Silver Dragonfly.... Thank you, it is just a pet peeve of mine, I prefer stories, which have some semblance of realism to them. Or stories, where the people in it feel so real, you have to believe that they are actually doing that. A fair amount of the stories in my favorites list or ones I would highly recommend because a lot of them do that for me.

Rasegan86.... Why doesn't he want to fight the Fourth? Maybe because he believes he surpassed the famous ninja. Giggles... As to the Biju, I ain't going to tell you... Got to leave you something to figure out, you are one of the few who are starting to know me far to well.

By the way I only want a small amount of jutsus. Considering I am not very good at writing action scenes anyhow I don't want to get to risky

EmeraldFoxTears... What does that have to do with anything? Giggles.... Think about it. Sound currently has the contract. Sasami is a Tanaka, Umiko is a Tanaka. Imagine what would happen if the Sound in a battle tries to summon the snakes to fight against the clan that was originally supposed to be the ones they served only?

1. Not really, to me origins of it are not a big deal. I only went into the Uchiha and Kakashi because of what I intend to do later with the Chuunin exams and something else. Tee hee....

Chapter 61

One Month and three days before Chuunin exams, Konoha Village

Naruto was well and thoroughly stuck in a jam. Desperate to participate in the Chuunin exams, the blonde fox was wishing he could find two people who need the promotion as well to participate with him. But of those who were genin most were already in three man teams.

Konahamaru and his friends wanted to make a four man team to allow their boss and adopted big brother in with them. But not only did Ebisu say no, so did Arashi and Tsunade. The reason though was one Naruto could honestly understand...

Because the team would be too overpowered with him in it and they would never really be able to tell if they earned it on their own or if it was simply because Naruto did all the work. The three children and the teenager really didn't like the answer. But it was one that all four of which understood. So Naruto needed to find a team...

Ones whose strength balanced his own quite well....

And even then the blonde needed to find a Jounin who would be willing to sponsor them in the exams. That was covered though by both Kakashi and Yamato. Both stated, that they would nominate him once he was able to find a couple of teammates who were on par or at least close to it.

What a pain!!!

“Naruto!”

Whirling around as he hears a pair of voices calling his name he sees two young women who mean the world to him, Sakura and Hinata. One is one of his closest friends; the other is the love of his life. Happy to see them both, he can't help but grab Hinata and swirl her around before kissing the Hyuuga heiress senseless.

Sakura watching the pair with a little bit of envy smiled as Naruto grabbed her into a hug and kissed her on the cheek lightly. With one arm around her shoulders and the others wrapped around Hinata tightly, the trio was chatting as they walked towards Ichiraku's.

Settling down to order their food, everyone watches with a puzzled expression as Naruto stiffens from something.

You can feel him can't you kid?He's here. Are you going to fight him?

“I don't know...” Naruto replied. “I want him to come home Fox.”

I know brat, the Uchiha means a lot to you...

“He's the first person other then Iruka-sensei I had to courage to call family...” The youth whispered. “I can't lose that Fox.”

He's calling us...

“I know...” Naruto replied quietly. Looking at Sakura who is confused, he whispers his name in her ear. Her green eyes widening as she pales, she nods her head as he asks her to go and get two others. Kakashi and his father....

Hinata puzzled by this, looks into Naruto's troubled eyes, and smiles gently as his gaze implores to her without any words, what is happening. Placing a soft kiss on his lips, the Fox youth smiles and then vanishes.....

Sakura is running as if her life depended on it. Naruto is sharing in the promise that they made that fateful day. That they would both find a way to bring Sasuke back from his self imposed exile....

When he had whispered his name in her ear, she had been terrified that as soon as he said it, he was going to go off and fight him alone. But a part of her believed in her friend, that he would no such thing. He had asked her to go and get Arashi-san and Kakashi-sensei.

With that in mind, the young woman ran past the ANBU guards of the Hokage tower without a second thought. Running up those stairs with a speed she did not know she had she thrust open the door, panting and out of breath...

“Arashi-san.....Sasuke here...Naruto...wants you...and...Kakashi-sensei.”

The older blonde man nodding his head, he runs off with Sakura, as Tsunade sends Shizune to find Kakashi. Getting up herself, she gestures for an ANBU to come with her. Cat nods her head, and moves behind the older blonde who heads towards the jail in the tower.

To find said woman glowing blue....

“So I see you know?” Tsunade says quietly.

“Yes...they are both here...”

“And...”

“They are not alone...”
