Naruto Fan Fiction ❯ Affinity ❯ The beginning..... ( Chapter 1 )
[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]
“Everything happens for a reason.” You once said to me, a long time ago. At the time, I didn’t understand what you were trying to say, but now I do, after everything that’s happened.
I’m writing to you now because until I’ve told this story, my soul can not rest in peace. I believe you are in a better place, watching over me. After all, you were the one that taught me that the soul is eternal.
My story starts on the day you died. Ironic, isn’t it?
I was searching for you in the fields. When I finally found you, you were already the dead. When I saw your corpse, my mind went blank. A mixture of emotions filled me. Sadness, anger, confusion, but most of all hatred.
I went berserk and killed all the villagers, even the innocent ones. But even after killing them, all that I was left with was the emptiness inside of me. I laid there in the bloody fields and watched as the snowflakes fall.
Why is there so much cruelty in such a beautiful world? You didn't derserve to die. You were better than them. We were better than them. Yet our kind was shunned into darkness and forced into hiding!
I laid there in the field of snow and watched as the snowflakes fall. I wanted to die, yet knowing I couldn't. There was one last thing I had to accomplish.
I remember waiting in the snow for days until my savior with crismon eyes came, just like you said he would.
And that was when our story began.
