Naruto Fan Fiction ❯ A Ninja's Obssesion ❯ Chapter 1 ( Chapter 1 )

Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto. Though I'd be a lot richer if I did. And I'd my name on everything.
Sasuke Uchiha's body flew through the air, clashing with Naruto's orange-clad one. I watched from underneath my shaded tree, trying to look like I was doing work.
“Damn it, Sasuke!” Naruto lunged forward into Sasuke's face, and for a fraction of a moment, I thought of that one day in school, the day the kissed. I shook my head. What the hell? I wondered.
“Get out of my face, dumbass!” He sent Naruto in the ground with a simple motion of his hands. I looked on, enthralled, not even bothering to pretend to work.
“Alrighty, kids, that's all for today! See ya tomorrow!” Kakashi-sensei's voice echoed through the training grounds. I stood up, making sure to check Sasuke's position.
“About time! I thought my arms would fall off!”
“Hmmph. How pathetic.” Sasuke drawled. “I guess I'll go train,” He sighed, as though he was to good for things as trivial as training.
“W-well, I'll train harder than you! You just wait, you angsty little brat!” Naruto jumped up, infuriated.
“Hmmph. See ya.” With a half-hearted wave, he left the clearing, in the direction of the bridge.
“I'll show him one of these days!” Naruto scowled. “Hey, Sakura! You wanna train?”
“Maybe another day, Naruto.” I said quietly, looking intently at the ground. I didn't have time for this…
“Okay then! See you tomorrow.” Oddly enough, he was smiling as he walked away from me. Oh well. I had places to be.
Where he was.
“Sakura…?” Kakashi's voice awoke me from my musing. His hand was on my shoulder.
“Y-yes? Sensei?” My voice came out more panicked than I would've liked it to, and me jumping up a couple meters wasn't helping.
“Is everything okay, Sakura?” He seemed rather concerned, strangely.
“Of course, Sensei.”
By the time I found Sasuke, it was already sunset and the bars were starting to open up.
My object of affection was reading a book in a ramen shop, oblivious to any watchers, or in his case, stalkers.
A familiar feeling of warmth passed over me. It was Sasuke, the boy I had devoted my heart, (And free time) too for the past several months. My love. My lust. My obsession.
I was in the next shop over, a bookstore. I took out my binoculars, eager to find out what
“Wha...?” I whispered inaudibly. I never would've guessed… Sasuke didn't seem like that type of boy…
I shook my head. There had to be some sort of reason. In confusion, I turned around.
“Fancy meeting you here, Sakura.” A dark shape entered my aisle of books. I shrank back in fear. This couldn't happen.
I couldn't be found out. This wasn't happening…
“Sakura…?” A tall, silver-haired man crouched down next me. He looked at me, then my binoculars. “Oh. Oh… I think I understand… Now it makes sense.”
“Sensei. Uh…I didn't…” I couldn't look at him.
“Sakura…It's nothing to be ashamed of.” He smiled, or at least I thought it was a smile. Sometimes it was hard to tell. “I can help, love.”
“Kakashi-sensei…Bu-but….” He was my teacher! What happened to teachers being role models?
“Really, if I could've counted the times I stalked a girl- Er, um, anyway, that's a very good way to practice your skills.”
I stared at him. This seemed rather… suspicious, to say the least.
“I can help you, Sakura.” He grabbed my hands. “Don't be afraid.”
“I guess… But how do you know how to stalk people, anyway?” I looked at him, as though if I stared hard enough, I'd understand his mysteries.
“That's a secret, you know. What do you say I give you lessons?” He pulled out an orange book. “And you'll get reading assignments from this, okay?”
“Umm… Okay. Thanks, Sensei.” I was still struggling to absorb the situation. “I guess we could call this…”
“Special kunoichi lessons?” He finished for me.
“Sounds good, Kakashi-sensei.” I flipped through Make-out Paradise nervously. The way he was talking to me made me anxious.
“Sakura…Don't call me Sensei. Just Kakashi is fine.”
“Okay, sense-“ I started laughing.
“Heh. Sakura, why do look so nervous?” I guess he noticed that I was starting to shake.
“I'm just not feeling that good.” I lied calmly.
“Really? Well, I hope you feel better by tonight.” His tone was unreadable.
“And why is that?”
“Because tonight's your first mission, silly.”
“Say what now?”
“Yes… You're going to find out Naruto's sleeping position!”
