Sakura's emerald green eyes shined with excitement as she watched Sasuke lower himself down to one knee at a slow pace. His mind was racing as he was wondering whether or not she would say yes, making him tug his jacket tighter around him as the wind started to pick up.Sakura's eyes started to water as Sasuke grabbed a blue velvet box from his pocket and held it in the air for her to see."Sakura....will...." he paused as he continued to look her way."...marry me?" Slowly tears rolled down her cheeks as she shook her head yes. The ring was a beautiful white gold encrusted with light pink diamonds making everything else blinding except for themselves. The cool touch felt good as it slid down Sakura's fingers making her shake with great intensity as the tears started to roll down once again,which made it very hard to see Sasuke.

Not wanting another moment of silence Sakura quickly tackled him into the soft snow and kissed his lips with a gentle touch hoping that he would kiss back so they could celebrate thier new beginning.Reading her mind Sasuke pushed back soft at first but more fiercly as he continued to kiss her with more passion than ever before.As they continued to kiss the patter of footsteps started to get closer and closer making them both look up with scared expressions upon their faces.Out of the corner of their eyes a blonde little speck appeared which they both knew was Naruto.

"What do you want Naruto?" Sasuke questioned with a monotoned kind of voice. "Aren't you suppose to be with Hinata or something like that?" Sakura and Sasuke quickly got up not wanting to ruin the suprise just yet.

"She went with Neji to go visit their family and try to make up for lost times." Naruto said laying down on the ground. "What are you guys doing here i thought you were going out of town?"

Sakura and Sasuke looked at each other both thinking the samething and not knowing how to share the big news. "Well we were suppose to but we decided to have a nice little Christmas here with ourselves." Sakura replied as she played with the ring behind her back." Okay Naruto...we can't wait to tell you this anymore...we're ENGAGED!!!"

A shocked look appeared on his face as Sakura showed him the ring that was more vibrant then ever. His heart seemed to skip a beat as his feelings for Sakura were still there, and now they were brought back to throw into his face. After a few more seconds he finally replied. " Wow i always knew you two would get married and now it is only a matter of time." Naruto said with a fake smile. "Well i'll see you guys later i am going to call Hinata."

Naruto ran off into the densley covered forest and ran until he couldn't see them anymore. His anger came out as he started to hit everything in his path.~thinking~ Why does he have to go and get everything..he always had the girls and now he even has Sakura! Why i mean he didn't even use to like her he always found her annoyting...His anger raged on until he could no longer feel his body and fell into the huge pile of snow by the one of the trees.

(Back with Sakura and Sasuke)

Their arms locked around each other as they walked out of the park to the streets of New York. " Do you think Naruto was acting a little weird do you think he dosen't like us being engaged?" Sakura questioned as she stopped Sasuke on the side walk.

"I think he was acting weird because he was shocked not because he against it or anything all your doing is worrying about what other people think and you shouldn't be!" he replied as he kissed her gently on the forehead.

With that said he held her close for a couple of minutes then slowly started to walk back to their apartment which was still four blocks away and it was getting later by the second. The cold wind blew with a bit of force as they slowly walked block after block, they held hands as they walked which helped them bare with the cold.

" I can't wait to tell everyone about this...i hope they are excited for us!" she whispered in his ear as she squeezed his hand tighter." I truly do love you and i will always love you!"

Sasuke looked into her dark emerald green eyes and held her head in his hands. " Of course they will be excited...all they want is the best for us and nothing more than that...so stop worrying!!!" he whispered back as he leaned in to give her a kiss.

About ten minutes later they finally reached their apartment and let themselves inside to be met with the ringing of the phone. As quick as she could Sakura reached the phone and answered it and almost dropping it as she set her stuff down on the couch.

"Hello..." Sakura said as she let out a sigh of relief and opened the fridge.

"Hey Sakura its me...Hinata...I was wondering if you have seen or heard from Naruto, because he hasn't called me like he said he would and i am really getting worried about him." she said with a bit of panic in her voice.

"Yeah we have actually me and Sasuke were at the park and we ran into him...then he took off saying that he was going home to call you but i guess he went to go get ramen or something." Sakura said as she shrugged her shoulders." Well...i was going to wait till you got back but i can't wait any longer...Me and Sasuke are engaged!!!"

Sakura heard a long gasp on the other line as she sat there and waited for a reply. " I am so happy for you! I always knew you guys made the best couple it only took a lot longer than we though it would." Hinata said. "Well thanks for telling me about Naruto i'll try calling him again...bye."

A pair of strong tan hands reached around Sakura and pulled her onto the floor making her fall on top of him. Sasuke's eyes sparkled as he relized how lucky he was to have the most wonderful girl in the world who always seemed to understand him.His thoughts went back to when they first started going out and how she looked so beautiful in a light pink dress and a red bow tied in her hair making her face look more appealing then ever before. He still remembered her scent and her smile that always seem to make his day better.Sakura layed her head upon her chest and listened to the beat of his heart.
