Chapter 4

 

Naruto's eyes widened in shock “W…what?” “Mom's throwing a fit” Yuki began “She refuses to calm down until she sees her youngest son.” Sake finished. Naruto lowered his gaze “B…but…” `I really don't want to leave Sasuke.' Sake blinked glancing at the Uchiha. “She also wants to meet the person who helped you.” “Sak-” Yuki started but Sake gave him a sharp glare. Naruto looked up “Really?!” Naruto climbed out of bed. “Let's go get Kyuubi, Sasuke!” Sasuke smiled “Alright, alright, let's go.” Sake glanced between them but didn't say anything. When they left Yuki stepped in front of the doorway blocking Sake “Sake…” “I know, he just like Sakuya.” Yuki let Sake walk out the door and followed. `Let's hope nothing bad happens…'

 

Naruto laughed happily jumping through the trees “We're going home!!!” he laughed doing a flip in mid-air, Kyuubi following, yipping happily, keeping easy pace with his master. Sasuke sighed “He's really energetic isn't he?” Yuki chuckled “Its a couple days worth of energy breaking free.” Sake nodded “You should see him in the Wood.” Naruto stopped and looked around “Hmm…. It's right… here?” Yuki landed next to Naruto and locked him in a headlock. “Of course its here.” He replied. Sake dropped next to them Sasuke following. Sake took out a small orb with a 10-pointed star encased in it. “Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Lightning, Ice, Wood, Steel, Darkness, and the glistening Light…” Sake chanted dropping the orb onto the ground. When the Orb hit the ground there was a flash of light and the group dropped to the ground “Where'd the-” Sasuke began looking up, his eyes widened in awe, the trees were now hundreds of feet tall the branches huge and long were about 50 feet above them. “Welcome to River Road, main road to and from the Wood.” Sake said bending down to pick up the Orb. Sasuke looked around in front of him was a long arch of bent trees formed to look like gates, there were children swinging around on them. He felt someone tug his shirt “Sasuke you have to see this!” Naruto said pulling the brunette to the edge of the path “Careful you two.” Sake warned. Sasuke's eyes widened in shock as they neared the edge, he was looking down at Kohona?! Naruto laughed at Sasuke's expression “We live on an island that floats in the sky. “H…how?” “We don't know… it's been here for a while…” Naruto pulled Sasuke from the edge “We use genjustu to disguise it so it looks like a cloud, or the empty sky.” Sasuke looked at the blonde “I think I'm in heaven…” Naruto blinked before laughing “I'm not exactly an angel!” `Yeah right…' Sasuke thought looking the blonde up in down `He screams angel.” Naruto ran up to one of the kids in the tree gate “Hey Kohnoharmaru! How ya been?” A brunette boy wearing a scarf and goggles replied “Fine Naruto-nii-chan! Your mom's throwing a fit!” Naruto sweatdropped “Yahh… I was going to see her…” Naruto pulled Sasuke up “This is Sasuke!” “He looks like Sakuya!” Naruto nodded “I know!” He began pulling the Uchiha down the path “Let's go!” Naruto ran down the path, Sasuke following the blonde in fear of getting lost. Soon they met up with houses running along the road. Naruto walked up to a manor at the end of the road, waving to a few people. He ran past the gates nodding to the guards. Sasuke tried to follow but they stepped in front of him. “Sakuya? What's with your hair?” one asked. “I'm not Sakuya!” Sasuke growled glaring at the guard. “Then who are you?” the other asked suspiciously. “Let him in Genma!” Naruto begged tugging on one of the guard's sleeve. Genma sighed “Fine Naruto-sama.” Naruto grabbed Sasuke's hand pulling him into the grounds. “Sorry `bout that, Genma's Head of the Guardians.” “Who?” Naruto laughed “They look out for people like me!” Sasuke stopped “Ok I want an explanation, now.” They heard a crash. Naruto sighed “Can I take care of that first?” Sasuke nodded. They walked inside.

 

Naruto walked up to a set of double doors. Sasuke heard a woman shouting “Calm down?! CALM DOWN!?!?!?! How am I supposed to calm down when our little boy is out there, and injured at that!?” Naruto sighed opening the doors. Sasuke looked inside; a woman with brown hair with a blue highlight and amazingly blue eyes was shouting at a blonde-haired man with a white highlight who was trying to comfort her “L…look dear, it's Naruto, I'm sure he's fine…” “And how do I KNOW that?! My poor baby!” Sasuke sweatdropped. Naruto walked up to the couple. “Hi okaa-san! Hi jii-jii!” Arashi and Mika Uzumaki looked at Naruto and blinked. “Naruto!!!!” Mika shouted hugging her son “I'm so glad you're alright!!!” Naruto laughed he looked at Sasuke “He helped.” The next thing Sasuke knew Naruto's mother was hugging him chanting “Thank you for helping my son!” Arashi sweatdropped “Mika… how about giving him some air huh?” Mika let the suffocating Uchiha go. Sasuke took a much needed breath of air. “It was no problem at all…” he replied rubbing his throat. Arashi blinked “You looked just like-” “Sakuya, I know.” Sasuke finished grimly. “Did you meet him on River?” They turned around when Mika gasped “Naruto! What happened to your face?!” Naruto lowered his gaze “S…Sakuya…did it…” “What are you talking about? I've been looking for you all this time.” Sasuke and Naruto turned to the doorway, there dressing in a black T-shirt and pants Sakuya stood gazing calmly at Naruto. Said blonde took a step back behind his sometimes scary mother “What is it Naruto?” Mika asked “He was down there…” Naruto said quietly “and he kidnapped Naruto and carved those scars into his cheeks.” Sasuke finished glaring at Sakuya. Arashi shook his head “It couldn't have been Sakuya, he's been out with the other Guardians searching for Naruto day and night, sure he went down to Kohona, but someone was always with him…” “B…but…they looked just like him…” Mika finally spoke up “Don't worry Naruto… we will find out who did this…and when we do…” a glint appeared in her eyes, Naruto ran behind Arashi and everyone else took a step back. “ I will rain death upon their miserable cursed soul!” Mika shouted cracking her knuckles. Sasuke sweatdropped as lighting flashed behind the got-to-be-bipolar woman. “Umm… I'm sure you will dear…” Arashi said slowly. “Women rule the world…” Sakuya muttered sweatdropping. Sasuke and Sakuya looked sharply at Naruto when he began coughing. “Naruto?...!?” Naruto collapsed on the ground covering his mouth that was coughing up black blood. “My God, Naruto!” Arashi shouted kneeling next to his son. Naruto looked up at Sasuke and their eyes met. Sasuke saw only one thing; fear

May10baby- *yawn* Sorry I'm doing this at 1am, when I start something good, I gotta finish it! And you're probably thinking; wouldn't Naruto be in pain? All will be explained in the next chapter.

*Door slams open, Sasuke and Sakuya walk in*
