs behind.

Temari and Kankuro ran into the room and stared at the dogs who hadn't moved and even seemed to be asleep. Temari and Kankuro sweat dropped and asked,” Why are there dogs in our house? Is this all you called us for?” Gaara shook his head and called,” Stop hiding already.”

Rosemary's and Quentin's heads popped out from behind the couch. “Ahh!” yelled both Temari and Kankuro falling backwards. “W-what are you??” yelled Kankuro trying to get his breathing back to normal. “Well I'm half fox demon and Quentin my brother is half dog demon. Star and Brittany are our dogs.” Rosemary said happily.

Gaara sighed and explained the whole thing making Temari and Kankuro happily excepted the job of going along with Gaara. Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro packed for the long trip and snuck out of Sunagakure at midnight and out in to the desert knowing that the sand ninjas wouldn't come looking for them for several days.

“W-we can't thank you enough for helping us. It's going to be difficult to find my parents by what you said demons are thought of as monsters so my parents will be trying to keep out of sight and their identites secert.” Quentin explained.

“Don't worry we'll help no matter how long it takes. It'll be okay.” Temari comforted trying to comfort the half demon kids. “Yeah don't worry.” Kankuro mummbled reshifting crow on his back. Gaara nodded his head silently telling them to not worry.

“Thanks.” Whispered both kids as the group walked through the desert under the stars.
