Naruto Fan Fiction ❯ Akatsuki Geschichten ❯ Chapter 1

It was a warm Thursday afternoon… The sun was slowly rising over the horizon as you were walking through Konoha one morning barefoot, hoping to buy a new pair of ninja sandals. You ran so much in the old pair the soles became weak, and ripped apart with each step you took. Each store had something unique to offer. To you, every style was beautiful, but you weren't concerned with that. You just wanted something that was cheap and long lasting. You walked into a back alley and noticed a shadowy figure looming over a round table. You were a little curious, so you decided to see what it was. On the table were sandals with a small blade at each side heel. The design was smooth, and dark. “Is this for sale?” you asked the conveyor of the stand. The figure nodded slowly. “How much is it?” It grew silent. The shadow then put a pen and a piece of paper onto the table. “Oh, so you take checks?” It waited a moment, but then nodded once more. You picked up the writing utensil and started to write your name. Just as you were about to write, small pins stuck out, causing your fingers to bleed. Bits of red liquid dripped onto the pale sheet. The paper turned into a ball of smoke, and the shadow disappeared. You blinked a few times in confusion. You look down and see the shoes on your feet! You jumped up and down. “Hahaha! Yes! I got some killer sandals!!!” You shouted. You continued your day going shopping for food and weaponry, just as you did every morning. As soon as nighttime came, you started for your long walk home. Other than your cat, you pretty much lived by yourself. You didn't have any parental guidance to help you through the road of life. In fact, you vaguely remember the two people you called mom and dad. Distant relatives told stories of them to you when you were a child. You discovered that they were high class thieves. They stole and slaughtered from the richest residents of Fire country all to support you. Just as some couples before your time, they were very much young, and very much in love. People dubbed them the F5 of Konoha. Rumor says that your father used earth-based jutsus, while your mother supplied the wind. Together they were a terrible force to be reckoned with. Their reign of terror ended abruptly, after they were brutally assassinated by a leader of Hidden Sound Village overnight. You really missed your parents, but being the feisty five year-old you were at the time, you didn't believe a word your ancestors said. You just wanted to enjoy life while you could.

While walking, you discovered that someone appeared to be stalking you while doing your daily errands. In style, thanks to your foot wear. Apparently, you were quite the talk around your village, lately. For what reason, I have no idea. You ignored it the first few times, but you felt very uncomfortable when he/she was following you to your house. Your eyes widened. “Oh, no...” So, you as fast as your “out of shape” body could take you, which was approximately five miles. When you reached your house, just like out of some high-rate horror movie, you dramatically slammed into your front door, frantically getting out your keys, opening it. Shortly afterwards, you entered your pigsty of a house, and thoroughly locked all twenty-three Fort Knox originated locks. Slowly and carefully with the gun in hand, you inched towards your bedroom with shifty eyes. You then kicked off your prized sandals, put on your pajamas, and finally flopped onto your bed, only to be scratched in the face by a pair of horribly un-trimmed claws. “OW!!! WOULD YOU GET OUT OF HERE!!!” You tossed the cat off the bed, hearing one of those high-pitched meows you were used to hearing in cartoons. You ignored any possible wounds that was on your face, and went to sleep. You rested for at least ten seconds, until---
BOOM!!!
CRASH!!!
BANG!!!
It had started to rain. Your eyes jolted open in anger as you began to curse the weatherman for his false predictions of the weather. “Ugh, it was supposed to be clear tonight!” You jumped out of bed, knowing how much you despised thunderstorms— actually you were afraid of them, and headed towards the window. You moved the curtains so you could pound the mess out of it due to what was happening. Just as you began to raise your fist, you glanced up at the figure who was stalking you through the window in the pouring rain. “aaa….Aaaah…… AAAAHHHHHH!!!” You quickly grabbed your trusty firearm and pointed at said person… or thing. You were kind of surprised when it tilted its head to the side. You started to make a gesture so it could understand better. You pointed at your weapon, then at the figure, then making an exploding movement at the end. Just then, he/she pulled out something. “What the--- is that… a spider!?” You stayed in position. “This guy must be crazy…” You thought. Sadly, you weren't paying attention when the person made a hand sign. Just when your mind said, “Forget it.” you pulled the trigger, only to see a huge flash of red, and go flying backwards across the room. You gagged a few times, dusting yourself off trying to see what happened. Congratulations, you've made a brand new entrance for your home! “It couldn't have backfired on me...” You thought, shaking the gun. Soon, your eyes were met by a blue-green eye. “You shouldn't try to challenge my art, onna. It always wins, un.” He gave you a smirk. Your face went red from how close he was to your face. Apparently, his deep manly voice confirmed that he was in fact, a man. “What? S-so that was you?!” You stammered. He simply grunted. “You're not all there, are you, hmm…” He said knocking on your forehead.
You quickly brushed his fist away from your even more bruised head. “I am `all there'! I just couldn't----” You looked around, and notice that the heavy rain drenched the fire already. You soon left from your pointless thoughts and went on with the questions. “Gah, forget it, who are you?!!”
There was silence.
After eight seconds of even more silence, you acknowledged him as a threat, and attempted to shove him out the place where your windows used to be. “Ugh!!! Will you just fall, already?!” You then ran back a few feet, and charged at him once more. He went flying down a good three stories. “Thank goodness,” you gave out a heavy sigh, and tried to get your well-needed sleep once again. Even with the enormous hole in your room. Just then, you hear even more noise. “Oh no!!!! Senpai is dead!!!” Even though it seemed kind of cruel, you laughed to yourself at the poor kid's words. “That's what you get for trying to mess with me.” But then, something crazy happened—you rolled to the other side of your bed, and sat up. “….the HELL?!” The man you thought you sent to his ultimate doom was unharmed, and floating. While you were busy babbling a bunch of “huh's” “how's” and “when's”, the man came over with a pissed off face, and revealed that pretty spider you saw earlier. You gasped and reached for your weapon once more. You closed your eyes, and…
*CLICK!*
You pulled the trigger, but no sound came out of it. “Huh?” Your eyes widened. You shook your pistol with fury until you discovered something; there was a sticker that had a `Konoha Toys & Gifts' label on it.
“NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!”
<<Flashback>>
You traveled to the streets of Konoha to find some new weapons. You caused some heat back in some of the other villages, so you wanted to be safe, just in case something went off. Suddenly, a small dark haired boy with a wooden-like coat approached you. “Hey lady! Wanna buy some of these?” He flashed one side of his over-grown trench coat that revealed weapons of all kinds. You felt like a child at a candy store glancing at rows and rows of sweets. Mmmm… You then spotted the gun. It sure looked threatening enough to you! So sleek and efficient! It'd beat the heck out of some shuriken! Perfect. You pointed to it. “Hmm… How much for this one?” The boy gave a big grin.“100 dollars.” “WHAT!?” “100 dollars, lady! Take it or leave it!” You hesitated for a moment. That would be all the money you have on you unless you go back to your previous profession which sucked horribly in your opinion. “Shoveling cow manure for the next three months? I don't think so!” Your lip curled with disgust, as the boy moved in closer to you. “You know, you could always give me a little something extra…” He puckered his lips out to you. Feeling like you were going to vomit, you gave the brat his one hundred dollars and snatched the gun from his coat, unaware how completely fake it was. After returning home that day, you found out the boy's name was Konohamaru.

“You must be really stupid, yeah! How the hell are you going to kill me with a toy?” The man laughed at your stupidity. You on the other hand, just sulked for a few minutes. He gave a sigh. You then felt an arm wrap around your shoulder. “Hey, I didn't come to start a war if that's what you thought…come with me for a sec, un.” He extended his hand out to you. Then, your right eye twitched as you stared at his hand like a giant cockroach on it. This was the first time ever you've seen someone with a mouth… on their hand. “Uh… yeah… I'd rather not. Besides, I don't even know who you are.” You said flatly while raising an eyebrow. “Deidara.” He said. The name sounded different…. You've heard about a lot of people, but this `Deidara' didn't seem like another name in the book. “I'm name.” Still uncertain of this man's reasons of being there, you eyed him suspiciously. “Can we please go now? I'm on a tight schedule right now, and you're not making this easy for me, un…” He gave you an impatient look. You turned away. “You must think I'm pretty stupid--- no way am I going somewhere with an S-Ranked criminal…” Deidara then gave a heavy sigh. “You're lucky I'm not danna. Otherwise, I would have killed you by now..” You felt offended. “No way am I getting killed by some pansy named danna!” you thought. “And who may that be?” Deidara grinned, and took a deep breath, about to lecture you on who this `danna' is, and his awesomenicity.
“SENPAIII!!! We have to go NOW!!! People are noticing!!” A masked person came barging through the open space where your wall used to be. He was pointing frantically at some people nearby. You could hear some of your neighbors speculating about what happened to the house. Deidara stopped mid-breath. “Ugh, see what you did?!! Come on!!” Deidara leaped out the `entrance', leaving the guy with the mask to carry you on his back. “Wait! What do you think you're doing!!! Put me down, now!!” You punched him in the head a few times. “OW! Please! I'm only doing this for senpai! Tobi is a good boy!!! Honest!!! Please stop punching me so hard!!! OWWW!!” So, his name was Tobi. You let out a small sigh, and decided to let them take you. You realized that not even violence or speech would get you out of this.
