You kept on walking but when you reached him you slowed down. "The hokage monument. Nice prank." You whispered.

 

 

"Aren't you coming to my house?" Shikamaru asked.

 

 

"Nah. Found an apartment and bought it for a reasonable price."

 

 

"Oh." He said slightly disappointed.

 

 

"What's the matter?"

 

 

"You never told me your clan name and I just thought we were best friends."

 

 

You stopped. "Were? What do you mean were?" You got slightly hurt.

 

 

"I mean you are my best friend just..."He pondered for a moment. "You can't tell me anything."

 

 

You stared not ready to say you're an Uchiha. 'If I tell him he might treat me differently. After all, I'm the only Uchiha in the village.' "I can't tell you. It'll effect our relationship." You stated hesitantly.

 

 

"Wanna come to my house to get your stuff now or later?"

 

 

You thought and smiled signaling you wanted to go now. He returned the smile.

 

 

 

[At Shikas House]

 

 

You started to get your very small amount of possessions.

 

 

"Would you come to my house?"You asked.

 

 

"Umm..Sure.I was planning to go anyways. Why'd ya ask?"

 

 

You stared."Just to make sure."You said.

 

 

"Well looks like tomorrows the exams."

 

 

"Yep."

 

 

"Are you excited?"

"That's what you get for not listening!" Shikamaru said laughing but you could tell he was disappointed.

 

 

You looked outside and saw a beautiful sunset and stared in awe. "I think it's 'bout time you head home." You said like a Sasuke clone.

 

 

"Your mad because I outsmarted you! I am the smarter one after all!" He said getting a

little cocky.

 

 

'Just ignore his cocky ass.' You thought to yourself.

 

 

"How'd you get this house anyways?" Shika asked you.

 

 

"Hokage." You said lazily not really caring.

 

 

"Sasuke clone." This caught your attention.

 

 

"What. Did. You. Say?" You asked through gritted teeth.

 

 

"I said you're a Sasuke clone."

 

 

"I'LL NEVER BE LIKE HIM! HE ISN'T EVEN IN MY CLAN!"

 

 

"You know you're both are like twins." He said smirking.

 

 

You looked outside trying to calm down. You looked at the beautiful sunset but thought nothing of it.

 

 

"It's bout time you got home." You said not looking at him.

 

 

"You're mad."

 

 

You still looked at the sunset.

 

 

"Get. Out." You said.

 

 

 

 

"Fine then! EVEN AFTER MY FAMILY TOOK YOU IN AND TOOK CARE OF YOU! I'll LEAVE! IT'S PROBABLY YOUR FAULT THAT YOUR WHOLE CLAN IS DEAD DAMNIT!"

 

 

Yours and his eyes widened at what he said. He slapped his mouth shut. You were in tears.

 

 

"You. Don't. Know. Shit." You said emotionlessly. Your eyes were worse then jet black. "YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT HOW MY PARENTS DIED YOU BASTARD! YOU DON'T FUCKIN KNOW HOW MY WHOLE CLAN DIED! YOU CAN JUST BURN IN HELL! I DON'T GIVE A DAMN! SO JUST GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOUSE! NOW!"

 

 

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." He gave you an apologetic smile and walked out.

 

 

You just kept having flashbacks of that night.

You heard something hit the floor; you grabbed your kunai and saw your mom's carcass. Your eyes widened in horror. You ran past it tears in your eyes. You ran towards your babysitters house to warn him but you were too late.

 

 

"N-N-Ni-san. What are you doing?" You saw your best friend stutter.

 

 

"Exactly what you see."

 

 

Your eyes grew bigger as you witnessed pure, bloody murder. You stopped as you watched one of your favorite people: Your friend and babysitter knock out your best friend.

 

 

"Looks like I forgot about you, little Mizu"-

You slammed your alarm clock to the ground and walked towards the bathroom still warm, with your heart beating fast and puffy eyed from crying in your sleep. You brushed your teeth and did your daily routine. You went in the shower and let out a soft sigh as the hot water hit your bare body. You finished your shower and walked towards the academy. You were about to sit next to Shikamaru and remembered the fight. As you walked away you heard a disappointed sigh.

 

 

You thought it was from Naruto because he was just pushed down by Sakura. So of course she could sit next to 'prince charming'. You decided to show her how it felt when you get cast aside. You wanted to because you felt a bond with Naruto. Not sure if it was rivalry or a strong friendship but a bond none the less.

 

 

You walked over to Sakura and obviously she didn't notice you. "That girl, I hear she's an orphan. She might as well be a Naruto clone, unlike you of course. She must have been annoying after all she did mimic you. I would've be-"

 

 

"Shut the hell up." You said in monotone. "I'm tired of hearing you talk, but now you talk about me. I wouldn't talk about an Uchiha" You said the last part really softly so no one

heard.

 

 

"What are you talking about?" She said annoyed that you were taking away Sasuke Time.

 

 

You pushed her harder than she pushed Naruto. "And pay attention t the people that are in front of you." You said looking at Sakura but pointing at Naruto.

 

 

You took your seat next to Sasuke. He looked at you and mumbled something you couldn't hear.

 

 

"Hn." Was your answer.

 

 

"Are you mocking me again?" He asked annoyed.

 

 

"No." You answered plainly. "Save my seat from fan boys and girls. He looked at you in confusion. You looked at the boys with hearts in their eyes gesturing you to come over. You looked at Sasuke and he nodded.

 

 

"Ino move." You said in monotone again. You always tried to use as little words as possible. 'Why waste my breath?' You always thought.

 

 

"Why should I!" Ino yelled back.

 

 

"'Cause I said so." You shoved her out of the way.

 

 

"Sorry." You both said at the same time.

 

 

Shikamaru had more expression though. He looked in your eyes noticing they're still impossible to read, no emotion what so ever.

 

 

"You took care of me and shouldn't have kicked you out." You sensed Ino listening and gave her a soft shove, signaling her to leave. "Nosey brat." You said, but had afeeling you might like this girl.

 

 

"And you aren't?"

 

 

"No I'm not." You walked back and to Sasuke's annoyance the girls were bugging him.

 

 

"I sit here."

 

 

Sakura glared at you. "We don't have assigned seats ya know." You stared with your black eyes.

 

 

"I know but I like this seat."

 

 

All the girls this time glared at you.

 

 

"Other girls want to sit next too Sasuke ya know. After all, he's So dreamy." One girl gushed.

 

 

"Yeah. Why don't you sit next to one of your fan boys?" Another girl said.

 

"Don't feel like it." You said bluntly.

 

 

"No use arguing with her." The other girls walked away and took their seat.

 

 

"Time for the exams!" Iruka sensei said with a smile. "You are to make three functioning shadow clones. First up Mizu!"

 

 

You stood up and Iruka ushered you to the room.

 

 

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" You shouted.

 

 

You made 3 clones.

 

 

"You pass!" Iruka sensei said smiling.

 

 

You walked by grabbed your head and was about to walk out the door.

 

 

"Shouldn't you be happy?"

 

You stared at him.

 

 

"Hn." Was all you said and then walked out the door.
