A/N: this is an alternate universe of Naruto with a lot of changes in the plot but as well as the outcome of the first season leading into the second, but it will have similar storyline

Naruto Pov:

“Ever since I could remember I have been alone. I was raised with no mother or father and no relatives to rely on; it's always just been me. I remember always playing in the playground with a few kids, but once their parents came and looked at me they immediately dragged their kids away from me leaving me all alone. I use to always think it was me, but it wasn't until later I realized the truth about who or what I truly am…”

Naruto when he is 10

“Today my first day at the Academy, Watch out world here comes the next Hokage!” Naruto exclaimed as he finished eating his breakfast and rushed out of his apartment to attend his first day of classes. From what Naruto knew his class was going to be taught by Iruka-sensai a man who he thought of as his father figure since he acted a lot like a father would; punishing him when he did something wrong, and making it up to him later and teaching him a lot about life as both a ninja and a human being. His class was going to be full of other kids that Naruto hoped would be willing to become his friend and acknowledge him as well as support him to be the best and brightest the Hidden Leaf village had to offer.

A/N: following Naruto's storyline ending up at the first episode

“Damn it, I can't even do a simple transformation Jutsu.” Said Naruto to himself as again his classmates laughed at him for being unable to transform into anything except a miserable failure “I'll show them all one day” he told himself as he then left the classroom again failing to graduate. There he saw his fellow classmates and his crush, Sakura “hey Sakura” shouted Naruto all the way over to Sakura who was currently staring all love struck at Sasuke his rival “What do you want Naruto?” she replied in an annoyed tone “I was wondering if you wanted to go get some ramen later or something..” he said working up the courage to talk to her “Forget it Naruto.” Sakura said quickly snapping back at him, making him feel lower then what he already felt “okay…” said Naruto in a depressed tone as he then walked away hanging his head low. As he was walking away thought he caught the eye of someone he never expected to catch.

Again Naruto sat at the swing near the Academy doors watching as kids met their parents outside, who congratulated their children on passing. One by one the kids came out to their excited parents “come on let's get you something to eat sport” said one parent as he congratulated his soon and another said “Good job I knew you could do it” Naruto just looked at them sadly “Why isn't it fair, that I'm all alone in this world?” A few people looked over at the sulking boy near the swing and commented “isn't he the boy that failed three times already?” “Yeah I hear he's a real screw up” “thank god he isn't my kid.” Naruto over hearing this left before the people had another chance to look back at him.

He walked down the streets of Konoha looking at the floor as he kicked at can around “It's not fair I'm so alone…” he said to himself “tell me about it” he heard a voice reply, Naruto then looked up and said “whose there?” “It's me Naruto” said a cool sounding voice as he appeared out of the shadows “Sasuke!” exclaimed Naruto as he took a semi-defensive stance “What do you want?” Sasuke shrugged him off and replied “it's lonely isn't it being all alone in this world with no one that truly understands you.” Naruto looked at him in disbelief “what would you know you have every last girl drooling over you.” Sasuke once again looked at Naruto and replied “It doesn't matter how many people surround you, you can still feel alone.” For once Naruto actually began to understand Sasuke “It's ironic though you want to be left alone, but I want to be around everyone.” Said Naruto, “this might be a start of a interesting friendship” thought Sasuke.

 

A/N: I know Naruto sounds depressed, but I am going to slowly progress from there
