A cool breeze was blowing in your face. You opened your eyes and see a butterfly leave your cheek. You stand up, staring in awe from a mountain top high in the clouds. You glance at the flying insect again, and notice that it looks somewhat familiar. “That's not real! It's… clay! He…he's alive!” Your heart was filled with hope as you followed the creation like it was no tomorrow. You jumped over high rocks and boulders to reach it. It sets down on a small pebble, and you pick it up. “Name.” Deidara was standing right in front you. You look into his eyes worriedly. He looked nothing like he did when you last saw him. No signs of injuries were shown on his face or body. “Y-you…” He laughed lightly and put an arm over your shoulder. “I wasn't expecting to see you here, hmm…” “Then we have to go back! They might think-” Deidara knocked on your forehead. “We're dead now, name. We're never going back.” You stared at your hands, clutching them into fists. “Then…He… killed me…” You looked up, noticing Deidara was gone. You feel something soft touch your shoulder: His lips. You gasped slightly as he embraced you from behind, nuzzling your neck. “W-why are you doing this… I thought I wasn't that special…” You turn away from him, as he grabbed your cheek, grinning. “I guess… first impressions don't mean that much to me anymore…” You were so close to his face. In your mind, he would never do this in a million years. Deidara traced the side of your face with the back of his hand, and walked off. You ran up behind him and tapped his shoulder. Your fingers slipped right through it. “What's happening to you?” he turned around, and smiled sympathetically. “I can't go with you from this point.” “Why?” “It looks like you're too good for me, hmm.” You laughed slightly before his figure began to sink into the ground. You gasped reaching out for his hand, but it was too late. You started to cry. Drops of water from your eyes, onto the rocky ground. “Name!” you instantly stopped, while Deidara's voice echoed around you. “If you start crying, I won't come back for you, yeah!” You sniffed, while wiping away your tears. “…Be strong for me, alright? ” You smiled slightly. Even in death, you didn't want to feel vulnerable in front of him like you did before. You rubbed your eyes and looked up to the cloudy sky going your separate ways. You hoped that fate could bring the two of you back together in another life.
