Chapter 2

“Now let's try this again.” Ino repeated. Her voice and presence are echoing in his mind. “Who are you? And do be forewarned, you may have to speak it, but here I will be able to tell if you are telling the truth.”

Groaning somewhat in pain, as he struggles once more, to say what he has already repeated. His blue eyes darkening as after a couple of minutes, he words out the name once more. “Uuu..zzz…aaamaki Kkkkaazzz…aaammmma”

“LIAR!” Sakura shouts. Her mind is still aflutter with the name Uzamaki being spoken. Three years ago she had lost one precious friend. She was not going to lose another! Clenching her fist and reaching back to slug him, she is stopped by another who reaches out fast and sure.

“Sakura don't.” Ino states quietly as she came back through her own body. “He is telling the truth. His name is Arashi Uzamaki Kazama.”

Growling in what could be frustration, Sakura allows herself to be pulled away, by the blonde. While the two have a discussion of some sort. Arashi tries his best to watch the girl's reactions. The one who had taken it badly…

Her lips pursed into a tight thin line, her green eyes looking at him in a mixture of hatred, despair, and confusion. Suddenly, although reluctantly, the young woman slides to the floor and begins to cry….

“Wwh…wwwhhat…wrrroong?”

Looking at him with a cool calculated gaze, the blonde decides to respond with a calm gentle voice. “It is nothing you should be concerned with Arashi.” Murmuring something else to the other girl, whose pink hair covered her delicate features, the young woman nodded in agreement to something.

Getting up and leaving the room, the other sits beside him. “Tell me Arashi…tell me more about what you remember. And take it slow.”

“Whheeree…ssshheee….”

Shaking her head and placing her fingers against his lips, the young blonde smiles gently. “It is like I said before. It is none of your concern. Now tell me what you can remember.”

Elsewhere twenty minutes later….

Arriving at the Hokage tower, Sakura nods her head to the two guards who gesture at her to enter. Running now as if in a panic, the pink haired girl catches up to her sensei, as she is about to enter her office.

“Sakura? What is it?” The elder blonde asks confusingly. The dark haired woman beside her, the two wait to give the young woman a chance to speak. “The man he's talking…”

Chuckling a little bit, at her `revelation', the two women smile. “That is to be expected Sakura. Everyone has a voice at some point.” The brunette states calmly.

Glaring at the one, whom is considered her older sister in this apprenticeship, the young woman stands up, with an expression, which is of concern to the two others. It is one of loss…and confusion. “He says his name is Arashi Uzamaki Kazama…” She says slowly.

The brown haired woman looking befuddled at this turn of events, she looks to her companion. Both she and Sakura are stunned as the normally calm decisive woman pales considerably. “Sakura repeat that name one more time….”

“Arashi Uzamaki Kazama.”

Turning around the Fifth, also known as Tsunade, starts barking orders. “Shizune, you get the paperwork going, send a squad of ANBU to the hospital and station them outside his room. Make sure the council does NOT know about this.”

“Hai”

Confused now at this turn of events, the fifth turns to her now. “Sakura, who else knows this?”

“Ino.”

“All right. You come with me, you are not to breathe a word of this to anyone understand me? As of right now, you and Ino are his ONLY caretakers.” Tsunade speaks clearly. Her voice filled with determination.

“What's going on? Just who is this guy in relation to Naruto-chan?”

The blonde smile gently as she looks into the puzzled green eyes of one of her younger apprentices. “Regretfully, I can not say anything until I talk to a certain someone else. But know this much, if he is indeed who he says he is once I and this other person speak with him. Things will be changing drastically…”

“How do you mean Sensei?”

The blonde remains silent, as she and Sakura head back towards the hospital. Lost in thought Tsunade, looks towards the building housing a man, that by all rights….

That by all rights should be dead….

Finally arriving at the hospital, the elder woman notices the ANBU have arrived. Giving orders to the three imposing masked figures in black, she gestures to not only herself, but to Sakura beside her, as well as mentioning Ino to the three of them.

“Allow only myself, Sakura, and Ino into this man's room. No one else…and the council are not to hear of this. Are we clear?”

Giving an imperceptible nod, Tsunade leans forward to whisper something into one of their ears, and although faint, Sakura hears one other name being spoken…one that puzzles her to no end….

What does this man have to do with Naruto's perverted teacher, Jiriaya?

Following her teacher inside, the young woman looks towards the pain filled blue eyes of her patient again with thought. His body occasionally jerking to something, as if pulled by a string, she turns once more to see Ino speaking with Tsunade about something.

Noticing that the time is almost up, the young woman makes the jutsus needed to be done, and although he fights her with a strong will. Eventually she overrides him and he falls back to sleep….

Turning back towards the other two in the room, Sakura is startled by the surprised expression on Ino's features. Apparently, as it now changes to confusion and wonder, her friend and rival sometimes has just received the same news that Sakura had.

That this man will be their only patient for a while…

Watching as their teacher leaves, Sakura looks at Ino, who studies the man thoughtfully….

“Ino…do you have any idea what is going on?”

She watches as the blonde shakes her head. “None…none whatsoever…I do know this….”

“What?”

“The last thing he could remember was the fox…”

“And?”

“Sealing it within his son….” Ino replied softly.
