Naruto looked up at his ceiling glaring at it, he was board so very very board. The mission didn't start till midnight and it was 8:00 in the morning. No matter what he tried he couldn't sleep and he didn't want to waste the leaf that Rachal and Maric gave him to help him sleep. He knew he needed rest for he would be running all night. He yawned and looked outside his window and saw the sun glaring back at him.

 

“Kit stop your complaining it's annoying! Just wait till tonight for the elf and the half demon.” Growled Kyuubi. `They do have names you supid fur ball.' Naruto retorted. “Yeah what ever it's not like they are more powerful than me or anything.” Snorted Kyuubi.

 

`That reminds me what do you know of a dog demon named Tirushu?' Naruto asked thinking back on what Rachal had told him the night before. `Tirushu!' yelled Kyuubi. Naruto surprised by Kyuubi's shout fell off his bed. Kyuubi demanding answers yelled,' What do you know about Tirushu?!' Naruto confused asked.' What how do you know Tirushu?'

 

Kyuubi growled,' I knew him many years ago. He just appeared out of nowhere and said he was from another world. He became friends to all of the tailed demons including myself, he also won all of our respect, but one day he just dissapeared. All of us searched for him but he was gone with out a trace.” Naruto nodded and decided to tell Kyuubi that he had only heard Rachal and Maric talking about him.

 

Kyuubi sighed,' Well whats done is done, I only wish that I could know where he dissapeared to.' Naruto nodded and just then he thought of something,' I need talk to Iruka!' Naruto stood up and walked out of his apartment and walked down the street looking for Iruka's home. Naruto finally found the small house and knocked on the door waiting for Iruka to answer.

 

With Iruka

 

Iruka was sitting in his house reading a map of the country that was updated and was curently relaxing for the frist time for awhile because it was the weekend and he didn't have to teach at the academy. `Knock knock.' Iruka looked up at the sound of someone at the door in surprise and thought,' Who could it be at this time in the morning on a weekend?'

 

It was the last person Iruka had expected to see at the door, Naruto. “Hey Iruka how you doin?” Naruto asked with his fox like grin plastered on his face. “Hello Naruto. I didn't expect to see today, how are you doing?” Asked Iruka glad that Naruto seemed in a good mood.

 

Naruto grinned and said,” Well I'm leaving tonight on a mission and I just wanted to say good bye to you before I forgot.” Iruka looked surprised and asked,” What is the mission about?” Naruto shook his head and replied,” I can't tell you it's a secret.”

 

“Aww too bad, well lets have an early lunch or late breckfast. I'll treat you to ramen alright?” asked Iruka. “Alright ramen!” shouted Naruto happily. Iruka laughed and said,” Well is there anything I can do to help you with your mission Naruto?” Naruto thought for a second then said,” Well do you have a map with Sunagakure and the Sound village on it?” Naruto regreted saying as soon as he said it seeing the worried look on Iruka's face.

 

Iruka asked worriedly,” Naruto please tell me your not going on a mission that might make you have a run in with Orochimaru.” Naruto scratched the back of his head saddly and said,” Iruka don't worry about me I'll be fine Tenten, Neji, Lee, and the whole rookie nine and Kakashi are coming. Also two very powerful people are coming too.”

 

Iruka's worry didn't dissappear and said,” Naruto you really shouldn't go on this mission.” Naruto shook his head stubbornly and said,” Iruka I have to do this mission.” Iruka sighed in defeat and said,” Wait here then.” Iruka walked back into his house and brought out the map he was looking at before, the map also had the moon cycle on it but he forgot about it. Iruka explained,” Naruto take this with you it's the map you wanted.”

 

Naruto nodded thankfully,” Iruka I'll make you a promise. If I have any chance to come back after this mission I'll come back.” Before Iruka could say anything Naruto ran into the crowed street. Iruka looked sadly after Naruto and thought to himself,' Please be safe Naruto.' Iruka then turned to go back into his house when he heard some one behind him.

 

“Don't worry Iruka everything will be fine I'll see to it myself.” Said Kakashi leaning against Iruka's house reading his book. Iruka nodded and said,” When will the mission be starting?” “At midnight and Iruka don't tell anyone else about the mission because it's suppoused to be kept a secret and thought of as a simple mission.” Kakashi continued.

 

Iruka sighed and nodded he knew he would regert emptying his wallet but said,” Why don't you tell the whole rookie nine and everyone that is going on the mission to come to the Ramen bar for dinner at 7:00 I'll buy.” Kakashi nodded and dissappeared in a poof of smoke.

 

Naruto ran through the crowd and ignored the glares he got for pushing his way through. Naruto pulled his way out of the crowd to his front door. He walked into his door to see that the door was unlocked and thought for sure that he had locked it. Naruto walked into the kitchen to see that Kakashi was sitting in one of the chairs. “Hey what are you doing here Kakashi?” asked Naruto happily.

 

“Well Iruka is inviting everyone that's going on the mission to eat at the Ramen bar his treat at 7:00.” Kakashi replied not looking up from his book. Just then two voices came from the living room and called,” Hey can we join you?”

 

Both turned quickly to see Rachal and Maric standing in the living room with their cloaks on but the hoods down. Naruto jumped over to them and yelled,” How did you get in here and it's broad daylight are you crazy?”

 

Rachal chuckled and joked,” You forgot to lock the window… again… and the last time I checked I was quite sane.” Maric smirked at the last comment. Naruto frowned and said,” Well I guess you can come with your coaks on of course. Iruka did say he was inviting everyone that was going on the mission.”

 

“Yes now I'll be going I need to take a nap and pack for the mission.” Said Kakashi before he dissapperared in a poof of smoke. Naruto looked at the clock and saw it was 2:00. Rachal put a hand on Naruto's shoulder and said,” Naruto you need to go to sleep the leaf will make you sleep till 7:00 and we'll still be here.”

 

Naruto looked like he was about to argue when Maric growled,” Naruto… GO TO BED!!” Naruto didn't give Maric time to continue when Naruto rushed out of the room into his bedroom and did as he was ordered.

 

At 7:00

 

Naruto awoke hearing two voices coming from the living room he turned and looked at the clock and saw it was 7:00. Naruto jumped out of the bed and ran out of the bedroom into the living room. He was greeted by the sight of seeing Rachal and Maric sitting on the couch both reading some history books that Iruka had given to him when he was at the acadamey.

 

Rachal looked up from having her nose burried in the book she was reading at Naruto and asked,” How did you sleep?” Naruto sighed and said,” Why are you reading?” Rachal shrugged her shoulders and said,” I just wanted to know some more information on this world for later.” Maric nodded and put his book down as did Rachal with hers. Naruto nodded and said excitiedly,” Well we should be going to the ramen bar right now or Choji will eat all of it before we get there.”

 

Rachal and Maric nodded and put up their hoods and made their way to the door with Naruto in tow. Rachal, Naruto, and Maric walked through the streets of Konoha toward the ramen bar most people didn't give the two cloaked figures a second glance but many people glared at Naruto but he igroned them.

 

They saw the gang at the ramen bar and Naruto waved at them yelling,” Hey guys! Guess who's joining us.” The gang looked surprised at Rachal and Maric who only shrugged their shoulders and took the seats as far away as they could from Iruka not wanting to be questioned.

 

Iruka thankfully didn't notice everyone ordered and Naruto ordered for Rachal and Maric. Everyone talked happily and watched in amazment as Choji and Naruto had a ramen eating conest. Sakura finally asked,” Where does it all go?” Sasuke just shook his head and said,” I don't want to know.” Everyone laughed at that but Naruto and Choji who didn't hear the comment over the slurping of their noodles.

 

It was soon 9:00 and Rachal and Maric stood up looking up the street at something they couldn't see. Rachal leaned down and whispered in Nauto's ear,” Naruto there's something in the air I don't like. Be careful Maric and I are going to try and find out what's going on.”

 

Naruto looked up at her surprisied but he wasn't allowed to say anything when Rachal said to Iruka and the rest of the gang,” We thank you for the meal Iruka but we need to check something out.” With that Rachal and Maric walked out of the resterunt and dissapeared into the street.

 

With Zetsu

 

Zetsu walked down the street in the shadows listening for anything that could lead to the girl he was searching for. Suddenly he felt like he was being watched. Zetsu stopped and looked around but didn't see anyone around not even a stray cat or dog. `It's too quite.' Thought Zetsu.

 

Rachal and Maric looked down from the roof tops at the strange man below them. Maric tapped Rachal's shoulder and pointed toward the red clouds on the cloak the man was wearing. Rachal's eyes widen as she remembered what the Hokage had told them before about the members of Atatsuki's apperance.

 

Rachal pointed toward the ramen bar and nodded. The two raced across the roof tops running toward the ramen bar to tell Naruto and the gang they had to go now! Zetsu heard the sound of movement but again didn't see anything. Zetsu decided to sneak into the Hokage's tower and see if there were any reports about the girl in their files.

 

At the Ramen Bar

 

Everyone was talking happily when Rachal and Maric appeared before them. Maric said calmly,” We need to leave… NOW!!” Everyone jumped from their seats knowing something was not right. Iruka looked around confused and said,” What's going on?” Maric said quickly,” We are starting the mission now. Go get your stuff and meet us at Naruto's house.” With that everyone ran off in different directions leaving a stumped Iruka with the bill.

 

At Naruto's

 

Maric, Rachal, and Naruto ran into the house and sat on the couch gasping for breath. Finally Naruto shouted,” What the heck was that about?” Rachal took a deep breath and said,” We saw an Atatsuki member. He well… looked like a plant man. That's the best I can discribe him.”

 

Naruto looked at them confused then finally said,” Well at least it wasn't Itachi he's Sasuke's older brother.” Maric nodded and Rachal walked over to the window closeing its blinds.

 

A few minutes later a knock on the door alerted them of someone at the door Naruto looked through the peep hole to see Sasuke standing outside the door. Sasuke had two bags on his back one was a backpack that had all of Sasuke's needs, cloths, weapons, food and ect. The other pack was smaller and seemed to be in a more secure.

 

Naruto opened the door and let in Sasuke who nodded to Rachal and Maric who nodded back. Naruto poked the bag that was smaller and said,” What'd you got there Sasuke?”

 

Sasuke sighed and opened the bag showing a VERY LARGE amount of money in the bag and some old scrolls. Sasuke explianed,” I thought that I should bring all the money from the Uchiha compound incase we have to buy suppiles or something these are also all the scrolls that belong to the Uchiha Clan that way if we go to your world I can keep them and they won't fall in the wrong hands.”

 

“Good idea.” Remarked Kakashi poofing into the house with his own backpack. “Kakashi!” shouted both Naruto and Sasuke in surprise. There was another knock on the door Naruto answered it and saw it was the rest of the gang. After everyone got into the house Maric explianed why they had left in a hurry saying that they had seen a ninja that was from a group that was after demons.

 

Kakashi realized what the true meaning was behind what Maric said and didn't say anything but gave them an nod telling them that he knew. Rachal then said,” Alright if evereyone has everything let's get going.” Everyone walked out the door Naruto remebered to lock the windows and doors for once and the gang went silently through Konoha jumped the wall and dissappeared into the forest.

 

No one said a word the whole time as they jumped from tree to tree through the whole night Rachal and Maric lead the way making sure they were going the right why by asking Kakashi to check the map from Iruka from time to time. They traveled till they saw that dawn was almost on them.

 

Maric signaled for a stop they were at least a hundered miles from Konoha so this was the place they were going to stop it was a large clearing surrunded by thick trees that would give great protection. Maric turned to everyone and said,” This is where we'll stop we'll travel during the night and rest during the day. Alright?”

 

Everyone nodded they were exhuasted Rachal and Maric jumped into a large tree and took out three blankets Rachal threw one blanket over a branch making a makeshift tent and then laid another blanket inside the tent and set another on top of the blanket making a sleeping bag like design. Everyone else set up their own tents but they set up actual sleeping bags, one tent for the boys and one tent for the girls.

 

Rachal and Maric seemed to be the least tired of the group so they were the first to keep watch Sasuke and Naruto also were going to keep watch with them pretending that they weren't exhausted.

 

After everyone had fallen asleep in their tents Maric and Rachal stood up from their spots next to the small fire they had made and said to Naruto and Sasuke who were also sitting next to the fire,” Okay! Get off your butts and get ready.”

Naruto and Sasuke looked at them confused and asked in unision,” What for?”

Maric and Rachal grinned evilly and said together,” A spar and some training!”

Naruto and Sasuke automaticlly felt their spirits drop and had a feeling in their gut that told them to get ready for pain.
